  1. Pvp in warframe could be amazing and fun if done right. I'd like to see something similar to the solar rail, dark sector battles. No mods on weps-frames. Instead reward power or wep damage with a pick-up or a certain type of kill for so many seconds. I've also said in the past that if DE brought the bigger squad back, a regular map would be great. I was thinking similar to battlefield and the conquest or rush modes.

All that says is you spent 30 - 40 mins in a mission, went and looked in trade chat and went on another mission. You got back and took the picture. Yes, it seems odd that it could happen like that, but certainly not impossible. I don't doubt what you are saying is true though.

Here is a thread with what seems like a similar issue: Link I will spoiler the relevant bit. Basically, check your privacy settings in XBLive.

[UPDATE: If anyone finds this thread in a similar situation, check your Xbox privacy settings. I must have made a change after someone kept inviting me on Call of Duty or something because I set a toggle which stopped people not on my actual friends list from sending messages or invites. That's usually a great thing to have on, but when you play Warframe, the chat gets the same consideration and all of it gets blocked!]

Yeah chat don't work like that tho, unless this was the only person posting period. But hopefully that day never comes..however I came here to post that I had figured it out. It was xb live settings.. figured it out earlier today when I created another account and everything worked as it should.

So thank you as well for the link..

Those might be forum strikes. I don’t know if you can see in-game ones anywhere.

You should check your live subscription. You require that for online interactions. Have you asked your clan/friends about it? If it’s doing the same for them it might just be a temporary issue.

    • Your image doesn’t really show anything. This is what you’d expect if the chat was going slow and you were running missions.

The image is while in my orbiter. Live is good- if it wasn't I wouldn't beven able to even play wf or any online game. Also look at time stamps on the post. And yes I've asked everyone if they're experiencing any issues with chat and nobody else is.

  4. My problem is for almost a week now I haven't seen any activity in chat except for friends or clan members. 1st couple days I thought chat was down. Then when I saw clan/friends in chat I thought wth is going on. So I thought chat ban? But if this were the case which not likely, I wouldn't have access to any chat. So I went to wf site to see if I had any strikes. Zero!

As I expected- so wth is this? How to fix? And if your experiencing this speak up..

Ok so I've looked, searched this to no end and have come to dead ends. I've seen forum post on here posted throughout the yrs  with this very same issue, but no answers, no solutions.. so am I just screwed from chatting or trading with non clan-friends?  https://1drv.ms/u/s!Ahdnuvj9Gx6dhFnHqnZaDEfvzkYU?e=QeMhPB

I believe it's a damn shame when one has 14 or 15 liches under their belt with only FIVE different weapons. It's ridiculous to me, really. While the same weapon cannot repeat over and over again, that was a band-aid change to an inherently broken system. Why doesn't the initial unit you kill just hold the weapon that they wield as a lich? How is it possible that I get a repeat of Kohm, Stubbas, Kohm, Stubbas, Kohm, Stubbas, Ayunga, Kohm, Chakkur, Kohm?

I love Warframe, but my patience wanes under the weight of a game that doesn't reward me for my time.

    Just had to vent, really.

Ive taken out around 15 with 4 being converted due to already haVing that weap. Now idk if this a coincidence but I tend to use many many frames in my runs. So the 4 dups I got, I was running that same Frame as before. Try another frame & see.

Since forma was introduced in update 8 (May 23rd 2013) 7 years ago the method for obtaining forma and the time for building it have remained the same while the need for forma has ballooned exponentially.

Just this year alone we have had the added forma costs of:

    • 65 forma to master 13 lich weapons
    • 1 forma per weapon for weapon exilus and often an additional forma to fix the native polarity

and we already have the burden of the following:

    • 41 forma to build every room in the dojo once
    • 69 (nice) forma for weapons
    • 5 forma to master the paracesis
    • 4 forma per aura forma
    • 1 forma for djin
    • 2 forma per exilus adapter
    • 1 forma per greater lens

Then there is the forma for completing weapons and warframe builds on top of that. Not everyone is going to build or forma everything but we now have:

    • 70 warframes
    • 388 weapons
    • 24 companions
    • 17 sentinel weapons
    • 5 archwings
    • 19 archweapons
    • 23 modular weapons
    • 7 kdrive/moa

Forma needs more locations where it can be found, drastically reduced craft times or both. The game has gotten bigger with more and more items and forma sinks. It's time forma was given a good hard look.

I've been saying for the longest that we should at the very least have to ability to craft in bundles. If I've got 25 forma and want to craft all and wait the 24hrs then I'd be cool with that. Or maybe limit it to 5 at a time Idk but yes it's pretty annoying and mostly where all my plat goes.

