    I would personally enjoy something like this for open worlds scenarios, since a lot of.times while I have 90fps in regular missions, open worlds tanks my GPU and drop me on the 45/50s.

    An option to actually have this FPS reduction being elimimated by keeping image quality instead of instablurring it would be great.

    Specially because it will replace TAA that sucks compared to FSR2.0 or DLSS in terms of both final output image quality AND performance.

    FSR and DLSS both require DX12 so until the migration is completed, no dice. DE has been doing a lot of fixing, tweaking and changing regarding DX12 in the game for the past year. I'm not sure why they're so invested in it, but hopefully implementing modern technologies is one of the reasons. Meanwhile they've mentioned that crossplay (and crossave?) is their current priority.

    Myscho is right, an option for higher than 100% res scaling or SSAA would be much better and make more sense unless were gonna get another render engine update that adds ray tracing or something stupid along those lines.

    The first statement is just naive, there's not only gaming computers on the market. Consumers don't necessarily buy gaming laptops and/or PC with decent GPUs, all while integrated graphics are basically in every computer.

    That's great that you can enjoy good performance but not everyone is on the same boat, higher resolution scaling improves game quality for systems that allow it, it worsens performance which is the exact opposite of what FSR is built for.

  3. Those are some nice changes.

    I would personally suggest to remove certain confirmation boxes of actions that delay the said action compared to the UI before it was changed, I just feel like it necessarily slows players down. Or at least make it an opt-in kinda thing.

  5. A lot of players are having trouble with the loading screens, I figured at first that verifying and optimizing the cache (multiple times) would fix it but it seems to be unrelated. Sometimes (maybe a third/fourth of the time for me) regardless of where I travel (Ex: relay, PoE, mission etc.) the bar in the loading screen loads and the game never starts, the loading screen doesn't disappear and sometimes I hear the battle or mission sounds. The only way to get rid of it is to force close the game and restart. I haven't tried this in solo. We can all wait for a fix, I just hope DE knows about the issue.

    I just found out about this thread and you people are some artists, amazing work!! For me at least it seems amazing xd I'm horrible at attempting to create music with the mandachord, it usually sounds like crying baby seals. I'm trying to make something at 0:49 and 2.39 out of this:

    It seems a fairly simple melody but I just can't make anything sound right, music creating is not friends with me pahahaha I'm not sure if it's even achievable, can anyone help? xD

    I'm having issues in connecting to other players a few days after the update.

    All of the chat tabs (including private ones) work just fine like they ever did.

    However when I accept an invite from players (tested multiple times during the day) this is what happens:

    I get a loading "Please Wait..." screen and then it disappears and nothing happens.

    After further testing, I came to the conclusion that the same thing happens after attempting to join public squads in mission nodes as in:

    After more testing, I discovered that there were no tenno in the Relays or Maroo's bazar despite the chat working fine.

    I optimized and verified the game cache from the launcher, checked my network, disabled DirectX10 & 11, tunned down graphics settings, updated my drivers to the latest version and nothing works...

    This is very frustrating because I can't play and I don't know what to do, just yesterday everything was working fine, should I consider reinstalling?

    I play on a laptop here are my specs:

    Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6200U CPU @ 2.30GHz up to 2.80Ghz

    GPU: NVidia GeForce 940mx with dedicated 2 GB VRAM

    RAM: 8 GB

    System type: Windows 10 64-bit

  9. This information should have been available to users a long time ago.

    You knew dataminers existed and took their work to your advantage DE, now that something that shouldn't have happened, happened, and the community didn't respond well to your actions, you hurry to build your own "numbers" to include in the game when this crucial feature should have been implemented long ago. In my opinion, this gives you no right to put the blame on datamining which helped your players including me.

    Otherwise, I'm happy and grateful for the ongoing work into the issue, just hope you don't put so much blame on datamining and that it doesn't take too long to add this feature since the unvaulting of mag and rhino is due in a month.
