I enjoy the Joy Spiral aesthetic so much that I just had to see what it would look like with billions of times more polygons, path-traced in Blender. Scene required 9.6 GB of RAM to render, and is not safe for game engines (Except maybe UE5 with Nanite). This scene is an amalgamation of a waterfall feature in the Upperhaven, combined with the smallish pond feature of the Watershed Hamlet. https://www.artstation.com/artwork/RyxqEy

I would like to see Tennogen animations. Why not?
Mikhael222 replied to Skaale's topic in TennoGen + Steam Workshop
I'd have to agree. Also, the value a brief animation has may be too low for all of the trouble involved (the Steam Workshop process, game devs implementing it, etc). In-game animations are very cheap in regards to the platinum cost, so to charge a similar cost of $0.50 or less for Tennogen animations wouldn't be worth it to DE, unless they were guaranteed to sell millions....which they aren't. The animations would have to be really "far out there" to catch anyone's interest, and at that point, you run into Aruquae's point of breaking the game immersion.- 4 replies

Dagath & Qorvex Files Now Available: TennoGen
Mikhael222 replied to [DE]CoreyOnline's topic in TennoGen + Steam Workshop
Hi Corey, I have a few submitted items awaiting acceptance/rejection. I'm not very experienced in the TennoGen process, so I was wondering how I find out if I'm accepted, rejected, or if there is an "interest with revisions needed" kind of issue. Any information on this would be appreciated. Thanks. -

Am I the only one who thought of this scene from Toy Story 2 when the Murmur was first teased? Also, Toy Story 2 was released in 1999, which is pretty ironic.

Community mods deleting comments and silencing the opinions of one side of the issue......."antagonism toward a specific group"......That would also be bigotry. But the mantra of woke mind virus says, "bIgOtRy Is OnLy WhEn ThE hOmOpHoBeS cOmMeNt," so those who suffer from it act accordingly and fail to see the double standard.

Update 35 is Like an Artisan Vase - Pretty, but Empty
Mikhael222 replied to Mikhael222's topic in General Discussion
Okay sorry. Let me clarify since no one reads the original post in its entirety. The *story* is empty, but the rest of the content is great. I edited my previous comment. Happy now? -
Update 35 is Like an Artisan Vase - Pretty, but Empty
Mikhael222 replied to Mikhael222's topic in General Discussion
1. I never said it was *all* empty. I said the story was empty. 2. I actually am having a lot of fun. I just think there was also a lot of wasted potential in both the story and the book's mechanics. Now that I can agree with. Pretty great how stable it is for the first day. -
I could be wrong, but I don't believe Steam actually saves your Warframe account data - maybe some of it, like info for Tennogen-related content, but that's about it. Warframe accounts are on Warframe's servers, not Steam's. Steam is probably just saying that because that's what it's programmed to attempt to do for all games.

Update 35 is Like an Artisan Vase - Pretty, but Empty
Mikhael222 replied to Mikhael222's topic in General Discussion
You do realize you agreed with two points in my "Ups" section; right? lol -
This update gave me mixed feelings.... Downs: 1. Warframe's storytelling is definitely not where it once was.......I, of course, refer to the quality and intrigue of Second Dream, the War Within, and the Sacrifice. Whispers in the Walls feels more like a shallow/brief introduction to a new tileset. It could have been so much deeper. 2. The tome is cool, but I feel like more should/could be done with it. Spellcasting is generally understood to be a more mentally-complex pursuit. The current "point-and-shoot" use is good to have for ease of use in fast-paced combat, but I think the tomes should be able to do more interesting things in future updates. Perhaps with certain codes or conditions, you could do more, such as: A. Hack terminals remotely B. Send enemies into confusion, killing each other C. Summon a void entity D. Buff allies / Debuff enemies E. Fun/Harmless pranks on other players F. Really, there is a myriad of possibilities...... 3. Overall, the main negative impression of the update can be summed up as: A Waste of Potential. Ups: 1. The new environments look fantastic. 2. Haven't tried all the new mission types yet, but I'm glad they exist and have read positive reviews about them already. 3. So ready to get more of those new decorations into my possession. 4. Qorvex. I know some people were down on him from the devstream, but I'm actually excited/optimistic about playing with him when I get him.

Twitch Drops Stops - Warframe Sevagoth / TGA
Mikhael222 replied to Raarsi's question in Players helping Players
Unlinking wasn't working. I used a different browser to unlink and relink. Got the Twitch drop immediately afterward. -
I claimed mine and still didn't get it. Warframe won't let me unlink my account to relink to Twitch because the site is buggy.

Bring back all (other) payment options to your merch store!
Mikhael222 replied to 0phiuchus's topic in General
I'd like the option to pay for my Warframe content with Rai stones, but I didn't see an option anywhere for that either. -
I agree that the wares in the Focus schools could be padded out with more content. Glyphs would be a perfect addition. It'd really be cool if each focus school also had its own syandana.

Hildryn's magnificent, infested Tennogen
Mikhael222 replied to (PSN)RomDog2648's topic in TennoGen + Steam Workshop
This Tennogen submission has 93 awards and 1.69% of visitors who favorited. By contrast, led2012 - one of the most accepted Tennogen artists - had an average Steam award earnings of 19.6 awards per item, and 1.54% of visitors who favorite. So, if not the community's wishes, what is DE primarily basing their decision to accept/reject Tennogen submissions on? -

I had that problem too. I sent a support ticket with a screenshot of proof of reward. It's TBD on what will become of that. -

Do you know what channel packing is and how to do it? There are some videos on YouTube that could show you various techniques, but I prefer using Blender's Separate/Combine RGBA nodes. Red = Primary Green = Secondary Blue = Tertiary Alpha = Accents When you're done, every part of the image except for the accents will be completely invisible (transparent) because those alpha values are 0. Yet, despite the alpha value being 0, the RGB values are preserved.

The Helminth has got to have a role here somewhere. Maybe it's like the queen of the warframe hive, spitting baby warframes out of its body.
