  1. I've still been trying this, and I think I have found a pattern:

I almost always start with the capacitor to the right as you start, then go to the middle, then left (counterclockwise). I've fought it successfully twice now by avoiding that pattern:

    - right, left, middle worked

    - middle, left, right worked

    - right, middle, left failed

Curious to see if anyone else has the same behavior.

Stuff like this mostly happens due to connectivity-issues on some end, though in RJ it seems more common. Perhaps there's some sort of hard-to-pinpoint memory leak or stuff like that. On the bright side, even if it takes a while, stuff like this usually *does* get fixed in Warframe.

Certainly true, but this happens fairly regularly in Solo as well - it seems odd that any of the mission progress state would somehow block the slingshot...

  3. Yeah, seriously: it's really only an annoyance right now.

Because in a month? We'll be getting glass fissures every single mission, and we'll all have more shards than could ever possibly be used. Then we can read threads about how tired everyone is about the glass and the <[Ph] Glassmaker Mini Boss> who keeps showing up and making you bring <BEST WEAPON FOR MINI_BOSS> because it's the only thing that works properly.

  4. Played a fair bit - 6/6/7/6 on intrinsics, and all but two nodes in the Veil are completed.

    All solo.

I don't have Particle Ram or Void Hole so I get quite a bit of "heavy ship to ship combat" that requires careful planning, advanced piloting, strategic withdrawals from the battle, and setting up decoys and using asteroids to avoid having Cy pull me out of the mission. I haven't bothered grinding as such (which is why I don't have those two particularly low-drop-change avionics yet), so I spent a lot of quality time with the Sigma MK3 equipment.

I haven't run into too many bugs solo, and personally I have found the difficulty quite enjoyable.

  5. I fly out in my RJ to kill the first set of fighters to make the first crewship spawn. I then back off and fly my archwing out to capture it: a captured crewship draws aggro like nobody's business and it is just shy of indestructible so it's a great decoy. I then pick fighters off with the RJ and either capture (if I'm trying to get max intrinsics) or kill (if I'm trying to get done faster) each additional crewship as they arrive. For best intrsinsics, I let each new crewship send its ramsleds and hop out of the RJ while they're in transit - boarders stand around bored if the RJ is empty.

Thats why I'm happy to take my time and just do a few races every now and then. Not gonna risk RSI / carpal tunnel syndrome just to progress more quickly.

Yes... I don't really want to contemplate the "was it worth it" angle (answer: no, of course not)

  7. Even after the nerf, it only takes 20 - 30 minutes for me to hit my daily max (26000)

Go to "The Pearl", capture the base, then jump and grind around the sphere thing. I don't know if consoles got the patch that made it slightly harder, but if so then simply jumping over each of the supports isn't enough, you have to alternate between the spin-jump and the flip-jump. Every 3000 points (which is a bit of a pain because your score is a number and a multiplier like 115 x24) let go of the "grind" and let the counter reset. You get 1/4 of those points as standing.

Since you own the base, enemies don't spawn there so you're generally not going to be disturbed (though they can walk in, so every once in a while you'll have to take a break and kill a moa or two).

Gives me fierce hand cramps after a while, but I've not seen or heard of anything faster

  8. There's certainly something unreliable about the whole thing. I got a smattering on Thursday, some of which is my fault for jumping streamers, but Friday I sat on Daniel's stream all night and got eight or so. Saturday I got a Nitain in the morning and then nothing all day watching DK, but it started up again in the evening with Daniel again. Sunday I watched DK again and got plenty of credit caches, but the drops stopped around 6pm and I got nothing the rest of the night regardless of who I watched. I've left it up during work today so we'll see how it has gone.

I didn't do anything differently all this while to make such a startling swing between "one an hour like clockwork" and "absolutely nothing" and back again. I get that changing streamers will reset an hour, but there seems to be something a lot more sensitive than that going on.

  9. I usually play solo too, and get odd results sometimes

I had one last night where a butcher spawned inside the mixer and destroyed it because I didn't notice in time. (Not just inside the vault, mind - sticking halfway out of the mixer console itself)

I also had one last night where it seemed like no enemies spawned at all - they actually had all spawned inside a nearby cave for reasons unknown... guess they decided to have a party instead of coming out to get slaughtered. I only finally saw the dense cluster of red arrows on my radar as I was leaving.

  10. The early game stalker was a minor speedbump, really. He scared me the *first* time, and after that I just waited for him to get it over with: you lose the mark when you "die". It was less trouble than a hopeless fight, and I never had him make me fail a mission (I can certainly see it being possible, but it never happened). There were a bunch of times where that wasn't even a conscious choice: he sniped me with the Dread and I was down without ever even seeing him. "Stalker appears, I die" was absolutely exactly how it went for my first six months or so.

But by the time I was actively farming bosses for frames, I was at the point where I could kill him and the attitude switches from one of apprehension to one of gently annoyed impatience - "Will he show up already? I want my Hate BP!".

And then you finish The Second Dream.

  11. There were nearly 360,000 people by the time the "real" stream started, and Twitch glitched (like they have every time there's anything important, TBH). DE's working through the list, most likely in order of when you signed in to their Twitch stream (I signed in at 8 am Eastern time this morning, for reference). I did get mine finally, about two and a half hours after the end of the stream.

So depending on when you actually signed in, it might be a while yet.

  12. “it’s just RNG” is cold comfort indeed. We know its random, but that doesn’t make it fun and when you’re on the “sucks to be you” end of random, well... it sucks. How about not rubbing it in?

As to Relics being a reasonable reward? I already have more than I could ever hope to open. Several hundred more just doesn’t excite me.

But those captura scenes are the real worst thing: after you get it the first time, it’s a complete null reward.
