  1. Yeahh go ahead, neft Trinity... ruin the fun for everyne who plays her so poeple can stick with loki and continue to use whatever the META is so you can continue to call the meta OP so you can continue to push nerf on it so you can continue to piss poeple off, go ahead ........

    Seriously tho I like trin, but at that point, if she is nerfed, I will just switch to another of you so called "OP" frames and there is nothing you can do to stop me, I will just adapt my min/maxing to whatever you throw at me, you will just degrade the fun Im having, nothing else, because the core game mechanics wheren't about "balance" balance is present by nature in an infinitely scalling environment, I just dont see the point of all that whining, trin has good healing/dr because its her only role, deal with it and moove on, dont bother peoples with your conception of "balance".

    Focus, pizzas and loot manipulation powers are a big enough source of energy, trin's "invincibility" can only be achieved with ONE build, and implys a risk as you can't just mentain it permanently, other frames like Inaros, Chroma, loki or Wukong can do just as good if not better at that, she is the lead of healers because she is supposed to, I dont really see whats the probelm, here.

    Currently enjoying my Zenuric max range CC Nyx btw, literaly nothing can hit me yet I haven't seen many complains about it being '"op" just saying........

Not that much, and I'm glad they dont, the forums are FULL of poeple engaged in a personal crusade against one thing or another, they are a vocal minority trying to decide how the game should be played, nerf threads and so on, I'm tired of thoose novels writen by guys who think they are allmighty and know better than DE about heir own game, community feedback is important of course, but rather than forums, polls give a true representation of the community's opinion and avoid the echochamber effect (for me, the game is perfectly fine the way it is, some poeple disagree, dont like to be "OP" but I do, and juging by the deseign of Warframe, it was intended to be this way, DE aren't doing things blindly, they do things on purpose)

    YES, yes it is, because it make poeple upset that the weapon/frame/whatever they put effort/money/time to get and level up is voided, I'm one of them, if I play this game, it IS to be an immortal demigod golem who slaughter anything in its path, like it or not, it is how most poeple play the game and are fine with that, my 1300 something hours in this game wheren't for nothing, they where put into all my gear to make it as strong as it is now, a nerf after all that time would just be a slap in the face and guess what, poeple dont like that.

    Trinity is good in the 3 domains you mentioned because she HAS NOTHING ELSE, she is MEANT to FOCUS on thoose abilities, and actualy play in a unique maner, unlike all thoose generic wanabe good frames who cant do anything right while trying to do everything (equinox, atlas, wukong, nezha, oberon) and guess what, i HATE all of them because I, like a lot of poeple who main a specific frame, trinity in that case, I dont care about dealing damage, thus, we turn to warframes that are specialised in what we like, and imo thats why you dont see a lot of thoose generic frames around, poeple want specific thing, and trinity, is specificaly made for heal and self relyance, stop trying to prevent poeple to play the way they want, peroid


    IMO you didn't hunderstand what this game was about, it has never been about "chalange", go play multiplayer games for this, or try to hold 80 waves with unranked gears, the only limits to how chalenging warframe can get is your choise of moding, no need to limit other palyers.

    I will just politely opose to you opinion and say that trinity is perfectly fine, underwelming frames like saryn/mag/ anything that isn't played are just in need of bufs.

To put it simply, and I only speak to myself, but damage dealing frames are just a big joke to me, they are either obliteration everything bellow lv 20 (Ussein Bolt Embers, nukes Saryns, exalted blade Excals,....) or flat out useless at high level, I'd rather have a consistent effect (heal, damage reduction, CC, damage boost) than any amount of damage, we have 3 weapons for a reason, I don't see why I would sacrify my only source of CC/heal/damage reduction/boost to a 4th way of dealing damage that will interfere with the 3 others anyway, it looks to redundant to me, but that's just my opinion.

I generally don't like the idea of jack of all trades because it imply that they aren't doing as good as specialized warframes (because of obvious balance reasons) and as I tend to focus on the CC/ damage reduction/ survival aspect of the game, I dont have use for damage dealing abilities/frames, I have a clear playstyle and no jack of all trades will ever be as satisfying as Nyx/ Trinity/ Loki when it comes to my personal playstyle.

    IMO, most warframe players have a personal and particular way to play the game, and so they use the best fitting warframe for their palystyle, not a lot of poeple tend to play a "diversified"/ generic gameplay, just a matter of preference, it has nothing to do with being a "noob" or "pressing 4" its just personal taste, and besides, by definition,jack of all trades wont do as good as anyone else in any domains, I guess some people are ok with that, but I'm not, I just find those generic warframes underwhelming and lacking the use of specialized warframes that I could use according to the situation to support and complete the team as best as I can.

