  1. Old ones, was in a hive mission and tried looking for caches, apparently, one of the caches were bugged, to add salt, I couldn't identify what was a cache and what was a locker.

One of the "lockers" I opened turned out to be a cache with a loud noise, but only after opening every single locker. I can't tell if they're open as well.

  2. Didn't knew that the consoles had the same thing, always been convinced that copying account details to another platform existed besides GTA V.

I'm quite sure that tennogen's available on all platform, I'd normally assume that it'll be on the switch as well. Even if it'll cost plat, it falls to a certain issue, more grinding for something I have to get on both PC and Switch.

There's no "decide which one you want to use", there's just when do you want to send your account over. I can only see it as difficult as their servers would have to constantly update my switch's account info if I made any progress in PC, which is already not advisable yet I somewhat want it to reduce the grind I'll need to do.

It's a burnout, it'll take a long while to recover from it.

    2. you wont have your tennogen on switch since its a steam only thing, and they dont really have them anywhere else, and if they have theyre the old ones, not the new, and they usually cost plat

    3. theres technical reason why you cant do that, you should decide which one you want to use

    4. if youre burn out, why even bother? the game didnt change its core mechanic, its still the same as it was months ago, if you disliked back then and got burnt out, you going to have the same experience once again, maybe even faster since you can just play it on switch, having a single account for both wont solve the issue

  3. I appreciate that we are allowed to copy and paste our accounts, but only once and that's fine(?) as other platforms don't get such a luxury.

My only issue with it is that if I were to send my account over now, it'll be separated and I'll have to do 2x the grind which is even more annoying, I've taken a break for months after a burn out and still am.

Aesthetics wise, my tennogen items that I've bought, what if I were to buy more on PC? Looking at the information given, it'll be completely separated by then, does this mean that I'll have to pay 2x for the tennogen or any cosmetics further on for both my switch and PC accounts? This just raised the amount of grind by far, I'll enjoy the thought of rivens being disabled, but albeit confused on the border on which part to _ is heavily taxing and will cause an issue.

My incredibly odd suggestion would be to "Update" an account to share my progress over PC to the switch, which is even more taxxing therefore I'd prefer if it was only PC to be able to update information of said account to the switch.

I do not want to grind immensely for warframe on the switch, I'd like to pick it up and do a random genocide in a mission from time to time while away from my PC, I'd stick with splatoon 2, MK8 and such to entertain myself with the switch.

The switch isn't a console I'd suggest to be a full time grind console, it has a battery life and I'm not going to stare at a TV everyday, the grind scares me onto this border of "Do I want to continue with this or avoid it completely even though I like the idea of playing warframe on the go"

May be biased to "avoid it completely" for how I'm still burnt out.

  4. The Pre stalker for most players is still broken as he spams invisibility, being unable to be interacted with aside from abilities that hone in such as slash dash. All AOE and target abilities will have 0 effect as stalker spams invisibility I frames.

Shooting the stalker doesn't work either as the stalker's iframes also affect weapons while being able to "phase" through bullets for a short period after casting invisibility, which makes it impossible to hit if it spams invisibility while still being able to attack.

See, this is why we should all be embracing internet standard time and start listing it with the regular broadcasting times.

Usually, new things tend to confuse people, similar to how the concept of common core math is misunderstood and meant to be a teaching tool, not a examination tool.

I googled internet standard time and was incredibly confused that it introduced beats as a time.

I preferred using a timezone such as "Coordinated Universal Time" making it 10:20 P.M. 18th of July of being posted right now instead of mine, 6:20 A.M. 19th of July

Yes but that's the only information they have to make their assumptions of what could happen. If anything it would be twitch fault as their drop system does not have the capacity to handle what happened yesterday.

I'm not quite sure on how it works but, during the twitch drop campaign, especially the first, there were multiple people watching warframe partners to get the drops, and there were a lot of em including myself going afk for the loot.

There was definitely a lot of people during that period especially how they don't need to watch the official streams. I'm not quite sure if it's DE or Twitch now.

