  1. Honestly I wish every frame had a quest that explains their story/origin. Maybe a little bit into who they were before becoming frames which could also explain their character. Maybe equinox was Siamese Twins with polar opposite personalities. The infestation caused them to sort of fully reunite back into a single organism but with split personality that takes on the form of night and day. Just something to bring more interest into the game. Since frames are just thrown into missions and such. I feel like all of them should get the Inaros treatment or Umbra treatment. We don’t have to fight every single one of them, but I feel like we should have story modes for each one. As we progress they tell about their history or origins. maybe have the option to view the prime versions who are given the Ballas introduction and such. Like if you view mirage and switch to her prime, you can listen to Ballas talk about her if not get the full trailer about her. Maybe when the game starts to expand more, maybe DE will eventually add more quests and such.
  2. I keep picturing a plant frame that has a shade and light form. When standing in shaded areas, the frame becomes more slim and gloomy. While in lit areas, the frame blooms. While in the gloom form, speed is increased, but while in the bloom form, health is increased. Due to plants gaining some vitality from sunlight while at night the leaves are gone which reduces air drag. Can also create a sort of powdery fog to block light or can call upon lightning bugs that can add light. So that you can choose more easily which form regardless of the area. The ability would throw off enemy aim as well to make it more useful. Probably come with an augment mod that makes either form more permanent depending on darker or lighter energy colors. Besides that, I picture each ability having a shade or light version. The gloom is more vicious while the bloom is more nurturing. And I’m picturing your suggested abilities being split between the forms. I’ve seen plants that bloom during the day but close up during the night. So I can’t stop picturing a frame that utilizes both which could also give DE more options if they’re too indecisive on which abilities to choose. There’s just so many different kinds of plant related abilities. I even pictured one where the frame summons a garden of carnivorous plants that attack nearby enemies and paralyses them while slowly reducing their armor and health. Even after the ability is canceled, the enemies would remain paralyzed for a bit longer. But in bloom form the frame can take all that stolen vitality and provide health and energy orbs to allies. Kind of picturing almost horrific stuff like from the movie The Ruins. Just my opinion though.
  3. Read all that in Ballas’s voice. Sounds about what I expected of a Harrow Prime trailer.
  4. Well the skills were just examples. When I make concepts, I try to be more open minded and welcome all that contribute to the theme for DE to ultimately decide if they ever take the concept into consideration. People can suggest pretty much anything and the only criticism I may give is if they are either without any sort of sync or if they already exist for another frame. Like if someone suggested an ability that boosts both armor and weapon damage, I would be forced to remind them that Vex Armor already exists. I try not to be narrowminded about ability similarities but some people seem to not have gathered all the frames before making their concepts. As for his overall design, for starters grineer are know for their big forearms and thighs. I took my Rhino with an alternate skin and equipped him with Saturn Six armor and gave him a black and brown design with little bits of red. I also used Atlas’s boxing stance too. But basically picture a Rhino with extra large forearms and thighs. Bigger shoulders and back. And have that typical camouflage design. DE has made “Graxx” skins which gives Warframes a more grineer look which could help with the idea of what a grineer frame would be like. He would probably have what looks like breathing tubes around the face area, considering he was heavily damaged. His prime would have a unique orokin camouflage design. I also made a grineer concept of a big boxer type grineer who believes guns are for the weak. He was a unique mutation that made him physically bigger and stronger than most grineer and believe their reliance on guns and cybernetics is why they can’t beat the Tenno. But he got too full of himself and thought he could replace Ruk who then burns him to near death to teach him a lesson. When he woke up he became enraged to find out he basically had a suite built around him, making him not too different from the rest of the cybernetic grineer. His suit is designed to keep him alive so he has no choice. Basically picture the Dark Knight Bane but with half his face burnt, looking kind of old/deteriorated. His body would look like a mixture between Darth Vador and Iron Man but with large forearms and such. His signature weapon is the Korrudo. He has 3 bars of health, first one he fights with a more sparring style. But health bar 2, he fights like he is using Fists. At his final health bar 3, he fights using grappling and such. Losing a bar of health means damage to his suite which makes it hard to keep going and starts to rely more on berserker rage to keep moving. After his defeat during the main quest, he was cloned and becomes the guy who shows up during sabotage missions to keep the Tenno from extracting. So he would spawn by the extraction point and release a barrier that takes time to dismantle. That concept was created for a Volcanic frame concept where he was protecting a large power source to a giant thumper like machine and your job is to sabotage it which he tries to prevent. But once defeated it does a cut scene where it shows him knocked into the power chamber/tube and leaves a crack. He starts wheezing and such before he starts to stand back up, but then a molten hand bursts out and grabs him by the face, burning him until he passes out. Then the volcanic frame bursts out of the chamber in an unstable form, forges a hammer axe that crushes the grineer’s skull before stomping the ground/body and making it bounce up and land over his shoulder mimicking the drawing I have made. I try to get into really deep details mainly in order to make it easier for DE to add them into the game if they ever decide too. And I try to encourage others to join in. I figured if more people are united on concepts, DE would be more likely to take them into consideration. Like how Nova and Xaku were community frames. We could start our own. But dudes be wanting frames exactly how they prefer so people are never United but instead are likely to argue. Maybe if someone started some sort of trend called “Community Frame: Insert Theme”, this for example being Community Frame: Grineer Theme, maybe people could gather with their own ideas of such a theme. No names, no big suggestions. No competition. And maybe DE would see it and take them into account. DE have expressed constantly that some of the concepts that exist is because the community asked for them. The most recent example being Voruna as so many people asked for a wolf theme frame and her abilities match some that I’ve seen on this forum. But that’s just my opinion. Before I officially post a concept, I ask dudes I play Warframe with how they feel about the concept first. If they express that they would love it, then I officially post the concept. I’m not the best drawer so I can’t draw up concept left and right. So for the most part I try to describe them with as much detail as I can.
