A few months ago I would have agreed , But with the advent of subsumes and archon shards Equinox has reached the potential she always had much more easily. (As much as subsume and archon shards acquisition can be easy) There are of course things I would still like , like energy transfer being innate and the unnecessary range based DR and damage calculations , or the metamorphosis buffs getting weaker with time. Tiny things that make me go "just why ?" As much as independent modding of each form would be amazing , I feel it might make her a tad bit too OP. What she absolutely needs is QoL improvements , from casting speed to persistent calculations.

If you ever worked in statistics you will know, You will never have all the data , you always have to settle for a close approximation of it , a thousand words are more accurate at describing something than 100 and a million words will be even more accurate. That is the nature of accuracy , you can always squeeze more out , the question is how much is enough and when does it stop being worth the effort. Do you like this ? yes or no, the bare minimum objective, How much do you like it? 1 out of 10 ? 3 out of 10 , 8 out of 10? more accurate and still objective, Describe what you like or dislike about it? Accurate but subjective and not objective , Write an essay describing your opinions with clear references and examples- even more accurate and extremely subjective extremely difficult to categorize. As to being "Productive" i say HAH! sir , you are in the wrong place if your objective is productivity! hah! It is not weird at all , you can still describe and be expressive with one color (up to a degree), but you can always be more expressive if you have more options. you can paint a better picture if you have more colors. And now we just run around in circles, i guess, For you to like someone that disagrees you need someone that is willing to disagree in the first place. That can take time , its never always the first post or second post , it may be 3 pages down and made very succinctly and well , but has been bogged down with gibberish that came before. And you need to get through all the gibberish (the swamp) to actually find it or you may just get bogged down and leave. you can yourself also start one but it faces the same challenge of never getting seen by others. You kind of just described voting with your last paragraph there :P Ah, i seem to have misunderstood you and what you meant about negative impact my apologies about that. i was not referring to censoring at all at this point but the "feeling" of negativity one can create or feel with a dislike or a comment. I am confused by this statement of yours, its very difficult to follow, Firstly What a person should do is the starting point of any civilized action , And i agree that incentivised expression of thought can change ones opinions , that is how debates and discussions work and should continue to work. Never in my points did i say that one should not be more descriptive , but only being descriptive is also not helpful. There is a time for words and a time for reactions :D And there really is no need for that reservation as we are more than capable of linking to external poll tools as well. Having reactions is the equivalent of having polls in my opinion.

Which is why i said i would actually like a more nuanced reaction option from full agreement to full disagreement and some options in between, but i will settle for 2 options at the bare minimum. The like isn't accurate without something to counter it with equal ease of expression and weight. And within the framework of a painting you are free to paint whatever you can express as long as its blue , if that's the only color you have been given. I am once again iterating my dissatisfaction is at the ability to more easily express agreement than disagreement leading more people to skew towards giving agreements (or simply ignoring the topic) than expressing their dislike, I am perfectly OK to remove the like button as well , but that's like killing the only cow to promote equality in a village. Maybe my experience with other debate forums skews my opinions , but having more options is usually better if they can be moderated well. The forums are fine for people that are willing to and capable of expressing themselves , but very much a swamp for those that cannot. Interesting, I disagree , anyone that wishes to offend or be offended by a few pixels will do so regardless. I believe as long as you are required to justify yourself the reactions are an excellent tool. That is actually a fair point , not being able to react correctly - if one lacks the necessary comprehension skills. In which case the player should ideally not pick either and ask for a translation / clarity before making a decision. This indeed does goes both ways. It does not change my opinion , having only one reaction is still pretty dumb. I would be a lot less pissed at it if at the bare minimum i could set up a poll in my posts -i know its possible and i know its intentionally been kept off cause i have seen posts with polls in the past,

I use him sometimes , he is in my current loadout. He isn't bad , but a very common problem in warframe is there is something else that is usually better. If I get him in circuit I use him , he is decent at most of the missions. His 1 does suck though , so I have it subsumed with nourish , that synergises really well with the rest of his kit. His summons are ok , they draw aggro and give shields , not the worst ability in the game. The stomp is subjective and scenario based , it's a short CC and debuff , it's decent if the objective is to push things away. The fission strike is a bit lacking in my opinion , it's great to have a dome of defense strip , but it's hard to see and the casting takes some time and needs continuous aiming while it goes off. Can get hectic to cast during a lot of action. It also doesn't have a lot of range so you can block off choke points, fortunately you can have more than 1 so it's manageable.

