  1. Well straight to the point. The costs and the rarity of the bigger Focus Lenses do not match at all. Lemme explain.

The cost of buying a Greater Focus Lens Blueprint is 200K credits. The cost of crafting said Lenses are 200K with some added rare resources, the rarest being Argon Crystals.

However, the cost of crafting an Eidolon Lens is 25K credits which somehow betrays the rarity of it being endgame.

I think the costs should be readjusted for the Greater and Eidolon Lens crafting sequence. The blueprint prices are okay considering it's a very valuable item. For starters, the Greater Lens should take 50K credits instead of 200K credits and the Eidolon Lens should take 100K credits to craft.

Overall, it'll be cheaper but for veterans but it'll be just as valuable for newer players to get their hands on this. Otherwise, it's much more beneficial for players to buy a Greater Lens for 40 Platinum rather than shelling out 400K credits and 24 hours to get one lens. (For comparison, the High Roller Credit Bundle exchanges 90 Platinum for 175K credits)

  2. Ahai, Tennos. This year, my wish will be the same as the last two years. I would love to have the Hunhow's Gift.

And maybe a Nidus or an Octavia won't hurt either. (I'm on PC)

Either way, wish everyone a happy Tennobaum, Christmas and New Year's in advance.

And good luck for 18th. We take back the Vallis.

As for my story, I started streaming this year. Something that has been on my to-do list for a long time. Will be getting into Warframe after 25th.

  3. One of the best things of the Fortuna update is that bounties are now a viable way to rack up Solaris United standing. And on the side, it's rewarding as hell because you can pull two rewards by completing the bonus objectives.

I assumed that Plains of Eidolon/ Cetus bounties would get the same treatment but that wasn't the case.

I found Cetus standings extremely boring to gather (and I've grinded this game for 5 years). And I think, it would be in the best interest of every player, new and old alike, for Cetus to get the Fortuna bounty update and maybe bring the grind to a grinding halt. (Also the double rewards will be sweet as well)

  4. Okay, so let's put down some stats taken from my own profile where my top frame is Loki Prime and my second best frame is Loki. I'm a semi-retired player so take that into account as well.

Loki Prime has 10,998 frame kills with 938 kill assists and XP earned is 74,356,032 (20% of total usage)

Loki has 515 kills with 423 assists and XP earned is 23,075,592 (13% usage)

The next most used frame is Rhino which used to be my go-to frame before I learned how to play Loki. It has 27,269 kills and 2,545 kill assists and 24,239,678 XP earned and has 12% usage.

My Excalibur has the highest number of enemies killed. It has 30,031 kills with 1,009 kill assists and 17,791,372 XP earned with 4% usage.

I have less kills with Loki and Loki Prime than a semi-tank/DPS and a full DPS frame. Need I remind you, I have over 11,000 kills with a warframe where I lack a direct damage ability (honestly no one mods for damage on radial disarm, it's stupid). So that means I had to kill them by using the environment where I had to jump in and out of the combat zone and switch teleporting enemies to kill them through fall damage. All of that, while having less than half of the survivability of a tank frame.

FOR ALL I CAN SAY IS THAT MY SOLE JOB IS TO KEEP THE ENEMIES FREE OF THEIR WEAPONS AND CREATING DISTRACTIONS WHILE I REVIVE SOMEONE OR SWITCH TELEPORTING MYSELF WITH A DYING TEAMMATE TO BE REVIVED WHILE I DIVE INTO THE FRAY. But yes, do go on to explain how people who play with tactical frames have it easier.

  5. Haven't played it ever since it came out and will probably never run it because it requires you to freaking stop and progress up to a certain stage and then restart it to progress completely.

I never expected that little detail, that was a ridiculous mistake on DE's part. To stop progress midway and research and restart the raid again. It was a deliberate progress blocker for some reason.

  6. Now let me just say that I am a player who likes to earn my stuff without spending plat on them. I hardly buy plats and even rarely go to the trading chat to do business. But the last couple of months have been atrocious and after playing over 20-35 Orokin Derelict Survival for over 45 mins (average) per key, I'm finally at my sanity's end.

Yes a game is making me lose my mind, why ? Because the RNG system is so garbage that it decides to reward me with low-tier void keys instead of the Burston Prime Barrel or the Nova Prime Systems Blueprint that I am farming for the last F&*#ING month.