Not really... It's pretty unfair to criticise DE like that I reckon..!

Think about it.. 32 million losers is simply the registered amount right? Like @Demon_Karris says.. Obviously not all of those losers are still playing! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Also if you just check the Steam statistics for the game, Warframe gets about 50k-60k users every month on avg, with a peak of 129k just last month. I don't know what their statistics are for playstation or xbox, but I'm guessing probably not nearly as much as PC.. But it's fine, let's highball is and say 100k peak for each console. Combined that's almost 450k players.

Look, I don't know what their actual statistics are, but that little estimation doesn't seem too unfair. And so DE getting 350k people watching their stream online? That's really awesome, and it's completely understandable if DE says they didn't expect it. Afterall.. assuming they have 450k active players across all platforms then DE got not 1%, but almost 80% of their playerbase watching their stream online. That's pretty damn awesome wouldn't you agree...? So cut them some slack! ^_^ They're constantly trying to give us 110% after all.

I'm not too keen about cutting some slack, but it's still possible.

There were similar issues on past Twitch streams and still had issues with drops and I'd at least expect that they would anticipate a similar issue to occur again. Similar how I tend to brace for upcoming waves of bugs that would be filtered but still add to the pile on any majour updates.

It may be bots as well since it's free with just time to spend.

How many viewers they have on regular streams? how many viewers they had on the tennocon stream of 2016 and 2017? those are the factors that they have to take on account more than the number of "registered loosers".

The regular streams were much lower.

This introduced a load of players to try watching the stream despite previous twitch drop campaigns.

    https://forums.warframe.com/topic/978761-a-issue-regarding-how-most-streams-timestamps-are-made-such-as-the-7th-of-july/?tab=comments#comment-9935521

It shows a lot of viewers miscalculating the time for the stream for a very long period as they weren't expected well, what I've explained in the thread.

  9. During the Sortie 3 Hyena assassination and managing to kill Hyena NG, the magnetic one, I died to it as I wasn't able to use my operator anymore.

The symptoms include the gauge for the amp shots to not regenerate in void mode while void dashing still gave energy for longer void mode. After dying in void mode and sent back to my frame, the gauge for void mode was empty and I couldn't switch to my operator. Which then led to failing the mission as I ran out of revives as a harrow with very much useless weapons against the hyena as they're elemental weapons. If this is a mechanic for operator, someone please explain it to me as I've never had such an issue during Eidolon hunts aside from being completely crippled to not even attack.

I don't quite understand the magnetic procs aside from it being an aoe around the hyena.

We do not need it. People can check for themselves. It takes 5 seconds.

There is also a countdown timer (yes, with minutes and hours) in game to tell you when the stream goes live.

If people cannot figure it out, there is no helping them. Adding PT will just serve to confuse people. If someone does not know how time zones work, what will they think of having two listed?

The worst case I can think of would be warframe's unofficial official discord server to be flooded with players asking for the time and being redirected to a time conversion site. I'd think that confusing things make me investigate said thing to understand it.

It solves the issue of "people directly copying the time and timezone with 0 regard to the day and improper planning" by having people look closer.

  11. 1 minute ago, krc473 said:

Would these people have bothered to follow an external link? There is only so much you can do aside from saying:

    • Time for DE.
    • Time in Country 1
    • Time in Country 2
    • etc

There is so much, therefore I was thinking if people aren't going to check precisely on what their time is, what if more confusions added by having two timezones that are simply the opposite? Such as ET and PT being the opposites I use, having to skip a day with other people's timezones gradually reaching the 7th first, they would be quite confused on what it means for a _ hour stream. The clearing I have now would be stating ET and PT while clarifying others to check their timezones through the links you've mentioned.

It really seems like excessive hand holding, but, again, it's uncommon for many people imo unless they're accommodated with international travels which is rare in most people that hasn't touched work or even still, have touched work. (very much debatable but I'd be driving off topic immensely due to how some companies work)

I mean, I checked what time it would be for me as soon as I saw the announcement. If people are too lazy to try and figure it out for themselves that is not DE's fault or responsibility. Do people really need to be told literally everything now?

