Players who generate suspicious mission results are automatically forbidden from trading. You don't need to worry about getting in trouble from trading with somebody and receiving something that was exploited by this bug.  Though it's always a good idea when trading, to be skeptical of any offer which looks "too good to be true".

Not entirely true. If you trade with someone and they give you illegitimately purchased platinum, you'll be the one on the hook if the platinum gets removed.

  2. I somewhat lost interest after the first defense node (also because a bug prevents me from progressing).

I started with infiltrating a corpus carrier ship and doing the objective with destroying the hacking drones, and that was pretty fun. Then I boarded a ship with the defense objective, which was instantly disappointing when I learned that it's literally the same defense mission that we've always done, and it was a slog to go through. Bugs aside, this pretty much killed the pacing of the mission. When I selected a railjack defense mission, I was expecting to defend an objective in space from corpus ships, not the standard cryo pod defense.

At the very least, the defense mission should be shorter. Either lower the number of enemies or reduce the amount of waves to 3 instead of 5. I also don't see the point in giving the player the option of going for more than one round of defense. If a player wanted to do an extended defense run, they wouldn't be playing railjack.

Lastly, the defense mission doesn't really make narrative sense. You're infiltrating a Corpus ship, defending a warframe cryopod for a few minutes, then you're leaving the cryopod on the Corpus ship. It would be nice if you get a transmission from Cy saying something like "Defend this cryo pod while I prepare to extract the objective" or something like that, and have teleport-y particle effects build around the cryo pod throughout the mission, and have the cryo pod disappear after the objective is complete.

  3. I think we're missing the main issue entirely. The issue for new players is finding the weapon blueprints in the first place. When a new player installs the Market segment for the first time, they see all the new featured items that all cost platinum, and they assume that the Market is just full of microtransactions. Then, they completely ignore the Market until someone else informs them that the Market is where you get weapon blueprints. That's what I thought when I was new, and I've seen DE's sponsored content creators come to the same conclusion. Sending newbies a Burston blueprint through the mail does not solve this issue. It might even make the system more confusing since they may think that the main source of blueprints is through the in-game mail system.

The market needs to do a better job of showing newbies stuff that they CAN buy with credits. There's a selection of MK1 weapons (and a few others) that can be purchased straight away with credits. These should be displayed to a new player front and center when they first open the market, under something like a "Training weapons" category. Then the market can suggest "upgraded" weapon blueprints. For example, if a player reaches a certain affinity level with the MK1 Paris (maybe around level 15-20), the game can send them a blueprint for the Paris, along with the message that additional weapon blueprints can be found in the Market.

Also, the market could use a sorting option that shows players the blueprints they can buy with their current mastery level. If a MR2 player wants to find a new weapon, they need to sort through the entire market weapon by weapon until they find one that they can actually use. A market filter that filters out weapons that are MR locked at the player's current level can be helpful.

  4. If you use a crown to activate the golden hand in a Survival mission, the life support timer does not stop. This means that you are unable to do anything in the other world to increase life support, and you will most likely fail the mission.

My suggestion would be to either have specters drop life support capsules, or to pause the life support timer while in the other world.

Huh. I guess that's randomized as well, in my instance it was Darvo walking about a Venusian vent kid collecting K-charges. Based on what I've been from other discussion on the forums, I'm guessing it just has to do with the quiz thing where you put together the clues, and some details vary for each player so you actually have to remember it rather than looking at a guide for the right answers.

Edit: Seems the name of the person who wrote the message for Shigg is also randomized.

The picture was Maroo in my instance

  6. Alright, so by far the most frustrating part of playing Scarlet Spear is when you do a space mission, and you're stuck waiting for kill codes while enemies slowly whittle down your oplinks. It feels like a waste of time, and it just makes you upset for not choosing the right floatilla, upset at the ground teams for not working fast enough, etc.

So, here's how I would fix it.

Before the space team starts attacking the Murex, they need all nine kill codes. The space team doesn't start the Murex until they get all nine kill codes. If they don't have enough kill codes, they can provide support to the ground team to help them work faster. What type of support this is can vary, and this is where creative liberty comes into play. Maybe the space team can sabotage the Condrixes somehow, either from inside or ourtide the Murex. Maybe the effect could lower the health pool of the Condrix, or maybe prevent the Condrix from spawning sentients. The goal here is for the space team to help the ground team work faster. While the space team is supporting the ground team, 100% of the kill codes generated by the supported ground team will go to the supporting space team.

The positive effects of this change are twofold:

    1. The space team won't be stuck doing nothing while waiting for kill codes

    2. This incentivizies people to help where teams are needed most. In floatillas with larger ground teams, people will join space teams because they can get kill codes quickly. In floatillas with larger space teams, people will join ground teams because they can work faster with space team support.

  7. It seems like you need 2 people to DPS the condrix, with rhino, chroma, or whatever else can give a damage buff.

1 person protects the oplinks, so a frost, limbo, etc.

1 person to clean up the sentient waves while other group members are DPSing the condrix. I personally use Mesa for this, but I've seen Baruuk work too.
