I do have the Zenistar, although not quite sure how its disk works. How do you keep it in one spot? Or did I just misunderstand you?

Just use a charged attack (hold you're melee button) and the disk will land wherever you're aiming, you can also do the same to retrieve the disk early.

  2. That's the interception test, right?

Keep an eye on the icons next to the minimap, they'll start flashing when an enemy tries to capture the corresponding point.

using a sniper might help if you have one, it'll allow you to easily shoot enemies at points other than the one you're currently at.  If you have the Zenistar you could also put it's disk at a point to prevent enemies form taking it.

    - A change of passive: Frost passive doesnt work quite well i would say, plus is dangerous. A better passive for him would probably be that he can emit a cold aura that slows enemies, or plain and simple: Inmunity against cold damage, because well, hes frost right? or even maybe, that enemies that are under the effects of a cold damage, will get more damage from any weapons that frost wields.

Pretty sure they said back when they were first adding passives that they weren't going to do any damage type resistance passives, I could be misremembering though, so don't hold me to this. You're last idea is pretty good though.

    - Snowglobe: Ever seen those arctic eximus moving with their snowglobe? Why cant Frost do that too? Also pls, make it scale better. Yeah there are builds out there that can make a globe with tons of health, but they arent fun to use if you remain static, plus they will still be broken in seconds by high level enemies.

I think Snowglobe is fine how it is, it doesn't need to be mobile.  If they decide to change it, which I doubt they'll do, it should be an option, not automatic.

    - Ice Wave: this ability shouldnt have the need of an augment to slow down enemies in my opinion. Its damage is also very poor. When you say "Razor sharp ice blades" and the ability made of ice, anyone would imagine Ice Wave to do 2 things: Proc slash status, and proc cold status.

Ice wave already applies cold procs to any enemy it hits without the augment.  All the augment does is leave a persistent ice trap for a few seconds.

    1 hour ago, TheBestNapkin said:

    - Freeze: The idea comes to mind, what would you have if you combine freeze, with chroma's spectral cream? You get an ability that looks like Iceman from X-Men. Freeze could have a toggle to make it freeze the entire path in front of you while you move, eventually making ice statues out of enemies caught in the attack. Frost would be unable to use primary weapons or melee weapons while casting freeze like that.

The only problem is that the spectral scream style powers are even less useful than the current iteration of Freeze, so no.

    1 hour ago, TheBestNapkin said:

    - Avalanche: not much about this ability, i think it is already good enough the way it is, but only a single QoL change: Frozen enemies cannot be moved at all, not by nidus larvae, not by any abilities. Please get rid of that 😞 also increase the damage it can do.

No.  I can think of no advantage to be gained by preventing the frozen enemies form being moved, meanwhile it will severely inhibits players using certain other "Frames such as the aforementioned Nidus.

Frost is a defensive CC, and he does his job well.  I'd say he's pretty much fine how he is.

Reading this makes me think that even if you started Nightwave today, you'll be able to do all 10 weeks of Nightwave.

for the next nightwave series yes, but only during it's run, and not for not for Wolf of Saturn Six.

    8 minutes ago, General_Durandal said:

So, it counts as a type of quest now? That you can activate from your ship somehow?

No, I'm pretty sure that acts from previous weeks will just remain accessible.

  5. I can't say for sure, but I would guess that a thrown melee is no longer considered a melee weapon by the game, but is instead seen as a projectile, in which case you'd need to actually hit the spores directly with the throw to spread them.

That's just a guess on my part though, don't take it too seriously.

  6. Following the usual pattern the next 'Frame would probably be Atlas.  Everything from here on is pure speculation.

In keeping with his punching theme, he'd probably come with a prime fist weapon, and with the Tekko being the only currently existing Tenno fist weapon without a Prime variant it would be either that or a completely new weapon.

Since the current Prime Access has a Primary weapon, the next one will probably have a secondary as the other weapon.  I think a hard-hitting semi-automatic would suit Atlas, but I can't think of any Tenno weapons fitting that description that haven't already been primed, the best I can think of would be the Magnus.

As for accessories, that could be anyone's guess.\

There's also the chance they'll skip Atlas in favor of a more popular 'Frame like when they primed Nova before Trinity, Saryn, or Banshee.

  7. It's not exactly difficult for someone who knows what they're doing to hit MR2 pretty quickly, but as a new player, you shouldn't really expect to yourself.  Most likely the person you saw was either someone who plays the game heavily who decided to start from scratch, has a friend who's progressed farther who helped them level-grind like crazy, or looked up the most efficient leveling method and asked in recruiting for help.

MR is really a pretty meaningless stat as far as judging a players capabilities goes, so you really don't need to worry about it until you need to increase it for weapons.

