First scan you can only activate one of the "rods", and after 8 eyes the rod is "used up". Kill enemies within the radar circle to speed up the appearance of the eyes, and kill any enemies close to the rod or it'll stop the timer for the next eye-spawn.

From the second time onwards you can (and should) place down multiple rods at the same time, speeding up the process. Also keep killing enemies as fast as possible. If you're quick you can do 60 eyes in less than 10 minutes.

I tried to hug the walls and collect them by hand :-) I'll give this a try...

  2. Since I was caught pants down, when the Xoris in the Protea story mission refused to work half the way in, I found out that the throw/explode mechanic works differently depending on the "melee"-mode you're in.

In melee or quick-attack mode you can use the throw/explode with Heavy Attack.
Grabbing the secondary weapon or going out of ammo, you're forced into dual wielding and Heavy Attack does nothing. Throw/explode  with charge attack instead.

This wasn't explained in the mission and I rage quitted quite a few times, because the thing seemingly stopped working. Is there any good reason for this?

  3. The story mission tells me to hole E to charge the Xoris up, throw and explode it, but If I hold "E" (same if I tap it quickly) the frame instantly throws the disc and it returns before I have the chance to explode it. The stoy mission seems to be impossible to solve this way.

Anyone having a clue what's going on or how to resolve this?

  4. I'm doing the Sortie solo to prevent host migrations and similar stuff. So I'm facing the new Jackal and I don't seem to get it:

I destroy a leg, Parazon it & Jackal's health goes down. So far so good.
I destroy another a leg, Parazon it  & nothing happens. WTF?
I destroy another a leg, and the option to Parazon? It doesn't appear.

I tried several times and besides the first "bar" of healt nothing seems to work reliable.

Any clues what I do wrong, or is it bugged?

Try out crossing snakes, it's not as bad as something like new tempo royale. On of the best new stances is definitely blind justice, correctly used it makes you faster instead of slowing you down.

Honourable mention goes out to rending crane, the only way so i dont want to use a heavy blade on myself. No lifted status and the normal forward combo actually goes forward.

Rending Crane and Crossing Snakes really go in the right direction. I guess I'll need some more practice to make blind justice work. Thanks.

If you can mod up a regular sword with no stance, it'll use the good ol' one-two quick attack of yore, too. (Iron Phoenix IIRC also has that combo but you have to at least be holding forward for that particular one to trigger)

Iron Phoenix is kinda fun and forward is exactly the right direction anyways (well most of the time 😉 ).

I've been using slide attacks more lately, having avoided them since they got nerfed a while back.  Slide attacks move me through enemy clusters and out the other side, ready switch back to guns.

Coptering is back 🙂 Yeah, this works, but it also forces me to move in a specific way, instead of "good old" Quick-Attack everywhere, but at least I'll have a good Idea, it's gonna be the direction I want.

For claws, Vermillion Storm.  Cyclone Kraken for machete.   Blind Justice for nikana is also pretty good, but not as free as the others.

Vermillion Storm, works well. I had to put some effort into actually getting Cyclone Kraken and I thought I'd never say this, but Machetes are kinda fun now, wow.

My favorite stance by far is Sovereign Outcast for tonfas. I have something like 40 different melee weapons fully forma with rivens, each one of them does the job, but none feel quite right compared to my Kronen Prime. Just progressing through a mission I do forward combo with a slide attack thrown in to cover ground a little quicker. The forward block combo has excellent range, I get ~12m on the initial throw with a range riven. It also staggers enemies, which I find it useful in specific scenarios. For tougher enemies where I need to melee in place I can do the forward combo followed by a spin attack while holding back. It's like 2 steps forward and 1 big step back all while staying in melee range. It also hits a lot, really fast. Great for building up combo, applying status or healing with healing return.

I guess I'll have to invest some practice here to, to make it work. I'll give it a try. Thank you.

  6. I don't like melee any more. Sure the Damage-Output is awesome, but for me it breaks the flow of Warframes otherwise super fluid movement. Before the rework I could circumvent this, running around, using Quick-Attack only. But Quick-Attack is gone. Melee brings me directly into a fullgrown attack mode and with every second attack, I now trigger some combo that either stops me back in my tracks or forces my movement directions I did not intend.

The only stance / weapon combination that's still somewhat bearable to me in this regard is Shimmering Blight for polearms. Still not as good as good old Quick-Attack but kinda OK and Polearms in general are pretty good weapons. However I'd like to have some more variation in melee than just using polearms, so: Is there a other stance for other weapons which allows for spamming attacks without constantly triggering motion-killing combos?

Or is there an option I overlooked to bring back Quick Attack?

  7. People often go in to farm very specific rewards. Say Meso Relics on Helene and Neo on Hydron. For these players it's just not worth-while to stick around longer than Round 10, because they'd have to wait another 10 rounds to get back to their desired rewards.

(Actually, for all these people I'd say: Do Captures in the Void for 3-4 Relics instead of 2 in 10 Minutes, but it seems that's to stressful for some of them).

I think it could perhaps be a bit better with scaling rewards. Say each "full" rotation the rewards are weighted a little more towards the high End (Relics and rare stuff instead of yet another 50 Endo), so players are actually rewarded for staying longer instead of just restarting the mission.

  8. Defended the Uplink in Space for 45 Minutes. Didn't receive a single code. The only thing that changed, was a counter running down from ~12000 to ~4000.

Would love to see a ground mission directly connected to my mission or the other way around. The way it currently works (or doesn't work, as in my case) sucks hard.

As a temporary workaround on the Warframe shortcut, right click -> Properties -> Compatibility -> "Change high DPI settings" and on the bottom under "High DPI scaling override" tick the box "Override high DPI scaling behavior." and select Scaling performed by: System, or System (Enhanced). This will make Windows do the scaling for the Launcher as the Chromium framework it uses seems to have issues with the scaling right now.

I have no shortcut for it. Using these Settings on Warframe.x64.exe doesn't help in my case.

idk void fissures in the void never made sense to me anyway

I thought about Orokin (or their machinations) warring among themselves. But hey, I would love to see some lore on void fissures in general (Are there still Orokin hiding in the void, sending out their troops for recon or provisions?  Are the fissures the result of leftover AIs, still following some reclamation protocols, for their dead masters? Is it some freak accident of a void tower crossing borders with reality?).
