  1. Sorry, I'm just now seeing this reply. One of the hotfixes today must have done something because it's working perfectly fine now, no fps drops at all. If the issue rises up again though I'll go ahead and try that, thank you.

  2. Is anyone having issues updating Warframe? I'm launching it from steam and every time the launcher tells me this and loops over and over and never updates.

    Update failed!

Some content updates could not be downloaded from our servers.

The update will be restarted shortly..

  3. Just wanted to share a quick video showcasing a bug I've been noticing. When using snipers in Orb Vallis, scoping in causes GPU usage to spike up causing big fps drops. It seems to be only at certain distances when it happens. I've had solid performance since Fortuna's launch, this is the only performance related thing I've noticed personally.

  4. Huh, I actually thought the 2016 and 2017 syandana were the same so I didn't really see much exclusivity in them, hence why I felt it should've been available again this year. But yea just checked them out, definitely different. Welp, guess I'll just hope for a new one in the future lol

  5. So I just got a digital ticket for Tennocon and then I noticed that the syandana from last year is not included alongside the armor set being introduced this year. No biggie but I honestly wanted the syandana more than the armor. Would it be possible to include the syandana in Baro's inventory at the Tennocon relay? That way anyone who didn't receive it last year can still have a chance to get it, just need to farm up a bit for it. Similar to how the anniversary items work where the new item is free and the previous years' items are available through doing a mission for each.

  6. Huh, just tried it out with normal finishers with a weapon. It didn't activate unless it killed. I guess I really just never noticed since it already did a lot of damage and I couldn't really see much while teleporting around. In that case, Arcane Trickery's text should definitely be changed to "ON FINISHER KILL" instead of just "ON FINISHER".

  7. This seems more like it's a bug but I feel like this section would get more attention right now. So I love Ash's new Bladestorm. It's a great change. However, there's one issue. It doesn't seem to be proc'ing Arcane Trickery correctly. Right now, Arcane Trickery is only activating for me when my clones actually kill something on stab. Simply stabbing targets isn't working which it should because arcane trickery doesn't require a finisher kill to activate. Enemies who bleed out after being stabbed do not proc it either. Me joining in with my clones isn't making a difference as well. Here is a video showing what's going on. I first spawn enemies who wouldn't die to just one Bladestorm mark but who would die afterwards from the bleeding. No Arcane Trickery. Next, I spawned level 5 enemies who would easily die to just the Bladestorm mark. As you can see, Arcane Trickery activated then. I tested it many times and I never onced proc'ed Arcane Trickery on the level 45 enemies. But I did proc it on the level 5 enemies almost every time.

  8. Red Text teases us on Bard Frame by mentioning rhythm, patch notes tease us by showing Limbo, and also Chroma skins still not out. Then I login and there's no Ignis blueprint. C'mon maaaaan. *siiiiiiigh*

  9. So I just got the 260 points for my clan so participating members can get the ignis bp. Now, what exactly does "participating" mean? Do they need to reach mission 3 and do a quick run of it since technically only it contributes clan points? Or can they just do a quick run of mission 1 and be done with it?

  10. I suppose that would end up causing another issue with what you said.

However, alerts aren't the be all, end all of Warframe. You don't get everything you need to be successful at the game from alerts. The more important things you can get from alerts are aura mods, vauban blueprints, and the occasional reactor/catalyst blueprint. Beyond that, a small endo/material/credit cache, a nightmare mod if you don't have a certain one, or a cosmetic item. And all the alert weapons are just mastery fodder.

You still need to go level up your warframes and your weapons, you still need to go farm your prime parts, mods, relics, materials, etc. Your alert blueprints would also still need you to go farm materials to build them. I really don't think an addition like this would suddenly make the game's population drop. It would only apply to alerts.

And yes, skill is definitely taken into account for actually completing missions. In that case, I suppose having the chance be really low would be appropriate. Like maybe 20%-25% max. You are sending out an AI after all. This is just meant to be a way to at least give busier people a chance at certain items if they pop up at an inopportune time for them.

We already have extractors farm for us. They don't suddenly make you have all the neurodes you could ever want. But yea, I just thought this would be an interesting idea to bring new uses to the mobile app and specters.

But if it would really hurt the game that much, then I guess not, whatever then. Forget this post ever existed. :clem:

  11. So today I was sitting in class when I got a notification on my phone that an alert for the new Ivara helmet came up. Unfortunately, my class didn't end until a little after the alert was set to end. From this, I thought of an addition to the mobile app. So many people complain about missing out on alert items such as Nitain or Vauban parts due to just not having the time to be on often.

To remedy this, I thought of an idea where we can deploy Specters from the app to complete an alert mission when we ourselves are not able to, similar to how we deploy extractors to gather materials while we're away. On top of this, in order to add some sort of mechanics to it, there could be some sort of system in place where you only have a certain percentage chance of successfully completing the mission depending on the mission type and enemy levels of the alert and the strength and suitableness of your Specters loadout in that mission if you were running it solo.

For example, let's say the alert is a level 35 Grineer defense mission. If you were to send out your level 30 Frost Prime Specter with a Tigris Prime and a Galatine Prime, you would have a 60%-80% chance of completing the mission due to Frost's defensive capabilities and the strength of your weapons. Alternatively, you could send out your level 16 Hydroid Specter with a Hind and a Prova (no offense Hydroid fans haha) and only have a 20%-40% chance of completing the mission and also run the risk of your Specter being killed. This way, people still have to do some work when sending their Specter to do the alert.

They have to first of all, get themselves blueprints by doing Rescue missions. Secondly, they have to have suitable builds for these Specters for different mission types. And thirdly, having the completion chance incentivizes people to actually do the alert themselves if it's something that they absolutely need and are able to do the mission at that time.

Having this system in place would ease people's frustrations on missing out on alerts, give people a reason to consider downloading the mobile app, and make Specters a lot more useful. So yea, this would be really cool to see and would be super handy when you just can't make it to your Liset in time.

  12. Whenever they first announced they would put kavat codes in alerts, it was originally intended to be 10. The very first time they came up as an alert, it was bugged and gave everyone only 1. After fixing that, DE decided to drop it down to 5 codes for whatever reason. So yes, you got the amount that was intended.

  13. So after buying the Hagoromo skin for Zephyr I decided to work on her and put a forma on her. I hopped in a Draco and at some point I used Tornado right as a Drahk Master threw his Halikar at me. My tornadoes sent him flying but not before he stole my Synoid Simulor. Since he was in midair when he took it, my Simulor ended up stuck floating in midair and I couldn't retrieve it. Which really sucked because I didn't have a secondary equipped. I haven't seen this with any other frames but I'm sure other abilities would cause this like Inaros' sandstorm. Here's a pic showing my Simulor floating.wuZVt7D.jpg

  14. When I go into the simulacrum and I use my Mirage, sometimes the next frame I switch to will have her winter skin on them. This doesn't happen to all my frames but quite a few of them. I haven't noticed if other skins do this and it seems to only happen in the simulacrum. Here's my Mag, my Volt, my Excalibur, and my Frost with Mirage's winter skin on them. Excal definitely looks the weirdest. Also note I'm using steam workshop skins on Mag and Volt so the models are a little different from the standard skins.