  8. After you complete "Chains of Harrow your operator will randomly become possessed and show up somewhere on your Liset after you return from a mission.  I'm guessing that's what happened.

I'm guessing that's what happened and you just missed it when looking around.

That is enough to figure out the time between the two and when it could be expected again. That's the start of a pattern.

No, it really isn't.  If it were consistent three times, then it would be reasonable to think maybe there's a pattern, but even that could easily be coincidence and it would be more reasonable to assume that until proven otherwise.

As players who have watched Warframe develop since the original release, what are your personal opinions about Nightwave?

I like it.  As annoying as grind can be, I definitely prefer grinding for the items that used to be alert rewards over hoping I happen to be able to play when an alert for something pops up like before.  there's also the fact that I play much more regularly since it's addition that I did before.

Also how'd you get the master title?

It's just part of the Founder's package.  There were four tiers at varying prices: Disciple, Hunter, Master, and Grand Master.  Whichever tier you bought you got as a forum title.

Maybe I'm mistaken, but I remember hearing that the Wolf Cred currency will expire at the end of each Nighwave series. As we seem to be in the final chapter of the Saturn Six series, how much time do we actually have to cash out? The Cred Offerings page still shows "New Offerings in..." with a timer, so I'm unclear on whether I should save my hard-earned cred for another shop rotation or "use it or lose it" as I recall DE saying.

As of now all we know is that "Wolf of Saturn Six" won't end until may 15, which probably means that is the earliest the wold credits will expire.  There is a chance it'll go longer than that, but as long as you assume it'll end then and use them before that you won't lose anything.  As for the "New Offerings in..." timer, the selection of skins, helmets, and auras available rotate every week while the other rewards remains the same, so saving your wolf credits is only useful if there's a specific aura, skin, or helmet you're hoping will show up.

On 2019-04-24 at 7:08 PM, mdoucet said:

Secondary to that, beyond the general sense of prestige for ranking up past 30, is there any reason to keep going if you have the shop items you want and don't need more Wolf Creds?

There's no reason to rank up past 30 besides extra Wolf Cred and bragging rights.

What part of the game you disliked at the start?

How limited the base selection of colors were, and the time-locking of things through the foundry.

Hum... What do you hate and like more about being a founder ?

What I hate would be entitled Founders (give the rest of us a bad rep) and Founder-haters.  Both are fairly rare, but they make life difficult whenever they show up.  What I like would be knowing that I supported the game at a crucial time in it's development.  Of the material gain from being a founder rather than the in-game items, my favorite would probably be the T-shirt that they mailed to Masters and Grand Masters.

How salty are you when playing the game/reading the forums?

When playing the game almost never.  When on the forums, almost daily, but it has nothing to do with my status as a founder.  Anyone who has played as long as I have (and honestly, often people who haven't) would be equally salty about the things that make me so.

    3 hours ago, Dr_Wonderful said:

What mastery rank are you guys? Do you guys think players with very high MR are generally better indicator of commitment to the game than founder status?

Just hit 18 last week.  I don't consider either one to be a good indicator, for much the same reason's as @Corvid gave.  I've seen founders who can barely play the game.  I've seen MR20+ players who basically can't play the game, and MR10- players who are amazing.  I've been hoping for an overhaul of the way Mastery works for a while now.  If I had to choose one as being a better indicator than the other, I'd say mastery, but again, neither one really indicates anything useful

I think we're well past that at this point. All we need now is someone to officiate my coronation as the new lord of the AMA.

Would you accept DE re-releasing Poster-Boy Prime ?

Personally I wouldn't mind it, that being said, my reasons are selfish, if Excal Prime comes back, that probably means Founders as a whole comes back, which would give me the chance to upgrade to Grand Master which I couldn't afford before.  But as @Corvid already mentioned, DE's already said no to this on many occasions.

    5 hours ago, (PS4)Cephalon_Hope said:

I wonder if DE regrets how they handled Poster-Boy Prime, I mean, they basically locked the Prime version of their most popular Warframe behind a 6 year old prison XD

But since we are in a question theme, how do you feel about self entitled founders ? I mean the ones who ask for additional content for the Founders that didn't come whit the Founders Program.

"Most popular" might be a bit of a stretch, but I do agree with you, it was handled pretty poorly.

I personally believe entitlement reflects poorly on anyone, especially those who who act entitled despite already having more than others.

oh, shoot, that was over a year ago! well they said it won't be fixed "anytime soon." any time in the future from today isn't any time soon from that post. I wonder how close they are to fixing it? they know multiplayer online communities live for fashion!

