Tried verifying files, didn't help. Launcher would start, attempt for a second checking for new updates, crash, restart, over and over until I manually shut the process

Swazdo-lah, since the last hotfix I seem unable to get in-game. Launcher launches, checks for update, shuts down. Restarts, same thing. It shuts down within a second or two. I play Warframe on Steam, if that helps anyhow. I found similar issue being resolved by a workaround requiring replacing some files as per @[DE]Momaw, but file advised seems to be deleted from server. Anyone else having similar issue?

Launcher seems completely broken since the Hotfix. So, that's a first for me. Launcher keeps turning on, checking for files, crash. Repeat. Similar to this:

Swazdo-Lah fellow Tenno and [DE]vs! I just wanted to touch on the Unforseen Consequences mentioned in alignment of economy between platforms to one standard. One thing that became a huge concern of mine is the following: There is a huge disparity between how Discount Vouchers given by their Highness Ordis and RNG function on PC and consoles. As we know, PC discount is for the Platinum purchase, while Consoles get one use only for one market pack that costs platinum. So PC gets cheaper plat to purchase while console gets a cheaper purchase for plat they have. This is a HUGE difference and main reason why I abandoned my Xbox account in favour of PC. Can we get clarification on how this will be addressed so I can bully Ordis to stock up on plat before the inevitable? As a player, how do you feel about the potential prospects of losing this classic offering? How could this be addressed?

In almost every business decision, there is a margin for "error" that has a backup plan prepared (read as "we know we will piss people off, if it gets out of hand use plan B"). Hence Platinum for the rescue. If you look holistically at the trends of packs over time, they were slowly branching out a second offering alongside Prime Packs as Supporter Packs for quite a while now. There still exists culture of vets and advanced players screaming at Bambis to NOT spend initial plat on any of the great Darvo deals or other things that prey on lack of knowledge of game systems and obtaining gear etc. This is no different, this is merely an evolution to already established path that won't change. It's hard for me to admit, but we have lost this one. I won't get toxic with Devs because in majority they are not responsible for decisions made and in my belief are doing absolute best to deliver their vision of the game that stands strong with it's art, systems and expansive lore. I want to thank every single one of you for doing great work and delivering experience that over past 10 years delivered great moments in gaming for me. I hope I can continue to support Warframe beyond this sour choice, but if I fall off being your target audience, so be it.

DE also has a strong history of: a) making uncalculated decisions with intention to "iron out" b) using first time users as guinea pigs and testing grounds c) backpedaling on decisions due to community response Been here long enough to witness all of the above and it seems, enough people remember certain decisions and situations that helped save direction game was heading (paid revives, alert system, leveling mods with duplicates, grinding T4 to death etc. etc.) We as community have obligation to react to decisions they make and help them navigate. No need to be hostile, but we need to be firm with what we will tolerate.

Duviri was essentially a mechanics test to see if can be fully fledged. Problem is that OG Devs grew tired of Warframe and it was pretty visible from all this disconnected content that was being released for past 3-4 years. I'm glad they can focus on new passion project and relieve Warframe from their desperate search for anew.

I am genuinely dreading what new marketing tactics and payment options would raise with the dawn of Warframe Mobile. Enjoy TennoLive Voltage, I hope for a sliver of redemption.

In all fairness, this could be the ripple effect of terrible predatory monetization choices making waves through the industry. Looking at you Diablo Immortal, Overwatch 2, LoL, pretty much all F2P's right now. Only hope that it bites back hard enough that consideration and respect for consumers comes back. As usual, vote with your wallets people.

This. Specifically THIS. I am ready to slap £20 for two Heirloom 10 Years Anniversary skins. Give me this as an option. Without trying to fatten the bundle up with empty calories.

I did just that. My issue primarily lies with the fact that it is a Purchasable Package for an actual currency, not in-game currency, laced with time-ticking FOMO. This breaks the usual flow of pricing for newly released content and seems to be bloated with unwanted items to further justify the price. I am not saying this because I sleep on plat (I have 3p as we speak) but the sheer direction this points to locking out the possibility to earn this by playing directly contradicts for me the idea of Warframe. That being said, it is the game that relies on Prime Access to fund itself and I can understand the thinking behind putting together a special 10 Year Anniversary bundle like this. I just don't see the value.

The real question is, even if I decided to purchase, how quickly will these auras and "exclusivity" become obsolete? A similar thing happened with previously glorified cosmetics that were tossed away the moment the shinier options came out. I just can't see any justification for purchase on any level... Exclusivity? Uncertain due to possible future expansions. FOMO? This has been softened to a degree by Prime Resurgence and the angry mob that missed out previously. Supporting Devs? Been doing so for the last 10 years playing this game. Really shameful. Especially on the day "celebrating" fanbase and achievements.

I am so glad you made this topic, that was my first reaction and immediate instinct to talk about it on the forum. I guess we are celebrating 10 years of registered losers that can be milked. I have 70% of all prime cosmetics. All pallets. 80% of Tennogen. I have spent a fair share. But even as a fashionista, I cannot justify paying THAT price. This is laughable and worryingly, if this is the future of Warframe I might as well go back to playing everything else. Shame that we are getting huge FOMO alongside this price tag as well. This alongside mediocre Deluxe skins (that Yareli reveal was met with... silence) doesn't reinforce my faith in the decisions that have been made.

I assume you became a Nekros main since last post (; To add to discussion and not leave just small necroposting jokes: I farm usually with 1 Khora, 2 Nekros and 1 Speedva, so far the results are the best. But when solo farming for Dojo decorations, Khora and few hours of podcasts are my way to go. If it isn't an intense farm to finish my room I Nekros and chill.