I think the reason you hear about it with Corrosive Projection is the simple fact that it becomes more useful the more people in the squad have it. Particularly the jump from two to three in a squad is immense - that third CP changes the entire game. Like, one is a free corrosive proc, and that's great, and two is better than halving enemy health, but then that third, you can stop thinking about armor strip entirely....

I used to use Energy Siphon until I got Energizing Dash, then switched to Sprint Boost. Then Amalgam Serration happened, and stacking another 15% sprint speed on top of that and Rush seemed like diminishing returns in most cases. I only use Enemy Radar in Index, since my companions have Primed Animal Instinct. Growing Power is a nice little bonus for exalted weapons - pity those are themselves in an awful place right now. I use Swift Momentum when I'm going all-in on melee and want to use that Drifting Contact slot for something else on the weapon. I haven't played with Shepherd, but that armor bonus looks really, really nice, since it would allow me to use pets with frames that don't themselves have armor.

So the short version is that at some point I actually started taking aura forma seriously, which was very weird! (All other auras are trash and should be the object of mockery and scorn.)

Growing power is a nice little bonus for exalted weps.. Lol- I would also add that status weapons benefit other frames as well. Also I'd add that these other auras are beneficial as well

Combat discipline(in co-op)-Empowered blades-infested impedance when running peaceful prov. on infested enemies.-Emp aura is actually effective esp combined with coaction drift -mecha Empowered +set is amazing- all amp mods lol cause who don't want more damage & again coaction increases the effectiveness of these auras.. Shepherd is great but only with frames that have high armor, link mods.. aerodynamic is great as well for those who like to move around alot & is a nice touch to the proton, aero & motus sets.. bye

For anything. Yeah, I know, enemy armor scaling can lead to some pretty beefy enemies but it's not like we dont have plenty of weapons (and frames) that can deal with high armor by either stripping it or bypassing it completely. I get that the effective damage bonus is nice, but I've joined several squads where somebody is demanding (or asking more politely, sometimes) that we all switch our auras like they think the whole squad is gonna get merked if we dont stack at least 3 of them.

And usually the guy harping about it is mastery rank 25+ and presumably, should know how to get around armor without it. (I know MR isnt indicative of skill but still..)

I can kinda understand if you're gonna be doing a 4 hour endurance run or something but I've seen this happen In 30-60 minute kuva survivals and railjack missions.

I'll take whatever aura mod suits me thank you very much.

1st of all not everyone plays public or in a squad and 2nd not every frame has armor stripping abilities. You obviously haven't played long enought to know how important armor removal is. Otherwise this post wouldn't exist. an experienced player would know the importance of cp. Ya know cp. Stacks with other squad members lol & combined with coaction drift, we'll you seem to know it's only for 4+ hrs runs- it co-op!

New players that have a couple hundred hrs should really stop with the "I know everything" I see it in chat, forums, youtube ect.. just stop..  and just to clarify what weapons have armor stripping capabilities? Oh yeah all of them but ya gotta mod for what? Corrosive! Ya pRob knew that tho.. exactly why Ive played solo for 4yrs, unless it's clan or coordinated.

  9. Well you can definitely blame that on either lack of knowledge or just plain ignorance..I don't know why people are so scared to use other weapons in this game.. it's absolutely pathetic really. Lol I think I've got about 80 rivens and ya know what, They're all used by me. Yes the weapons become more limited as you get higher in enemy level but in all seriousness how many actually spend more than 10-20min in a mission?  I'm guessing not many. So what's the point of using weapons modded for level 100+ especially when your in a squad of 4.  lame

  10. Like I said there'd definitely be more work going into your items but in my opinion, would be so much better. With the polarity staying the same on all 3 configurations, your forced to build a certain way especially when dealing with the umbral mods.

For example, on my chroma prime I had config1  with all 3 umbra mods with only 1 forma. I wasn't paying attention when I was setting my config2 when adding another forma. So I can no longer use the 3 umbral mods as it was previously modded. Now I'm forced to build 3 configs slightly different.

I would much rather have 3 true options to build my stuff than 3 slightly different versions.

    https://1drv.ms/u/s!Ahdnuvj9Gx6dhDEHFAfHaJ2_HEJ8

  11. Was sitting here adjusting my mods & moving polarities around when I realized I didn't need a polarity that I forma'd  in a while back. Then it dawned on me.. Why can't each configuration be independent? I mean it be a little more complaining from the people who claim to have nothing to do, or maybe the 1's complaining about idk something. But I'd love to have 3 completely different ways to mod my toolbox. 😉

I do have to agree on this one, partially because it also demonstrates my point. WoF was a low-level nuke that required 0 input to achieve what it needed to achieve. Instead of reworking the power so it wasn't that, they just nerfed it.