Likely yes, there's plenty of people in chat wondering when the streams starting. It's not an everyday thing where people would specifically check their timezones unless they're under work conditions planning international meetings.

Video games seem to be the stepping stones for these timezones for work as I don't see them much needed aside from common travelers.

It's interesting, because when I googled "6 PM ET" it gave me the day and time in my location. It's really not that hard to figure simple things out in this day and age.

If you do so without actually using a calculator to include the date, 6 P.M. ET will not count as "tomorrow" or "today" if you've passed the time it's meant to be, i.e. googling 6 A.M. July 7 on the 6th of July will still show 7th of July, 6 A.M for me, after watching many streams, I've simply thought that it's a day behind due to how my timezone's a day faster than ET.

The main trap imo seems to be the date, varying from 7th and 8th.

  14. 1 minute ago, krc473 said:

Just use local time for DE (i.e. ET). If someone cannot figure out that the time is in ET (as every single time they give is) then there is not much DE can do. Short of having a list of the time in each time zone on the post... People can only hand-hold so much before it is ridiculous.

    • Perhaps include a time converter prefilled with ET. And people can just add their time zone to find out.

    Example:

"Starts at 6 pm on July 7th. Click here for time zones"

That works I suppose, though, there are a lot of people live as they entered the 7th of July earlier than the ET timezone

  15. It's about stream times and how they're shown to everyone.

    https://gyazo.com/3da6d687ae97159f8faf324343b929de

The chat's booming with people waiting for the stream to start; it's due to how it's shown as 6 P.M. ET. In my timezone it translates directly to 6 A.M. , in which, I should be up by 8th of July, 6 A.M. for the stream, not the 7th of July 6 A.M. .

The problem with this is that, it doesn't consider those that are on the other side of ET, as they're simply led to believe that it's universal which it wasn't and caused people to mistime their schedule.

Sure, they're dumb for not knowing but, on hindsight, I'd be very much expected that it's accurate by directly translated 7th of July 6 A.M. . The only calculation being the time and not the date as I've noticed barely anyone does so even though ET had a meaning.

At best, a solution I could think of would be to have ET and PT timezones shown, as they're both opposites and people could figure out what's the difference between ET and PT to figure out their dates.

a solution I thought of involved using Coordinated universal time, however, I don't see how it solves the issue on how people's hindsight doesn't calculate the date, the other for this would be to show a 7-8 Date that varies from timezone, which will cause even more confusion unless clarified through "7th of July 6 P.M. ET and 8th of July 6 A.M. PT". I'd say use ET and PT as they're simply opposites and the rest are in the middle between timezones of ET and PT which would be a hassle.

  16. That's odd, I don't recall limbo affecting enemies being spore'd by Saryn.

At best, if the enemy isn't dying from saryn, but still proc'd, saryn can simply bullet jump on said enemy to keep spreading it.

But, I'm quite certain that Stasis did not block abilities damaging, such as saryn.

Cataclysm's a bit iffy to touch, I'm assuming that the 30% dmg reduction is what I see as a dmg reduction to all that isn't obeying the rift.

Though, I mostly have an issue with the rift not interacting with enemies properly.

Banish Augment: When a team mate is banished they permanently inherit Limbo's passive.

That seems pretty simple to me. Useful enough to justify its spot. Helps your team more than yourself.

This, I like, but I don't like it being an augment mod as augment mods are more of a band aid. This still prevents players under "normal" circumstances if said limbo doesn't own that augment. Instead of it being permanent, have it be linked to duration else that seems a bit too strong in a way.

  17. After formaing Limbo prime, I've notice that it is NOT due to Rift surge only, kicking enemies in and out of the rift quickly will cause enemies to enter said irrational state earlier in the thread. I'm certain that it's a bug now as some enemies aren't leaving the rift while as host and in solo mode despite the cataclysm closing.

Same symptoms as all issues stated.
