In a game where movement is a key aspect of the gameplay, I don't see this as a valid suggestion.  Using the racing analogy again that's like saying "if you don't want to slam into a wall when cornering due to the Nitrous randomly activating, then just complete the race going 40 km/h".

That's fine, but options should be made available.  Some of us can make it through the environment faster without Speed than with it.  4-5 years of muscle memory will do that to you.  With Speed however, unless you're the one using the ability there's no way to truly build muscle memory for it because you can't guarantee how much Power Strength the Volt is using.

I honestly still don't like this solution.  You'll still get people casting the ability right on top of you (it happens to me with a friendly Limbo dodging/dashing) meaning you again have to remove the ability from you... which in order to keep your velocity somewhat the same (using velocity because it includes both speed and direction) you have to turn 180 degree, do a handspring and then turn another 180 degrees.  It's just awkward.  At least with Limbo your movement doesn't get buggered and the means to remove it is to simply tap the shift key.  Plus if the Volt/Limbo/Wisp is following the same optimal path through a tile as you then chances are you're going to run into their 'Ability Landmark' more than a few times in a mission, and more often in endless missions such as Survival.  Giving the player a way to opt out of the ability's effects all together wouldn't only be a better way to avoid frustration from those who dislike the ability (for the above reasons), it'll probably also be easier for DE to implement as a simple Boolean check, then If/Else statement each time the ability is cast.

tbh there is not a single problem with volt's 2 and getting a speed buff. i gave you the option to opt in and out and you are still crying. you just want something to cry about. there are many more things like volt's speed in the game that can be cried about yet people dont cry. please try to tolerate the exitence of other people.

Yes, because some of us don't like randomly (from our perspective) having our movement changed by an unknown amount.  Think of it like playing a street racer game where you don't have control over the activation of your Nitrous, and the Nitrous gives you an unknown boost in speed that changes from race to race.  Some might say it's a strange comparison, but I think it's apt given how much Warframe relies on movement to feel satisfying.

you can always just stop sprinting if its too fast to you. but i still dont get why people dont like it. i just cant play without buffed movement speed, its too slow. my suggestion tho i think would be fine for most players. it would be something like wisp's speed buff, at least the way you aquire it

  3. people still cry about getting faster?

a fix could be to make him only cast it for himself and leave a cloud behind that allies can touch to recieve the speed for its remaining duration.

id like to see him getting a bit faster base move speed.

his 1 also should have a "held" option where you keep firing lightning at enemies like we seen in the cinematic trailer or by the sith lord.

i would also like to see a change to his passive: charges way faster but the cap is 500 only.

his transistor shield augment should remove the speed debuff and the energy cost on carrying shields.

his capaticante augment should charge the shields of sentinels and companions.

his 2 should buff holster speed too and give fire rate to semi auto guns while also removing that cancerous jamming mechanic.

Yeah, didn't mention this but asside from higher DPS, Arch-weapons are also overall easier to use, which reduce even more the use of Railjack weapons.

From my experience and calculations, Arch-weapons tend to be much better than Raijack weapons, at least Phaedra and Cyngas with radiation full status / firerate buildsn even with the drawback projectile speed is.

idk what im doing wrong then. i build my phaedra correctly and deal >50 dmg/hit

  5. i main volt and i think he is one of the best-made frames but i would make his shield not slow him when carried and maybe not even drain energy. id make his ult cast time shorter and his 1 should be able to be held for continous shocking

It's not really about gitting gud. I am disabled, and I to have issue with guns that require me to S#&$ the shoulder buttons quickly or for a long duration as well. I would like an option to make that key kinda like a turbo button, just so i can use more them auto fire or beam weapons. Being on PS4, I don't even have the option of macros.

i dont really care. i was here to make a joke
