Not really. Ever since resource deposits became a thing it became largely unnecessary. Also, things like Ivara + Lua sentients gets you covered for neurodes, Kuva survival gets you covered for neural sensors, Gallium is a non issue due to dropping in 2-3 at a time, Orokin cells are covered if you affinity farm at Helene, morphics are everywhere, and control modules are a non issue.

And chances are nobody is gonna run boss fights hundreds of times.

Once you get all 3 warframe parts (or weapon parts, in the case of Vor/Lech Krill), you're practically done with the boss for good unless it's in a sortie.

    Resource farming over time.

Yeah, thoughts and prayers is the normal response to death these days.

    "My cat died"

    Thoughts and prayers!

    "My car wont start"

    Thoughts and prayers!

    "I have cancer"

    Thoughts and prayers!

"Hey Jeff, can you get me a roll of toilet paper?

    Thoughts and prayers....

    "Jeff? You there? Hello?"

The chances of encountering people like that in WF is extremely rare because of the majority of the community having a rep of being very nice. Just ignore them and report them if you have to and move on. Always look to the future not past.

Why haven't I won the lottery yet?

    Sad day.

    Should we hold a memorial?

    Or is it a funeral?

    A remembrance?

    Thoughts and Prayers?

    A candlelight vigil?

No, people die everyday. It's normal.

    But where are her kids?

    Did she eat them?

    Did the Infested eat them?

Are Warframes fertile and possessing functioning reproductive organs?

    How is the sex working?

Oh chickens, did we eat her kids??

Her kids never made it past 2.

Seriously, am I really not allowed to just post a meme to respond to this, mods? C'mon! There's no actual answer that could possibly express my shock and disgust at this line of thinking.

Anyway, I'm sorry the ribbon being that color is hurting your feelings so much, you're right, we should never do things to help others or raise awareness in video games because we are trying to have fun, not be boooored with these stupid causes.

The ribbon serves as a cosmetic in the game, and should be color-able like other cosmetics. Your projections of my "feelings" are irrelevant. The Premise of my first post was that if the community wanted the ribbon to have different colors, DE will make that happen - like what happened with Lato Vandal, and Excal Prime getting buffed.

I'm not allowed to answer posts with animated gifs or memes to express my frustration and roll my eyes at the absurdity of some lines of thinking, so... yea, okay.

The idea of the ribbon is to bring awareness. I'm up for them taking them away and charging people to rebuy them and 100% of the profits going to a leukemia org if you want to make sure leukemia patients benefit. But comparing your saltiness over the lato and braton vandal being rereleased, (which by itself I would understand,) is not even remotely close or related to something like this.

    So, so cold...

You're playing Warframe for entertainment - not sentiment towards cancer. People won't bother to ogle at your ribbon.

Yes.. Yes alpha weapons in game being rereleased is exactly like a horrible disease that kills people getting a symbol of representation anda reminder of what people go through in game.

    The struggle is real.

I could almost understand if they maybe made a special palette that could be the only way to color the ribbon that was based around various causes. However, I think even that is rather inappropriate as the purpose was to bring awareness to leukemia. It's not simple fashion frame for people to ignore the meaning of. Which makes not changing the color rather important.

Except you're not wearing those diseases. You're wearing a cosmetic that harms nobody, that players won't bother to ogle at. You're not playing Warframe to care about cancer, you're playing this game for entertainment - not sentiment towards cancer.
