That's pretty great. Unfortunately, for whatever reason I have yet to get mine. Now on the one year anniversary of last year's Tennocon, but at least I got some sweet physical merch out of it. Not sure what the reason might be, but glad to see that some people have gotten theirs!

Just had this happen to me too. Eximus units stopped spawning halfway through the second crucible, forcing mission fail. Even using a Grasp of Lohk - which is supposed to force spawn an eximus unit - only spawned a regular unit with the overguard modifier from the mission. Spent 40 minutes trying to make it work, to no avail. This amphor from Eximus is by far one of the worst modifiers we've ever seen in the game, since it ties mission progression to something completely outside player control. This needs to be removed, full stop.

Deep Arch Alchemy - Eximus Amphors and Entanglement
Dragoon replied to MobyTheDuck's topic in Missions & Levels
To add to this, the Overguard modifier seems to have a chance to break spawns entirely. Just spent over 40 minutes in Alchemy and for the last 20, no eximus units spawned whatsoever. Even tried the Grasp of Lohk when they reset, and it simply spawned a regular enemy with overguard, not an eximus. We've seen some painful modifiers over time in EDA, but tying mission progress to RANDOM SPAWNS is by far the worst idea they could have had. I'm very frustrated right now. Considering making a straight up bug report. -
Don't forget the hotfixing pause before Jade Shadows too. It's really weird. It feels like this year has been among the worst for pauses and radio silence. For me personally, it's weird seeing Reb doing interviews and talking about stuff and finding out after the fact from someone on reddit or something, without actually giving those messages to the playerbase on a medium they'd see, like here or the News panel. What happened to devstreams being about communicating with the players? Nowadays it's just them showing stuff off (or saying they can't show it off because of spoilers) and ignoring the contentious parts. Wasn't Tennocon hype though, with them telling us to wait for gamescon or TGS to see more upcoming releases, instead of, you know, the actual convention built around their game? I think 1999 is going to be great, but the 'Prologue' quests have almost always been something that could have come out at the same time as the release and nothing would have been lost. Pausing hotfixes when RJ is in such a state with the UI right now, especially for an update that the devs themselves say is supposed to be nothing more than an intro, does feel off.

In the spirit of this, I have to reference a subject I made literally the week of Tennocon 2023 after I got home. I made this on August 30th, 2023, and despite getting an answer from Erich in the thread reassuring us of digital access codes to those with the physical album, nothing has resulted of this. No news was given even after the digital edition was finally made available, and frankly it's disappointing, given that the Warframe Soundtrack 1 came with a digital download code included, which was what I expected when I bought the second at Tennocon. The purchasers would have digital receipts, we have the codes for the orbiter decoration (of all things) that was included - there are easily identifiable methods of granting digital codes to those of us with the album. Please DE, I just want to be able to take my awesome Warframe music on the road with me. I already paid full price for the album itself, at convention prices even. It shouldn't have been released without the same great accessibility option the first came with as standard, that if you buy the album physically, you would own a copy digitally. If this could be mentioned on the Devstream at any point, it would be great, @[DE]Megan, @[DE]Rebecca.

I'm still on the page that LoS should be removed. It's historically buggy and has never worked as 'intended.' Ember and Khora players know the pain well. No matter how much you try to 'improve' it, it simply won't work, because it's been tried and tried before. You have too much geometry in the game that can interfere with it to possibly make it work, and everyone knows this from painful experience. Can we just get rid of it when it should never have been there in the first place? Nice to see some of the other changes, but the big one is still unaddressed. It would be nice to change Nezha's augment too while you're at it. The nerf was huge for multiplicative range.

I find it darkly funny that they had to bring out Pablo to reiterate this 'fix' that doesn't fix anything about what people want. The forums and reddit are hugely disappointed right now and the only reason they aren't getting ratio'd so hard here is because most people that frequent the forums have already used up all their 'reactions' on posts they agree with, so they don't have to make their own. Saying nothing about Nezha's multiplicative range nerf too. You're a great guy Pablo, but not even you can make these changes palatable.

