  1. You can , you do need a specific set of abilities to do it - Mass CC or defense is most effective , or just plenty of patience as you keep moving to new excavators as the old one breaks.
  2. Quite a poor main (15% or not) to not notice what you are asking for is already part of her kit :D Dont worry about it though for a game as complex as warframe you cant know everything.
  3. i dont think DE will give players another wuclone -_- But i do agree that the parasitic link augment feels ... situational but lacking, to be worth the slot. I would rather just get the 90% DR from linking to enemies and have armor that will give even more DR and EHP.
  4. We already have QTE at home QTE at home: mercy and lich parazon finishers, We also have conditional reload effects too (sirroco has it , reload from empty grants specific buffs depending on weapon/mods) I wouldnt mind some special reload mods
  5. i don't normally recommend this , but since i did it myself i would be a hypocrite for not mentioning it. Do check your helminth , it may have some invigorations that will help compensate some of the challenges for modding/modifiers, And there are some subsumes that can work wonderfully together. Like mind control is normally crap , but mind control a leech eximus and you can get some pretty good utility (just one example).
  6. Frost actually does ok with low duration *you would still want to stack some duration to a comfortable level after the modifier) , his 4 will strip enemies of armor allowing you to kill them easily and the augment gives overshields thats another layer of defense. Cold is rather good as a CC effect and Frost is just full of it and there are a few mods and arcanes that benefit from cold effects.. Gotva prime is a decent primary for focused fire and Zarr with some ammo mods can be a reasonable option too, assuming you actually build it decently. But the important thing is picking your battles and picking your allies , creating a globe from which to take out enemies that are frozen solid and having some spectres on call will make it more manageable.
  7. Finally did it earned my eyes, Sevagoth + Cedo + Occucor + nepheri + hound Had to use invigoration that gave duration and efficiency (got lucky on that) , specters (ancient + shield = decent survival) , extremely active plastyle of CC (shadow embrace against the liminus and other enemies while they are gloomed is nice) , Debuff (sow and reap cleared a lot of enemies) and support (gloom with shadow haze really was MVP) along with a squad that was decent and a weapon that was also a lucky pick that did both CC and DPS (Cedo could slow with cold procs and occucor gave radiation). The modding was something i wouldnt normally use in regular missions but it worked well enough. It was not easy even then , and things got hairy once or twice. But it was a satisfying victory full of valor. And now that i have it, i think i will use the better part of valor going forward. I also think we will be getting more cosmetics as bragging rights (we got the hands and eyes we will likely get the other parts too by some over the top optional game mode)
  8. It is very much possible , Remember the zealots ? I expect something along those lines.
  9. I wouldnt mind an increase (with backdated additions for each time the Riven reward was picked would be nice) but it's really not on my priority list. I have just as many weapons that work well with rivens that do not , I am always happy to get a Riven for a weapon i like but I don't go seeking them and have dissolved many cause I have duplicates.
  10. We keep getting close too , like 45 seconds to go and bam ,another wipe cause a CC immune enemy focused fire in the objective and you are either reloading or can't cast anything. The first mission is fine , you have tools to get over it and just be smart enough to ignore the enemies without weakpoints and keep moving ahead. The defense mission though , I had a squad using 2 mechs , they made the bad decision to sit in the objective. The limius decided to camp with them. The health of the objective kept falling rapidly and then bam. Guess this week is a no go, unless I get a squad setup that works well. I have a decent loadout too , well the weeks still young let's see what it brings along.
  11. once again my issue this week is the mirror defense , its almost a repeat as last time. last time: enemies have cc resistance thanks to OG and energy kept getting drained, this time enemies cannot be CCed cause you dont have any duration or the limius sucked your energy while you were casting. and the enemies can still very easily kill you and the objective can die cause you killed enemies near it (and staying near it attracts the limius which sucks everything you got). i dont even know how bad the third mission is yet cause i keep failing at the second mission and keep getting paired (if at all) with those that dont speak english. The poor matchmaking irks me more than anything.
  12. One does need to be a dinosaur to miss those days I guess :D RSB it was a solution to a problem of the time (not to mention co operation was mandatory as part of the mode mechanics) , I will miss LoR (not JV ). I too would be happy to jump in a few runs to help others if there was an actual queue I could find.
