I really hope that isn't the case, my ground floor doesn't have any place to fit the dry dock, and I cant make space for it either

i couldn't build it on the ground floor either though, or any floor at any area for that matter. i purposely set up plenty of areas for new structures just in case, but i couldn't use any of them. having anything above or below shouldn't have been an issue for most of the areas i had ready either. well, after i had to exit game after a soft lock, can't log back in anyway so yea...welcome back to warframe, huh?

  2. same exact thing, think same place too actually. then whenever it appears again i get lag spikes like crazy. it's probably pretty obvious that my laptop just isn't up to spec anymore but since i'm not loaded with cash i guess this'll be it for warframe for me. the new direction of the game seems to be graphics first, gameplay maybe never.

  3. don't think ppl should quit after 1 stage anyway. this whole unvaulting bounties thing is loaded with confirmation bias. i got 3 of the meso relic in one run, as in 1 relic each stage one time. then another i only got the lenses in the table. just cause the first stage only rewards common doesn't mean you won't get any common on other stages. heck, with the way this game works you're more likely to get screwed and have only common rewards which is what ppl are hoping for this time around. it's all wonky anyway so just run it all. i don't get the excuse of not wanting to burn archwing launchers either. just when the heck else are ppl planning to use them then? don't they get it? this IS the time to use them. now it's time to use all those resources you burnt yourself out getting when PoE first came out. if you don't have alot of them then it is troublesome but there are ways around it (Nova anyone? Volt anyone? Titania anyone?) i doubt they're really saving that much time going back and forth from cetus anyway whatever the load times are.

  4. of course if enemies get in range i melee but as cool as it feels to go sword alone, i'm just better in general with rifles of all kinds. it helps out too since for whatever reason, enemies scatter like roaches whenever you come within a certain distance of them instead of just forming up and mowing you down. considering how superior grineer think they are it always feels weird that they run like scared rats if you even start walking toward them. faster and easier to just shoot em rather than chase each one down. whirling around with melee sometimes makes me nauseous too depending on the weapon type, some are worse than others.

but really, use whatever you're good at. if enemies are dying and you aren't, then that's good enough to me. i don't micro-manage stats that much.

  5. all this does is add a pointless step to bladestorm, after you set it, it still carries out the same 'wait and kill' action as before. unless you're going out of your way to target, we'll probably just hit 4, sweep it across the screen and hope for the best. you said it's supposed to give players a sense of interaction but it's really just wasting our time. i can get off 3 miasma on saryn in the time i target 5 enemies w/ bladestorm properly. totally convoluted decision. just why are you so bent on making us slow and useless anyway? just what are we now but a laughing stock to the enemies who basically negate everything we do?

well, those questions are a bit off topic but i'll also add that it was foolish to assume we need more nitain just because we don't carry it in our inventories. did you check to see if those without it already have the equipment that needed it finished in our mastery lists? and endo is a resource that is obtained constantly no matter what you're fighting. there's no need to make a lump sum reward of it anywhere. everyone will always get it whether you want to or not. so please stop cramming stuff down our throat that we already get buried in. at the moment, sorites are one of the most difficult things to complete. finishing it and being given something you find in any low level mobs' table is pretty disheartening. eventually it makes you not want to bother with it anymore.

  6. determining it by inventories is a bad move. i have 3.5k ducats atm but i'm an old closed beta player. if your looking at that and increasing the prices because i've got alot to spare, you're really screwing new players over who probably haven't even farmed enough relics to be able to start farming ducats. the inventory gap between vets and new players is way bigger than you think and even on this side of the fence i find it pretty saddening when i think about all the things new players will never even get a chance to accomplish by getting turned away every step they take. hats off to those who decide to stick with it though even if most of the stuff you see vets with in game will either never appear again or once in a blue moon.

  7. feels really redundant now since you make new relics for the gear that wasn't vaulted but was on the vaulted keys' table. you're making new relics anyway, so just do that instead. kinda no-brainer. if i have to farm new relics (which is still pretty awful i.e: too many relics on the same node. maybe give incentive to fight bosses by tying some to them?), then i'd rather farm them for new gear rather than recycled ones. are prime access for returning vaulted items just plat bait in between prime access for new prime frames? maybe i answered my own question, sorry.

  8. fine except the movement. like the way it kinda makes you circle around the direction your facing (hard to describe). kind of makes me feel nauseous. the inertia effect or something they added? is that right? aside from that, archwing is archwing. still feels wholly unrelated to the general game or rather just pointless since nothing in it is really used for the ground game and vice versa. maybe tellurium. but that's it. would be tons of work but the first time you deploy in archwing, you start in a ground mission. i wish there were archwing/ground missions that were dynamic like that.

would've been cool with that fomorian ship if when you got inside it, it transitioned to a mission in the ship, then destroy whatever, then back to archwing (storyboarding here) things are all right, but it could still be alot better. unfortunately at this point there are alot of ppl that feel it should just be scrapped in general.