Surprise surprise, that didn't make Ember any more fun, it just made her worse.

Wrong on so many lvls. . How is she worse? Bc u can't hit 4 & stand there doing nothing for however long.? Or hit 4 & kill every enemy while still doing nothing.? Hmm funny how I can run 1hr survivals & use her abilities just fine. She's fun, effective & damn good at killin sh*t. Her 4 wasn't meant to be a magnet for lazy gamers.

Condition Overload, Blood Rush, Memeing Strike - those aren't the problem. All the power in the world doesn't matter if you don't hit the target - or more accurately, if this happens: Image result for indiana jones shoots swordsman gif

The problem isn't the mods as much as it is the 'Melee' weapons that completely disregard that point. Things like Atterax that produce a 15m death forcefield, or Zaws that outrange shotguns. I'd go so far as to say the Gram Prime is balanced because of its short range. Again: guns are in this game. Enemies will shoot you from far outside that range.

But, somebody might point out, they obviously won't, since OP had gotten to enemies of that level already. I'll counter by pointing out that they're using Nidus - a frame famous for being really, really damn tanky, and downright immortal to some level. It might be less that the CO is op, and more that the Immortality is disabling Melee weapon's fundamental drawback.

Melee weapons hitting really hard at melee range isn't OP. Melee weapons hitting really hard at gun range when you're also unkillable, on the other hand...

You obviously have no clue wth your talking about bc 1 there are frames far more tanky than nidus. Like trinity, nova, harrow, garuda. Just to name a few. Stop complaining about things that have no real issue. #1 reason I quit watching wf videos and coming to this cess pool. Isn't nothing but a bunch of irrelevant complaints about nonsense. I'm ready to delete my profile of 3+ years not bc of the game but bc of this virus that's spreading throughout the community. New players who've maybe put in a couple hundred hours now seem to know everything about the game & really they little or nothing. I came here looking for 1 thing & this bs slapped me square in the face. The only evil power that needs to be stopped is the ppl like yourself.  there are only 2 melee weapons in the entire wf universe that can possibly out range a shotgun.#1 redeemer #2 Sarpa. No other melee can surpass them.

  14. There is no particular weapon.. If the armor was stripped then you'd notice at least an increase in damage. I have never stripped armor & a tusk bull goes down fairly easy, the regular thumper depending on the situation atm can typically go down in about a min. No warframe abilities,  just primary or secondary  with high puncture and rad. Switching between operator & frame is primarily my tactics.

    Hey Tenno,

So I found a decent method of killing thumpers which involves AW, but my issue is that I’m not dealing enough damage to quickly take them out. I use a stripping Sarpa but it still takes a while. Any weapon suggestions? Both primary and secondary

       Thank you

I actually feel garuda is one of the better designed warframe. The past few frames for all their flaws feel like they are trying to tone down the easy access to extremely powerful utility and clearing.

Though for all the things i like she does have her problems.

    1. Cast speed is way too low. I can understand that they have a lot of risk and reward for garuda but the cast speed just leaves you too vulnerable when everything you do suffers from it. It mostly just feels bad when you want to quickly set things up to offset the more risky moves since you cast a lot.

    2. Other frames are still super easy to play. This makes what garuda does obsolete. None of what she does is inherently bad, its quite strong, kts just inefficient. I love her but never really want a garuda with me in a team comp because there are other frames that can just do the whole healing and damage thing in a more benefitial way. Only time shes neccesary is at levels so high youd have to be insane or so content starved to want to regularly attempt it.

    3. If slash procs every get a change in how they work to make them less effective she will lose a significant amount of power. On the same note enemies who are bleed immune just shut you down damage wise.

So yeah, for efficiency sake shes not the greatest option by any means. But her playstyle is unique and well madrein a way that has me engaged more than any warframe ive played up to this point. I rarely end up using 4 abilities on a warframe so when one comes out that works so well with all 4 abilities I find it much more exciting.

First off, he whole set gives you what you put in and then some. Most other warframes you just use your abilities for whatever their general purpose is and they do what they are supposed to. Garudas abilities reward vigilance and understanding and managing risk.

You have enough armor to easily tank light units but you always have to be on the lookout for heavies. For the first time in a while i felt like i was using spatial awareness and listening for enemies to keep myself alive. Focusing on proper threats to take them out first so you can resume the carnage is something i like. Also just telling melee units to shoo and watch them keep walking into my shield is always a riot, wolf is just standing there flailing away 5 feet away like im pushing him away at an arms length as he tries to awing at my body fruitlessly.

