  1. I think this is actually due to incompetent teammates.

Survival on steel path spawns enough enemies such that you'll never need a life support capsule. But, if you kill all the enemies around you then new enemies will spawn, but some of the new spawns will be near your teammate(s), not yourself. Therefore, if a teammate is killing very slowly, after a minute of play all the enemies are congregated in their area, and none are left in the areas where the fast-killing players are.

So, if you want to enjoy survival without these problems, your options are either to play it solo so all the enemies come to you, or follow your teammates around to make sure you don't get that buildup of enemies not being killed.

Personally I choose solo, since this works well for me. Ideally the game-mode wouldn't have this issue, and perhaps that's a good idea for a rework (something about enemies prioritizing spawnpoints near the high killcount players?)

oh, so what you're asking for is an Alt-Alt-Mode

Yes, or switch incarnon transformations to a different button to allow weapons with alt fire to get incarnon genesis.

EDIT: Or another solution, there's a bunch of different options for making this work.

I don't like too much cloths on Warframe, contrary to DE, it seems like they add it on every frame, and it makes all Warframes look the same.

Yes! Seems like every new warframe and prime since I-don't-know-how-many-years-ago has come with their own syandana and shoulderpads attached to the skin itself. It looks awful putting shoulderpads on top of shoulderpads, similarly awful to place a syandana on top of a syandana. I feel like these should have been made into individual shoulder and back cosmetics instead of forced onto the skin itself and unremovable.

don't they all have an Alt fire mode already?

Well, yeah. That's the whole point of my post. If they already have an alt fire then they can't get incarnon buffs because incarnon uses the same alt fire mechanic.

Please let me know if my post was not clear about this, I'll try to explain it better.

  5. Since alt fire is used to activate incarnon mode, it seems that any weapon with a pre-existing alt fire can never get an incarnon genesis upgrade.

This is unfortunate, since some much-loved old weapons have alternate fires and will therefore never benefit from the massive incarnon buffs.

Stradavar my beloved, will never compete with even the single target incarnon weapons. 😢

Please consider some way for alt-fire weapons to get these huge buffs in the future!

You know you can just cheese it talk to your friends / clan members and agree to win/loose just for the rank ups then when you're maxed and have all the cosmetics you both win and did little to no PvP

Stating blatant EULA violations on the official forums with your username displayed is not the smartest idea you had today.

I attempted to bring Limbo, and his rift bubble was immediately shut down.  I attempted to bring Baruuk, and his Elude didn't hold up for whatever reason (built for full 360 degrees, mind you).  I attempted to bring a 300% strength Nova with the additional 300% strength from the supposed Archon bonus, and it did next to nothing.  When it did, Nova was too squishy amongst the onslaught of narmer/sentient enemies to be viable.

    Every strategy I tried failed.

Some things you make like to know:

    1) Demolysts send out a nullifier bubble every few seconds, so using Limbo is a terrible idea.

    2) Baruuk is a good choice, but elude only works when you're not attacking. Not a great idea in a mode where you need to kill demolysts... (You may want to build for his 3 instead to get damage reduction).

    3) Nova is a good choice of frame, but her damage reduction (from her 1) scales on duration, not strength. Also her 4's damage increase is unaffected by strength, and the slow is capped at 145% strength. Building for 300% strength does nothing except ruin your ability to survive.

Unfortunately, it seems you have misunderstood how to effectively build and where to use these frames, and it has hampered your ability to succeed in this mission.

HAH! no. it used to be a monster due to 100% status. currently, it hits like a truck, but that's all it does - hitting like a truck.

consider the EXERGIS, friend. it hits like a truck indeed (mine ddoes a whopping 60.000 damage per hit) but has well over 100% status chance, over four times that of the tigris, and this monstrosity is heavily slash-oriented. it hits as hard as a tigris, but it then bleeds everything that somehow survived it.

You can now “Favorite” Friends in your Friends list by right clicking on their name. Favoriting Friends will add a star next to their name and will bump them to the top of your lists, both when they are on and offline. If you wish to “Unfavorite” simply right click on their name again and select that option.

This is very nice, can we please have the same favorite system to bump weapons to the top of the list in the arsenal? Currently the only way to "favorite" weapons for ease of access is by renaming them and sorting alphabetically, but that costs plat and ruins the actual weapon names...

Ran a script to correct player Profile stats with regards to Modular item Ranks.

    • Warframe tracks item progression in two different ways, the item itself for Ranks and Mastery, and then your Profile stats.  Players recently noticed that their Profile was not tracking Modular items, this was due to the stats being submitted to the wrong part of the item. In Hotfix 29.10.8 we fixed the upload so that new stats are sent to the correct item, and this script now fixes “bad” data that was previously sent to the Profile. Your Modular items should now be in sync and show the correct Ranks.

This is good, but it still tracks usage incorrectly. The usage stat appears to "double-dip" since primary kitguns were introduced. For example, using a secondary rattleguts increases the usage % on primary rattleguts, and vice versa. I ranked up my rattleguts primary and then haven't touched it since. But it says it's my most used primary!

The time at which they choose to appear may be a bit random, but if you kill mobs, they will come!

This doesn't work in exterminate missions, where you run out of enemies to kill. Can you clarify the "If you kill, they will come" statement with more details on how this actually works?

  12. It might be fixed now, but there was a spot where you could stand and all the spirits would spawn in two locations right in front of you.

It's hard to describe: The central "pyramid" has four sides, if you go to one of them, then move maybe 10-15m directly away from the center of the pyramid, stand still and the enemies will all spawn right near the pyramid corner. I just checked my screenshots and couldn't find one where I was standing at the right spot. But it made this possible:

    vLpl6yU.jpg

I'm not sure if it works on all four corners or only one. I'm also not sure if it's been fixed since I did this in the first few days after the deadlock protocol update.

Good luck, and share your findings!

  13. I've had this problem too. There is an indicator at the top of the screen for splinter storm's buff on yourself, but the buffs displayed there are really hard to keep track of when you have a lot of buffs. I think if they made self-buffs stand out in a different colour then this problem wouldn't be so bad.

You can Transference Out during the rewind and Transference In again when the Rewind is over to avoid travelling all the way back.
This is kinda funny to look at your frame Rewind on its own too sometimes

Hah! That's really great. I just tested it, you're right that this workaround might actually work quite well.

I also tested using operator before the rewind even begins, since this would make it even more useful, unfortunately if you are in operator before the rewind begins you get pulled back into the warframe. So we have to use operator fast once the rewind begins. It's not ideal, but it's certainly better than having to do the whole mission twice because you keep getting pulled back. Thanks!