  9. fissures aren't really that different than when survival first came out. not enough life support, weird enemy spawns, broken scaling. probably just ran out of time and made up whatever was handy for the tables.

thing will get fixed but some long before others. 'needs a bugfix' is kinda different than 'feature is unfinished'. it's not the end of the world no matter what the mayans said. just strapped on deadlines like any other business. honestly i thought the game might have died of void fatigue long before this update even happened so it's not all bad right?

at least they fixed second dream cause being trapped on the liset was far more crushing to gameplay than some wonky enemy spawns.

  10. means t4 sabotage

for ash helmet if you didn`t get it

nope, if a new prime is to be released, one oldie will beat it in order of release

also, >>>>my conclusions<<<< that to have the removed ones come back, I`d assume one to go, like rotations, one comes one goes, and they shift

tho I think this is a $&*&*#(%& bad way to solve drop tables` issue

agreed. rather than change the system to fix the problem, they lock it in permanent stasis and claim it's fine as is. whatever this 'orokin vault' talk is or the implication that parts 'may come back later', doesn't really inspire confidence in how they plan to handle things from here on rather than outright ignoring feedback on the issue (which they've basically already done).

pretty much warframes last year....not outright, but tapering off...... if even the keys weren't random but rather selectible as a reward maybe it would help. spend forever just finding the proper key and then even longer for a part.

  11. Nyx Immortal Skin and Vespa Helmet still needs a look.

Issue can be replicated easily with dark colors.

    Thank you!

eh?! wow i just kinda thought it was supposed to be like that lol. didn't even think about it. it was a bug? now i can't unsee it when i color her. looks like paint by numbers or something now. grey line borders where you color in. well nyx is the only immortal skin i have though so not sure about any others.

  12. nice that they 'heard about how terrible it is' and 'hope the potatoe helps', but aren't actually going to do anything about the tactical alert itself. sure there are ways to beat it but they mostly involve doing stuff that might as well be considered exploits like 4 nyx absorb, or dropping every energy restore in your inventory. is that what they mean by 'strategic'? finding the loophole in the over-restrictions? i guess it could be looked at like that, but don't even try and pretend this has anything to do with difficulty or means it's fun in any way unless you're a huge masochist or something. oops maybe that was too far. oh well....

i mean: 'oh what an awesome event! thanks DE for the cool strategy based gameplay involved and the variety of enemies available! and the....(insert continous blind singing of praises).

  13. Silva and Aegis has always looked bad. Before this update (and whatever the hell went wrong with certain textures) it looked like a piece of cheap plastic.

i'd rather have the cheap piece of plastic you can color properly then. new surface just looks completely out of place. if they can fix it 'seamlessly' like they said then more power to them. if it's not working out that way, i'll take the cheap plastic in a heartbeat.

  14. Doesn't have to be T4, defense/survival/interception on Pluto, Ceres or Eris. Or any duration mission. Similarly ODD. If you do 20 waves you get a lot of points. It may not even depend on the enemy level but just how much you kill, I just haven't done such missions in low level places. It would be a good test if Earth defense gives the same rewards. Getting to wave 20 with a speed nova in DS-Defense is pretty easy. If that nets 500 or close to in faction points, it's not a bad way to farm neurodes/exp and syndic points.

ah i see. haven't done many of those missions lately. i'll have to poke around the various DS and see what the returns are like. interceptions are like my most hated mission type so unless i'm farming keys, i kind of avoid them ha. maybe now that rewards for defense and interception stack, i'll check them out more. if it's like that then the first rank won't be so bad for me.

  15. given how large the increase is in rep required each rank i agree it would be great if there was some kind of scaling or bonus for rep rewards as you're promoted. why is an unranked grunt getting paid the same as a general? that kind of thing you know? and i also agree about the sigils. aside from appearance they do nothing so why would anyone spend their rep on a new sigil that's the same as the first one they give you? after what you go through just trying to rank up, there's no reason to get sigils at the moment. so if you tie those into the promotion bonus to rep rewards might give a bit of incentive to try out what is otherwise currently a useless feature in the syndicate system.

well unfortunately i can't really play 10+ hours a day or whatever so i won't even be getting the first promotion till sometime next year. if that's when the daily things start then i'm kind of already in trouble. i am interested in these high level missions that give 500+ rep though, TaylorsContraction, if you could let me know about it, might help. like survivals or something? or T4's? not sure what you mean. haven't been getting any more than about 80 or so.

  16. well i figured it would be like this. my next guess was that Steve would get bombarded to slap a pay wall on syndicates but at least that didn't happen. i will agree that given the miniscule returns from rep per mission, some adjustments should be made whether that's more rep alerts (haven't actually seen one yet) or whatnot. until optimizations can be made i'll just get ready to spend the next year or so trying to get that one ash mod for smoke screen and nothing else i guess.

  17. seems like the majority of the 'duration' problems on abilities simply stem from the inability to re-cast them. if even 1 enemy is still under the effect of a chaos or stomp, ect., then you must either find and kill them or wait it out. basically meaning the focus is wanting every move in the game to be spammable. whether that helps anything or not is a different matter. but i'd say it wouldn't. unranked mods and underclocking are just more complicated versions of using a recast instead. wanting to spam stomp like miasma is a problem in the moves' functionalities themselves and doesn't really have anything to do with the way the new system will be used.