  5. I’ve made a concept before. One where a frame was designed to be the ultimate war machine. But he became severely injured. Losing an arm and a leg, all that. The grineer found his body and used their own cybernetics to fix him up. They also warped what was left of his mind into believing the Tenno was responsible. Leading to an all out war against the frame. Forcing the Tenno to use transference to fix his broken mind and “take away its pain”. The original prime was influenced by the destructive nature of the grineer. Which is what made his inferior clone best suited for the role of cybernetic enhancement. While most frames were destroyed, he remained due to his tough design. Maybe has an alternate/deluxe skin where he doesn’t have such injuries. So for the most part, maybe the Prime could be designed like the Seer Pistol. Where it uses both orokin and grineer technology/designs. Fight fire with fire. That’s the sort of origin story I pictured for such a frame to exist following the original lore. For his skill kit, I pictured his passive being that he can jump higher and melee slams have wider range. Only melee equipped increases the speed of his heavy melee swings. 1). Fires 3 homing rockets at up to 3 enemies. Hold to mark a specific target. 2). Teleport slam. Simply teleports to an enemy and performs a ground slam. If no melee is equipped, he will just use his fist. With a melee equipped, he will inflict greater damage. 3). Heavily increase the damage of Melees. Can be applied to allies and companions. 4). Summons an Exalted Archgun that can switch between explosive rockets and basically Gatling bullets. That’s the basic. Grineer is all about destructive force. So basically I combined the most annoying/biggest grineer concepts into 1. He would have the absolute highest armor than any other frame. Maybe like 1-2,000. Probably zero shields. While his energy and speed would be a bit on the low side. But that’s just my opinion.
  6. I thought about what if we had mutated Investedinos. Maybe they’ve been dormant for a long time, maybe the grineer tried to pull a Jurassic Park. Either way the introduction would show like T. rex walking very wobbly. Grineer see it but are confused as it’s body started making cracking sounds. Then you see it’s head fall down in from of them after it’s neck twisted. Wondering if it’s dead, they scoot closer when all of sudden, it’s legs started moving. But strangely they started bending a twisting, it’s tail raised up and split apart. Next thing they knew, it turned around revealing an infested face at the center of the star split tail just before unleashing an infested roar. Creating a new more Forest like open world on earth filled with such creatures. Along with a new more dinomight Warframe. Maybe like a Hunter who wore Dino bones as like a trophy armor which after being turned into a Warframe, became more Dino himself. Passive: reduced physical status due to tough skin. 1). Delivers hard headbutt that knocks nearby enemies flying with a head harder than a Pachycephalosaurus. 2). Giant roar that stuns enemies and throws off their accuracy. 3). Shield forged from the spikes and plates of a stegosaurus. Can be thrown to damage enemies but shatter, dropping on the ground which slows enemy movement and inflicts further damage. 4). Berserker rage that causes him to gain increased sprint speed and unable to be knockdown. His heavy melees become faster and don’t use up combo counters. Gains increased critical chance. If he doesn’t have a melee equipped, he will forge one from the remnants of the dinosaur remains. Can switch between a hammer and an axe. Just examples.
  7. Grendel style pac-man with different faction maps and getting a Loki head symbol causes the enemies to lose their guns temporarily so they flee in terror and primed to be eaten. Grendel style PinBall with the orokin design for the game as they’re full of different traps with death orbs being the bumpers and such. RailJack Galaga where you shoot at the enemies, they’ll drop different weapon types, colors demonstrate how strong they are. You can take multiple hits and catch repair kits if you’re lucky. The enemies are different factions eventually leading to the bosses like Profit Taker, Mother Orb, Vay Hek Large version, Jordas golem, J3 Golem, etc. Warframe Luigi Ghost Mansion where you use Sevagoth and his wraith as the ghosts while the others are corpus or grineer having to avoid being caught. Running around a maze not knowing where the wraith will appear. Gauss Rush, basically like those little app games like Sonic Dash or Minion Run, where you run down a 3 lane path and dodge obstacles. Collecting credits and such. Maybe few other fast frames can be used with slightly different skills in later updates. There’s a lot more but they’re a bit too big to be side games. But these are what I could think of off the top of my head the moment I saw your post. I’m sure a few dozen more will come to mind that aren’t too big.
