  1. For me this is great as I am a casual player. Some of the requirements for upgrading and unlocking gear etc is too much for people like myself. I would look at the materials required and say "oh, only 5 needed, that's not too bad". Then realise that in order to get that blueprint to even make the damn things you need x amount of this other thing. It honestly grows sometimes to a point where I cry inside lol. I understand vets being a bit miffed with this but while all these updates and new features are awesome. It stretches out realistic expectations of being able to use any of these cool fun new things to the realm of unfathomable.

  2. Thank you all very much for your time and insight. I have certainly understood the point made that I shouldn't worry about it and once I'm ready for it, it won't be so bad. And as for the farming tips they are superb. I will be using them specifically when I come to doing it. I will focus a bit more on gaining XP and other activities. But again thank you all, what a wonderful and helpful community.

  3. Ok, so I'm not new to Warframe, been playing it since launch on my ps4. But one thing I have been working on lately is trying to build up my operator a bit more. So I'm still trying to max out my standard arm, projectile thingy, (can't remember it's name)...oh no wait, Amp. Sorry, so yeah trying to max that out, which is a pain because it's rubbish, and slowly garnering focus for my chosen skill tree. Now, after a fair bit of researching I have discovered that there are the way-nodes that you can permanently unlock (oh yeah baby), and make your operator so much more viable in battle. To then discover just how much focus you would require to reach that stage. My initial "dafuq' reaction was hastily replaced by outrage. I'm aware that there are a lot of vets out there that can farm ridiculous amounts of focus in a single sitting, but for a casual player like myself it's simply unobtainable. I mean c'mon DE, one MILLION focus points!!?? Who the #*!% gave that the go-ahead!? I'm having a good day if I walk away with 2000 focus after a match. I understand not wanting it to be easy but holy S#&$. Make it that you have to beat the teralyst 10 times solo, or kill 500 vomuvysts, or something, anything that is not too easy but not so hard that you have to miss an awesome ability because you simply cannot commit that much time. Please hear my cry, and at least reduce the amount required. Surely I'm not alone with this? Let me know your thoughts and if you have any tips do tell.

    Thank you

  4. I have been searching for a casual clan but all I can find are the more serious ones. Sure, I could probably join up with most clans, but the second they ask me what time I tend to play at, or what my mastery rank is, I feel instantly put off. I work a full-time job, I'm a family man, and I am currently doing an HND with assessment deadlines. I don't have a "time". Just somewhere in between being awake and being asleep. It is frustrating as although I play at random times of the day for random periods, I would like to think I'm a good warframe player. I'm certainly not the best and sometimes I have even been known to die a couple of times. The frustrating thing is that there are items you can only get from clan research which is why I would like to join a clan. I would obviously contribute. Anyway, I just wanted to know if anybody could point me in the direction of a casual clan that would be kind enough to send me an invite?

    Thank you for reading

  5. What I mean is that we have transference in to the warframe. Well what if our warframe could step in to something? Like an exo-suit idea? Maybe different types? One could be armored another could have cannons... After seeing the new war trailer it got me thinking.

    Any thoughts let me know.

    Cheers

Prime vault is a outdated concept anyways.

It goes back to the time where relics were keys and a very few maps had a filled rotation to handle. Well, keys were replaced with relics. Relics addet individuall rotations and room for as much relics fill planetary rotations...summed up: there's no good reason for prime vaults anymore. Except for profit. Cause 2 prime accesses instead of 1 in a 3 month shedule obviously means more profit...

Prime vault also means that the relic dropps become avaiable again though. No money? Invest some time instead. Rhino is farmable right now.

I am attempting to farm for him right now. Will see if I can get the parts required. Cheers for the help.

  7. I was wondering if somebody could explain Prime vault to me. If something gets 'vaulted' does this mean, like the Rhino prime thing going on right now, that it will come back briefly and then never be available again? I don't have the money to buy Rhino prime right now nor the time to grind for him. Once the vault gets closed again does this mean he is gone for good?

  8. Agreed. It's something that always lingers in my mind when playing a survival in public. " Are these the kind of people that are going to keep going on and on and on and on?" It's something I myself have mentioned before and I hope they can figure this out. Sometimes I wanted to just get past the level and got stuck playing it for about half an hour!