  13. How's about we reign in the power creep and balance the game instead ? No ? I guess I will just step out then.
  14. Just wanted to check if the raid bus is back in business again (it's been what 7 years ?) Looking at all the complaints /unwillingness of players to coordinate based on their loadouts , can we see a re surfacing of the bus by some mechanical necromancy to aid the poor souls in their time of need ? For those unaware of what I am talking about, the raid school bus was a discord channel where players looking to complete trials (endgame of the time that needed group co ordination and gear availability) got together and cleared it by actually planning things before hand. It was a good setup , and it helped old and new players alike to clear hurdles they faced. Somethings similar seems to be the need of the hour. Also , can we get a better recruiting mechanism as well ? I have S#&$ luck due to my timezone and working hours.
  15. I do wish there were more weakpoints counting towards headshots. It does, as OP has highlighted , impact a number of playstyles that depend on headshots. I am ok with there not being a higher multiplier , but it should allow us to trigger the effects atleast.
  16. I never liked the concept of "exilus mods not adding damage" , all mods (should) technically add damage either by making your shots land where you want them to to more often or by letting you reduce the downtime, which is what recoil , accuracy , travel speed and beam length do. I can see what they mean by it (I am not just arguing without understanding what they are going at) by making them more of a qol mod slot than anything else. But they really should not have to designate a mod slot as QoL , it just feels defeatist to me. As in they have given up on trying to balance the weapon mods where qol mods are worth slotting compared to other mods, and it's so bad that they have to make a whole mod slot for it. I would much rather they balance the damage output of the various weapons by cutting down on some multipliers such that qol mods are actually worth their mod cost. But until that happens , yeah we could use some more mods in that slot. And while we are at it , maybe add exilus slots to exalted weapons.
  17. I dont bother with speed running , i complete these at a comfortable 10 minutes where i also spend time collecting some voca. Although as a tip i will give a few hints i use to make my runs smoother, 1) you can narrow down the search by hacking any terminal that isn't a nechramech summon terminal (this doesnt always work , but works more often than not) , you dont need to go for the ones that the marker is pointing to - so if you know where a few terminals are you can cur down the time by a lot. 2) having some sort of "bait" in the red circle will let you have enemies go there instead of following you around so you dont lose time when you need to kill necramites. Ths can also backfire if you dont see where any "ally" units are. 3) Having the vampiric effect also extends to the nechramech , so while situational , you can technically stay in your guard mode indefinitely , it can be quick if you get one of the more open tilesets for the red circle.
  18. I am not much for drama , you may want to reconsider that popcorn. You could'nt F00l me anymore than you can make water more wet.
  19. I have actually been using many other pets since the rework , I specifically pair the smeeta with my nekros when I want to so some resource farms. But between the kavats , I think the adarza and vasca would still need something to be more worthwhile.
  20. Certain things are envisioned to work a certain way from a design perspective (not just code). If you look at just Dante , yes they could have probably taken the easy route and reduced the range (which would also cause an outcry amongst many) But doing it as per their vision , they have set a reference for others similar designs to work better on launch and mature over time. They also managed to find multiple issues with their own system and will get it fixed thanks to that. You can imagine it is the difference between having insta noodles vs cooking a proper meal (by someone actually competent at cooking) . They both feed you but, one takes more effort but is usually a lot more delicious because it has fresh ingredients in just the right balance when it's done, the other is probably going to kill you over time due to the added preservatives the company hasn't told you about.
  21. My apologies , I cant help myself and get into an argument when I see things that irk me from a logical standpoint.
  22. That's an acceptable statement to make , it's mature and to the point.
  23. I do use some , the grouping of vazarin isnt bad for any small range follow up attacks. Zenurik slow and headshot bonus is oft overlooked , Naramon for some melee builds (including exalted and pseudo) can really round out some edges. But i tend to stick to either Madurai for the overall bonuses to combat or to Unairu for the amazing utility. My biggest issue with operator/drifter combat (in the main game , not duviri) is it feels so jerky , if it flowed smoother i would use it more. for reference , i love the equinox energy transfer enabled switching between forms, it feels really smooth , Or Saryn Molt , it doesnt "feel" like complete switch to a different vehicle, just a slight shift in gear.
