Heirloom Collections are intended to be unforgettable (for the right reasons) - we are also discussing ways we can better preserve that feeling of legacy, quality, and prestige for future Heirloom Collections (if we make more).

And instead you used FOMO to make them unforgivable

And how will you fight against multiple submissions by the same person? Your data will be tainted and incomplete.

DE can make that decision on their own without you. They've made it 10 years just in case you missed the memo today. If you think an expensive optional item will be the demise of this company, then you already had very little faith in this game and it's team.

It is impossible to prevent false submissions without offering a purchase of "nothing, but it tells DE you would've spent money on them".

then you already had very little faith in this game and it's team.

I had greater faith in this game and its team than in any others except Re-Logic and Larian Studios, for the same reason many others did: DE has a history of not doing things like this; It doesn't take some grand reason to lose faith in a studio, just the loss of the reason you had any to begin with.

You know that companies do have access to their own income records, right? DE will know if it actually impacts their income or not without players attempting to self report their choices.

Financial records don't contain a purchases that would have been made but weren't, they can compare the rate of income before and after the change, but that will always fluctuate, the purpose of this tracker is to remove all doubt it can as to the lower bounds of lost income.

  4. And for any moderators who happen upon this, this is meant to provide a way to see when DE has lost money (A time-exclusive microtransaction inherently can't be financially beneficial long-term unless it causes no lasting loss of reputation) from the change in community opinion that's already happened without it, and provide it as fast as possible, for your benefit and ours;

  5. The best way to ensure this sort of thing doesn't happen again (and potentially fix it this timr) is likely to be demonstrating that it lost money overall, and at any non-zero rate that's guaranteed to happen eventually with FOMO-based microtransactions, so if you decide against making a purchase in WARFRAME for any reason resulting from this change in monetization style, so please respond with it in the following form, it is set to not collect email addresses or any other irrelevant data.

i dont think anyone at DE expect people to buy cosmetic skins over a great game like BG3. That shouldve already been your plan if you didnt have it already.

I didn't mean that I didn't already intend to buy BG3, I meant that before this I planned to buy regal aya packs and tennogen, but now I'm more likely to make extra steam accounts to buy BG3 for, since the main reason for either would be supporting developers I support.

It took World of Warcraft years to realize Titanforging was a terrible system, how long until we realize tauforging is just as terrible?

As far as I can tell this is an entirely different system in an entirely different game, with the only similarities being the names and that both are upgrade systems, so by my estimate it'll take about NaN years.

  8. A lot of these changes are great, but why did a non-meta weapon like Shedu get a bigger nerf than all the meta weapons combined (which is to say, a ~33% average fire rate nerf by my calculations, a bigger nerf than tenet cycron's ~16% reduction), and why did Basmu (which also wasn't meta as far as I can tell) get its ammo regeneration effectively removed altogether?

  9. With the exceptions of warframe parts or directly usable items like Pherliac pods, there are 23 craftable materials (Detonite Injectors, Fieldrons, Mutagen Masses, and refined open-world resources), however, with a 12 hour craft time, it takes longer to craft a single detonite injector, fieldron, or mutagen mass than it takes to craft all of the necessary refined materials to craft everything they're used in once without multiple things crafting at the same time (9 hours and 11 minutes).

    ores:
5 hours, 3 minutes one at a time
1 hour, 15 minutes possible (multiple different recipes being crafted at once)

    gems:
4 hours, 8 minutes one at a time
1 hour, 5 minutes possible (multiple different recipes being crafted at once)

  10. replacing every stance (currently seems to be the plan for melee 3.0):

    • pros:
      • more fluid melee combat.
      • every weapon type has a "distance closer" combo and mostly stationary combo.
      • players only need to learn one stance's combo buttons.
    • cons:
      • all of the time and effort spent on at least one combo in almost every stance is wasted.
      • many players have favorite stances, but barely any of those will keep all of the combos players liked.(like Final Harbinger, which has 4 "distance closers" and would likely only keep one)
      • players are forced to learn completely new stances.

keeping all stances unchanged (seems very unlikely):

    • pros:
      • many stances already flow between combos decently.
      • no extra work needed.(balancing, making animations, etc.)
      • players get to continue using their favorite stances.
    • cons:
      • a lot of stances are currently both considerably worse than the rest and the only stance of their polarity for their melee type.
      • some melee types don't have any good stances.
      • Wukong rework would feel out of place.

keeping current stance combos, updating stance controls, and adding new stances with "stationary, speedy, ?, ?" combo set:

    • pros:
      • players get to continue using their favorite stances.
      • every weapon has at least 2 stances.
      • more fluid melee combat.
      • every weapon type has a "distance closer" combo and mostly stationary combo.
      • no time or effort wasted by removing combos.
      • stances currently have 4 combos, which would match up well with "spam e", "spam e while holding w", "spam e while holding block/aim", and "spam e while holding w and block/aim".
    • cons:
      • combos from old stances couldn't be completely reused for new ones.
      • new screenshots of warframes holding weapons needed.(but not really, since it wouldn't be the first time you've reused a mod's picture and no one seems to care anyways)

yes and did you not read what I said after that. also you comment in no way implied what I stated. all you said was that gunblades would benefit exclusively from charge attacks, and that they are removing the combo counter.

I did not say that they were removing the combo counter from all attacks, I said they were removing the combo counter from all attacks that will be used by players.

they are moving the channel feature and murging it with block to have it block 100% of damage all the time in exchange for what I would assume is a small energy consumption per damage blocked. Combos are being streamlined into tiers to make them easier to do and have more of an effect in combat. They are removing the pre melee swing that always happened before a charge attack, which will make using gunblades way more fun. You will have more control over your ground slam attacks.

Thats just what I can remember off the top of my head.

but they are also removing the combo counter from every attack that will ever be used by any player other than gunblade shots.

  13. Exodia brave currently does not trigger on finishers, this limits the stealth capabilities of an arcane that already would have very little stealth functionality (all of which would be based on restoring the energy used by stealth abilities), and it also does not match the description.

    "Less variety"?

You mean they will not be able anymore to pull something like a Boltor Prime after ten hours of gameplay, then use it to destroy the entire game without ever thinking about using an other weapon for anything else than MR?

No dude, actually it's MORE diversity.

Warframe is the very first game i've seen that allow players to have access to the best end game stuff super early in the progression.

    And guess what?

Nobody as stoped playing any other game with a LOGICAL progression.

a lot of "unique weapons" (weapons that add actual diversity) are high MR.