Yes, it's not exactly endearing to the game when you encounter that one. I had to get a clan mate to help me when I first got there because your base archwing isn't getting it done very easily and others joining the run are few and far between. It's one of the handful of early game encounters that's rage inducing enough that quitting isn't out of the question. The time should definitely be increased considering that a lot of new players end up there solo.

It took me 2 hours. Yes I have passed it but it was silly that it gave you such a short amount of time for this first encounter of a rush mission.

Exactly my problem. I got there after soloing my way through the game. Well apart from a couple of missions but I mostly did it solo. I have since passed this missions after managing to destroy 1 shuttle but man it was like I hit a wall. It defo needs tof be adjusted.

  11. I got to the Phobos mission Archwing rush the other day and nearly threw my controller at the TV. Just to point out I'm not an immature person. I was just THAT frustrated with the mission. It was nigh impossible when you randomly get stuck on everything that juts out past a metre. I swiftly removed myself from my chair after a couple of hours of pure glee running through missions and kicking butt, as my rage was building to a point that could only be equalled by a hypothetical situation where someone takes a dump on my car. Pure...fury... Why oh why is this so ridiculously hard!? Why are the mechanics so frustrating!? Why after about 10 attempts I finally get to the bloody shuttles to find only 1 remaining and then, oh guess what, I have to shoot the bleeding tiny floating shield things that are like aiming for a drone on steroids!? Wtf DE!? Fix this already! I swear if I come across another one of these missions I might just s#*t myself with uninhibited rage.

I think you should wait for them to actually do it and see the result before you start congratulating them. That way it would have something solid to be based on.

I am congratulating them for the thought and achievement of doing it.

i just hope they make it big as F***, with a lot of secrets, treasures and what not to explore.

DE are very good at updating and expanding content. I'm sure it will start off with a few things to keep us ticking over and in time will add much more to it.

Saying it like I see it. So far I've only seen a really tiny number of console players (including you) opposing the idea of forced pvp with the stalker, invasions and pvp in PoE. Everyone else that suggests, supports and wants these are 90% console players. Topic starters and people answering to those that don't want to have those systems added. You just got rolled in with the statistics per se, and it doesn't mean you in specific, but chances are that someone that wants these mechanics and more pvp in Warframe will almost always be a console player.

Fair enough. I can't argue with what is apparent. It is however a shame to be tard with the same brush in this instance. I am with the minority of console players and shiver at the thought of pvp everywhere. I apologise if my response seemed stern, I read it back and thought that myself lol. It certainly wasn't my intention.

    co-op focused

This is the description of the game. I would go on further but... console player. It's not the first time I point out how console players are the ones pushing for hostility rather than cooperation.

I really do prefer for co operative play. So much so that I have avoided all pvp for this long and have been playing since game released on ps4. So I don't appreciate the comment.

No, that is only the city itself, not the environment. It was confirmed on Twitter the environment is 4 player instance.

Thank you for informing me of that. Up-to 4 players is great. As mentioned before it would be a hassle otherwise. Now I need to find someone to play it with lol.

  17. The game really is only understood after playing it for a good few days. The best advice I could give is to just keep playing and you will understand a lot of your questions as you progress. It is a little lacking in the explaining side of things but nothing too complicated to learn. It has so much to offer and is so much fun. Just be aware that there are a lot of people that have been playing the game for a long time so if you have your gaming set to public you might (I guarantee) find that people blast through the missions so maybe try by yourself for a while until you get used to the different mission types. Essentially the jist is to complete all nodes on the planet you are on until to gather the necessary materials or defeat the required bosses to progress to the next planet. And then do the same on it. One last point. If you find the game difficult believe me it does get easier as you unlock better mods and upgrade them. Your starter weapons are guff. Hope this helps a little.

  18. To get back on the point though. Whatever it is to be called we cannot deny that it is 'open', so with that in mind I would again like to gather thoughts and comments on this idea for the game and inspiration for what could be the future of Warframe and possible expansions to systems, like say, the crafting, and what I'm hopeful for, broadening the operator abilities etc.
