Also the body types of drifters/ adult operators are just upscaled child bodies. I find that more than mildly unsettling and creepy. The drifter male and female needs a full rework, head and body including hair.

That is not exaggeration. The Drifter is basically the child operators body scaled with a somewhat wrinkly facial structure. They don't look male or female at all. I am not asking for super sized chest areas but the current bland undefined body shapes look unworthy for 2003 player characters, let alone 2023.
I think it overall hurts the game too, because eye candy being able to create a good looking avatar appealy to both men and women. But Warframe went with the most bland and unappealing of an adult version possible. There are also new looter shooters being released who might eat Warframes lunch if DE doesn't step up their game.

This somehow reminds me of something similar happening in a MMORPG. There was really nice looking area, let's call it the Vale of Blossoms. The area got effed up through environment corruption through the course of the story. A problem that was solved at the end of it. People asked for the Vale to be returned to its original state, but the developers in their tunnel vision on raiding and only having eyes for the latest and newest expansion said no.
For me the whole thing became a symbol for a companies downfall and out of sheer pig headedness refusing to consider even small quality of life fixes.

I agree, old Fortuna lighting was better and it would be easy to fix, but I guess DE wants it this way. Since Duviri I am shaking my head at a number of corporate decisions.

Raids were terrible and it is not something DE can do well or the P2P network code does without breaking every few minutes.
That being said I haven't felt about logging into Warframe for a while. Which was all caused by my dissatisfaction about DE' 'let's go whaling approach' recently

Early it was mostly grinding MR because I needed it to even use weapons. Then I was just trying different weapons and builds over time and it sort of happened that I went to the high 20s that way without concerning myself with MR. Then MR30 became available and I realized I only needed small push to level some stuff I had ignored before to make it there.

Railjack was actually fun with a group 4 players working together. Of course these days it is easier to herd cats than find players cooperating.

I am not much of a fan of Incarnon weapons, it might be interesting to have an incarnon/evolution system on something else. Like Kavats/Kubrows getting a short power mode. Or maybe giving Warframes a brief Archwing mode in normal mode. Not for movement but to execute some kind of Macross super ultimate. Of course this would have to be separate from the normal AW powers because they are laughably weak in open world maps.

Tbh. it doesn't look very good so far.
What little gameplay was shown uninteresting at best.
The world building had me roll my eyes.
Characters and gear looks at best very bland.

After watching the Soulframe video I have doubts it will ever get much traction. The world building, characters and gameplay, none of it looks appealing.

Check out an old video of 'Let's go whaling' from a speech by Torulf Jernström in 2016. Basically he laid down the whole approach of mobile gaming monetization and not only for mobile games.

It's also totally mireading the room with copying the 'Let's go whaling!' approach of many live service games. The same approach destroyed all goodwill for a lot of big brands and I don't think DE can afford to burn through their IP at the rate of EA or Blizzard.

Was never a fan of the Narmer stuff. It was over before it began. Personally I would love to see some Railjack content. Some actual space combat and not a taxi jack like the Corpus one.

Instant death mechanics, poorly communicated mechanics on how to defeat the boss. Bugged with shards stopping spawning and 'special' players claiming the fight is easy.
To this day I wonder why people ask for raids because raids would mean more complete BS like this.

The Sacrifice was intended to be about Stalker instead of Umbra , so see his point of view and tragic backstory, but it got changed mid development. Personally I think Stalkers story is more or less finished and we will only get him as a random visitor and as a side character in future story missions.
