How could Empyrean be divided into even smaller updates ? It was frustrating enough having a non-flyable ship in the first part.

Also, it's incredible to see all the "DE doesn't polish the core game or connects multiple gameplays" comments when it was the announced purpose of Empyrean part 3, yet everone acts like part 2 is the last thing we'll ever have and the game is doomed. Yeah, Empyrean is quite glitchy in its current state (network is hard and can't be entirely figured out in intern), but it had to be released one day. Given the sheer size of the update, I'm at least willing to see it in its entirety (part 3 included) before giving a definitive judgment.

Its as if this game were in beta, and all the updates we're supposed to be tested by some sort of community.
Its a cheap cop out to call your game a beta for 6 years, yet move to platforms where bugs are heavily discouraged.
This game shouldn't be classified in any way to excuse the development team. Its not like they cant play their updates themselves.
Honestly bugs at this point should be minor and easily ignored.
DE is like the toxic clone of Bethesda at this point.

  2. Got a host migration, kicked into a squad by myself.
This happened when there was only 2 enemy fighters left, and all mission objectives completed.
Host migration hits, Im 25km away from railjack, objectives reset, and #*!% me.

I've waited since Fortuna teaser at E3 for this. Thanks

30 minutes of slowly killing everything because host sucks, and had literally the weakest guns I've ever used. Only to get this.

I'm sorry, but i agree completely... !! In fact, making one of the requisites to play Erra be rank 7 in the ship of Railjack, or something like that, it's like... couldn't they just make it simple and make possible to players that don't care about Railjack and/or Empyrean play the quest... ? i don't know if i can be invited by a group into their ship and be taken to the Sentient Ghost Ship to crush the crystal, if that makes possible to jump the requisites, hey... i'll like it, if not... well... i don't know when i'll play the quest then...

you can I did it last night

By the time they might update it that far, they might want to redo the whole orbiter again 🙃

Yeah those are for the upgrade modules, Navigation, Incubator, Kavat Incubation etc.

Those panels are supposed to retract and hide out of sight when you don't have an upgrade module to install (and the arsenal is supposed to open when you use it like before the redesign), but the animations broke a few weeks ago and DE is too busy firefighting railjack bugs to fix it.

    Damn
    Well Railjack in piece

I kinda wonder why they went with a hard visual for the upgrade slots.

Seems like it would have been less work now/in the future if they only had one visible slot that would accept an upgrade module and then retract to "install" it ejecting it's gaping maw await the next upgrade. Then having a menu somewhere in the UI that would display which upgrades the user actually had installed.

Cause now if they go to a 4th level of upgrade they have to totally redesign the visuals, again.

Wait are these slots actually used for something?

WOW...wow... take it easy. eshhh .. in all seriousness take a look at the OP pervious post with other topics and you will see the lack of constructiveness, DE apparently deleted there post as well. anyway i'm done here. Good day

I read his post, he made some fairly decent points. The only issue is he called out steve directly? Thats an oof. Who cares who he called out. He literally called out the director of the project? The main man in charge?
am I missing something, was there another post? Because that one seemed tame enough. Director has to take responsibility for their project at the end of the day, he was just directing his issues towards steve.

If this were an actual beta id say thats a fair point to make, unfortunately they hyped an update to capitalize at TGA then released a buggy mess and went sorry it broke well fix it later right before Xmas break. From a beta build you can get away with it, but a released game? that would usually indicate a dodgy studio decision or really bad planning on the dev teams part.

So him *@##$ing about a whole bunch of things related to game progression, micro transaction stuff and a lack of actual variety in content on a Major update is toxic???

Complaining about those things in any services platform is usually what happens on a forum, and does cause people to leave. SUggestions might have made it more palatable 4 u to stomach but someone *@##$ing about stuff that doesn't look right is generally the first point of fixing it

This is the offtopic, he could leave it in feedback or bug reports. Or add it to a mega thread then head out. One gone isnt visible, but if enough people leave DE would notice and make whatever seems to be the prominent issue top priority. This at the end of the day really was just a flame post to bait

Sorry this is a weak argument, some people complain just because they are toxic. Are there things that can be improved with the game  ? absolutely, will posting " why i'm leaving " help..nope..not one bit. Also look at his/her previous post and how long he/she has been playing.. this person only wanted to draw attention.

