  1. The rng behind the elemental modifiers seems to be a little too much, I have converted 4 kuva lich so far since most of them had weapons with a 25% bonus, I think it would be more interesting if we could recycle their weapons to use as an upgrade system for the kuva weapons that we have or that we want to use the most, the main issue with kuva liches right now is that there is no proper way of mitigating the rng and we need more ways of mitigating it for it to feel better.

Kuva Liches should also have more roles other than just randomly appearing in missions, maybe they could run recon missions and deliver you Murmurs or Kuva, maybe they could be setup as engineers and they would help you improve your current kuva weapons or even help repair your requiem mods, maybe they occasionally appear right before the kuva lich instagibs you and block the incoming attack(seriously how cool would that be), officer kuva liches that occasionally send thralls to help you out when they can't do it themselves.

Honestly, I find the "vampire" theme tacked on to him to be entirely unnecessary.

I think you are correct on your assessment, the main problem with revenant is that his kit tries to accomplish too much with very few results, perhaps simplification and overall removal of the vampire aspects of his kit would be more beneficial for him while also improving what he already possesses.

The vast majority of the people who have commented on the topic agree that thralls are not in a good state and even if you could have more than 7 thralls, it would only influence solo play and depending on the changes it could cause problems to other players.

So why not change enthrall? Instead of thralls dieing and creating energy pillars, how about if we could create an energy pillar in one area instead, you could summon a few of them at a time and they would turn enemies who stay inside the radius into thralls so instead of feeling frustrated with your thralls dieing and having to recast enthrall you would have something on the field making your a job a little easier, you could put the energy pillar on a specific point in order to turn enemies into thralls, there could be a limited amount of thralls you could have but it would still simplify the task of creating thralls.

The Energy Pillar could then do damage at the end, perhaps based on the amount of enemies it enthralled for example, of course the energy pillars would have to have a larger radius than what they have now, but they don't necessarily need to look bigger, just have bigger radius.

Mesmer Skin should be recastable when you still have charges while Reave should cast faster when you are not on dense macabre, perhaps 1-2 second damage immunity after the Reave is over would also help.

And you aren't right, because when I forma'd Rev up I played pub Revenant solely on high-end content including sorties and had ZERO problems.

Sorry to barge in on this discussion but I just want to say that argument does not work because every single Warframe can pub on high end-content with zero problems without using any abilities

The issue is, there are quite a few warframes that can contribute on high-end content and they are quite good at it, Revenant's only good ability right now is his ultimate and his secondary ability is decent, but he still lacks a few things.

As was said previously in the thread, he lacks survivability, I can use my ultimate in a solo game, after my mesmer skin is gone, my revenant dies almost instantly because he lacks armour and his shields don't soak up enough damage, his first ability is useful on solo mind you but this is one of the things that shows you that without some form of tankyness, Revenant can't do well with his ultimate, so his ultimate only synergises with his mesmer skin and reave for getting away.

  4. What if they make his third ability for team play while his first ability is designed for solo play?

They could make his third ability give some sort of bonus to allies and even Revenant himself, perhaps a vampire buff that let's allies and you life drain a bit off enemies, like 2-3% lifesteal for 8-12 seconds, I would also buff the width to make him buff allies and himself much more easily

The only Factions that can ignore our Shields is Infested and Grineer because of the Lancer's Hind and Infested's Toxin. At lvl 200+, Grineer is much more of a threat because of their Armor Scaling and the amount of Damage the enemies can do to you (Enemies like Seekers, Napalm, and Shield Lancers). Infested have Enemies like Toxic Ancients, Mutalist Ospreys, Ancient Healer, Ancient Disruptor, and Tar Mutalist Moas. Those are Threats at high level too for Shield Heavy Frames and Weapon Relying Casters. Since Revenant have next to no Armor, Those Factions would kill him Extremely Fast with the Current Mesmer Skin he got now.

Since Revenant has 105 base armour, then he would have 105/(105+300)=26% Damage Reduction on his shields, I am not absolutely sure if that would be enough to make his shields more relevant but it would definite help a bit, however if they would increase his base armour to at least 150, he would have 150/(150+300)=33,3% Damage Reduction on his shields if his shields were affected by his armour

  6. ^^ That's one of the fundamental flaws of the game, Hit Points are superior because there are quite a few things that can go through shields at the moment and if you are just building shields, you end up shooting yourself in the foot, 2k Shields<any amount of hit points superior to base hp any day of the week

  7. The current energy pillar has a range of 2 meters, so I would suggest the

Overcharged Pillar- the one that is created when a thrall dies very quickly to have double that range and perhaps do more damage, perhaps a small aoe explosion that slows down enemies as well, this would end up creating two different playstyles for Revenant, one that is energy pillar centric and the other one that is thrall centric that would work in solo while the first one would work in a party setting.