PC PC Dante Unbound: Deep Archimedea: Hotfix 35.5.3
Dragoon replied to [DE]Megan's topic in PC Update Notes
I find this 'modifier' isn't talked about enough. The forums are focusing on Dante right now (for good reason), but I honestly hate this modifier. You've spent the past how many years trying to fit the Operator/Drifter into the main combat loop, from adding arcanes, amp arcanes, focus school reworks, etcetera. Now in the supposed 'endgame' mode you propose, the culmination of all the gear we've farmed and affinity we've gained, you consider it a 'modifier' to remove all investment into one half of the gameplay loop - the Operator - as well as remove our choice of gear? For players that have worked to unlock them, focus schools can definitely become important things to consider in a loadout, whether you want Unairu's poise for knockdown resistance, Madurai for damage, Zenurik for energy; they're choices we make that are now useless in what's supposed to be endgame. Removing choice isn't difficulty, it's artificial. The modifiers for Deep Archimedia don't come across as difficulty, they come across as fake difficulty, just like Grendel's missions. -
I really hate to say this, but one only needs to look at the "PSA: Heirloom Collection Platinum Changes & Lessons" to show they absolutely can and will ignore getting ratio'd, among other changes over the years. To repeat @Ace-Bounty-Hunter said a few posts from yours, if they want to, they certainly will cut off their own nose to spite their face. It would be nice if the changes were reverted, and the Nezha nerf feels wholly too much for a frame that doesn't see much use anyway, but I expect them to push through LoS alterations for Dante alone. Bonus points if it goes through without addressing the LoS issues many frames still have that had that added. To add my ten cents (heh), I too agree with fully reverting the changes, both for Dante and Nezha.

I'm sorry if my once a month bumps to this post were too much. I haven't done one since your January post in solidarity, but with TennoCon 2024 already fast approaching, that means it's almost been a year here. I also can't help but emphasize how it went from 'when' to 'if', so I know it's very likely nothing will happen, but hey, I'm not giving up hope yet. A digital code should have always been with the physical soundtrack exactly like it was in the first one. I'm not going to TennoCon this year, so I won't get to talk to you again in person, but I do want to thank you again for all your work on the awesome sound design in this game.

Did they say if the TennoCon 2024 backpack-syandana will ever come back?
Dragoon replied to -Krism-'s question in Players helping Players
Nothing TennoCon-related has ever returned except for the drops they have during the livestreams - those always come back as Baro offering usually. All the 'TennoCon' armor sets and syandanas have stayed exclusive to the digital pack. The only minor exception so far has been the Tannukai armor set and longsword skin, but that was also a twitch drop and not a sold 'TennoCon 20XX' item. It would be nice if they did, since one of the very first TennoCon syandanas (2016) had the kind of slim, minimalist yet sleek design I love for my fashion, but didn't grab at the time. I started in 2016 and the TennoCon 2016 syandana hasn't come back since, so I'm going to go out on a limb and say they won't be coming back. Still, with the old supporter packs coming back to the market, we can't say never anymore. It would be nice, but I don't think it'll happen is all I'm saying. -
You know what, finally, after searching Google and all the other new articles and overviews, yes, that one header is indeed the time tickets went on sale, in advance like I asked for. So yup, the information was out there...just very limited, not at all intuitive, and not even updated on the Tennocon-dedicated webpage after the fact like it should have been. So yes, I'll take the L on that and apologize for saying otherwise, but I'll second your last phrase and add that there was no reason it shouldn't have been in more places, like the Tennocon page they direct every inquiry towards when searching for information.

Ironically, I would have been fine with that. Any warning in advance. Guess when I got my email that tickets were 'available now'? 9:57 AM, almost an hour afterwards. In fact, almost the minute I replied to you the first time lol. It's just pretty sad. Posted on the website in advance like they did in years prior would have saved all that. I went to the 10 year anniversary in person on a collector ticket because it was the first in-person tennocon in years and the 10 year celebration besides, but I told myself I wasn't going unless I could snag a VIP this year because the waiting was just too much.

On neither of those posts is the actual time tickets go on sale stated. That's what I'm talking about, since people are going to try for the best tickets available and they'll be there the minute of. I know they went on sale today, but not the actual time to be ready, so I was just refreshing and checking constantly, because it didn't occur to me that they wouldn't put out the times on their own website in advance, rather than just a post on twitter at 8:08 CST (my time zone), less than an hour before they go on sale.
