  1. I'd like to play some specific versions in the past that are my favorite and I think many veterans too.

A lot of players simply left because many radical changes removed what players loved and have gotten used to.

No one likes constant changes and nerfs that make getting good at this game a daily full time job.

Most players just want to learn, be good at it, and enjoy it.

It has to be possible and many people will pay for it. I'd like to play a version somewhere around melee 2.99 released in 2018.

Grind aspect is a thing that mainly deemed by many as the core activities of Warframe.

But...Many of you I found seems to be very obsess with the "omg low drop rates" "Grind boring" or something else that signals grind being a very boring and tedious thing.

And that is literally true, or too true.

    .....

It is the only advice I can give if you dont want to burn yourself out in Warfarme.

It depends. Grinding can be fun with powerful gears. It is torturing to grind with massively nerfed gears.

They did give us Praedos, Amalgam Serration, Helminth Molt, yellow shard parkour speed... which just makes it weirder to nerf operator speed.

Exactly. If something works, they shouldn't waste time/resource/energy to destroy it, then get tons of negative feedbacks and then change it back ... sort of half way baked fix.

I still miss the old Void Dash. The new Spiderman Sling is okay good enough, but old Void Dash was really fun.

it was one of the best movement systems in the game. It got the rework to get it completely nerfed with the pretext and excuse of making it more "controllable". It's been a trend since 2018 to nerf anything that's effective and fast. I don't see how the trend will change.

Trading prices are a joke on pc, now its crossplatform xbox players are being ripped off when it comes to trading with players? Does pc players get more plat for money compared to xbox? Its a joke and needs to be fixed. There is no way im trading primes sets for pc pricing. Its a quarter of the xbox price. WE DONT WANT CROSS PLATFORM and warframe will loose alot of the xbox community if this continues.

If players don’t pay up, who is going to pay the devs? Nothing is really free! Just go back to farming at 1/10 the efficiency after this market adjustment on top of nerfs on abusive mechanism for farming!

The days of XBOX players abusing this price discrepancy is finally coming to an end. You all need to pay up to buy platinum or farm 4 times as hard than because it's considered to be an abuse to do easy farming and not paying a dime for this game that still need a lot of revenue to pay for the dev team.  Be fair and be wise. Don't think for yourself, think for the hard working dev too!

Howdy,I was looking at the weapon bonus numbers that my wife and I have received, and while I’m not a statistician, I find the odds extremely low that we would be getting so many 25% bonuses.

    My wife’s rolls: 40, 55, 35, 25, 32, 30, 25, 52, 28, 29

    My rolls: 37, 51, 27, 25, 29, 25, 25

It’s my rolls that really started to make me question it.  5 rolls in a row in the 20’s, with 3 of them being 25!  5 out of our total of 17 rolls being 25.  That’s almost 30% of our rolls being the lowest possible when the odds of a 25% is 2.7%!  And 9 of the 17 rolls are in the 20’s, 53% of rolls, when getting a 25-29 is 14%.

The wiki stats: “The amount of this damage is random, ranging from 25-60%...”   I’m assuming it was an even distribution, but maybe it’s heavily weighted to the low end?

Anyone seen something similar or know that the distribution is not even?

    Thanks

Few Kuva weapons I have acquired also have very low %. This is just plain weird.

How is it a time saver to farm 25-50k of multiple resources rather than a single Cell / Sensor?

These are Blueprints you might find some use for later I guess, when you have
a stupid surplus of the other resources, but for some reason not Cells / Sensors,
but they are most certainly not an early game time saver or anything like a smart investment (ever) as far as I can tell.

It depends on how fast your early game is. I purchased Platinum and used them all to speed up everything. At early games, this is one of the resources I didn't even want to wait at all. Buying it at just 100P and then don't need ever need to worry about farming it saved me time.

Damm things are undodgeable 1 hit will that repeatedly down to wipe most of the party.

only way even possible to try to dodge is with Operator Void.

and yet this is the FIRST boss players encounter.

.. no even if this was a boss near the end of the map it  wouldn't be ok.

    remove the deathbeams.

    This message will self-destruct.

I felt the same way until I found out I should actually walk with it as it turns. It will also make a counter turn half way after turning blue again. Try this tip or should we say it's a good cheese.

I feel that blood rush may be overpowered but it should be left as it is. Warframe is a power fantasy game and it is one of the main core aspect that many people even play it, myself included. And i agree that melee is very strong compared to gus but instead of nerfing melee they should just buff guns with scaling damage instead so people will have a reason to use guns to kill and not just to prime status effects on enemies.