  8. Honestly I’m picturing a Peacock theme. Considering male peacocks are known for their feathers. And they use them for multiple purposes. His signature melee could be fan blades shaped like the tail of a male peacock. Can throw them as part of the heavy melee and can confuse enemies with their appearance when wielded specifically by him. Or a unique shield glaive that can be thrown and hit multiple targets while also used as a shield that block bullets while mesmerizing enemies, maybe even daring them to attack. When thrown the enemies will target it instead as it’s eye feathered design distracts them. I picture one of the abilities he makes his feathers spread out like a Peacock’s which throws off enemy accuracy as the eye designs distracts them before he launches the feathers at them. Making him the perfect assassin. Swift and elegant. With Zephyr being a wind flying type bird frame, I figured the Peacock would be the perfect, more grounded bird frame. But that’s just my opinion. Could have 2 separate colors to represent the shade versus light version. In shaded areas, his feathers are concealed while in light areas, they bloom. Maybe part of his story is that he is regarded as one of the most beautiful Warframes. Just my opinion though. Just going off how people described male Peacocks. Thought they were females because of how people described them.
  9. Honestly the title made me pictured a pregnant woman being turned into a Warframe which also affected the child within her. But that would probably be too horrific for certain gamers to handle. Dudes got mad when I did the Call of Duty Black Ops Zombies background voice. Imagine a very big primitive looking female frame that just so happens to have another that comes out. They’re permanently stuck together so she acts more like a suit that gives enhance strength to run around and wield arch weapons like they’re regular weapons. Like merging Grendel, Hildryn, and Chroma together for the appearance and certain mechanics. Originally made a concept about a growth frame that can expand its size and such. But I could see certain abilities being applied to this concept. When switching with the child, you run as a pair with a link almost like Nidus’s third ability. And doing so, the mother shrinks to what her true appearance/shape would’ve been. Seeing multiple frames designed with their bodies looking almost split or with what looks like a ditch going from their chest, down to their waste. So it wouldn’t be hard to make her the same way but for a mechanical purpose. Maybe she’s more calm and nurturing while her child happens to be male with a lot of anger and aggression. Due to being in fetal development, he didn’t mutate like others, so he didn’t turn into a mindless beast. Basically he would be half Warframe. Seeing his mother the way she is, the torture she had to endure at the hands of the orokin, caused him so much anguish and rage. The Tenno and infested orokin family are shocked to see them. The family expresses such shock if you use the frame when interacting with them. The Mother would probably talk as if they have a lot in common. Saying things like “as a mother also…” before each speech. But like I said, it would probably be too horrific for some to handle. Or too political. Maybe she thought about abortion but the orokin tricked her. After being turned into an infested, she became much closer to her child instead. Literally being connected. Ballas probably saying something like “I tried to lift this burden from her. But now she seems closer than ever before. It’s sickening.” Since Ballas likes to insult the Warframes and their behaviors. Point is, I was way off when I saw the title.
  10. Abilities are too similar to mag and we already have a few speed buffs. And giving allies the ability to knock enemies away by charging into them kind of copies Gauss. As someone who can reduce gravity, their parkour and jumps would increase. Movement would only increase a little. Heavy melees would be much faster to swing. But your body can only move so much. So your sprint speed wouldn’t increase much, especially when trying to stay close to the ground. So she would be able to increase jump height and parkour by a lot while only increase sprint speed a little. Like 20% at most. But she can also reduce the weight of melees which would make heavy melees be swung much faster. As a gravity frame that also means she can increase the gravitational force on enemies or objects. So she can use it to pend enemies down, leaving them vulnerable to finishers. She can also increase the weight of melee slams at the last second for greater impact. So basically her first ability could be where she pends enemies down and using finishers deal extra damage due to the weight of the weapon crashing down on them. More effective on heavy melees and hammers. Her second ability could simply boost jump height and parkour. Sprint speed would increase a little, less than Wisp’s ability. And heavy melees will be much faster. For allies, melee slams could cancel it out much like back handsprings cancels Volt speed. When allies use melee slams, not only does it cancel the boost, but their melee slam does more damage and wider range. That way players won’t complain, at least not as much about being boosted without their consent. I would take advantage of the boost but not everybody is me.🤷‍♂️ Her third is okay but obviously there will be limits to how many she can hold. Casting again could allow her to send them flying in all directions. Her passive might irritate those who use aim glide. So maybe pressing the jump button a third time could allow her to do her passive instead. Maybe she can also resist gravitational/magnetic pulls, so magnetic anomalies won’t affect her. At least she won’t get pulled but she could still suffer an electric EMP effect if she run through them. Her fourth is a tough one. Fourth abilities are known for usually being the biggest, most effect ones. Depending on the mission and such, other abilities may shine, but that doesn’t negate the stats. Example, Rhino stomp would be weaker as a first while volt speed would be 2-3 times faster as a fourth. Instead of being similar to mag who crushes her enemies, I think being able to basically bury them would make it different. Crush them in a different way. That or she increases her orbital gravity to the point it pulls enemies in and spins them around her so much they catch on fire and canceling it sends them all flying like meteors inflicting damage upon them and those they fly into. Range boosts the amount of enemies she can pull in by expanding her orbit while strength increases the damage and launching power. Also while in her orbit, they absorb some of the projectiles. Either one would be okay, but I personally would prefer the latter as it would be the most unique and fun to use. Especially when dealing with a huge swarm of infested and such. Be shielded and can go on the offense, increasing her survivability. That’s just my opinion though. I base this of the study/laws of gravity and what DE has already made, in order to make this concept more unique. Considering we have mag, I would assume this frame would be male. Maybe their origin story is they used to be lovers, 2 peas in a pod. Not even the force of gravity could separate them. Until the orokin came. Maybe this frame is enraged looking for his loved one. If DE wants to really go into depth of their origins. Hope this helped.