I wouldn't mind ... something , Random resources like acrithis has wouldn't be bad (kuva , mats ,other rare drops) in limited quantities for limited rimes. , but if you are at that stage it probably doesn't matter anyway , 1 Forma per week could be fair , Maybe some temporary buffs like the relay fonts ,

I think your comprehensions skills need some improvement (or I am not explaining myself clearly enough) along with you ability to only take bits and pieces out of a discussion. Being able to express my derision through words is not the same as being a derisive person. I enjoy objective observations , they can be explained in a relatively concise, factual and logical method. I am assuming the actual observation is noted later. I have no clue who the PMRC is and what their alliance with the Washington wives resulted in (though now i am curious and will search for that later) , But yes you have articulated the different censoring well enough , and i say that both exists on the forums. There are already a limited number of players that visit the forums , of which there are already a limited number that read beyond the first page , of which there are even more limited players that actually have an inclination to respond in anyway, and of that there are even more limited players that have the language skills to explain themselves clearly , of which even fewer have the time to actually type all of their thoughts , of which there are even fewer that follow up on the conversations. So there is already significant skewing of the type of players.

Does it not ? I wish to analyse how players feel about a particular opinion , I cannot do that when there is only one way to show dislike and more than one way to show agreement with it. I cannot say things like "oh this post has a lot of people agreeing as compared to disagreeing " as there are two different parameters to measure , the number of likes vs number of possibly individual comments which need to be read individually to be understood are a terrible indicator. I also fail to see how it is censoring to have more choices to represent opinions. What do you mean " like this " I don't recollect many other posts highlighting the limitations of the number of reactions available or their impact on a person's reputation . How so ? Appreciate the information as always , Aligns with my own experience. I am against the reason given here (though I know you are just referencing what DE said) as it is possible to keep reputations unaffected by reactions as well though it is a bit complex to implement. Because I have worked on other invision community forums and boards. As both a user and with some limited administration while evaluating different options. Invision is the forum software (you can scroll down to the bottom and it's right there) currently used. You can check their feature list if you want. Most limitations I am aware of come to certain naming conventions and integrations with other social media ,but i am fully aware that you can remove all reactions IF the administrators really wanted to. (You can also add quite a few interesting features that would help in a lot of data collection and simplification as well). Hence I call your assumption rubbish.

No , your assumption that DE is not removing the like reaction because of some technical limitations is rubbish , my apologies if that was not clear enough. Technical limitations can exist , sure , but it does not exist when it comes to the current state of affairs for reactions. Pointless is exactly what the change was as I have no visible proof of it in participation of players , cause in one of their great decision they have also disallowed the use of setting up polls.

You keep using that word , censoring, as a crutch for your arguments , you are using only one aspect of it. Been ok , lots happening in real life. As to the topic, If they really want players to articulate then why have just the like option ? Does that not reduce the reasons to provide positive feedback and interactions ? Does that not also ignore the context? Removing every reaction except like is not simpler , it is limited. It's the equivalent of being able to only take right turns on the road. If you need to take a left you need to stop your vehicle and have it towed by someone already going left or manually push it that way.

Ah I think I see where the disconnect lies , you are of the opinion that when I say negative I mean the content of the thread. I already explained that's not the case , again read the rest of what i wrote. When I say negative , I am specifically considering disagreement or opposition to opinions. The content of the post itself being negative or positive is irrelevant. My whole premise is based on fair representation , The ease by which I can agree to something should be equal to the ease at which I can disagree to something.

And I recommend you read the other comments I posted in this thread to get clarity of what i mean . I explicitly mention exactly what you highlight. Hey there, been a while since we were in the same discussion i think :D I also dont quite get this opinion of yours , if you are advocating for simplicity , then reactions are the simplest form of feedback. You may choose to elaborate , but feedback can be either negative or positive or anything inbetween - i fail to see how limiting it is actually helping get proper feedback.

Until the P2P architecture still causes host migrations , this thing is less likely to happen. It happens in a select tilesets and i prefer to run them solo for that exact reason.

I think some very specific wall attacks have that animation (short duration though) Can also be done if you have a means to bounce or get pulled by something like valkyrs grapple hook. Difficult to pull off though as you need to be mid swing.

When you say duviri , do you mean the experience or lone tenno ? I have to admit i play those solo , so i have very little interaction with other players in those. In circuit , I have yet to see an AFK player - sure there are those that come and leave in one round or try to AFK , but they tend to end up dead very fast or quit realising they can't really do it. I have in all my runs not yet seen an AFK player beyond stage 1.
