How is that if you know someone personal and you just make a deal of: "Hey you need plat i got 40 % off and wanted to buy some plat anyways, so its like you got the deal yourself, what do you say?" also ban worthy?

DE doesn't like you splitting coupons. Also doesn't like you having multiple accounts to take advantage of said coupons. Both are bannable.

  2. Few things going on. Lack of real PVP should reduce toxicity. PVE being (1) team based and (2) not requiring communication between team members for most content helps to reduce toxicity as well. But imo, the big reason toxicity is low, is because the game in its current state requires you to rely on others to learn game mechanics. Things like where to find critical mods, how different powers work an interact, where to find new warframes, how to get platinum, all of these require others to inform you, particularly if you don't know about the wiki. With all this going on, new players typically respect veterans, and typically, veterans like to help newcomers. This might not be the case always, but you're far less likely to be toxic to people you feel are helping you altruistically.

Multi&Damage, Crits if you have a third Stat.
your added Elementals will cover Status, so just looking to give as much Damage as possible - and Crits would be where you'd look after you add some more Multi-Shot (kinda about equal with Damage though).

What would you consider the breakpoint for crit chance/damage outdoing an elemental roll? Asking because I've not considered crit rolls on weapons unless they already had crit to begin with

EDIT: Playing around with Semlar.com and Warframe-builder.com, shows that crit chance and damage win out over elemental.

Not sure about breakpoints, but this is fine too.

I recently obtained a Despair riven. Any idea about the best reroll for it?

Low crit chance and mult. I'd do Damage, multishot, +elemental. if you get a minus, consider a faction bane, crit chance (not damage!), or status chance.

  5. Not ingame to test, but patch notes indicate it punches through all but geometry/walls/terrain.

My build: serration/heavy cal for damage. 2 status elementals of your choice (I went corrosive).
2 crit mods (point strike/vital sense). Last two are utility/preference.

I almost always run another elemental to combo with innate heat. Viral or gas are decent choices, blast knocks them down which conflicts somewhat with the crit build. Huge ammo economy (compared to pre-rework) means I like running shred to deal with targets behind walls. Hunter munitions or vigilante armaments are fair options. I haven't had time to tweak this, particularly since the weapon (according to wiki) no longer deals a cylindrical aoe, only the primary beam and a small circular aoe when impacting a target.

  6. Before I begin, let me clarify. I'm not arguing for no improvements to new player experience, I'm just examining one side effect of the current one.

People I get into warframe typically mention how hard it is to figure out the game, be it mods, powers, or progression. They then go into how they ended up having to ask 101 questions in general chat, and someone spent the time to walk them through every question they had, and show them the ropes. Those who keep playing the game months later, usually remark that the community in warframe is, across the board, far more friendly and helpful than other games. Not saying players are without the toxicity (Lord knows how many times i've gotten cursed out because my offer on WF.market was the lowest, but I refused to lower farther); rather, I'm saying that there is something in warframe that causes players to go out of their way to help newcomers and veterans alike. Is it because every player is reliant on more experienced players early on?

If DE wants to change the new player experience, they will need to consider how much information is hidden from new players, and how much is obfuscated in order to allow veterans to guide the new players. Just my two cents.

  7. Warframe isn't built around balance. Armor scaling and enemy cheese should be the first indicator of this. (whether player or enemy scaling came first is a different argument).

But beyond that, DE has always lived up to their name, Digital EXTREMES. And their "balance patches" tend to be more of the same. Yes, DE has nerfed powerful things. They've also buffed things to great heights (shotguns and snipers, namely). I tend to be a cynic when it comes to DE's actions and promises. But that doesn't change that there are extremely powerful options in Warframe, options that haven't gotten nerfed yet. I"ve got a zaw with a riven that can clear a room in seconds. Lenz murders crowds even before hunter munitions comes into play. I dislike the nerf mentality, particularly in regards to the upcoming IPS changes. But at this time, asking DE not to nerf first and ask questions later is like asking birds to not fly,

    Thank you.

Also, you can submit another request if you get shut down and not listened to. There is a group of outsourced support agents that tend to do as little as possible, and being as difficult as possible. If you get one of those, then just submit another request and hope you get lucky next time.

  9. Best amp, is likely the "212" amp. Shwaak Prism   Pencha Scaffold   Juttni Brace

As a head's up, plently players will say there are more optimal options, but this should be the best for new players. Primary fire is an energy wave that travels a good distance, ideal for clearing out the tiny teralyst adds, and the kuva clouds. Secondary fire is a railgun with large amounts of punchthrough, and what you use on the eidolon teralyst.

Best warframe is any healer or damage buffer. But if you're trying to carry pugs rather than using a premade group, what I like to take is a 299% str chroma, and that toxin glaive, Cerata. Cast vex armor, throw the glaive at your feet, and damage the boss. IDR my glaive build. If you want, i can get a screenshot i guess.

Best weapon class tends to be snipers right now. I prefer Lanka, but pretty much any sniper is godly for this. Vectis Prime is insanely strong, with its short reload time. Eidolons are immune to status, so build for base damage, multishot, and corrosive. (Theoretically, i've heard that radiation deals more damage, but i've not tried it.)

My setup allows me to do ~30k damage per shot to eidolons, with either 2 or 3 shots per round. Combine this with a medi-ray sentinel, and it works wonders. Kavat is theoretically better, if you run the adaza kavat, but mine always runs to the feet of the eidolon and commits suicide.

FINAL NOTE: I recommend you run the Zenurik focus tree, as the energy regen perks are ideal for this. Void dash, change to warframe to get the regen buff, change to operator and keep taking down shields. The regen buff also affects your operator, so you can use void mode more often. But you can't regen while in void mode, but that's ok, since you should be shooting anyway.

  10. Last statement I heard was that autohotkey scripts for slide attacks shouldn't make you banned, as long as it's one input = one action.

TBH though, when I'm using AHK, I'd prefer using a repeating script. It's the main reason I don't go for maiming strike builds. That, and they are repetitious as hell.

  11. I enter PoE, someone's already there. I mine for a while, host heads back to Cetus, then leaves squad. I get kicked back to Cetus, but all my mining work is gone.

I shouldn't have to put the game in solo just so I can mine and fish in peace. Seems like half the time, host migrations put me in my own group, and the other half i get kicked and all my work is lost. I have an EE.log saved, but it's too large for pastebin.

  12. Looks quite solid for a base build. You can tweak your elemental damage mods for more status or more elemental damage.

You can also replace Gunslinger for Anemic Agility if you want more damage overall, but that would make your akmagnus extremely inefficient.

Note: for future reference, on the Warframe builder website, you can click "export" to save a link to that build. Rather than posing it on Facebook or another website.

  13. I agree with the "come back from the dead" being completely useless since it deals a fixed amount of damage, but the revive is based on damage percent. That said, the good part of his toolkit is the healing on finishers, since that does make you pretty tanky.