With your heal, especially when stacked, you can survive so much more than jist your raw ehp can handle with proper use of your shield. Some might get worried as their hp drops but the higher healing on low HP can allow you to stay in the fight so much longer if you can properly understand how powerful that boosted low hp heal is and stay calm. Quick thinking whether built for it or not is a great failsafe.

Her 4th is one of my favorite ability for the sheer amount of interactions and outside the box thinking you can do with it. Since bleed is strongest with super high pure base damage as well as critical hits you can do so much weird stuff. Operator paired with garuda can be quite amusing, mark a whole crowd of enemies and pop out operator, spit 2 proppa nukes, let the 9k base and crit obliterate enemies with no self damage to you since its considered from the operator and not the frame.

Other things like thunderbolt/concealed explosives can actually be quite okay turning your ult into a buff that lets you clear enemies. My personal favorite though is acid shells. 15 meter explosion that damages an enemy with a bleed proc coming from a hit thats 45% + 450 base is dang strong and enemies killed from acid shells bleed spreads acid shells too!

This just gives garuda so much versatility in your arsenal so long as enemies can be bled. An operator with that burst fire prism basicslly lets you run any array of short range weapons since you can pop out and use that burst fire for massive bleed within 60m. The opticor beam works well too. If all we got was that horribly mundane aoe blender shed be nowhere near as interesting overall. It really speaks to who plays this warframe when thats the kind of ability they want for her over what we got.

Her passive is pretty solid too. Its multaplicative and a generic damage increase so even 50% can scale bleeds really high from weapons or warframe abilities. I do wish you could more regularly take advantage of it like giving you a boost for the lowest your hp was within X seconds so you can whip your health to 0 and get back up so you can do some burst. Hitting 2 hp is already a sharp risk as is since you cant sit next to too many blood altars without being unable to hit 2 hp.

I just find her extremely enjoyable and very survivable if you take the time to get decent at using her abilities. Sure you can do way more with many warframes by just hitting a button but theres still room for warframes that require a more thoughtful approach which reward you for being able to play with the entire kit effectively.

Nothing feels better than being in a narrow 1 way hallway and just mowing down enemies with a huge machine gun as they physically cant do anything to get tou.

    Well said 👍👍

The change to her #4 is the single most disappointing alteration to her. Some people may like it, but not me. The cool whirling blades ability is gone forever. I didn't even get to try it. People say her new #4 is used to take on high level enemies with slash, but in reality she lacks good defense option to let her safely charge her ult. I often have to get bullet spray in the face to use it (same problem with Hydroid btw). Her #3 healing is so weak she can't save anyone not even herself. Her 1 is just a poor front shield where as frames with good defense ability like Nezha's warding halo gives 360 degree protection. Let's not lie to ourselves, how many actually use her in sortie? I have plenty fingers left if you want me to count how many I actually saw.

I absolutely love Garuda. I think she's all around well balanced. I've used her on every mission type from lvl 5 thru well over 100.. even keeping myself and my cat alive throughout. Lol the razorback event is going on right now on xb & her weak poor little front shield😉 can damn near 1 shot the razorback. What I think 😤 is maybe learn the frame & get a better understanding of what it's about before running here to complain. Have you used this frame? Or are we just saying what "other people" are sayin.?

Cause what I know is from My experience with this frame & can say my success can be counted on both hands and feet.

    Personally, I'd enjoy this,

but there are a lot of people in the Warframe community that are a bit slow on the uptake.

The most recent example is Profit Taker, People complain a lot about aaaaaaaltl that knockdown in that fight, because they are incapable of jumping and rolling to avoid knockdowns.

And the problem goes a lot further back.

People also complained about Nullifieres, because they were unable to compute that you just had to quickly get into the bubble and then melee him,

And the Problem goes even further back, there was a time when people complained about Grineer Scorpions and Shockwave MOAS, because they were totallay OP.

    Yes, I'm dead serious.

The peoblem is that there is a very vocal part of the games community which are completly unable to play any kind of reactive gameplay elements. These people will usually then claim that DE is cheesing, because they don't understand what it measn to actually pay attention to what is happening before

& exactly why weve got sht for games today. no story, no real difficulty.., a ton of hand holding. games generally boil down to mostly common sense and basic problem solving  & theres a major shortage these days.

It's a neat idea worth expanding on.

I think it'd be fun if there was a boss fight where you had to do a series of jumps, ducks, dodges if you want to not get hit by an attack pattern.
The closest thing I can think of off the top of my head are the boss fights in Batman: Arkham City.

  19. you do know on xb you can RT to select all. if i can sell 4million credits worth of mods in under a min, then why change something thats not broken.

RB is individual or by 5,10 ect, RT will select all.

but note certain mods wont let you sell all, like companion or sentinal. you have to have at least 1 in inventory.