    Like a lot of other players I dont have an unlimited amount of time aviable, in fact I'm doing a prep school right now and my exams are 3 months ahead so I can't play at all during the week (I did for this event and without any succes, thanks RNGsus).

     

    I could do the previous events because they where quick and could be done In a few hours and ACTUALY GRANTED YOU A REWARD SO YOU COULD BE SURE YOU WOULDN'T WASTE YOUR TIME and this time around it is not the case, I have lost 4.5 hours (wich by itself was already a luxury for me) total for nothing, why DE ? why are you penalizing you thoose who can't play often ?

     

    Could you please clarify wether or not we will be able to get thoose mods RELIABLY in the second part ?

     

    edit: Of COURSE i'm not "forced" to play the game, and of course I cant expect everything to come easely, but that combination of time limit and RNG is just not attractive at all for any casual player (me included), like mentioned in the thread, it would be cool to see the new mods rejoin the classical drop pool after the event.

     

    Thanks in advence and keep up for good work DE you did VERY good lately, please just keep the players who can't paly that often in mind.

    Will there be any other ways to aquire them if it is not the case ?

     

    I dont want to be negative, but the RNG for them looks abysmal just by looking at market prices for some of the mods (more precisely aragon wich is about 200 plat),and juging by Torment's health (gone by a third), it appear that not even half of the community will get aragon scope during the event (I asume).

     

    Edit: The last Torment aparition lasted 10 minutes top, its like is 68%.....

    Edit²: 63% I hate this event its ok it will eventualy drop one day......

    The main issue is that since there are frames that are "OP" the lesser used support frames like Oberon and support equinox are over shadowed by frames like trinity. For healer support  role atm there is just trinity overshadowing everything and why would you pick night equinox when trins there. Balance is sometimes needed to had variety instead of "crippling" yourself for not picking what is OP some balance goes along way.

     

    But since trinity's only ability is to support her team, I dont see why she wouldn't be the best support, equinox has an ofensive set and so does Oberon, while trinity doesn't

  9. That is a argument on where should the game be balanced? Should we balance the game for level 60s? Level 100s? Level 1000s? Level 10000000?????

     

    If we are going to balance around the starchart then she is obviously stupidly OP along with many frames. If we are balancing around level 60s then she is still OP and breaks the game, if we balance around level 100s she is less stupidly OP though she is still OP and makes the mission a joke (see sorties). She only stops being OP if we balance around level 1000s.

     

    I can run a mirage through a sortie solo without the blind prism builds. She isn't required to get through them. The problem falls more under the energy system, enemy scaling, and frames CC then her specifically. Though she is part of the problem.

     

    No game should allow you to gain infinite use of your abilities with no trade off. The game has a trade off of you lose infinite God mode. Though without a Trinity you don't get either, and both are stupidly strong. Trinity should make the game easier though not completely break the game to the point where their is no challenge. They either need to nerf every CC in the game to be able to be spammed and not break the game, or nerf the infinite energy source. 

     

    Self damage is obviously a huge problem and should be fixed. Though that doesn't fix infinite energy. If you have a Slova, Frost, and a mirage EV becomes basically Godmode and replaces her Blessing. No gamemode that isn't level 150 enemies needs infinite energy they can all be accomplished without it.

    You completely ignored my point explaining that you couldn't get instantly or permanently the 99 dr on trinity, making her FAR from "game breaking" (that energy rduced excavation sortie yesterday was a nighmare, I finished it with no revives left) but regardless

     

    In the topic of balance, let me get this straight, ANYTHING below level 30 (aka starchart) is a walk in the park, period, no matter what warframe of weapon you take, shield and health mods will do the job without taking the abilities into account.

     

    I think you didn't hunderstood the position of DE towards dificulty in Warframe:

     

    WE ARE SPACE NINJAS this gmae is BY CORE deseigned to give players "game breaking" abilities that prevent or nulify the ability of enmemies to defend themselves, whether it is

    =>"nukes" (Insta kill ennemies)

    =>Damage dealing OS like abilities (continuous version of nukes)

    -Excal's 4

    -Mesa's 4

    -Ivara's 4

    -Wukong's 4

    -Nova's 3

    -Nys's 4

    =>CCabilities (Mkae ennemy attacks inpossible)

    -Nova's 4

    -Nyx's 4

    -Loki's 4

    -Mirage's 4

    =>"defensive" abilities (Block/ deflect/ redirect almost any attacks)

    -Volt's 3

    -Loki, Ivara and Ash's invisibility

    -Trinity's 3

    -Trinity's 4

    -Limbo's set

     

    -Ryno's Ironskin

    And so on....  Why even bother ? Warframe has NEVER been about balance, if you want it, go play some classics like L4D2, Fallout's hardore mode, Dark soul of if you want real dificulty and balance, go play a competitive game like CSGO or R6 Siege, but dont expect Warframe to be a "survival" type game, warframe is more about obliterating hordes of enemies than really facing a "chalenge", once again, multiplayer game are the only real chalenges, you vison of warframe would require massive nerfs of ALL warframes and weapons, destroying both the apeal of the game and any king of pregression achieved by hundreds and hundreds of hours of progression.