    Yeah I agree with this^
I love warframe to death, but I also heavily criticize it and hold it up to heavy scrutiny more that other games because It's proven to have the potential to be the greatest (in my opinion) game I've ever played. I post bug reports, talk about lore and theories on how it could come together, and yes I complain... A lot. But yeah this isn't productive or really constructive in any way.

  9. Listen, you're not doing anything special here. Check steam charts when warframe drops and update? Tons of people come back check it out, then leave.
But on a side note, I think its very shady of DE to have Railjack stuff on the market so blatantly pay to win style.
To drop an update so buggy, and then try to extort your players because you know they love your product 😕 sad time

What you're talking about is exactly why the game seems that way for seasoned players but is very difficult for new players. You have everything as a warframe but that took YEARS to do. Railjack is literally the fresh start vets asked for, with now a ton of things to do and a new progression system with mods. After awhile, your experience will get you back to op mode just like the warframes.

The hardest part about it is that right out of the gate level 1 with a fresh virgin railjack, you cant solo it easily without having to hide your railjack. It just seems the enemies are scaled way too hard.

Archwing brings a taste of Payday to Warframe.  Our ability spam won't win us the day out here.  Everyone works in tandem to keep the ship running and bringing down the enemy ships.  Issues like scaling, objective variety, equipment repair costs, people refining everything before spending it on restocking munitions/revolite/domes (you know who you are) still need work, but by and large this is an element of play the game sorely needed.  Of course people are going to be unhappy with it - they're used to spamming a key and basically going AFK because they became untouchable while the other three players were just there to up enemy spawn count.

Idk, DE kinda did this to themselves. They built up the idea that warframes are these all powerful beings in that they can't be killed unless someone steals their oro. So they're undying, unending, and all powerful. Then they want to tone it down? It sends mixed messages really. But yeah some adjustments to make it seem more balanced would help. Compare Earth missions to a new player, still beatable with the weapons they give you, and the quest is mean't to be played alone since you're the lone tenno. Now take railjacks earth missions, even the first one is a hassle to a fresh new Railjack. And that's not even talking about doing it solo. I found the abandon ship method to work best for solo'ing.
ALTHOUGH! I noticed that even if you park your railjack (for example like I did) 25k meters away, sometimes Enemy ships spawn near it. So there's that.

It involves so much more teamwork. Just trying to take down one objective or crew ships always takes a bit of teamwork, keeping the ship dodging and shooting while maintaining health, so on and so forth. Going lone wolf and archwinging it only gets you so far and honestly I like it that way. Granted, I feel like archwings should be a bit more disruptive but there’s room to improve ofc. Great update imo.

Yeah I'd like the teamwork too, but my current internet (very rural and cuts on and off) is preventing this from being fun.
But the main reasons you state are some of the reasons people hate it. I feel like a good balance for both solo players and teams should be made. This idea that "Solo is possible but will be very hard" isn't very appealing to a large portion of mostly solo players.

Don't get me wrong, I agree with you. I personally wish we had a "Host Kick" option for general lobbies, as well as host veto on picking missions. The problem is that DE are absolutely allergic to giving anyone on the team unequal privileges, even if they paid for the ship, host all the AI on their machine and put the team together themselves. As such, don't expect to see the Railjack act any different. I'm just saying that AS LONG AS everyone on the crew will be treated the same, then we can't let random pubbies solo-vote on the next mission and choose for the entire team with not even an appeal to consensus.

Yeah every scrub that joins you is a precious equal in the eyes of DE
:T God forbid you did something to another player that causes them dissatisfaction. Meanwhile DE is slapping us across the face with this heaping load of garbage, and you still see white knights rushing to their defense.
