Sent in a fix today, it should hopefully be 100% opaque soon

Currently, the Atavist Prime torso piece is much smaller than most other torso armors and hangs awkwardly off of some frames. In the original artwork, it's shown to be much larger.
original art
how it looks on Nyx Prime currently
personal recommendation
targis prime used for position reference, for comparison. note how it wraps around the torso neatly
unfortunately I only have pics of nyx prime at the moment, I might add more frame comparisons and suggestions later

Now that DE has adjusted many weapons to have their damage reflect their MR requirement, it would be better to base Riven Disposition off of these new balances ie low MR weapons get higher dispositions to compensate the DPS difference between it and a high MR weapon, and vice versa
Adjusting disposition on total usage won't actually reflect how balanced a weapon is, and not adjusting disposition at all would be a mistake
-
Yes, it has a lot of base damage but without crit or status it drops off really fast at later levels, especially against armored enemies.
As for that video, its hard to recreate exactly what is going on without knowing what the build is but i assume they have a +crit damage riven, because the jump from 275 damage to a 17k+ crit seems implausible otherwise. Even then, the Tiberon has such a low crit chance that building specifically for crit damage would be detrimental.

additionally, there is already a system in place for earning ayatan statues
both from maroo for a guaranteed one, and from simply finding them in missions
its silly to have a single ayatan statue earned exlusively from sorties when it could just as easily be part of the existing ayatan system
in turn, this means you can already effectively earn plat for endo without the need of this specific statue
it doesnt make much sense to defend this one particular statue as a sortie reward
-
I think the optimal solution would be to remove the infection mechanic entirely and simply open up the helminth room right after doing the nidus quest, then people can place the cyst on themselves to get a charger without affecting anyone else.
-
with an RNG system like this, ideally you'd want to reward all players equally and not have an "objectively worse" reward
but not only do the statues need an additional investment of ayatan stars, the final endo value stops just short of 4000 endo, which makes 4k endo objectively better
one can even argue that most rewards are objectively superior than others on the sortie list
for example, catalysts could be argued to be objectively better than reactors due to the sheer amount of weapons compared to warframes
forma could be objectively worse than an exilus adapter since an exilus takes 2 forma to craft
everyone runs the same missions that have the same amount of skill and time required, yet some people are arbitrarily given worse rewards than others

Again, clipping issues. Equip Harrow's default helmet and look at what would happen if it'd be scaled up. For Frost it'd get inside the neck. And Mirage's promo pic I can see it's tilted towards the screen only to look good lol Smart DE...
Harrow's default helmet clips with himself
as for Frost, you can clearly see the spritsail and targis armors don't go inside the neck despite being larger and sitting higher, and those are just 2 examples
other torso pieces like the riv series, the gazal plate, hulta guard, and pakal chest sit much higher and larger than atavist all without issue for both of them
-
The torso plate definitely has some scale issues
on some frames like Harrow, its abnormally small
and on frames that are supposed to have the torso armor scaled up, it barely changes from its default size
its position and size are also considerably different when you compare it on mirage prime vs the preview image we were given

Who is the artist behind the Syandana? Is he/she aware of this?
yes, its a bug with transparency

I thought the exact same thing when I first saw that! Personally I think it's better than the Vasa syandana but they are still very much alike.
To be fair, that was made in July. the Mag Deluxe syandana was shown mid-September in devstream 98 and released October 12.

The gorgon conclave skin's primary tint is not completely metallic like all the other conclave skins, which causes conflicting appearances.
The areas that are 100% red are metallic, you can see that the rest of the primary tint is non-metallic.
For comparison, here's the Strun and Karak skins, which are metallic:

The solution to this is to not care too much about getting the rewards. The Tribute weapons aren't bad but they aren't game-breakingly good either, they're just...there.
I personally think the issue is that these weapons introduce unique mechanics into a large pool of weapons that are mostly stat variations of eachother. If they didn't have some quirk that may make regular gameplay more fun or different, then people wouldn't be so enamored by them.

This excuse has gotten really tiring because they have hot fixed in tennogen (tennogen round 6) before without having to do a cert. it can be done without an actual “update”. Its just irritating when no one at DE answers questions and the first post of this thread is still unupdated saying “promotion on PC - and hopefully simultaneously on Consoles”
Hotfixes also go through the cert process, I was using 'update' in its general form. The overarching point is that DE does not control when content can be added to consoles.
-
Microsoft/Sony determine update dates for their respective consoles, not DE. That is what the 'cert process' is all about.

left is based on the new armor set shown at Tennocon, right is just a doodle based loosely on the Izvara series

couldn't hit the deadline due to family stuff, but here's an update anyway

It would be a much nicer system if relics were spread out throughout the star chart into missions like capture, exterminate, etc instead of most of them being behind Rot B/C of endless missions.
Here's the drop locations for Oberon Prime Chassis relic:
As many others point out, the old key problem of "prime parts being put into Rot C" has simply moved from getting prime parts to getting relics.

side idea #1, lil lanterns for extra spook
side idea #2, though these might be a little too on-the-nose.
and how the helmet fits on oberon's bodies, had to remove the back of the hood though.

Don't forget in that same scene he let Umbra get blown to bits with the line: "Even I make mistakes, including you."