    I  play trinity because she is the only self suficient frame and I think that the lack of any good damage dealing or CC ability justify it perfectly.

     

    Your nerfs will make her unplayable in solo and will basicaly make her less popular than she is now, sorry, but I dont want my self heal and energy income nerfed because THEY ARE THE RESON I PLAY HER AND SHE HAS NOTHING ELSE.

     

    You want to punish the ones who play her because they genuinely like her, I LOVE that duration build where you HAVE to time your 4 properly to avoid death, it is a chalenge on its own provided you dont self damage (I dont), you have no Idea how compex the gameplay can be, you have to know what situation you can hold and what situation you cant, because in between the 99% dr, you are vulnerable and while you need to be damaged, even with link active, you can get downed REALLY fast at high level, not to mention the nullifiers, the leech eximus, and the fact that you have to be carefull about the timing between blessing and link as they dont have the same duration and they both fall short at the same time, you better not be exposed because that stagger from quick thinqing will lock you in palce and basically cost you that split second that will cause your death.

     

    Instead why dont you blame thoose cancerous self damage or EV spam builds that will just be still a thing after your nerf, you dont know what you are talking about and only want to punish players for playing a frame they like.

     

    I dont want a thrid saryn/mag tier unplayable overnerfed frame, thank you.

    Currently sortie are barely worth the trouble because of rendomized rewards

     

    =>Lens you dont have use for (already swiming in them as they drop 75% of the time)

    =>Karak weapon parts and dera part that already droped 

     

    When you have to do 3 dificult missions (that take most of my short dayly playtime), you expect the reward to be on the level and when you are just facing RNG like any other part of the game it is a HUGE letdown, and I think that for playing the sortie dayly, this legendary core should be granted.
     

    Change the sortie pool to act like a checklist, each palyers getting in a random order each drop on the list so provided they play the sortie dayly, they are sure to geteverything.

  12. Yeah sure lets destroy any kind of progress achieved by players who have put HUNDREDS AND THOUSANDS OF HOURS INTO THE GAME of course m8 good idea, I'm sure noone is going to quit at all :^))))

     

    I own the ability to obiterate crowds of lv 100 ennemies because i have put 1200 hours in the game to do so, thanks for not trying to take this away.

  13. I will start by saying that u18 must be the best update i have seen in a game so far, good job DE

     

    But what i would like to point out is that because of the lack of information about focus system, we dont know how is calculated the actual affinity gain.

     

    A lot of poeples are complaining right now because the current mechanics are extremely unfair toward non-damage dealing frames and weapons compared to damage dealing frames, right now, frames like Ember are getting 5digit numbers in affinity while other frames like trinity only have 3 or 4 digit numbers this is completely unfair and shoud be fixed asap.

     

    either

    =>allow us to get more lences so we can put them on a piece of gear that will actualy grant us the affinity we deserve

    =>make affinity gain team based

     

    I commited the mistake of puting a lens on my trinity... useless to say my affinity bar hasen't mooved a bit, and because we are only given a SINGLE lens i wont be able to level my focus system at all, this is broken to the point where in desperate atempt to get a decent number i went to Draco and i only scored 300 while my teamates scored about 9K each.

  14. this has already been discussed, and that thread is now locked [its been linked here too]. It is *similar* but not the same. It also only appears in 2 panels as a silhouette, and even this weapon is inspored by things form other anime/manga/real life things.... ._.

    didn't say that to be rude, the Mios simply remembered this the second i seen it because i happen to be a big Nihei fan, also, this weapon is emblematic of the character, it may appear in a few pannels, but it still left a big impression.

  15. Or you know...actually use your weapons for once? Unheard of right? 

     

    While it's true that channeling powers do not receive energy. They can get about 5+ minutes from one EV the second their channel ends. There is no waiting like their would be from E.siphon or limbo. The only real drawback is you lose out on solo play. Seeing how this is a co-op game I don't find that to be a huge deal personally. 

     

    In a team she is gamebreaking. 

    Define "gamebreaking" because all the feature you consider "gamebreaking" are a legit part of the game, that's what you may have missed, invincibility, CC, mass damage, ALL PART OF THE GAME, removing them would literaly destroy all the fun poeple are having.

