  1. Im currently game on PC, and dont use my console much. I want to play Warframe on PC, but I do not wanna start over.. I have about 1700 hours played on console, lots of time and money spent, time any money I'll never get back, but I dont want it back, it was time and money well spent.. I would like to access the game on any platform.. I know DE cant do cross-save for reasons, but Destiny did it, any its like you never left the game, and certain aspects are better on PC.. I love Warframe, and it would be nice to see Cross-Save someday soon..

I'm in the same situation as you are: My account is on console, but nowadays I do all my playing on PC. They have expressed interest in implementing a cross save feature but there is no clear schedule for it. All we can do is wait and hope for the best.

Oh wow, thanks, have you already started over on PC, or have you just been playing other games?

You are asking for something verry difficult to achive. Not only the economy ballance across all platforms will go insane and tennogen will be a problem as well since on consoles you can buy em with plat. Lets not talk about to updates and hotfixes that will take time for the consoles.

    Destiny did it

  4. Do we have Cross save in Warframe? I Just bought a fairly decent PC, and If there is cross save, I'd like to join you guys if you would have me.. If we don't have Cross save, we definitely should.. I have over 1700 hours on PS4 Warframe and a butt load of gear, and Tennogen.. If there is no cross save, that's ashamed, because I can't see myself starting all over..

Do you really think it would still be fun if you could just craft one key and then chill in an mission for 1hour getting forma, primes and void fissures just for that one key? There is a reason they nerfed it, not because it destroyed their income or the market, they did it as it was just stupid and took away the fun, it was just too easy for that amount of rewards. If you aren't happy to grind for 30 minutes in a game about grinding, you really should think about your actions.

Most people I know haven't spend money in this game, and the ones that actually did, spend it on cosmesitcs. I bought some plat for the sake of the developers as I wanted to support them, and then spend it on useless costmetics, you can play the game through with not paying, it's not even hard or anything, there is no pay Idk

Idk bro, I think atleast half the community is buying plat.. If you think about it I can guarantee atleast half the community is min/max'n and using play to do so.. Most people probably start free, but players that stick with it know they can't reasonably be expected to reach endgame in they amount of time it will take playing for free.. Furthermore, we don't know. we don't have the player spending analytics, so at best we are both Speculating.. Im just going based on what I see in game.

Sure you will be able to farm a bunch of common worthless parts but what about the rare ones you need to finish your prime items those aint gonna drop unless you get super lucky.Heck back in the day rare parts could cost like 400p just cuz they were on a t3 key rotation c.While we did lose the ability to get parts in bulk easily we can actively chase parts now which i feel is way better.

Yeah the melee changes are really odd almost like they didnt finish it and just threw it out but they seem to be fixing it up slowly so hopefully it wont be long till everything has settled down

400p? For the whole set maybe, unless you mean like Ember/Frost back then, and even then other 400 a part is highway robbery, I never really had a issue, Is just squad up an go in with the mindset of, I'm not leaving until this drops, maybe some ppl feel diffrently..

Ya, hopefully they iron out this melee mess, either way I feel it may not be viable, and we'll go back to trying to do as much crit dps as possible ..

Well, I hadn't used CO, and all the weapons got a damage buff, so please explain how it's a nerf for any of my melee. Blood Rush is a bit of a nerf, sure, but other changes more than make up for that.

The vast majority of serous melee users run CO

Why bring up the void keys again? In like 90% of cases relics are better because its much easier to get the things you want i remember spending weeks grinding t3 keys or spending hours in survival just for a 1% or 2% drop on rotation c to the point i had nightmares about it.

The new melee isnt perfect the nerfs on condition overload and bloodrush were a bit much and some of the stances are iffy but DE has mentioned theyre gonna make changes once they collect enough data and feedback.

In a game that is constantly evolving and adding content items are gonna be changed and the meta is gonna shift i remember back in the day if you had a boltor prime you were ready for anything.

The investment thing isnt gonna stop that if warframe just stayed the same all these years and hadnt moved foward it would have died long ago

Come on, think about it, for the cost of 1 void key, you can bring a 4 man, and possibly get endless prime for everyone.. You need new relics with new prime in them, then 3 ppl with a matching relic, for a RNG chance, then your go run the quickest mission, to not even get what you want most likely..

I don't know, the melee changes leave a rotten feeling in my gut..

What does lenses have to do with your point tho?