  11. Honestly I created a concept of a void rifle and melee based on the Tenno Amps. Basically they channel the Tenno void energy to the blades or bullets that can reach further distances. Give Tenno their own mercy/finisher. The War blade is a sentient weapon made from Hunhow. I figured it should have the ability to inflict damage based on enemy weaknesses. But some people don’t want it to. I would personally want more sentient melees with the unique ability to adjust damage type to the weaknesses of the enemies. Basically it would have a physical damage and an elemental damage, maybe 2. The physical will adjust based on the enemies such as it will do puncture to armor, impact to shields, then slash towards health. If a grineer loses his armor it will switch from puncture to slash. While the element will either inflict corrosive towards alloy armor or it would inflict corrosive AND ice. The moment it’s gone, it will inflict viral or viral AND fire towards the health. Just examples. The War was a pain to obtain so it feels like a backhanded compliment when I received it. DE finally made melees more useful but I feel something as complex as the War should’ve been given a unique ability, maybe a secondary damage type that can adjust without affecting the usual damage. Maybe a heavy melee can cause it to switch to a more adapting type. In its default state it looks like sentient blade, but in its adaptable state, it has that energy aura around it. Additional sentient weapons could make that happen. Could be Hok, or it could be a new lab in the dojo that is only unlocked after the new war. With all the sentient bodies in the Plains, you would think more Tenno weapons from the Quills and Hok would be available. Like maybe the Quills and Hok team up to create the sentient melees. Hok gives the melees their shape while the quills make them channel void energy for a unique Tenno blade that can hurt eidolons and bypass sentient adaptions. Give us the option to use our operator/drifter more often and freely besides just in the Paradox. Not to mention we now have Caliban who is a sentient. Honestly I pictured somebody drawing a frame by frame of Umbra pulling his sword out and placing it in the ground before reaching his hand out to accept Caliban despite his history with sentients, showing the final frame of their hands holding like that brother in arms thing. All that has been making me wish more and more for sentient weapons. But that’s just my opinion.
  12. Got me picturing something more gargoyle like. Warframes tend to look like they’re made of plastic. Or like they got a not so shiny paint job. But as something related to Void Angels, I’m picturing him being more gray with some shine to him. I’m not super great at picking colors. As for detailed description, I’m picturing something closer to Rhino Palatine model but with noticeable front horns and obviously wings. I picture the wings looking similar to the Night Hunter Syandana. Has something like the loincloth and scarf that Umbra has. His face could look similar to Chroma’s, but if he is based on the Void Angels, it would probably be similar to citrine but with a more Scream like shape. That’s about the most I can describe. Warframes have a lot of weird but unique details to their designs/skin so I can’t really go any further. I wouldn’t know how to go about describing the exact texture and such which is where an artist’s imagination has to come in and I personally wouldn’t judge so long as the big/main details/features that can be described are accounted for. His origin would be difficult as we don’t have much details on Warframe origin. SPOILER ALERT: they were created by the orokin using a special strand of infested. They went through all sorts of abuse by the orokin to control them. But then the Tenno came along and was able to “see inside an ugly broken thing, and take away its pain”. Which shows these Warframes aren’t as mindless as we were first lead to believe. But I’m not entirely sure when the frames were created or how long it has been going on in timing with the Zariman and void angels. Otherwise I picture a guy trying to resist the “song” that turned others into void angels. But he was caught by the orokin and injected with the infestation virus. The virus not only mutated his body but it weakened his will enough for the “song” to take over. Turning him into a sort of void Angel frame. But his appearance resembles something closer to a gargoyle. Every now and then, he becomes dormant before he awakens and goes on a rampage. As for his stats, I picture him being pretty tanky. Decent amount of health and armor with some shields. Probably be pretty quick on his feet. I’m not good at picking exact numbers unless I wanted them to fit the same category as another frame with similar stats. For his abilities: Passive: I picture him being able to jump high and far. Maybe when sitting still, he completely sits still like a statue, maybe develops a silver coating across his body like iron skin, which causes enemies to slowly approach him with caution. Eventually they start attacking him but it gives you some time to think and plan. I’m thinking of one where he basically targets an area, leaves a sort of mark. When pressed again, he jumps through a portal and crashes down on the enemies. If you press and hold, he will do it immediately. I’m picturing one where he releases a loud noise that temporarily turns enemies into metallic statues. Basically he can release a minor version of “the song” that can affect those he faces nearby. Their bodies would turn shiny silver(what ever energy color) and they’ll sprout those weird looking branches and flames. While in that state, they are vulnerable to melees. He could create a sort of portal that sucks enemies into like Grendel but fires them out of another. Like he creates that sphere that can pull enemies from all direction while opening up a single flat portal that all the enemies are fired out of immediately. Tap to create the sphere and hold to open the portal. If both aren’t done, then nothing happens. Finally, the only other ability I can think of is he is releases a sort of shockwave scream that not only turns all surrounding enemies into the silver statues, but they become his minions and attacks others in a berserker like rage. While all nearby enemies are turn into statues, only a certain number become official void Angel minions that attack the dormant ones. Dormant enemies are more vulnerable to melee. That’s about all I can really do to describe the