  1. I don't understand why most quests are repeatable but the rest are not (including the Mirage quest, thus making it difficult to get the BP for if you trash it). Vor's Prize not being repeatable troubles me the most, though, as it's a storyline quest and would be good video material (at least for me). I would have to make a new account if I wanted to replay it and record the gameplay, which I could do but really don't fancy doing.

As I mentioned, quite a good few if not most of the game's quests are repeatable, including some of the most complex ones, so I hope we get the rest added soon :)

Honestly, I hope for the day when we have a frame for any random idea you can spitball, at this point I doubt there's any theme they wouldn't consider

Honestly, I don't want to ever see such a day. We should not accept ANY AND ALL IDEAS, that is not really a constructive approach and it risks turning a huge but functional game into a huge and non-functional mess.

We want a game for us, not a game that pleases the people that like to scream out of the game just for the sake of publicity.

Kind of this. But I might have to diverge from this thought: I believe that how the game turns out should be the vision of the developers first. Enriched by community interaction, of course, since players are a vital part of a game as much as the people working on it nowadays... but the final decision and the choice on what goes in and what is left out is up to the developers. That is why there are two sides: those who play the game and those who make it, and those who play it are not necessarily also the ones working on it, while the opposite should be. Don't get it wrong because I'm not saying that us players should just ST*U, but everyone please remember that devs are not our personal slaves. 🙏

  3. I don't know about that... there's no need imho for further straight buffs - because, if I got it right, Assimilate received only straight buffs.

Anything more than that, and you risk dipping your feet into the "game-breaking stuff" waters. Let's go one step at a time, I'd say. 😛

  4. Do I recall that incorrectly or Assimilate's interaction with friendly fire was already a thing, and one you had to watch out for if you didn't want to be drained superfast?

As for the general opinion on Nyx reworked - meh. Even with the rework, very little has changed for me: I don't dislike that 'Frame, but it just doesn't quite fit my play style.

  5. Hey, I heard you keep using that Vectis up close. Sooo... what about the same thing, but as a shotgun?

Truth be told, the Exergis is a lot of fun to be used. It's not the most comfortable thing to use, but I learned by now that "comfort" and "fun" do not always sit on the same couch together.

EDIT: I'm a bit of a madman and I use Vicious Spread on everything I can put it on, and I too found it perfectly fitting on the Exergis.

We could also pretend that it is to increase the usefulness of the lesser used Arch-Guns...

Well, as it stands, regular weapons have quite a lot of options and can get quite overpowered compared to Arch-Guns. I don't expect a huge cannon from space to be outgunned by a pea shooter. Arch-Rivens may not be the solution, but I don't see them as a bad addition either.

  7. Sometimes, when customising Warframes and/or weapons' appearance, I come to a point where I just want to start over. In those instances, a button to wipe out any and all customisation settings on the chosen Warframe/weapon would be terrific.

Probably it's just me, but I thought I'd try suggesting this.

  8. I tend to build far more modular weapons than it's really needed. I was never able to stick to "the only guns that are really ever worth using" before modular weapons, and I certainly am not able to stick to "the only combinations that are really ever worth making". Experimenting with pure trash and reaching a point where even that gains some usefulness has something that playing 24/7 with Corinth and spamming Peacemaker (two things which I adore doing FYI) will never have.

So... I don't know if you're alone. I have been there. But it wears out after some time. EIther that, or you'll get bored.

  9. > be me having finished to build a Nyx literally 1-2 days before and levelling it up.

"What is this? Is my computer about to lock up again or - wow why is my teammate shooting me - wait that's not my teammate - WTF WHY AM I DEAD"

Based on a true story, as well as months of pure dread at the thought of him coming again. That is, until payback came.

  10. I hope it won't take too long before all quests can be replayed. I miss playing some of them, and they would make for excellent fan-made content material.

Of course I think the amount of issues present in the game right now will divert all attention from this particular request, but I still hold hope.

  11. Good evening people! Here's the TLDR version for those who are not in the mood to read a story from a returning veteran:

I would REALLY love if Warframe had a button that allowed us to reset all customisation done on a Warframe/weapon back to default and give us a clean slate to play with.

And here is the TLDR version for those who DO are in the mood to read a story from a returning veteran:

I came back to the game just now as we speak, mainly to catch up on what I have missed while offline and to enjoy the benefits of my newly purchased monitor. I was welcomed to my Orbiter by a badly customised Warframe that might have been great back when I last played, but now it looks like a monster screaming for a total makeover. So I browsed my arsenal, and I instantly realised the Warframes are not the only ones that badly need a makeover.

Normally I would just change customisation settings and be done with it. Sometimes, I think a total reset would be a better starting point for this purpose.
But if you are like me, chances are you have dozens of Warframes and hundreds of weapons, each and every one customised in some way. That will take hours.

I understand that, as I have said already, one could just change the colours/accessories instead of going through a reset. But there are more and more customisation options, including a total randomiser, so why not add a reset button for the vanilla enthusiasts?

Well, that is all I can give as feedback, I guess!