Forma can be farmed through 3 ways in game. Catalysts can be gotten through 3 ways as well. Mods and stuff to deck out yer equipment can be farmed and if you insist on buying, majority of the required mods shouldnt cost you any more than 25-30p. Any more and yer getting scammed.

Hell even CO can still be transmuted. Ive gotten 2 within wasting 4m on transmuting, its not as bad as wasting time in uranus hoping for a drop.

The only ppl i can see who your topic would be related to are the ones who decided to throw money at the game rather than wait for stuff to finish.

Greater Lenses cost of your RNG is bad.. You will need a Greater Lenses on your melee to focus farm..

If you invest in something in a live service game and never ever expect it to ever change, you've got the wrong mindset.

Things shouldn't be immune to rebalancing just because people have put work into them.

Maybe your right, but my point still stands.. Plus if you have the audacity to make it seem like not much is really changing with the mods while also saying that the overall damage and range of melee will be brought up to be in line with these changes.. Your simply tryna confuse and mitigate, when in all actuality melee is being nerfed... Just say "Melee is being nerfed, and you'll only be doing about 1/3 the damage you were found pre nerf..

  11. Okay, let me start by saying a "CO" nerf, Is a nerf to melee in General..

Let's Compare the cost of WARFRAME to any game you paid 60 bucks for.. WARFRAME is Free right, this stuff is all free, as opposed to paying 60 bucks for, so the devs should be able to balance anything they want.. Right? I'd argue that WARFRAME isn't free, in fact if you like the game because it's seemingly free, your probably gonna spend more in WARFRAME, then any other game ever.. WARFRAME has such a good business model, that it's managed to fool the community..

Let's talk about weapons and mods.. Weapons in mods are free right? All it takes is time investment right.. On the surface yes, but WARFRAME is a RNG bases game, besides market blueprints is all RNG, from every single resource you need to craft your gear, to all the mods, rivens, relics, prime, it's all RNG.. This creates a affect where serious players who are willing to spent money to subvert said RNG and the grind.. Come on, we all have lives, an other games to play.. And I know some ppl will say " Oh I got everything through grind, trading, an price gouging" Well congradulations, your part of the top 1% but for the vast majority of end game players that's not how it goes..

Why are we even talking about money, everything is Free right, plus isn't this about the melee nerf? Stay with me it's all relevant.. So what do endgame players spend money on? Well along time ago, way before relics, back in T4 endless days, It took 1 key to stay in a mission as long as you like with a reward every 5 mins, with best rewards coming at rotation c, Oh and you could bring in a full party on 1 key.. Everyone was swimming in Prime an Forma, but the other part to this was a little Xp farm called Draco on Ceres.. For what ever reason, all this was nerfed, destroyed, and replaced..  This created a problem where players are running out of Forma, Can't get the Prime they need, because of the relic grind, Oh an it just felt like your earning overall less xp..

Fastforward today, We have no analytic charts for the most purchased items in the store (besides Orokin catalyst/reactors an exillius adapters) which is already egregious.. I would bet money that people are spending thousands on Rivers, but as far as the market goes, I guarantee people are buying up 3 for 35p forma packs, and Affinity boosters.. Why? Because it's the only efficient way to power level your gear.. Tell me How much money have you spent on melee mods if you don't mind me asking, melee mods l like, Condition Overload, Bloodrush, Body count, Maiming strike, Primed pressurepoint, Primed Fury, Primed reach, impact sets, Slash sets, puncture sets, hell, A maxed out melee Mod when you had no fusion cores.. How much have you spent on melee riven? Plus forma and Affinity boost.. After 1700 hours I don't have time to run around melee only just to absorb all the xp into melee.. How much have you Spent on just greater zenurik lenses for your melee affinity run..

Look If you nerf Condition Overload it affects not just the melee weapon, but every mod on that build, an the forma invested, booster lost, and time spent..

  12. I went on a List W1 rad.. It was already hard to get a 4man with matching relic. We 1 on a lot excavation and got it on the first try I think, but I will never freaking know because my reward screen just said loading, but I saw everybody else click on player 2s reward, so I tried to click on players 2s reward and it wouldn't let me, just said loading... I'm sooo freaking mad, all I gt was a stupid forma because the game glitched out.. what if I bought that relic with platnum.. Jesus man I'm out off a relic, 100 void traces, and the time I spent on all of it... I want my freaking Wu kong blueprint..

I'll preface this with my usual thing about Garuda. I love her, I got into properly playing the game because I wanted to get her, I put my Umbral Forma on her instead of something smart like Inaros or Nidus, she's my most played frame after Trinity P. (by a very slight amount now). However, she has three very distinct issues that, for all my love, I cannot overlook.