frame I’m picturing. His abilities are more based on void angels and how they came to be. I feel like we need a new open world but this one is different(obviously). Maybe one day DE will create an open orokin world where it looks like a legit orokin city rather than the inside of some high security palace. But for now, I’m picturing a sort of floating island in space that kind of looks somewhere between an orokin city and the zariman maps. It has an outside view and there are lots of statues in the positions like trees. As if a crowd of people tried running and changed into void statues. However some amongst them are actually dormant void angels ready to pounce if you get near them. Maybe there’s part of an orokin tower or zariman ship that crashed and creates a sort of castle like background vibe. If DE doesn’t just make a darker looking orokin city. Like the open orokin world would be huge, possibly bigger than the Plains of Eidolon. While this dark version would be like a fracture of one. Like if an orokin city was damaged by the void angels and this fraction drifted off into space. Becoming the home of the Void Gargoyle Frame. Basically a dark creepy forest theme but of void statues. Introduction shows like maybe some corpus arrived on this island and saw the strange looking “trees”. As they approached, one of them notices a grineer mask on the ground. As they continue to inspect, they noticed some of these “trees” has grineer masks on them. That’s when the camera view changes into that of a semi blurry vision of an angry beast charging at the corpus. Then the camera switches to a far distance angle and all you hear are the corpus screams into the dark void of space. But that’s just my opinion.
  13. All those creatures in the plains, orb Vallis, and even cases like desert maps with those sand sting rays. All that makes me picture each planet having unique predatory creatures to deal with that either corpus have some weapons or that grineer did some cloning and such to add to their army. And for ice tunnels and caves, I keep imagining what if there was some new ice creature that lurked within. Like there are areas where lotus says “these tunnels don’t look man made”.
  14. I keep picturing more open worlds. But 2 different versions. One that’s the actual open world for each planet. The other is more separated into sections that follow a certain path from beginning to end. Basically picture a full open world but then divide it out into different sections like the united stats or like monster Hunter rise/world. However way you want to go about it. When doing certain missions only a specific path can be followed and the rest of the overall map can only be viewed as a background. Similar to how there are invisible barriers that keep you restricted. The difference between this version and what we currently have is that there would be more free roam. Like running through more open plains or fields on earth versus being limited to caves and such as of right now. It would be like how there’s multiple states you can travel through to reach say California from like Virginia. Sometimes the pathway might be more downwards towards like Florida then travels across the bottom states until you reach California. Or just go straight through Colorado and such. Just an example of a couple of paths and that’s only if those 2 states were the spawn and extraction point. The overall map would be divided into multiple sections that connect to each other but only certain ones are highlighted from beginning to end when starting a mission. Instead of the randomized build a map DE has now. Make it feel more adventurous. The sections would be wide but not open world wide. So more breathing room to fight, complete objectives, or even explore. And maybe this type of map would come with something that records it so that any future missions, the entire map layout would be highlighted so you already know where it’s gonna take you and what to expect in those locations. It would almost be like grineer vs corpus invasions where the map changes from grineer to corpus or vice versa. It would be a similar set up with each section. Maybe the new open worlds could be set up where you get to roam the whole thing while they are divided into sections for the regular missions to reduce the amount of work for DE to deal with. Before Wisp prime was even a concept, I pictured a desert like open map with all sorts of underground creatures to deal with. Grineer figured out a machine that can travel under the sand which allows them to pop up anywhere. Certain moves like rhino stomp or banshee sound quake can damage them and force them to come out the sand. Part of me picture a war between corpus and grineer is happening and there is a faction where defectives on both sides decided to unite and help each other out. There would be 2 sort of leaders that will coordinate with you depending on which faction you choose to deal with. When dealing with grineer, you would probably have the leader of Steel Meridian speak to you versus Ergo Glast when dealing with the corpus side. Before wisp was a conceit, dudes talked about a “Sun Goddess” theme frame. Basically wisp would’ve been the frame for this open world had it gone my way. Ceres makes me picture something like the Rocky Mountains sort of environment but obviously moon rock or what ever ceres is made out of. And there would be all sorts of power plants scattered around. While currently it’s like traveling through a giant factory, I’m picturing like if there was an outside area of said factory. Maybe more cases if the Grustrag 3 showing up. Maybe they get a 4th member to make them a full squad to go up against the Tenno. Europa is basically a corpus ship graveyard. Really the only option is simply expansion. There would be areas run by mainly robots. Like if corpus developed advanced AI and that’s what basically running everything. And so every now and then it will control a sort of boss machine to deal with the Tenno. I’m sure you get the point. Just annoying playing the same maps but nothing really new. The new maps may eventually get old but at least they wouldn’t be too basic to the boredom. The void of all places should be a single open world map of a sort of city that is divided into sections that are randomly chosen for a beginning to end path during each mission. Maybe change the fissure effects and have non-corrupt enemies spawn during fissure missions. Make Corrupt Vor into more of a boss rather than an annoying assassin. But that’s just my opinion.
