  1. DE Megan said they are working on it a couple weeks ago, but since they still haven't come out, its probably not very high on their priority list. I agree though with how annoying it is to not get them. My guess is that whoever makes the noggles has had their hands full, and hasn't gotten around to making them. After all, the majority of non prime warframes don't even have noggles available for purchase which has annoyed me for like 5 years now since I have been wanting to complete my noggle collection.
  2. I dont get it. Why are the alt helmet, floof, and noggle "bonus items limited to the accessories pack." But will also be in Varzias shop when his resurgence comes up? What differentiates those items from the other accessories that aren't considered bonus items? Dont get me wrong, they absolutely should be purchasable when his resurgence happens, but marketing them as "Limited bonus items" if there is no difference between the other items just seems like deceptive marketing. Also on the topic of Prime noggles. I don't believe last years prime noggles were given out this year. At least I have yet to get my wisp prime noggle even though I purchased her full pack.
  3. Actually now that Ive gone back into my memory banks, I think I got the noggles from buying the prime resurgence packs from back when they unvaulted primes and sold their packs for a much cheaper price. Because I got a Mirage and Banshee noggles, and I know they had a pack together. The only reason I said I got them from the accessories is because I only every buy accessories but still got noggles in the mail. Except for Wisp prime, I bought her full access, but still haven't gotten her noggle :(
  4. I have definitely gotten prime noggles from just buying the accessories, so idk about that.
  5. They are both just game mechanics that DE implements awfully. Sitting around and waiting for the boss to be vulnerable, is just as bad design as giving bosses damage attenuation that essentially just makes the entire boss fight a count down timer. DE just needs to recognize that no matter what boss they make or how long it took to design the fight, players will have it "solved" in less than a day. And just because they force players to shoot at a boss for 2 minuets rather than 20 seconds, doesn't mean the boss hasn't been solved, it just means they're wasting players time. So they might as well just focus on making the fight fun, and invincibility and attenuation aren't fun.
  6. what skill requirement is higher than the end game content? The only point in the entire quest iv seen anyone really struggle with is hiding from the guys who mask you. and even then the answer to that "skill check" is to stop trying to do the same exact thing over and over again.
  7. This is just flat out wrong. people were FURIOUS at the very idea of any kind of story skip. Charging for it was just an additional irk that push some people over the edge of disliking it.
  8. Legal troubles are debatable, but the main issue is DE losing the trust of players. They cant advertise a product as "going away forever after this date" then bring it back and expect people to be okay with it. Especially when they said they messed up with the pricing, so if they did bring it back at a lower cost it would be an extra "#*!% you" to the people who bought it first.
  9. all my settings are pretty much maxed out, everything turned on except for motion blur, depth of field, film grain, and bloom is set to 3/100. Dynamic resolution and upscaling is off, brightness and contrast is set to 50, running on Direct X11.
  10. And what I mean by that is that for some reason when you are in the arsenal, there is an unreasonably bright light that is pointed directly at you. It is so bright that it actually washes out a ton of the texture details, and makes it much MUCH harder to properly customize the appearance of your warframes and gear. Because if you want to see what your Warframe will actually look like in normal content, you have to leave the arsenal and stand somewhere else where there is normal lighting. Example: Why does my Warframe look like this in the arsenal... When this is the brightest your warframe will ever be lit in 99% of normal content... And to add some context, the colour I am using for the main channel is GREY (smoke palette, column 1, row 8). If I try to use pure white it literally washes out all details from the Warframe entirely, even though pure white doesn't have that issue at all with the vast majority of the rest of the game. And this is using the normal colour settings in the options. If you try to use HDR then it makes this issue even worse. If DE is trying to give us a "best case scenario" when it comes to lighting for the arsenal then I get it, but at least give us a couple of different lighting options while we are in the arsenal so we can get a better understanding of what our frames will look like in normal content. And like I said in the title, its not just for the arsenal (although the arsenal is obviously the most important issue). If you go down the right ramp, then there is this monstrosity of a light. And there are a bunch more just like that in the personal quarters.
  11. I run speedva in netracells specifically to speed up the enemies. The amount of people who still don't understand you need to kill things in the red circle is kind of mind blowing to me.
  12. Its going to be YEARS before there is any kind of archon shard bloat, and even then, is it really an issue if 0.1% of the player base has too many shards to use? Thats kind of like asking "whats DE going to do with the endo bloat for all those people who have 500k endo?"
  13. DE doesn't need a weird AI to teach players. they just need to make an actual tutorial that actually teaches players the basics. Like they need to force you to open the arsenal by having ordis say "please go the the indicated location on the ship. this is called the arsenal" "now select your warframe and select the upgrade option" "This is the modding screen, everything can be modded by dragging the mods on the bottom of the screen into the empty slots above" "mods have a cost to install them into gear. You can see how many mod points your gear has left by looking here *highlights the mod points*" " you can increase the amount of mod points your gear has by leveling up your gear, up to a maximum of 30. If you wish to invest further into your gear, you can install a catalyst or reactor to double the amount of mod points available" "you can obtain catalysts and reactors by doing _____, ____, or purchasing them from the market", etc, etc. All while forcing you to follow along by installing certain mods, applying a free reactor to your starting frame, etc. And do that for literally every one of the basic mechanics of the game, like the mod inventory, companions, foundry, navigation, helminth (once its unlocked), codex, etc. And there should be a little "?" icon on every screen that lets you go through the tutorial again should you ever need to. Yes it is very hand holdy, but warframe is a game that desperately needs to hold new players hands for a while, because there is just WAY too much stuff going on for new players to understand. The amount of times iv seen a new player start the game and be just completely overwhelmed because they have been taught literally no information on even the most basic mechanics is infuriating, all because DE has refused to implement an actual proper tutorial, not just for the basics of the game, but even for new mechanics that are added. Where if you dont read the patch notes, or watch dev streams, then you're just S#&$ out of luck. And when it comes to returning players, there really should be something similar to the "update #__" button in the start menu. But instead its a "Since you last played" button that gives you a brief summery of all the updates that have dropped since you last played, how to access those updates, some of the rewards for for doing the content in those updates, and a link to the full patch notes for each update they missed. It would give returning players a good idea of what they have missed, and how to catch up, without forcing them to come to the forums to ask the community, or look up all the patch notes on the wiki.
  14. why are you phrasing this like its a binary option? DE should be doing both. And just because you and a bunch of others have survivorship bias, doesn't mean that its not an issue that should be tackled. For every 1 player that plays the game again after 2-3+ years and figures it out by going to the forums or looking up videos, there are probably 10 other players that try to hop back into the game only to be frustrated and quit because they have 0 clue of whats going on or what their next step should be, and its not worth their time when they can go play a different game that isn't asking so much of them.
  15. I can not confirm either, but i think I remember one of the devs saying something in passing about prime noggles changing as well. Wouldn't surprise me if they only offer them for regal aya in the shop, which would be pretty S#&$ty.
