    try using a shotgun instead.

Assault rifles are more bullet-hosey trash mob sweepers and,

They can go higher with proper modding though, maybe that could be your issue, improper modding.

They can, but then they'll run out of ammo.

I'm sure he'd give it a try, but one crewman wiping out his entire ship is, well... a very unlikely notion. the only crewman powerful enough to do that is John Prodman, for he has the power of memes on his side, but if we're talking regular Corpus, he'd get killed at some point by one of the hundreds of other Corpus he's up against. assuming he even lasts that long, he'd eventually run out of Ammo for his Dera and have to use a Prova, making life much harder for him.

This is what it takes to become John Prodman 2nd.

If implemented correctly, yes i would enjoy it.

Side note, the way they do it in that anime is horribly impractical. Minimum armor and ammo on the troops, and the entire pod is filled with ammo/flying drones that can individually and autonomously target enemies.

Resources would be better spent on those drones, rather than figuring out a wildly impractical way of deploying troops from inner orbit

Those are secret US assassins... They literally melt if they die, to conceal their presence. Minimal armor and ammo is there to reduce weight and increase mobility during combat. Also, keep in mind that their gear is advanced compared to what we have today, so it may not even be minimal in the first place. They're also super soldiers that have been augmented with nano machines.

Those drones are a fast, disposable method of crowd control. Their mission was to secure a group of VIPs and transport them to another location via helicopter.

Every single action, every single event that happens between us is solely and purely based on conflict, or related to it. Even events like rebuilding the dojo network or inter-tenno marriage is still connected to violence and killing. We don't have hobbies in this universe, no. When we buy or sell things, we sell weapon parts and Warframe components to further our warpath. When we even dab in fashionframe or pet ownership, it's still related to killing and slaughter (swagging yourself up so you can prove to other players how good at killing you are).

You ever wonder why Grineer bosses always villify the Tenno and call them out as genocidal monsters? Because we are monsters, in every sense of the word. Anything that stands even slightly apart from killing, such as fishing, we despise doing as a whole and do it exclusively to obtain weapons.

Well, Tenno in this game are made for War. But aside from conflicts, there exists other things, but since we're playing Warframe as a shooter-game, this is all you can expect.

There are peaceful things, like fishing, mining, scanning, and decorating.
