    I personally see little point to threads like this, like many here as well.

     

    That little agreement we all signed when first starting the game entitles DE to make these changes without prior announcement.

    Folks need to just learn to roll with the punches a bit, ya know :P

  2. Me thinks the mod thinks I was a bit too harsh in my last post. Even though it wasn't anything bad.

     

    Anywho, I wouldn't choose to play with anyone like you Zukofury, because it seems to me you don't actually have a good way to articulate your thoughts to begin with. Seems you're throwing everyone off with your way of thinking, because it simply isn't logical from what I can see.

     

    Case in point, things will be nerfed and buffed left and right till things settle in a nice medium. That's how many games with a large online community are, and probably always will be. No need to get all worked up over it. If your favorite weapon/frame gets nerfed a bit, try playing with others for a change. You might actually enjoy the game more.

    DE, take notice of this, and use that charging animation or something very similar to it, for the railgun. Something about pulling energy particles from around the gun just looks freakin awesome. DO IT

  4. Ohh they can REALLY take some inspiration from Armored Core as a hole in terms of designs and such.

     

    Btw, ForAnswer was probably the best out of them all in terms of gameplay. Last Raven was the best for story, because damn those Pulverizers >_>

     

    EDIT: if DE decides to call a weapon Moonlight or Karasawa I will forever play warframe.

  5. Not to completely steal the thread, but Armored Core needs to come back big time. Was, is, and still will be my all time favorite game ever to have been around.

     

    But yes, I want the railgun to have the SAME CHARGING style as that plasma gun. That thing just wrecks city blocks at a time lul

     

    PS: I think FROMSOFTWARE(armored core makers, along with Demons'/Dark Souls) make some of the best CGI on the market. These guys with a company of 231 people put industrial light and magic(cgi makers for many holywood movies) to shame.

  6. Ok so I own every single Armored Core game, and been playing them since the ps1 days back in 97.

    His gun is actually a plasma rifle, using rail gun tech to propel its plasma bolts. It's actually not that powerful ingame, but it manages to pack I believe it was 40 rounds of use. Now, the railgun should pack only a few rounds, but pack enough power behind it to down a head from the derelic golem in one shot.

  7. Hey guys, I found another glitch/bug in the tenno ship actually.

     

    I have screenshots of it, but for some reason there's no link in here to post them up.

     

    Anyway. here goes: if you pet the kubrow, but press E really fast multiples times the kubrow then gets stuck in the middle of the lower ship room. He then performs the same animations as if he's in the breeding machine area.

     

    Now this is where it gets interesting, as when he's in the middle of the room you can perform a "stealth kill" attack on him if you press E while behind him. The warframe does the stealth kill animation on him but does no damage to the doggy.

    I'm only playing god knows why, performance as been S#&$ since 11.5 for some users like myself. 

     

    I'm with you on the 11.5 update dropkicking performance in the junk.

  9. memory is all Texture Filtering uses. the extra Cycles are extremely insignificant. an average spec machine can expect to see a 1FPS drop between no Texture Filtering and 4/8x Anisotropic.

     

    i don't speak opinions when i talk about technology. only facts about how these technologies operate.

     

    Gonna have to stop you there with this one, because you're pretty wrong. Texture filtering does not play well even with higher end machines like mine. In certain games, including Warframe for me, if I turn on texture filtering up to 16x fps takes a nosedive of around 15 to 45fps. That's a decent chunck of frames gone, and all because of texture filtering. Mind you, my current rig is an i7 4770, nvidia 760gtx, 8gb dd3 1600, and a solid state samsung hdd.  

     

    I also use nVidia's control panel to override the settings any and all games try to put up with the ones I want. 

  10. Alright so me and a friend just tried running T3 MD in order to get the last ember prime part we needed, the systems. 

     

    He hosted the mission 3 times, and each time the mission crashed for everyone. 

    I then hosted the mission 4 times in a row, each time the mission crashed for everyone yet again.

    We then had another friend of ours host the mission 2 times, and it crashed again and again. 

     

     

    WHAT THE FLUFF IS GOING ON HERE?? We ran EXT, DEF, and CAP void missions before it just fine without a single issue.

     

    Come on now, this is such total crap as we can't even run the mission half way through without it crashing. 

  11. This is the room with the circular pattern in the middle around the tree where the self deployed covers pop up. Along with the 4 stair cases leading down from the sides to the center of the room where the tree is. 

     

    It also murders my FPS quite badly, and I avoid running in at all times. When enemies spawn in that room as well, it simply cripples gameplay when having to run around between 15 to 20 fps. This is coming from a quad core rig with an Nvidia 760gtx superclocked. 

  12. That one huge room with all the branches across and the large bottomless pit in the middle absolutely needs to be dropped from the Survival tile list. It's horrendous for both the AI and the players to try to navigate it. Not to mention that the air cans are more likely to drop down into the abyss than land on something solid.

     

    This is probably one of the worst things about the ODS survival runs too, because in missions where that room is the "center" room so to say without a nekros we barely break 10mins, if that.

  13. I know that nekros is a godsend to ODS, but it shoulnd't be REQUIRED in order to keep going past 20 mins or so right?

     

    I ran some more ODS yesterday night and we went 3 times to the 1 hour mark, and that was only possible because someone brought a nekros with. 

    Plus getting credits at 45 mins in, is just an insult. Especially 5000 credits.

  14. I've noticed that now with U12 here and deployed, ODS has become really annoying to play overall.

     

    Here's the main problem with it: the oxygen drops are non-existent almost. 

    I ran the mission with my buddies yesterday not 5, but 20 times in order to try to make it past 20 minutes or so, and each time the oxygen ran out because there were no enemies or oxygen drops.

     

    This is now officially silly, and you guys need to look into it please.

     

    Make the enemies spawn faster, make the oxygen drops actually drop, or do both. 

     

  15. Question 1: Is there any chance we can have a mech themed frame soon? Im talking something along the lines of an ArmoredCore look to it.

     

    Question 2: Would it be possible for warframes to receive more than just tribal style skins as decorations? I'm referring to armor plating that's for show only, and doesn't add any actual stats. 

  16. Looks like artifacting to me, so that means DX11 is causing your card to artifact. More or less that happens when the temps are too high(not in your case), or when the ram on the card fails to load textures properly. My guess is that DX11 is not allowing the textures to display properly while being fed to the card's RAM, and producing corrupt images.