100%. We need to promote buffs of what is weak not nerfing!  Weapons don’t have to be equal and boring. Just buff guns! It’s really as simple as your short reply. Warframe should not be seen as a problem or problems. It’s a power fantasy game. It is a GAME. All updates should reflect this.

  11. The latest trending “problems” are melee weapons because guns are too weak. Instead of making guns stronger, extremely few but vocal players want DE to kill melee weapons. Melee weapons have gone through a massive damage massacre with Melee 3.0. Now they are going to be weakened even more? We should discuss what and how guns should be buffed and improved for more FUN, not nerfing something else.

I was afraid to see massive melee nerfs in the latest Update and wont log in with friends until reading the notes. So glad DE is getting it and did a great update to Railjack instead.

The focus of any game developers should be the game content and their fun factors, not how to destroy player base by endless nerfing.

Without wasting time to figure out how to nerf our gears and disappointing players, DE is able to overhaul Railjack and fix bugs. If DE keeps on this right path, player base will keep growing.

If everything just gets buffs and no nerfs then they just end up on the same level again but with higher numbers...that accomplishes precisely nothing.

When only a few things stand above everything else, those get nerfed down, rather than buffing everything else to compensate. When only a few things are below everything else, then you buff them to be comparable.

Exactly. DE could just make enemies smarter and harder. Nerfing is the laziest way to achieve balancing. It literally destroys the main functors of the game.

So nerfs happen. I get it. Unlike many here, I perfectly understand that any game needs balance (yes, even PVE games). So fine. I guess I'll chuck my Tremor Tombfinger and build myself a Brash one.

Except... except, dare I? DE wouldn't dare nerf the Brash Tombfinger so soon after they nerfed the Tremor one. Would they?

You see my dilemma? As I said, we all understand nerfs happen. But we figure, at the very least, if our favourite toy gets nerfed, we'll get some guilty fun out of it, right? But what if I build a brand new kitgun, gild it, potato it, forma it 3-7 times, and it gets nerfed the very same day (again)? Well, you wouldn't be happy in that situation.

If kitguns were truly modular, that is, I could switch out the components, this wouldn't be an issue at all. But here we are. As a player, I don't want to touch the new content now. And that, that is the problem here. DE should never be sending the message (explicit or otherwise), to players to avoid the new content. Maybe some playtesting before release DE?

These nerfs make players feel bad. Really bad. I used to pay and buy something every month with real money. Now? I have stopped to pay a dime to DE since last October. Not even going to pay anything even if there is 75% discount on Plat. Nerfs are almost always terrible and are telling the most royal and avid players of the game that your time and passion to build those weapons or frames don’t matter.

Honestly, I'm still pissed off that we still don't have the fluidity of motion that quick melee gave us. If I'm holding the A key while meleeing, I expect that I will continue to move left at the same pace that I do normally. If I'm holding S, I expect to move backwards constantly. Being launched forwards or getting glued to the floor every alternate step is not the input that the game is receiving, so why does it feel justified in slapping the controls out of my hands?

Forced melee mode has also made syndicate weapons completely pointless for me since you no longer get the proc while meleeing. That was why I stuck with the sanctigris even after the prime came out - because it would charge up and explode from the shared XP as my squadmates were killing things. Free debuffs, a damage burst and some minor healing as I played normally. Now? It's a flat out downgrade to the tigris prime and relegated to the pile of mastery trash.

Same here. Melee 3.0 destroyed not just damage but also fluidity of melee 2.99. Wish DE could remove these unWarframe melee 3.0 elements and restore that fluidity. I feel that DE hired some designers from other games that are very unWarframe and then put in those elements from other games into Warframe that has now made into a weird game that doesn’t feel Warframe anymore.

  15. Melee 3.0 in general is huge nerfs to what melee 2.99 could be. The heavy attacks are slow and clunky and NOT FUN. The worse of all is the reduction of max ranges of some meta melees. Why can’t DE just buff the weak ones and keep the best of each revision? Now all melee weapons feel very bland and nothing stands out. That if something is OP will get nerfed is the worse design trend since 2018. This design philosophy means anything fun will get killed and nerfed. So why bother to build up anything? I used to have a set of meta builds for all the best and most popular  melee weapons until DE killed them off one by one.
