  1. It is negligible because we're comparing the Incarnon form and those "missing" 27,73% fire rate makes you get your Incarnon a whopping 0,7227 s slower than the prime. Im doubting youd even feel the difference as it is and even less so with the additional fire rate and the multishot. So I stand by my point that its negligible.
  2. That is a magnetic build, my bad, I forgot i switched configs in the meantime. That doesnt change the basis of my argumentation tho. As I already mentioned in a different comment, the Incarnon mode has the same QoL stats on every variant, meaning the same total capacity, fire rate etc. so the fire rate difference doesnt make any impact for how the weapon plays once you get Incarnon as you will switch into Incarnon after a few shots anyways, saving 1-2 seconds wont do much there. I dont think that "Buffs for Prime should be better" but the statement that "Prime=Better" was introduced and reinforced by DE since the launch of the game. I merely think that a non prime variant suddenly leaving a prime in the dust is wrong, based on my prior sentence. Additionally it was impossible to do research beforehand as we didnt, and still dont get shown the differences for the variants in the Incarnon select screen so even if you wanted to do research, you couldnt as you cant see differences. Also the comparision based on "Single bullet damage + single DOT tic" makes sense, based on the fact, that they have the same fire rate in Incarnon and the rate of the slash tics dont change, so appliying a weighted average here is actually helpful. If the scaling fators are the same it doesnt matter if you calculate one shot or 200 as either one will result in the same end result, the second just having bigger numbers. Also going by "The easier to get, the lower the buffs, it is that simple.", the Skana Prime should have the highest stats as its impossible to get. Also by that same logic why does the normal Braton have higher boni than the prime? I can buy the normal Braton anytime for credits, thats literally the easiest way to get a weapon. Your logic doesnt hold up here. The additional punch through is actually needed to offset the direct ammo pool drain from the 2nd evolution: Munitions Grit. If youre only using either one, you still make a net loss in ammo. Altho you could offset that loss by pickups anyways, Im looking at the weapin itself as you cant guarantee getting ammo pickups or mutation if you plan on running circuit, so a self sustaining weapon is key. If we're going by optimal utilization, meaning you dont miss any shots to charge, youd get an average of 5.2 procs before Incarnon with the prime and 3.2 procs with the vandal. If we reference the previous calculation, that would boost the dmg to the following, with self priming(assuming we actually get different procs each time): Prime(5 total, but we can only get 4 different ones with IPS+Corr) - 307.692 dmg Vandal(3 total) - 336.8448 As both have HM slotted and a good CC im assuming both have triggered at least on Slash Proc, therefor it doesnt matter in the calculation. So even with the higher status chance of Prime, the Vandal still comes out on top. Im not saying the Prime should be stronger, but it def shouldnt be weaker
  3. Braton Prime has 27,73% more fire rate, which is negligible as we already have shred and most likely out-sourced firerate from somewhere else, be it arcane or abilities. The increased mag cap of 25 shots, which is 50%, yes, doesnt matter as well, bcs we reach full incarnon charge before shooting the whole mag anyways, then transition into Incarnon mode, thus skipping the problem of reloading altogether. If we didnt rach full charge with those 50 shots from Vandal that would actually matter, but as it doesnt impact our incarnon upkeep we can skip that. Status is 10% higher on prime but that doesnt really matter. If we stick to the raw dmg build you'd most likely use a primer secondary anyways and if you go with the 60/60s instead for some kind of self priming capabilities you wouldnt reach 100%, even with the prime, so we can also ignore that part. The status procs would come either from your secondary or your companion, the tad more status procs you get with prime dont make up for the huge difference between Vandal and Prime. But you could say, that it takes the prime a bit farther away from the normal variant power level, still not comparable to the vandal tho. Also as we're comparing the Incarnon upgrades youd have to look at the fire rate, mag size and status chance of the Incarnon mode, which is as far as I know. the same across all variants, but correct me if Im wrong.
  4. So let me get this right. The Incarnon Genesis Upgrades already make the non prime variants more powerfull than the primes, and the Skana Prime Incarnon gets gutted even further? Wasnt the whole point of "prime" always being better, and if not, atleast not worse than the other variants available? Sure some variants offer a different playstyle than the prime when they got weighted more into status or crit than the respective prime. But looking at all the Incarnon Genesis Upgrades so far, all the variants, except the MK1, seem to be better than the prime. And Im not talking about some minor advantage here, some of the differences are MASSIVE. For instance, Braton(assuming we pick the same evolutions, otherwise you couldnt compare): II: Munitions Grit III: Gunsmoke Pick Up IV: Critical Parallel Prime goes with all the Incarnon upgrades up to: 37 dmg 30% CC with 2.2x CD Vandal goes up to: 43 dmg 32% CC with 2.4x CD Normal goes up to: 38 dmg 28% CC with 2x CD If we are assuming that we will go the same raw dmg crit build, as we picked crit relevant evolutions, the PRIME variant is actually close to being the worst of the three variants. With a raw corrosive crit build that uses HM to get rid of the heavy units, we dont slot any CD on the weapon. With the following Build: Galvanized Champer Shred Galvanized Aptitude Metal Auger (Primed) Cryo Rounds Stormbringer Hunter Munitions Critical Delay With all the above mentions we get: Weighted DMG(meaning all the CC+CD factored in): Prime - 73.26 Vandal - 99.072 Normal - 63.84 Hunter Munitions Value(meaning the average slash proc from the Weighted DMG): Prime - 25.641 Vandal - 34.6752 Normal - 22.344 For a total combined DMG average of: Prime - 98.901 Vandal - 133.7472 Normal - 86.184 So it comes down to the Vandal outperforming the prime by a total of 34.8462 dmg, which is almost the base dmg of the prime itself, and the prime only being ahead 12.717 dmg of the normal variant, which is not a lot, considering its a prime. And this is without any of the actual dmg increases calculated in, as they would only make the difference bigger. I havent done the in-depth math for every incarnon but only rough calculations to get an overwiev but it seems like this is the case for every incarnon so far, and honestly speaking, I dont like it. Its been established since the launch of WF, that prime weapons are the height of technology and therefor are better than any other variant available. The new Incarnon upgrades overthrow this whole concept and I dont think overthrowing concepts that have been established since the founding of the game is a good idea. So besides catfishing anyone who gets the upgrade for their prime, as theyre unable to even see the changes in the values, and overthrowing established concepts and balance, I think DE #*!%ed up rally bad with this. Whats the point of getting the prime variant now, when the others are just straight up better?
