  1. Certainly, but its even more comical in this case when they present it as SCAWY END GAME CONTENT and the hardest part is that there aren't enough enemies to kill :|
  2. Netracells artificially stretch mission duration in a most annoying way. At the final "kill enemies in a circle" part game keeps placing the 50% of the circle outside the map boundaries. Warframes AI has artificial stupidity, and tats ok, its a horde shooter their fate is to be evaporated in 2 seconds and respawn. But for the love of god, stop placing the kill zone in an area WHERE YOUR AI LITTERALY CANNOT PATH TO. Even when I convince my squad to hug the wall furthest form room doors, enemies still refuse to come us. You have to go and clean them outside the circle in hopes that next pack will path correctly. Then, you have mandatory drone clearing which means even if you got lucky with mob spawning algorithm, you are gonna have to break it by running out through them! Just place the circle in the centre of the tiles and make it 20% bigger for the love of god, we all know you will not improve the AI, stop artificially dragging this out! *Rewards are terrible as well, but at least I can get lanthorns for Zaruman guns :|
  3. If you don't want the guns, you can choose not to grind for them you know? I only have Kuva Karak cause that's only Kuva gun I care about. I have been waiting for Kuva Argonak & Tenet Dera since they added liches. Some weapons get version, others don't. Seems hardly fair. The same dev workload they dedicated to Archwing, Railjack, Khal, Duviri... Yeah, you will forgive me if I don't trust their judgement on where to allocate resources.
  4. You realize this is not an "OR" situation right? Developing new enemies or giving us a weapon reskin are VERY different asks.
  5. Its not the same. These are systems that were dead on arrival. Because Steeve had shower thoughts and decided to implement some one time dumb idea. Theese are just guns, they keep adding guns, just add guns more easily.
  6. Its been years since we had any Kuva/Tenet weapons. How difficult is it to just slap a new colour scheme, a couple particles and up the Crit and Status chance on a weapon? Call it a content patch! Everyone is happy!
  7. Yes I do, but I have come to terms with accepting a lower level of quality and being less idealistic/hopeful. ( I was once Nyx main ) And realistically, the only thing we can hope for now are number changes, there is zero chance that any substantial change will come now that rework has been announced and demonstrated. Well, lets just say that I'm still traumatized because, I'm pretty sure that "puddle people" are the same people because of who I have to suffer scrolling through "vector pad" on the daily basis. So I have very acute and irritable reaction to people defending "haha, its funnnyyyyyyyy" things to remain in the game as opposed to optimization. But ok for the sake of discussion, with minimal changes I would love to see the following: 1) To have more play with Status effect "cleansing" on Hydroid. Since purifying/healing power of water and all that. Augment for 1 instead of bashing viral, like wo don't have enough of that, should cleanse status effects of allies in the area. Also please make it actual AREA OF EFFECT, not the random hits, leave that as just visual effect :| 2) Slamming enemies into walls with 2 should leave them on the floor for some time before they start coming up, its a tsunami wave for gods sake. 3) Rename the 1 and 3 abilities to something else. He is Hydroid, not Piratoid. *yes, I'm petty like that, fight me!

Yeah this whole thing is just degenerated into discussion of whether puddle is good or bad, which it is not, either good or fun, and I will die on that hill xP I suppose the more fruitful discussion would be: is the rework good? My answer is: meh... I really don't think the "pirate" theme makes any sense in Warframe. I would rather have abyss summoner, with some Cuthulhu vibes to it. Maybe placing a stationary puddle or better - OPEN THE DEPTH OF THE ABYSS - would be a cool ability instead of his 2. Ultimately I thinks it will be a matter of numbers: is Pillage, khm, sorry, pLUnDeR good enough to be a "not die" button. All Warframes need one nowadays and, on paper, it looks to be planned as such. If it succeeds, I will be happy with rework! Because lets be real DE has very little clue of what they are doing so I accept mediocre as a best case scenario. And yes, the state of corrosive is exactly as you say, but look around, nearly all dmg types are useless, so Ill accept this as at least a way to use corrosive
  9. Because Hydroid was my 2nd ever Prime frame, right after volt. Because I got him over 6 years ago and he is 5 forma. Because over the years he has become completely incapable of doing anything the game requires you to do. Because the only way to "Main" him is to sit in a lvl 40 defence/survival in a puddle. And at that point you are playing dress up with dolls and not playing the game. Which you are perfectly allowed to do but that removes your right to complain about actual GAME design.

Here's the thing, 0.8% who are advocating for "fun" also use the frame in question to meme once a month, and the rest of the time they ALSO run the meta because games tedious grind requires efficiency and speed. While I see that this rework is far from perfect (for gods sake they just renamed "Pillage" into "Plunder", they are not even hiding it) I think removal of puddle is the best change for everyone. The only way I could agree to it if you could PLACE a puddle somewhere and keep playing, that would be somewhat in character as creating the abyss that swallows enemies & such. But being useless pile of garbage on the floor and advocating that its FUN, you are lying to yourself and you know it.