  15. When I tried discussing “prime” animals, I referred to the concept of their ancestors. Like for Kubrow there is basically like a large wolf version. Maybe has 6 eyes since one of the animals in Orb Vallis did. I tried suggesting that in order to create one you need the dna of all 5 different Kubrows in order to get a sort of lock on the dominant/common/original genes. I also pictured maybe there’s an ancient Kubrow nest where the last ones live on earth and Vay Hek tries to capture them and their eggs in order to create his own army. Maybe a combination of both. Now that DE finally created the popular wolf frame concept, they also created not one but 4 different wolves. Sure they’re only the heads of the 4 wolves, but they’re still there. Which means DE could easily create them as separated companions. The heads actually look exactly as I pictured the ancient Kubrow/wolf. Would be DE’s way to give them the power up they deserve. Ones that can survive and deal damage against high level enemies. Maybe they can do something similar with the Kavats but I’m not sure what they would look like. Others have suggested more prehistoric felines.
  16. Too me they seem like imperfect clones of the Primes. Kind of like how Umbra died but we gathered enough data on his remains to create a perfect clone, memory fully intact. So I see the regular frames as more imperfect clones which is why they are weaker and yet similar. Basically had they not gather all the data on umbra, he probably would’ve came out more like regular Excalibur. Valkyr being the imperfect clone of Valkyr Prime is why when both went through torture, they both became hysterical. Both of their origins involves torture. Even Ballas explained how they tortured the frames to get them to be submissive. And yet somehow the Tenno were “able to look inside a broken misshapen thing and take away its pain”. And so as imperfect clones, they were vulnerable to the same behaviors and such as a result. Like with revenant prime, I feel like he was basically the original from the story. But revenant was all we could create as an imperfect clone. Ballas literally speaks of them as if they’re from the past, not present. Even revenant prime is referred to as “the lost one” like the regular revenant. And Ballas speaks of him as if he knows him more personally. While relics are like remnants from an old war and when cracked open, they reveal some scattered remains of the prime Warframes and weapons from the old war. So we basically gather enough data on them much like Umbra to clone the full prime, aka perfected frame. So for Kullervo, his prime has probably met the same fate. Again Ballas described how they did all sorts of things to the Warframes. So Kullervo could be another frame who survived the torture and plots to get his revenge. So regular Kullervo happens to be similar. Just as Valkyr was not the only frame Alad V tortured. His Zanuka is made from Warframes. Like a crazy Frankenstein. Made me imagine a frame that could turn into a beast, so his imperfect clone got turned into a Zanuka and was able to reverse it and become more humanoid again and comes with a deluxe skin that showed his original self before the experiments. So DE is not gonna make a regular frame not have a prime. But the imperfect clone theory is the only one that’s consistent throughout the story as we learn more and more about the primes and their roles in the past. And yet they speak of the regular frames as if they are one in the same. And considering how we cloned Umbra after he was killed. So the term prime means first. And they were originally orokin invention/creation. I’m guessing the primes were lost or destroyed and all the Tenno could do was create an inferior/imperfect clone of them. Because of their design, they were destined to eventually follow the same fate/paths as their prime counterparts.
