  1. The ability needs to be more reliable somehow. It definitely needs to be independent from the environment. Sometime in the future, there may be another big graphics change that could break it....again. Plus being at the mercy of the environment is not fun, especially for a glass cannon like mirage. I mean, imagine if you had to find electrical panels to hook into in order to use volt's abilities. It would slow things down, and slow is not really all that fun in Warframe. So ideas.... Toggle: Mirage can toggle and switch between light and dark at will. Both are at full power for mirage, but heavily, HEAVILY nerfed for helminth Or maybe make it so that the helminth can only use a nerfed version of light OR dark, but not both (maybe make it so light energy color gives the light boost, and darker energy gives the dark boost, like with Equinox's helminth ability). Changes based on damage taken: Can't take credit for this, I think that Steve mentioned this on stream. But when cast, you start at full power light, but you gradually shift to dark as you take damage. Not taking damage will gradually shift you back to light. Changes based on movement: Mirage's passive is faster maneuvering, so maybe have it be a toggle that decays when standing still, and builds up when moving. This helps to encourage a more active playstyle (which Mirage needs to stay alive in the first place). Decaying toggle: It toggles, but now decays over time from max to some lower value (ex. Starts at 300% light and decays to 150% over time) The ability can be recast to reset the decay Potential synergy: Casting one of Mirage's other abilities also resets (or partially resets) the decay but does not extend the duration (Does not apply to Helminth version) Charge pump: The ability can be toggled, but now the initial light and dark values are much lower. In exchange, you can pump energy into the ability when casting for a higher value (up to a cap). The result is you still get the massive damage (or damage reduction), but you need to sacrifice more energy, or use less energy for a more modest boost. That is all I got for now. What do you all think?