     

     

    I really wish people would stop using consumables as an excuse for a skill being broken. Consumables have a cost...the cost being actual materials. Make EV cost 10k per use and I'll say it's balanced. 

    Poeple don't have to give excuse to play and enjoy the potential of an ability

    It's beta. If you are expecting everything to stay the same and never get changed you'll be extremely disappointment. 

     

    As for U18. If the problem of infinite energy is getting addressed trin will be nerfed anyways so yea...sorry.

    Stating that "its beta" doesn't make what i said less true: balance is nothing compared to enjoyment, and when you put up an entire buisness model based on your "beta" let me tell you "beta" or no it better not make players angry, while i would agree with you if we where in a PVP game, a PVE game doesn't need as much balancing, in fact, just as Volinus7 said, balance to a certain point becomes not only unnecessary but toxic to the game, let players have fun, put up a clan squad to play hard mode as your earlyest conveniance but don't force poeple to play the way you want.

  17. You're missing the point completely. This is not about playing favorites with frames it's about game balance. 

     

    It takes no effort to press 2 over and over. 

    Please, quit saying "balance" as a magic word, your idea of balance is not compatible with this game in my opinion, it is about space ninjas obliteration hordes of ennemies, I dont see in that context and comparing her to the average warframe how she is unbalanced, a lot of warframes are just a lot more "unbalanced" and I dont see how making her "less usefull" (not to say useless), because in the end, it is what this thread is about would do anyhting to the game "balance" as a lot of various way arounds would just give you the same results (limbo, frost, valkyr, energy restaures, ...) and most of other frames would still dominate anthing else by a mile, what would you do then, nerf thoose frames ? for what purpose ?

     

    This game is meant to be fun, and players, me including, hate to see something being removed or nerfed from their hands, balance is not the main goal of a game, enjoyment is, and payers are the fuel that keep a game runing, by nerfing trinity or any other warframes, you will just make more and more poeple uncertain of what to rank up and buy as all gear wold be exposed to your 'balance".

     

    A good way to balance things out IMO are the new corpus ennemies, nulifying abilities are adding up to the game chalenge as you know that you have to put thoose ennemies down in order to keep that DR you get from your abilities or that invisibility or whaterver, THIS adds chalenge to the game while still allowing you to enjoy your set of abilities, this adds difficulty and balance.

     

    I also would like to remind you that with u 18, the ennemy scaling will most likely be modified, creating a whole new seting for our abilities.

  18. NONE of this is an excuse for infinite god mode. Going back to my earlier example, should a hacker be allowed to hack if they put X amount of effort into hacking?

     

    If you think you "deserve" god mode, why are you even playing this game, or any combat game at all? Nothing could possibly threaten you. There's no possibility that you'll ever die. It's like reading a murder mystery novel when you already know who the killer is. As soon as you press 4, you might as well just get a message from the Lotus saying "Yeah, we all know how this is going to work out" and you automatically get a mission complete screen.

     

     

    Aside from Hysteria, which is even more broken, Blessing is the closest thing to permanent god mode. Every single one of the abilities you've listed here (with Hysteria as an exception) do not allow you to just flat out make failure impossible in the same way Blessing and Hysteria do.

     

     

    You seem to fundamentally misunderstand the purpose of a nerf. Allow me to educate you.

     

    Both nerfs and buffs serve the exact same purpose: moving the game towards a state of balance. Nerfs only make something useless when applied poorly. If a nerf makes something useless, then it was a bad nerf, or at least could have been done much better. A good nerf decreases the power of something without making it unusable.

     

    Have you read my proposed suggestions? I designed them to remove Trinity's cheese factor with as small of a power decrease as possible.

     

    And then what would make her even remotely useful ?? just asking.

     

    Trinity is ABOUT being able to restore your energy so you can mentain that balance between energy and health, Your buisness to call invincibility a "hack" I call that a justified reward for soemthing you made a lot of efforts to get.

     

    BTW thanks for "educating" me but I'll pass on your changes, they will just destroy the frame's synergy and make her useless and unatractive, if such changes passed, I would just stick with a perma invi loki or a nova, apparently no-one is complaining about them so ...

     

    -Trinity is not stealing your kills

    -She helps you to get energy

    -She heals you

     

    Is it asking for to much to let me play the frame i like ?

     

    A LOT of frames are doing far better with abilities like disarms or Mprime, anihilating the ennemy's firepower AND providing you a VERY good adventage that is NOT LIMITED BY TIME or A PRECISE SETUP AND SET OF CONDITIONS.

     

    I think it is only a question of opinion, so I guess I will stop replying as none of us will give up, so I'll just say trinity is perfectly fine to me.