  17. Honestly before they made that second necramech, I pictured them making one that’s more close combat melee based and added grounded melees. And a third that was more long range that uses something similar to the Velocitus. Then I started picturing what if the grinder and corpus found Necramech remains and built their own version. Since they don’t have the technology to harness the void like the orokin, theirs are a bit bigger and can be piloted like the dargyn drones. The grineer focuses more on close combat while the corpus focuses on long range and defense. Like the grineer version can travel faster, fly higher, and maybe can equip 2 arch melees that it swings like arms. While the corpus could equip dual versions of whatever arch gun and can create an energy dome to protect itself and allies. Shortly after you speak with “Father” who expresses offense to the Necramechs. Calling them an insult to him and a flawed parody. However he can’t deny that their weapon systems are pretty interesting. His were originally built to be Warframes, then became infested exterminators. While these are more built for war and destruction. So then Father decides to build what he calls the “perfected” versions where they are piloted by the Tenno through transference and reduced a little in size. Along with them, they become customizable like kitguns or zaws. You can only use corpus with corpus and grineer with grineer. But you have many options on the abilities and default weapons. With the main core or skull looking piece as the main source where you gain affinity. The weapons can be shared though. If you have broken necramech pieces, that would make things easier and faster, otherwise you’d need parts from destroyed corpus and grineer necramechs. Along with that customizable necramech, you’ll be able to make them look like the versions you’re thinking of. Give them different patterns and such. Like when you customize your Warframes appearances or Kahl. But that’s just my opinion.
  18. The idea for Kuva Korrudo gives off more Tenet Staticor vibes. Where pressing Alt. Fire makes it charge all the ammo clip into the massive beam that also has a much wider explosive radius.
  19. I have a few… dozen. But with so many people posting their own versions, it does make it complicated. Which people would unite like when DE did Xaku. Someone posts a basic theme, and people suggest how the frame should be. And maybe people try to give a vote by liking the ones they think is… I guess second best??? without being bias. Then DE decides from there. I may think mine is the best but I would still like the ones I believe have potential other than mine. But the ones I’m currently pushing are: 1). Ice Female Skater. Uses ice status to speed herself up while slowing enemies down, and Ice blades to dance through crowds of enemies with grace. Maybe she was best friends with Octavia who would play music that she would dance skate to. 2). Infested Queen Of Swarms. Unlike Nidus, she kept mutating into a giant grotesque creature roaming the open world. After defeating and rebuilding her, her mutation was permanently halted. She’s capable spreading infestation, mutating weapons, turning fallen enemies into infested, and enhancing the aggression and damage of infested. 3). Bone Kinetic Reaper. He targets and uses the bones of enemies to spread destruction and fear. Collecting the bones of fallen enemies to use for his own purposes. Such as creating a tough armored shell/exoskeleton and a group of skeleton minions. Can turn enemy skeletons into weapons or paralyze them. 4). Shape Shifting Assassin. Capable of copying the appearances of others but is limited to shape/structure. Can turn other enemies into copies of itself to distract and reduce alertness if such are killed. Can copy stats of teammates or gain massive buff to health, armor, or shields depending on enemy faction. And can cause paranoid panic as enemies won’t know who the imposter is. Orokin viewed it as being too good and tried to assassinate the assassin. After so much shape shifting, it doesn’t remember it’s true form. Doesn’t know who It is. 5). Carnivorous Plant Fiend. Depending on the environment she can be deadly in different ways. During the day she blooms so beautifully that enemies are lured into her trap, ensnared before they realize what’s happening. During the night she becomes more aggressive shedding her peddles to reveal thorns of vengeance. Turning earth itself into a grave. A Rose by any other name is still just as vicious. 6). Evolution of Landfish. She’s able walk on land and swim in the waters. A true queen of both land and sea. Summons hordes of her vicious fish friends who she helped adapt to land. Enemies thought staying away from the oceans would keep them safe, little did they know the depths of her abilities. These are what I’m currently focused on. I’m mostly focusing on new enemies. Like a new grineer for sabotage missions and new infested like an infested assassin.
  20. I heard that way back when Nekros was first introduced he was completely sentient and you had to fight him. But it was “too horrific” for the children(shouldn’t be playing such a game in the first place) to handle and made complaints. Then there’s Chroma, Revenant, a few examples of frames displaying sentient free will. Heck the Warframe broke the War sword while stalker had the Tenno in his hands. Some argue that the Tenno pulled it off despite the situation but I’m not buying it as it doesn’t make sense considering the state they were in. Then there’s the Acolytes. So yeah, Warframes all seem to have minds of their own. But sort of lack the will to act upon them. Which the Tenno does say “my Warframe is the hand while I am the will”. It doesn’t say the Warframes are the body and the Tenno is the mind. Warframes were designed to be perfect soldiers, perfect war machines. And Ballas said the Tenno figured out how to go deep inside such a “broken thing and take away it’s pain”. So it would seem that’s the basic for every frame achieved. As the Tenno we basically remove their pain and they become loyal soldiers waiting to act on our will. While Umbra was a very special case where his pain was too great for even the Tenno and unlike the others, the Tenno was able to see his memories. I feel that DE should make it where we begin to see the memories of many frames. That the Tenno manages to figure out how to find them deep within the warframe’s subconscious. And eventually unlock the ability for the frames to make some willful decisions of their own while you are the Tenno. Maybe it could be part of the Duviri skill tree where you can make your Warframe join you are certain quests and such and have the ability to follow you where ever you go and maybe at least provide unique support. And at maxed, they will be able to assist outside of Duviri. Their abilities may be limited but they could still assist in some ways. If you’re reviving someone, they’ll help out. They’ll follow your Tenno so that they’re nearby to provide some assistance. While Umbra develops greater Dax related skills. Uses many more abilities besides just howling. That sort of thing. Maybe he gains a damage buff as a result of being able to go on a rampage against the enemies, almost like Wukong’s clone. That’s the sort of thing I’d like to see.
