  1. Fix the locations it doesn't work. Which, to be frank, is every tileset in the game. It will be a lot of work, but it would definitely be worth it. The ability is fun being able to move between light and shadow to change what buff you have access to. I also recommend a visual change when the power goes off (similar to when you die with Dagath's 3 up), I suggest increasing the contrast with the ability up so that you can see and plan ahead to know when you are about to leave the light or the darkness
  2. Oh right, I always forget Greataxe weapons and Greatsword weapons have the same heavy blade type. And yet, we can still hope for a weapon type with more blade than handle for this idea. DE tends not to forget stuff for too long. I have been around for a long time at this point, and DE always comes back around to things eventually. Including Cetus. I feel that, after Duviri gets all of its hotfixes and begins winding down, perhaps after the next frame and possible story beat, there is plenty of room to come back to things like Dual Blade zaws, Sniper kitguns, and modular archwings. They only have so much time in the day and have to prioritize stuff, and this is relatively low priority, but still stuff I would like to have in the game.
  3. Attached are several reference images for the idea that I have in my head. As we know, there currently are some Zaw options that are missing from the game. I believe, at least in part, the reason for this is due to the modular system of Zaws allowing for us to make two weapon types with the same head. I propose two new weapon types that, when released together, would allow us to fix both the problem of players not having access to these Zaw types and DE needing to accommodate for the modular system. The first two images attached are exactly what I'm thinking to make two new Zaw types: the Heavy Blade and the Dual Swords. The idea: Cloud's Fusion sword from Advent Children. The Fusion Sword is just like his classical buster sword, but it also separates into smaller blades for him to fight with greater versatility. I propose two blades as the "head" for these zaws. I included examples above for a scimitar and a short sword which have roughly the right shapes for what I envision. The Zaw type, like all Zaws, is chosen at creation. Unlike the dark dual swords, you choose once and then that is what the sword will be for the rest of its life. As dual swords, they will simply be two separate swords, set roughly to the length of the Dual Keres. However, there is also a different version of the blade where Hok fuses the two together, with the scimitar being a bit higher on the blade to add length and also give the blade a curved tip. After doing so, you end up with something like the image of the Falchion that I included as well, likely with a fatter belly due to the curve. It would be perfectly reasonable for us to create two handles for this weapon in either of its forms. For the Heavy Blade, the two handles would be stacked on top of each other for the added handle length required, while the Dual Swords would be a single handle for each blade. To avoid confusing stat bonuses, DE could set a requirement that both of these handles have to be the same. There was also an idea that I had floating around that these weapons could be fused together with infested flesh (particularly noticeable in the Heavy Blade version, with similar aesthetics to when Nidus is using Parasitic Link. This could easily be tied into an Operation: Plague Star event, and/or could require resources and/or parts from Deimos. Let me know what you think!
