  1. Would be neat if he had a syndicate we could pledge to and get stock that way.
  2. I think the negative reactions was caused by the people who didn't understand that kahl is an average grineer who can't do what a warframe can do, like bullet-jump etc. As for using kahl for normal missions, that could be a good way to break up the monotony of normal missions.
  3. I don't really get why people would complain about exploring the kahl missions, I do that every time I do one in order to find all the things and get all the available stock.

I may be a bit biased since I did all the kahl stuff the moment it came out, so I may have lost some perspective, but still, what is the "1%" supposed to use this extra stock on? once you get what you want from chipper, that's it, there is no more incentive to do kahl missions other than to get a random archon shard from time to time, don't get me wrong, I really like playing as kahl (though I kinda wish veso would get some love too, even though he canonically died) but there is just not really any purpose to it for the "1%" other than the aforementioned shard.

After reading your reasoning for your initial response I somewhat understand your reasoning even if I personally do not agree with it, especially since your initial response to this thread could be boiled down into: "REEE not everyone oneshots the archons like me REEEE all things should have damage attenuation REEEE everything should be level cap REEE" (the quoted section is meant as satire and is intentionally meant to be read in a slightly insulting but not serious way) Your DIRECT response for reference: My explanation is that not everyone wants to deal with the slog that is the archons and the frankly ridiculous damage attenuation (thankfully DE is going to adress this in the next update here on october 18), and only increasing the chance of getting the kind of shard that you want by 20% PER archon kill still results in needing to kill a stupid amount of archons (not to mention the missions up till the showdown which can be almost impossible to do solo), which can only be killed in a timely fashion by highly specialized weapons and warframes, which means that you have to follow a certain META or you will spend literal hours just trying to get through the first phase of the showdown (I've been there, brought my nataruk which easily one-taps the regular mobs but can barely damage the archons due to their damage attenuation), so in conclusion, the "pity" system is an insult to solo players who either don't like or don't want to adhere to the META which more often than not, is incredibly annoying just to get to or is simply too advanced for some players.
  6. Do you have a better idea for what DE could add? also the "pity" system is flawed and feels more like an insult than anything to me.

Allow me to elaborate, what I meant was that it feels like they've forgotten about the rewards that kahl missions give, there is no incentive to keep doing the missions other than to get a single archon shard each week, and sometimes you just don't want what is on offer. That "something" is literally just boosting the amount of stock you can get, nothing more.
  8. If you have nothing constructive to add then why even post? You also make it seem as if artificial scarcity is a good thing, which it is not.
  9. DE could even just put in eidolon shards and raknoids (since those things can be a pain to farm) and kahl would have lost nothing
  10. In my opinion it almost feels like the kahl stuff needs a rework since DE pretty much just dropped the whole thing on the ground and forgot about it.

Thanks DE for giving us more stock that we can't use for anything other than the SINGLE REGULAR ARCHON SHARD that chipper has for sale, so thanks again DE for making my coffers of stock overflow even more than they already were. Why not put something more in chipper's store for us to use stock on? like for example... A BP FOR TURNING REGULAR SHARDS INTO TAUFORGED!? y'know... something USEFUL!
  13. A shame it probably won't happen since DE will probably wave the "muh balance" flag, even though their so called "balance" was thrown out the window years ago.
  14. To be honest I would be content with just getting another row like the necramech have where we can put in more mods, especially since I REALLY want to be able to stuff more mods into my warframes and weapons.
  15. Please for the love of god let us re-cast our abilities! It get's incredibly annoying to see "ability in use" when there's literally 0.8 seconds left and I NEED to re-cast my invisibility, buff, heal, etc. Also, please allow us to put any mod in the exilus slot of our warframes and weapons, sometimes you just don't need an exilus mod or a normal mod is just better, while on the topic of exilus please just make all augment mods exilus mods, I want to use a lot of the augments that's available for my favourite warframes but I can't fit them in because "only exilus mods can go in the exilus slot"
  16. When will I be able to customize the controls for my drifter in the origin system? I never use the aim function with my drifter and would like to be able to re-bind it so my zoom button is my alt-fire but ONLY for my drifter (in the origin system).
  17. This is exactly what I'm talking about, why not make alt-fires toggles instead of hold-to-do-X it is stupid in my opinion that DE haven't thought to do this.
  18. In my opinion all alt-fires should be modes instead of hold-to-fire, this includes amps, I'd much rather switch mode than hold down on my right stick and not be able to look around.
  19. Gods I wish this becomes a thing, even though kahl should have 1 more shard to offer on top of his current one in my opinion. I live in hope, I have some shards and I desperately want to upgrade them.
  20. I might just do that since it's incredibly hard to fully use certain weapons if the rely on an alt-fire mechanic.
  21. I can't imagine who thought it was a good idea to have hold-to-fire alt-fires in the first place, it's hell on a controller and I can't imagine what it's like on KB&M.
  22. I am not on console, I play on PC with a controller which only work correctly if I use DS4windows.