    1) Everything about her is clunky as all hell. Her 1&2 suffer from the same problem of either not triggering because the enemy has their foot hidden behind a small rock, or sticking you face-first into a doorframe. Her shield is borderline useless, thanks to its slow turning time, laughable coverage, inability to protect from AoE/Knockdown and Warframe's nature of making sure you're always being shot at from every direction. Her 3 has a tendency to randomly send you into a hard-landing, while her 4 has a painfully slow charge time even with Natural Talent (and another chance of getting stuck, looking at the hard-landing animation). That's not to mention Oberon, Trinity and whoever might be running Rejuvenation suddenly becoming your worst enemies if you want to benefit from that passive.

    2) She is not late-game viable. For all the fun I've had furiously micromanaging her during an hour-long Solo Mot run, it'd be crazy to consider taking her to anything truly important when playing with a team. Even with three maxed Umbrals, Primed Flow and Adaptation, the Quick-Thinking build becomes redundant at the 40 min mark. At 60, she's got trouble staying alive using her HP pool, often getting shredded before she has time to make an altar. Unless you want to switch to the role of a full-time debuffer (completely forgo the reason you've likely picked her) she becomes progressively less and less useful exactly at the point where a 100% damage increase across the board and eternally scaling damage become truly useful.

    3) Her theme is an absolute mess. It feels like two completely different people were designing her at the same time and had to settle for a half-baked compromise when they finally got together. Half her kit is centered around putting her right into melee, supported by the flavour-claws that should be replaced with something actually useful the first chance you get. The other half seems to, instead, motivate her to stay back and act like a full-time caster by giving her a one-directional shield, an AoE that benefits from being at range and another AoE projectile. Sure, she could be made to work, but this clash is part of the reason she's so, absolutely clunky. Furthermore, for a Gore-themed Warframe, she's got pitifully little gore to her design. When I read her description, I expected to play a Drukhari Wych, with specialization on satisfying and visceral kills. Unsurprisingly, I was disappointed. No brutally eviscerating your enemies, no leaving a literal bloodbath in your wake, no cold and methodical eradication that leaves the enemy terrified and demoralized, just some spikes and a Magic Meat Missile. In this regard, she's basically just another Octavia's Mandachord or Nekros' Shadows - something that sounds very exciting when promised, but ends up bringing nothing but disappointment thanks to piss-poor execution.

Jeez man, you used your Umbra Forma on here..? Kinda weird with all the negatives you just listed although  I do agree with you..

The cast times of her abilities are still extremely slow even with natural talent.. The slow cast time hasn't been too much of a issue although I have not took her into any endurance runs, but I can see her requiring a lot of micro management because she does in regular content .. I can see her maybe being good in ESO..

You are right about her theme. When I look at Sayrn I think of plant or Poison Ivy, When I see Rhino I think of a Rhino .. When I see Wisp I think of a Ghost kitty, But when I see Garuda I think of claws i guess.

Perhaps you need a better understanding of how bleed works? Simply having bleed isn't that good to be honest, knowing how to take advantage of it can see you go from wasting entire clips to build up fatal bleed damage to a few taps.

Bleed basically only gets scaled by any generic damage modifiers against the base damage so the only way to scale that damage is through crits, faction damage mods, crit, headshots, buffs that improve the base damage of a weapon (i.e. your passive being a huge one). Because of this weapons that are capable of dealing high base damage accurate shots that are capable of critting excel unbelievably well. It's why her ultimate is capable of making amps terrifying weapons, they have exactly what bleed wants. Massive base damage, solid crit stats.

For examples of good guns to use you can basically look at any weapon that is good for hunter munitions because garuda's ult is basically hunter munitions on steroids.

There are other things you can do outside of this however. The most well known combo is using dread heart on a target marked with your ult. Whatever your ability damage is listed as is it's base damage so being able to take 30k damage and have that massive number just turn into a bleed proc is insane. It's pretty much impossible to not instant kill a small room by slamming that thing into a crowd of marked targets. Garuda is a reason that if a boss is ever considered to not be resistant to bleeds, it will have to be made bleed immune. The sheer amount of times I've seen a phys enhanced level 100 kela de thaym and 1 shot every cycle just by using dread mirror once to absorb 200k damage and then throwing it back at her to bleed is obscene.