Why are we getting Void keys from a tileset that it supposed to be forgotten Orokin Ships in the first place ? They're supposed to contain older Prime Warframes and Weapons, forgotten with the passage of time. And why am I getting a Void Key on the 20th minute, I'm guaranteed a Prime item, am I not? Instead of saturating the Void with new weapons and primes, why not pay attention the other Void which aesthetically more beautiful than the normal Gold-printed Void ?

    The moot of this post:

    1. Saturate the Derelict Drop table with actual Prime items not Tier 1 and Tier 2 void keys, nobody likes getting rewarded T1 Mobile Defense for fighting level 100 Ancient Healers with an agenda.

    2. FIX THE RNG, seriously. Playing the same damn mission over and over again for 8 hours isn't fun and even more so when you're not getting that LAST GODDAMNED BLUEPRINT THAT HAS A 0.0675213% DROP CHANCE.

    3. Focus on the Derelict, it's a second Void waiting for improvements. PLEASE GIVE THE DERELICT SOME LOVE.

Now I'll go back and waste another hour or two trying to farm the most elusive Nova Prime Systems Blueprint.

  7. Upcoming, all sentinels will receive a vacuum like ability and Carrier will get a new special ability.

It's not the ability that bothers me, it's the stat imbalance.

Like I said, Carrier Prime is a floating Battleship which has stats higher than the Shade.

Shade has 1120 and Carrier Prime has 1280. Shade's higher HP can be justified by it's pitiful Shield capacity and Armor.

Also note the fact that unlike every other sentinel, Shade only attacks when the user gets attacked.

When we talk about balance, we completely forget that the sentinels are far better than Kubrows in what they are meant to do. Kubrows are another topic of discussion as their Survivability depends on the player and their attack power puts some of our best gears to shame.

The thing is, I want balance. I wasn't really interested in putting a Reactor on my Carrier but Carrier Prime made me get a Reactor for it and Voila! The stats speak for themselves.

  8. So this post is to show the glaring difference between Wyrm Prime and Carrier Prime regarding usage, efficiency and killing potential.

    Stats-wise:

Wyrm Prime: Base vs Fully-modded using Forma

Health: 200 vs 640 with Max Rank Vitality
Shield: 100 vs 375 with Max Rank Redirection
Armor: 50 vs 105 with Max Rank Steel Fiber
    Power: 100 vs 100
    Stamina: 100 vs 100

    Polarities: 4 Penjagas [Y polarity] (Pre-forma)
    4 Penjagas and 3 Vazarins [D polarity] (Post-forma)

Carrier Prime: Base vs Fully-modded using Forma
Health: 400 vs 1280 with Max Rank Vitality
Shield: 100 vs 375 with Max Rank Redirection
Armor: 150 vs 315 with Max Rank Steel Fiber
    Power: 100 vs 100
    Stamina: 100 vs 100

    Polarities: 4 Penjagas, 1 Vazarin and 1 Madurai (Pre-forma)
    4 Penjagas, 3 Vazarins and 1 Madurai (Post-forma)

In this case, we see that Carrier Prime, even without Forma is the superior sentinel among the two since we get better stats and more polarities for modding from the start.

And in case of offense, a fully modded Prime Laser Rifle offers 6646.627 Burst DPS with mods and at maximum rank while Sweeper Prime should offer something around 1700 points of Burst DPS with mods and at max rank counting Optimal mods(Max Rank Mods and Punch-through and such)

So taking both Offense , Defense and Support in account, Carrier Prime is a floating Battlestation which has a great fire support and high survivability, despite being a support focused Sentinel while Wyrm Prime suffers from the lack of survivability and defenses.

Why am I making this post:

Well, now that the stats and the min-max gibberish is out of the way, let's get to the point.

Wyrm Prime is supposed to be an offense-focused sentinel, complementing both an offensive and a defensive warframe.
Carrier Prime is supposed to be a defense-focused sentinel, bringing in resources and dealing CC damage to enemies which players would miss out.

Now from general knowledge of warfare and all, Offense-focused Vanguard type warriors have better defenses to complement their assault tactics. And Supports have abilities which complement their low stats.
In this case, Wyrm Prime has weaker stats and defense despite being a Offense-tier sentinel while Carrier Prime can duke out stats which can put some Warframes to shame and has more base polarities to begin with.

The community(myself included) has already established that Carrier is simply a better choice because of Vaccum. So why not improve the stats of Wyrm Prime and other future Primed/Wraith/Vandal Sentinels so that we have better alternatives to Carrier Prime ?
For example, give Wyrm Prime some better Shield and Armor stats and Extra polarities so that it can complement mods easier (and reimburse players who have already Forma'd their Wyrms).

Sorry for the Wall of Texts.