Two things, that somehow could be tweaked a bit IMHO:

    - Nidus can be played without using a weapon at all, which is great and fun to play. But since this is the case, I don't quite understand why he has to care less about energy management than pretty much any frame. A bit more need for Efficiency wouldn't hurt.

    - Nothing wrong with the insane amount of damage at max stacks, and people comparing it to other damage frames like Mesa etc. aren't wrong there. Point being though: being one of the highest damage dealing abilities of all frames, it's still a "1" skill, meaning it comes at minimal energy cost, which is not in line with the damage abilities of most frames. Why not increase the cost while gathering stacks? Like x1.5 starting at 33 stacks and x2 at 66 or something like that (just some random numbers that came to mind, but you get the idea). Right now you can spam it like there's no tomorrow, which is fine at low stacks as you need to build stacks up, but it shouldn't be that checp when it's really pwoerful.

    - his 4: nothing wrong with the ability itself, but the looks...would love to see the height of that infected...stuff...reduced by quite a margin, just to be able to actually see crawlers or small rollers to be able to end the another round of Def without having to try to hit something that I can't see.

Kinda see your point. Personally I wouldn't mind some sort of slight increase in cost according to stacks (at least, my general build wouldn't be affected that much since I run a full Fleeting Expertise), although I feel like adding that indiscriminate spamming gets you nowhere... if the number of mobs isn't sufficient you end up losing energy instead of gaining it.

I can't be the only person getting sick of seeing 2-3 nidus warframes running in every mission, lets break it down, Nidus is pretty much unkillable, he has insane amounts of damage, even if by some miracle he goes down so long as the person has 10 stacks they are auto revived, he can CC an entire room easily, gain insane amounts of damage reduction with his link, oh are those 10 bombards giving you trouble? just let me link to that corrupted ancient....there we go all better,  Fact of the matter being why run anything else since Nidus does most jobs perfectly, Tanking....check.....Damage....Check (With 100stacks his one can do up to 40k damage per hit and it hits multiple times), Buffing....Check.....Healing......sorta...his 4 can heal but not as effective as a trin, still if the people stay in range its unlikely they will go down.   So please someone come in here and tell me he doesn't need a rework and explain your logic behind it, because its obvious the QA team did barely any work on this one or he was purposely released as an OP frame,  FYI to get 100 stacks takes all but 3 minutes in some missions, his second ability followed with his first.....Id love to know the developers take on this, did rushing him involve throwing all the playtesting out the window for an end of year release?

The most immediate reason why I think Nidus doesn't need a rework and/or is OP in comparison to other Frames is that, like most novelty Warframes/weapons, once you take him out of his niche you're just better off with another Warframe. I totally agree on Nidus being incredibly powerful, but to me he is absolutely not powerful to the point that he becomes mandatory. In other words, try replacing a Warframe like Trinity, Nova or Mirage against high level enemies (Defense, Survival, Excavation, Trials) with a Nidus, I am pretty sure that the result will not be the same, and definitely not necessarily for the better.

I would like to add another example. Mesa used to be so stupidly OP that every other DPS Warframe was happily ditched in her favour (Ember, blind Mirage, Nyx, Rhino, Excalibur, ANYTHING). She's been reworked and many players immediately stopped bothering because "no more auto aim no more ez" (but she sill kicks a$$ in my opinion, and many know just how much of a - skilled? - Mesa fanboy I am).
Still, although Mesa is very powerful, she doesn't take over the meta as easily as it would be implied, nor did she when Peacemaker was just an aimbot in disguise! I saw players abuse the hell out of her on Draco, but anywhere else? Just like Nidus today - novelty killer toy. Endgame meta was (and still is) mostly untouched. Mesa did not alter it, and so far neither has Infested Boy.

...speaking of which, would Nidus out-DPS Mesa? Yes... and no.

Furthermore, you must really have a weird matchmaking if you found 2-3 Nidus per mission, because I haven't and I guess many others didn't as well. This isn't exactly a valid argument against Nidus since it depends on matchmaking, which is as random as it can get, but this is just my take on it.

Finally, Nidus requires stacks for 2 of his abilities and his passive. No stacking, no partying. I bet a third of Nidus users still makes that mistake. Not all Warframes are so reliant on abilities. I do agree that he is rather forgiving, and yet I don't think that alone is enough to make him the ultimate meta.

In conclusion, I believe that an OP Warframe makes most of the rest of his/her/its brethren obsolete. Nidus is stupidly powerful (if played well), but he is not one of those. Nerfing him excessively will just turn him into another toy to max out before going back to Simulor Mirage or WoF Ember, or whatever is in the meta these days.

  14. Actually I have thought of something.

Give those weapons back only to beta players who sold them (or all beta players, since maybe they couldn't redeem them in time). Or at least available for purchase, though I wouldn't know how to make it possible for them only.

If you played around that time odds are you have founder status. Thats enough exclusive stuff stop being greedy.

Some of us didn't. I'm one of those. What now, you're going to blame it on us being too poor or not invested enough?