There are some other scalars for your bleeds outside of crit. I found gas + faction mods to be crazy good on some weapons. faction mods modify every step of a status effect leading to crazy damage. You hit an enemy with a simple bane mod for 30% and the initial hit is mulitplied by 1.3x, then the gas explosion is multiplied by 1.3x after being raised by the previous multiplier, then the toxin dot gets multiplied by 1.3x. But since the gas explosion is a hit as well, it not only applied a toxin dot but also a bleed proc scaling off an additional 1.3x. I'm not sure if a bleed proc is a seperate hit then a proc similar to gas or not but either way, it's insane. Just a single burst to the head of a 155 heavy gunner with a gas tiberon prime deals fatal bleed damage. That's WITHOUT any bonus damage form her passive. If I was at 50% damage I doubt the heavy gunner would even need to take more than 1 extra tick of bleed.

I have spent way too much time in the simulacrum thinking of really stupid ways to abuse this ultimate and the fact that I have a pretty long list speaks a lot.

I understand how bleed procs work, but her bleed procs arent that great When compared to anything with Hunter Munitions, especially on like the Rubico, your potentially getting 28k to 90k bleed procs, which I know is overkill, but it makes Garuda look weak by comparison, or like Hunter Munitions on a miter..

Garuda passive is trash, you know what she needs, she needs Ash' s passive.. Garuda needs longer lasting bleed procs.. Don't get me wrong Garuda can deal some damage, it's just by the time you do all that casting, you could've easily blew them away with your freakin super op weapon that has 5 forma and a riven in it.. Like unless you plan to play solo, you gotta really go out of the way to use her, and even then other frames can do what she can quicker an better..

I think I'm starting to develop my own sort of playstyle with her where I can play support, an burst DPS... It's not the correct playstyle for her an I wanna say there no wrong playstyle for a WARFRAME, but that's just a blatant lie.. Overall I'm starting to like her more than most frames, so I just wish she was a little better..

I'm actually one of the few who has pretty much transitioned into a Garuda main in the last few months, after years of maining Saryn (Saryn is starting to feel too easy, but that is another thread all together)

She certainly has to work for it but here are some notes (in no order, wall of text incoming) of what I love about Garuda:

    PROS:

    • She looks amazing. Let's just get that out of the way. Now that I have the 1 tennogen skin for her, I can't wait for there to be more. I will buy them all.
    • Her 1, although clunky at times, does A LOT for one skill.
    • Her 2 is not only an insane healing tool for you and your team mates, but also completely shuts down high threat targets, which even includes things you wouldn't expect, like bursas.
    • Her 1 and 2 are both high range mobility/travel tools, making Garuda a very nimble frame.
    • She is the queen of self sustain, and thus an amazing solo frame. Between her 2 and 3 (also magus elevate is great) she needs no support and can pretty much be at any amount of health and energy she chooses to be.
    • It wasn't always like this, but at some point Adaptation and Quick thinking was changed to work together. This makes her a tanking BEAST with an always active 100% increase to ALL damage, seeing as you can can stay on 2 hp and with a primed flow and the above mentioned mods, you have an insane amount of effective health because armor and adaptation reduces damage to your energy pool.
    • Her 4 clears low level content by itself at huge range, while also being immensely powerful in high level content. As long as it isn't status immune, nothing last "all damage from all source cause bleed procs".
    • She is effectively the only frame that can double weapon damage without casting any skills or having any buffs active, which makes her great for levelling weapons. if you play her at always 2 health (which is the right way) then that is just always on.
    • While not insanely useful, it is insanely hilarious when you realise that dodge rolling into enemies while your 1's mirror is active knocks them down. Become a literal battering ram 😄

    CONS:

