  1. Noticing sometimes railjack parts dont actually apply their stats.
    Sometimes this is fixed by just repeatedly unequiping and reequiping, like i had to do with the sigma mk2 reactor, the part but other times I cant seem to force the stats to actually work.

    One example being the Sigma Mk2 Engines where the +20m/s never actually applies but the engine boost does

    Ive noticed this with salvaged parts as well where the stats will say 1 thing but when previewing the actual changes theyll do something else. These are generally much smaller like a Lavan Mk1 reactor SAYING +11 but only granting +10. Parts that i noticed doing this always seemed to round down.
    Sadly i didnt think to screencap that before smashing it however.

  2. I don't blame DE for their choice. The datamines were getting silly. Droprates and all that such are fine. It helps players and even spot bugs from time to time. But theres no reason to be constantly leaking scripts and models weeks and even months before release.

    Gotta have limited kids.

    Lech Kril simply needs his AI fixed, as its the same AI as when he was first released.... in closed beta.

    Bullet sponge but with a weakpoint with 0 resists on it. I find that fair. It rewards accuracy and prevents the AI from just making you want 4 minutes for him to open up.
     

  4. I love all the exploiters stepping in, stomping their feet that they didn't get to abuse it or that they wont get to keep their scores for the "hard work" they put in.

    Sorry kids. Clan events are competitive. So dont get upset when competitive like rules start being set.

    Tennocon is a 3hour drive from my home. I can easily go for the day and still get home in time for baro's warehouse sale. So yes.
    Im just trying to get things straight so I know exactly what I need to be doing then.

    Is the new Tennocon Syndana only from the Collectors ticket? And if so, would the collectors ticket also give you access to Baro's Special Relay while it's active.
    I ask because I want to get the cape, but I also want to access Baro's old inventory for some cosmetics I missed out on.

    Note that they suggest you to keep trying from time to time. Take that as a hint that that inactivity timer is close.
    Just try from time to time. They aren't allowed to give out any account info so just take the hint they gave you, it's the best you'll get.

I more or less ignore the ones with actual songs because it's too annoying to try to deal with, but get a huge benefit from the ones that I assume just set their songs up to basically be constant spam (not sure if that's how easy it is or not as I don't have mine to test yet).

    If they end up nerfing that method of easy buff access she may go from an extremely powerful support (easy perma stealth + multishot + armor + damage multiplier etc) to a frame people just ignore because it's too much of a hassle if you have to actually pay attention to the song. It is kind of unfair to the Octavia's to have to give up the fun factor of making an actual interesting song to be more useful/practical. Not sure what a good solution would be outside of just making it easymode to get the buffs regardless of the song setup. 

    The reason people spam notes, specifically the Metronome notes, is because its inconsistent to get the buff to build up in the first place. So its easier to just have it spam notes and just spam whatever action is needed, eventually you'll get enough to activate them.
    Part of this is because of a bug I've noticed. Whatever the base duration is, the ability will try to end there, restarting if you've boosted your duration at all and repeating. This throws the beat if your metronome off. Making it harder because the beat has shifted off cycle slightly. Enough atleast to screw with how precise it wants the actions.
    This bug seems to effect her 1, 2, and 3. Her Ult being uneffected because its not using your music to toot. So there's no cycle is has to worry about.

    Outside of the metronome, spamming notes doesn't really do much. The DPS remains the same. Many notes results in many low damage ticks. While fewer notes result in beefer ticks. This can be seen even in her 3. Where a note every 4 provides significant charge for the multishot bonus, while rapid notes generate far less.

  9. Now before I start. I like the frame and she's rather good, but there's something with her that just bug the crap out of me and makes it hard to actually enjoy using her.

    My problem is with Metronome, her 3. A metronome is the general beat to a song. So why is it set to be controlled by the melody of the song and not the percussion? The ability is about doing things in beat with the song. Having it set to the Melody and not the actual beat of the song makes no sense to me.
    My other problem with Metronome is how exact it needs to be. Compare this to a game like NecroDancer, a game all about doing all your actions to the beat of the song or risk taking damage, Metronome requires nearly, if not, perfect sync to the notes. It comes off rather inconsistent on if it gives the buff. While trying to practicing it I found it often would do the buff tick noise and show the particle effect for gaining a bit of charge towards the respected buff, but no charge would actually build as well.

     

    My only other gripe with Octavia is her instruments. But not all of them. Specifically the ones used for the Melody. Even the Druk Instruments, which give a great Percussion and Bass, give what always just makes me think of a machine farting that someone just saved to a sound board to attempt DJing with.
    Just everything involving the Melody just feels like heck.....

  10. Honestly if you view Oberon is useless, you aren't using him properly.
    1 for fast damage, I generally use it when reloading as it doesn't interrupt the action.
    Stack 2 in high traffic areas. The damage stacks and it amazing. Ignore the Armor buff it gives, its percent based.
    3 for heals, obviously. Ill generally pop it if someone is down to boost their timer for a little too. It's saved a few nerds. Don't use this expecting Bless heals, its a Regen for a reason.
    4 to pause the battle. Don't expect it to kill, use it for its effects. Knockdown followed by Blind followed by Rad. Its perfect shutting down anything giving you a problem.

    While a rework would be nice. He honestly needs very little. Giving his 2 a flat bonus like his 4 augment and remove the regen cutoff and let it just continue for the full duration. That's all he needs or should get. Unlike other frames with just worthless abilities, hes still very capable. Some QoL changes would be nice, but that's it.

    Legitimately love all these changes. Even the rebalances to the broken weapons.
     

    Sadly this says just how poorly done Rivens were done. Seeing how they were meant to buff older weapons like this already. Though I guess Better Rivens are waiting on Damage 3.0 before they can work as intended.

  12. I can tell you right now. Ive passed out with my game on for 28 hour straight this week. Ram stays consistant at 730ish mb with Borderless Windowed. I also keep a Performance Monitor to keep watch on my cpu as I still use a really weak i3-3220 to avoid pushing it too hard.
    I haven't seen a leak in at least a year.