The primary objective of this is by providing two different playstyles whenever he plays Solo or in a Squad which I believe would make him unique from all the other Warframes, Reave could also perhaps be used on these energy pillars in order to renew their cooldown or give him some sort of overcharge mode or even give him some health back based on the duration missing on the energy pillar

  8.  I want to also provide some constructive feedback for the changes, Revenant itself is better fit for solo than what it was before, the issue is that inside a team, he is not able to bring much to the table, the reason is primarily due to the fact that as soon as you enthralled someone, an ally is likely to kill it before the thrall starts snowballing into 7 thralls.

What I would do to enthrall is make it so you can enthrall 2-3 targets by enthralling a target, 2 tendrils would shoot from the target and enthrall the other enemies near it, the energy cost would go up to 40-50 to compensate, the benefit from this is that it wouldn't be overpowered and it would you create thralls much faster in a teamsetup and spreading energy pillars around much more easily while also providing revenant with an easier time to grant overshields to his allies by killing thralls with dense macabre.

  9. I wanted to provide some additional feedback to the ability Enthrall

     Enthrall

    Solution 1

This ability has a couple of problems at the moment, the most notorious one is the fact that it can't spread properly, my suggestion is that the first enemy that you use your enthrall on gains a perk, that perk causes the enemy to explode on death, spreading enthrall to surrounding enemies in the form of tendrils, this enthrall from the enemy explosion would not give other enemies this perk, they would instead just become enthralled and spread it normally by shooting other enemies.

    Solution 2

One of my other suggestions that could perhaps mitigate this problem is by creating a ghost version after the enemy dies, the ghosts would last for less time than the normal enthrall, let's say 1/2 of the duration of enthrall, but these enemies could grow in number without having the ability to enthrall others, so you have enthralled enemies on the field and enthralled enemies dieing and still serving you after death, of course these would end disappearing after they lose all their health or after the duration is over.

These ghosts would have a limit of 12 with the 4 enthralls that you have at your disposal, the 12 ghosts would not create the eruptions but they would contribute by doing damage and soaking damage to the enthralls that are still alive

The marvelous thing about Revenant is that we could have a Warframe that can fill a variety of different purposes, by investing in duration you would be allowing to have your enthralls and ghosts longer on the battlefield and perhaps Range could be something that could scale the max amount of thralls that you can have.

I am not saying that Revenant should have an army but I think he should be able to create a respectable Platoon, in army terms a platoon generally has 15-45 members and I figured 4 enthralls and 12 ghosts would get the job done.

  10.  As much as some people say that Revenant's ultimate might be a bit too strong, I wish all warframes had ultimates that were actually relevant and scaled properly for the late game, the ultimate itself has a weakness, it can't hit things above the warframe which makes vulnerable versus flying enemies and specially obsolete on the plains, I would have personally preferred if Revenant had a directional beam similar to the old Operator special that I believe got removed, the Revenant would float up and shoot a massive beam out of his chest, it could also be given a lot more power by pressing the left mouse button.

I know people wouldn't like this as much because it would remove the beyblade ultimate but it would let Revenant have a good way to providing long range support and having a beam that just clears almost everything in front of him.

However the thing that needs to be addressed first are his first 3 abilities, specifically his first one, we need more enthralls and these enthralls should not be killable by allies or if they are killed they should be turned into Vomvalysts or something of the sorts that provides some backup to the Revenant, at the moment it feels like a worst version of Nyx's mind control ability except it does a little eruption that damages enemies and gives some sort of shield overcharge which I am going to be honest, it does not compensate for the fact that the thralls get overwhelmed really quickly, the eruptions also do not help that much, I might as well be on the backline shooting with my gun or using my ultimate to clear mobs, what is the point of me summoning thralls?

I use my second ability and ultimate and use my third ability to retreat since it's more responsive with my ultimate, that completely prevents me from using what is supposed to be my signature move, also with allies my signature move can't even be used, maybe I should be able to turn allies into thrall lieutenants and they can create more thralls for me or something?

  11.  I don't know what Revenant is trying to be, he has 3 abilities dedicated to his enthrall but all of them perform badly, the only redeeming ability is his ultimate which has some weaknesses which is fine but I believe there needs to be made a decision if he is supposed to be a Vampire or Summoner, as it stands he is a lackluster Summoner with some damage.

I just don't know, I like his ultimate because it matches the concept of eidolons, couldn't his enthrall ability make the enemies turn into Vomvalysts when they die and they sap life/energy shield from enemies and give it to Revenant? It would be easier for allies to recognise that those are Revenant's minions since they are unique to him, I think the design on the Frame is spectacular so taking a few steps forward could help his skillset a lot.
