I dont know how to say this without being egotistical, but i have a 4090, and now in the Orbiter im seeing 420+ Watts power draw and GPU temps to 60C.
in which last time i knew the game did not run like this before, ~300 watts while in orbiter and ~50's for temperature.
At 1440P resolution and i frame caped the game to 240HZ to match my monitor
im guessing all this is the cause of the new lighting or something, i havent quite kept up in the loop for this game.
i hope this is some sort of fail optimization, i hope warframe does not join the Cyberpunk/Diablo-4 melting fiasco.
So i sent Rebecca a message on twitter, the only way to stop your GPU from turning into a silicon fusion reactor is to turn off Volumetric Lighting + Volumetric Fog for the time being doing this power draw and also GPU temperature goes down to what i consider more normal for this game. My initial message + her response