  12. Well I think the incarnns dilema is DE giving up on players being "overpowered" idea. I think they know that they are incapable of balancing the game so at least let it be fun, and fun it is, mostly. As for the other part, as I was saying a year ago, and it seems my hopes are not being betrayed: Duviri was last project with Steve at the helm, he basically took one last revenge jab at us and shoved a Soulframe demo into Warframe. Now that Reb is in charge I believe she will clean house and this extensive patch to Pets UI, Hydroid etc seems to be doing just that! Might of course be just a happy coincidence, just like Wisp patch, and we will have 3 more years of no QoL improvements, but ill keep my optimism for 1 more patch :)
  13. Holly molly! Someone from DE finally logged into the game and looked at the mod screen! UNBELIEVABLE! Only took 10 years! In all seriousness, this is excellent, but a missed opportunity to bring up minimum base survivability to 500 HP / 500 SHIELD. These changes help with readability, but HP of Warframes is still binary. You get hit once -> shield gate -> hit 2nd time -> you are dead. DR Stacking need to be smashed with a nerf hammer and HP values need to be brought a ton up to make support Warframes, healing abilities & mods viable again. Currently you have 500 base HP with 90% DR from adaptation and your choice of 90% DR ability and you go to 50 000 EHP. No moding screen with show this to a player.

  15. DE, for the love of god, please let us buy civilian resources with plat. I could tolerate this when I was 16 and had nothing to do all day, I could bother to fishing, mining, catching animals, etc. But Incarnon adapters are beyond my powers... Just think about it - I want to create a weapon of mass freaking destruction. What do I have to do for it? COLLECT PLANTS & GO FISHING FOR HOURS Yeah that fits! Seriously, you have managed to create systems so horrifically tedious, unrewarding and boring that it warrants an award. And then you DONT MONETIZE IT? This is insanity! 1p per Maw Fang and 30p per stack of 60 plants maybe something like that. Just do it, please. P.S. If you enjoy all these activities I have nothing against you and don't want to insult you in any way. If you find joy in playing Stardew Valley(Warframe Version), all power to you, seriously. But I come home to wreck a couple thousand faces with my bio mechanical machine of doom. I don't want to go farming, literally.
  16. You rage on the fight because you cant beat it. I rage on the fight because its badly designed and terribly programmed. We are not the same. Seriously though, the fact that they have the audacity to put this fight in as "Anniversary content" is beyond me. Its not "Difficult", its just broken and badly designed. An intern could fix it in 5 minutes by just scaling triangles up like 50% so they match the dodge roll length.
  17. Its completely stupid. The idea was there, but the person who designed the arena has never played Warframe once. The distance of dodge roll is twice the distance of a triangle, which means if you want to dodge the crystal, you gotta fall off the platform. And don't get me started on vertical swing hitbox xD People saying its "easy" cause the one telegraphed attack it has - the horizontal swing, is well programmed and it works, the rest of the fight is dreadfully bad.
  18. I mean DE has succeeded in reducing the playerbase to just man sized toddlers with negative IQ. So actual arguments are: Everything great, DE perfect, leave now! or people who don't understand absolutely anything about how game used to work before it went to hell and just want to shove whatever meta mechanic is now into every warframe to "fix" them.
  19. I explained my reasoning for disliking her entire kit, if you could read that would help. Psychic bolts is an armor strip, every damn warframe has armor strip. What part of yeeting 3 arrows from your hand makes you feel like a psycher? You seen Asari in Mass Effect stripping armor? Or you seen them putting people in stasis, and throwing them around with telekinesis? I dont give an damn how "good" it is, it doesnt fit the character. And considering Pilage exists calling it "good" is a massive stretch.

  21. Ability number are small not because the cannot crit,. Its because abilities don't do any damage. Don't blame the UI people cause your Gameplay people cant do math & balance the game :D
  22. Yeah exactly, the only way to make her functional is to just make her pseudo immortal with 1 mechanic. Nyx basically needs a full rework to meet her archetype fantasy. I wrote a full freaking essay on how to rework her like 3 years ago, obviously no one gave an damn. And then white knight army appeared in force to tell me how amazing she is and I'm just bad xD My quick ideas anyway: Psychic bolts: remove. Absorb: remove. Chaos: remove. While it fits the fantasy, its "too strong" i a sense that it turns off the game that is already stupid easy 1) Mind control: Yeah it sucks, but it fits. Leave it, let me mind control up to 5 enemies. 2) Command: Order your mind controlled goons around into one of "battle formations" each one improoving damage, taking away agro & dmg etc... 3) Telekinesis: Pick up a single enemy and recast to yeet them against wall to insta kill them. Kind of irrelevant with over guard tho. 4) DE wont do anything anyway so don't even bother putting you energy and effort into it xD
  23. Just quickly mentioning that you did not address any of my points, meaning you know you are full of it. Please link a single line of text where I say Im struggling, ill wait :) Then lets go back to system where you would slot in Warfame abilities for a week and see how the community reacts, something tells me its not gonna be too well received. You might want to deflate your ego a bit, cause you hold no authority and no right to tell me what is "acceptable" to say :)
  24. If you are speaking about rebalance based on Marstery Rank, yeah I remember that. It was actual ages ago. And you still have to justify why it wasn't done this time around... Considering the imbalances are substantially more severe now that you they were at the time.