    • As a player who spends a lot of time really understanding, testing, and fine tuning almost all frames in the game, Garuda is indeed hard to master. It will take time to figure out how to juggle her skills (other than the obvious 4 - 1 nuke combo) correctly, but when you master it, everything bleeds always.
    • She is entirely dependant on quick thinking and primed flow. I wish I could build a high health version of her, but it isn't worth sacrificing the passive damage buff.
    • More of a personal preference, but I feel natural talent is also mandatory. It might not feel all too required for new Garuda players, but once you get the hang of her playstyle and sustain, you want to start casting your skills often, especially her 4. Then natural talent improves the situation a lot.
    • Blood orb from her 1 is indeed mostly useless on enemies not effected by her 4, and also pretty crap to aim.
    • Also personal preference, but I would totally use her claw melee weapons if claw stances did not feel so jittery. There is nothing smooth about either claw stance IMO, and at current using a long range zaw will be better in literally every scenario. Hoping melee 3.0 fixes this a bit.
    • As with all Quick thinking builds, staggers can ruin your day. Although high armor and adaptation makes these very rare.
    • Seeing as you want to stay on 2 health at all times, playing with other frames that can heal you can be frustrating, because there is no way to opt out of allies healing you.
    • Dread ward augment sucks. For all the many things her 1 does, you would think an augment for this skills would be more interesting. Nope, literally pointless. Stacking enough duration to even try and makes this work will only reduce her already more than enough tankyness, for no gain. I could rant for days on this one... Changing it to a damage reduction buff instead of a directional mirror, or making the blood orb an AoE nova instead of a projectile, or literally anything else would have been better. Yet another dead on arrival augment. Let's hope skill 2, 3, and 4 gets something actually useful.

I'll edit this post if I can think of more. But my advice, if you like her, keep trying. She is just tough to get used to, not underpowered. I will happily take on any content with triple digit enemy levels with her, but it took me time to get there.

Ya, she can defenantly hold her own solo.. I wish her claws had more range, but that seems to be the common theme with most melee..

As for Quick Thinking, lol, I'm actually not even using it, I got a 200 power strength build on her with decent range, Idk I'm trying a lot of things out on her, just nothing seems to be too amazing..

I always try to find something amazing about a Frame, even if I don't like them, but when you find that amazing build or combination of abilities, It makes you respect them.. Like when I first started playing I didn't care for Rhino, but he can do so much stuff I learned to respect and love him.. If you want protection, more damage, dual augment armor cheese, cc, Rhino has got your back, Rhino is like a meme.. Limbo is another frame that I learned to respect.  Garuda, she can survive, Idk, she doesent really impress me, but that doesn't matter, because she looks soooo great, especially in her Tennogen, especially covered in blood.

True, but there's actually some weird fun builds you can do with certain Vaubans abilities that make hi me kinda fun in certain scenarios, plus he some cc which is more useful then most Garudas kit.

Garuda is not that bad, the only issue is that her whole loop is clunky and requires too much effort for a majority of players (although there is a select group that likes it). This gives her a very specific playstyle that is enjoyed only by a certain group of people. A bit like Harrow.

Which means that unless you want to be pressing rotations and constantly on the edge you are not likely to like her playstyle. Given you like Wisp, Garuda is likely just not for you.

To be honest I'm a Saryn main since Draco was the defacto xp spot, but I like most Warframes.. Narrow, atleast he gives you access to massive damage output.. But honestly, Who's worst then Garuda right now..?

  18. What do you guys think of Garuda..? You notice she's one of the frames that's rarely seen? Do you think Garuda is any good?

I recently put like 4 forma into my Wisp, an I love her she's great, and she has really useful tools in her kit.. So after I finished with my Wisp, I noticed I had a Garuda, that I never touched, and I had a affinity booster, so let's go..

I'm on like my third forma on Garuda, and I can't help but notice she kinda sucks, as well as her exalted weapon.. It kinda sucks because she looks really cool, an her Tennogen looks great 😭😭😭, but she's just not that good.. The best thing she can do is almost kill herself with bloodletting an generate energy, and the coolest part about that is how she covers herself in blood.. Her 1 isnt that great, even when combining it with her 4, Then you gotta cast bloodletting to generate more energy, then blood altar to seven health..

I want Garuda to be good so bad, but it's like Why would you use Garuda when you can use Wisp/Equinox Prime? If you really wanna get down to the nitty gritty, Why would you use Garuda when you can use Any WARFRAME besides Vauban.. I honestly feel like in her current state, she's is one of the worst frames in the game, to be honest, depending on your build, Vauban is better than her, you gotta really go out of the way to use her, and Garuda deserves better..

  19. From the day this thing launched all the way up until now, at any moment you can just be kicked from Orb Vallis on mission or free roam, and the end result is, you not only lose all your resources, but you lose the standing and equipment used to get those resources.. It's not even worth staying on Orb V with a team to farm extra standing, because at any moment the game can bug out and kick you off they entire game..

I just lost a hour and a half of farming these synathid fish an stupid freaking rocks, doing this boring repetitive stuff (that's been hated in like every mmo type game ever) using baits, an dyes trying to hit all these hotspots that are in the corners of the map, just to lose it all because Orb Vallis  is super glitchy, not to mention the resources I spent to get all the bait too, I lost everything, please respect my time..