I feel like they said during a recent devstream that they plan to fix it as part of melee 3.0, but I can't remember for sure.

    Wait what!?

Isn't this not possible as well?

Apparently you're right, I guess my memory's just garbage.  I was sure I remembering seeing the option, but not using it because didn't own any pistol skins.

  17. You can use skins on Kitguns, it's only Zaws they won't work on.  Apparently it's currently impossible with Zaws because their hitbox relies on the weapons model.  I'm pretty sure DE said they're working on fixing it though.

EDIT, here's the link to when someone from DE first explained it.

Do people get salty when they see your Excal Prime and ramble on about how Excal Umbra is better?

I don't often play with random players, but the few times I've brought Excal Prime I received no comment on it either way.  I don't think I've actually used him since Umbra released though, so I can say for sure I haven't had anyone compere the two.

was purchasing the founder´s pack werf it?

With the privilege of hindsight I'd say it definitely was, this somewhat leads into another question though:

When Warframe first started, I could not see the game surviving, or taking it seriously.

What did you see in it differently to become a GM Founder?

I'm Only a Master, rather than a Grand master like the one you asked, so hopefully you don't mind me answering this as well.

I really didn't think it through at all when I first bought a founder pack.  In hindsight, It was probably somewhat foolish on my part to throw money at a small low-budget game made by a small developer that, if I had had any sense, I would've expected to fail, but seeing what the game has become since then, I don't regret it in the least.

Thanks everyone for the answers... I love this games community.

@_Mannaroth_, I will try that. Thanks. The thing is, I don't have any good secondaries, from the start of the game, I didn't really focus my attention to secondaries. So, I only have super basic mods and my atmos or my dex furis are my best secondaries. And my best secondaries can't really kill 30+ enemies. So, I need a damaging primary. So, my question is, can I replace ignis with my phantasma? My phantasma is way more powerful than my ignis. Thank you again everyone for all the answers (sorry this is super long)

I'm not the person you were asking, but I'll answer what I can.

If you didn't focus on secondaries you really should start working on them, some of the best weapons currently available are secondary weapons.  As it is now, if you can get a decent build on them the Dex Furis could probably get you through the fight, but yo'll probably have to farm and upgrade some mods for them.

I can't say for sure, as I've never used it, but the Phantasma probably won't work.  The reason the Ignis is recommended is because the fire spreads over distance and will go through the spinning plate to hit all the lights, Neither of which (as far as I know) are done by the Phantasma.  It's secondary fire might work, and might be worth trying if you want to, but it seems unlikely to me.

@GnarlsDarkley, I'm lacking damage and I don't really understand the fight. So, thanks for your tips!

I hate to say it, but If you're lacking damage than it might be something you should just give up on for now and come back to once you have better stuff.

Just out of curiosity, what Warframe are you using for the fight?

  20. 11 minutes ago, iLightning13 said:

I'd have to disagree with you. Wukong's deluxe concept came with a concept for a new staff. This may be a weapon skin, but considering how Wukong's exalted weapon is a staff, I believe this is a new model for his exalted weapon itself:

    s1SjOo6.png

I had forgotten about that concept, I stand corrected.

    11 minutes ago, iLightning13 said:

Also, if we look at other deluxe skins such as Atlas and Nidus, some of their abilities (Rumblers and Virulence) received visual changes despite them not being constantly visible, and Exalted Blade is considered an ability. This would also logically apply to all the older deluxe skins, as many do not have any tweaked abilities.

I don't think the fact it's not constantly there really applies when there's many exceptions to that rule.

I don't really use Atlas, so I can't speak for him, but as someone who uses Nidus very heavily, I haven't noticed any difference between his skins, although I could be misremembering.

I do want to add that I don't necessarily dislike your idea, I just find it unlikely.  While you are right about occasional changes to powers with deluxe skins, they are usually applied to powers where the changes are immediately noticeable (like with Rumblers, which are kind of hard to miss), whereas pretty much the only time you're going to notice the shape of Exalted Blade is if you're specifically looking at it.  It just seems like too small a change for it to be worth the work.

  21. 1 hour ago, iLightning13 said:

So with Mesa's deluxe skin, we got a custom model for her regulators. I assume that the same thing will happen with Wukong's staff when his deluxe comes out. Garuda also seems to be getting a new skin for her "exalted-lite" talon weapons.

Pretty sure the only reason Mesa's Regulators and Garuda's Talons look different is because they are visible at all times (i.e. are actually part of the skin) and are not only visible when active like Exalted Blade.  With that in mind, I tend to doubt Exalted Blade (or Wukong's staff, or any other exalted weapon that isn't attached to the 'Frame when inactive) will get any major visual changes.