  21. It’s an addition. The current original mechanic is you just tap the button to activate and let enemies damage you. I’m asking for them to ADD the option to hold the button to channel health and shields into the Vex Armor albeit at a much larger cost than taking damage, if DE doesn’t want the maxed buffs to be that easy to obtain this way. Nothing is removed. I even gave an example of if the original mechanic required 300 default health to reach 100% maxed buff and if this ADDITION required 300 of default health to achieve 25% of maxed buff. If you channeled 50% of 300 default health towards vex armor(12.5% buff) but took damage by enemies to the remaining 50% of default health(50% buff), then the buff would reach a total of 62.5% of the max. Until health is restored and you can continue. Don’t know how this example wasn’t proof that I’m not suggesting it replaces the original mechanic, this suggestion would be an add on. Since self damage is no longer an option, this would be a replacement for that method. But the original converted damage to vex armor mechanic would still remain. The other guy saying something about infinite duration, I have no idea what he is going on about as I never made such suggestion. Maybe it was a glitch but my Vex Armor can reach 888% Fury but when I didn’t reach the max soon enough, for some reason the damage I took wouldn’t make the current buff go any higher. Like there’s 2 durations, one for the ability itself and the other for the damage conversion. I simply stated that this channeling option won’t have that limited duration and would only be limited to the duration of the vex armor itself itself. I don’t know how I can make it any clearer. I tried to give as much details as possible so that people wouldn’t misunderstand the concept. I used the word ADDITION to describe it so that people would/should know that it’s not a change or removal of the original mechanic. Since the original requires just tapping the ability, this addition would be a press and hold. If people don’t want to channel health and shields, they could still just tap the ability and run out into the horde of enemies like they currently already do. This suggestion simply gives an alternative option to reach the goal.
  22. The main reason I disagree with keeping chroma as he currently is, it’s that the buff ain’t good enough for the type of high level missions DE has us playing. Steel Path enemies are extremely tough for their level, it’s even more annoying that they aren’t giving you that much more affinity. Example, a level 100 is magically 5x tougher than a level 50, and yet the affinity amount is maybe 2x. That’s bad enough, but when enemies can easily one shot you even with a maxed out vex armor buff, then all that “risk” is just not worth it as you’d gain nothing. I use to see a chroma about as often as I’ve seen other frames. Now I only see chroma like once per 100 missions if that. Some levels aren’t damaging you enough to build up the vex armor quickly which most people don’t have time for. While others can one shot you even with the vex armor which makes you want to avoid all damage at all times. Removing self damage from chroma and not replacing it with an alternative has made chroma way less popular, almost non-existent from my perspective, and it removed so much teamwork that could utilized with chroma. I used Nidus to buff up chroma then used him to buff up Rhino while standing near chroma to created an iron skin of 249,000. One guy tries to belittle such accomplishment because he used a void defense laser which is limited to that one area while mine can be used anywhere. And that was with less/weaker than I have now. We were able to annihilate the Wolf of Saturn Six using that combo. While others complained he was way too tough, we made him look like an average boss. Now chroma is weaker, less popular, almost completely useless and too much of a burden to use. He’s become too much of a liability at this point. Every Circuit or steel path mission, dudes using chroma kept getting downed over and over. And those were just the few chroma users I even encountered after doing the circuit a few hundred times. If you have no problem using him as he is, then good for you. But as of right now the statistics from my experience the past year shows he’s almost non-existent.
  23. First off immediate means instantly. Don’t know why we would have 2 words for the same thing but that’s how it is. When you say “I immediate called someone” that means you wasted zero time to call someone, you instantly called them. So to claim that the buff would be “immediately” is to claim it would be instant. You even compared it to rhino’s roar which is instant. There’s no build up, no charge, just tap and there is the maxed buff. Second, sitting back to channeling health and shields into the buff is no different than when dudes used self damage. And the debate is people claiming DE said they are planning to bring it back while others are claiming they aren’t. So I don’t know which story is true. Regardless, as of right now, this addition, not simply a “change”, would replace the self damage option with the only slight difference of not accidentally downing yourself. Most people don’t down themselves so it’s irrelevant at this point to argue in defense of “risk”. And third, you keep acting as if people are always gonna find some corner out of sight to have the time to channel their health and shields into the vex armor. People used self damage to do what you are claiming would happen with this addition. DE didn’t remove self damage because of chroma. When I blow up containers right after using iron skin, it doesn’t buff my iron skin. When I used self damage with iron skin activated, it buff it up. Therefor DE could’ve easily designed Vex armor to only work from enemy fire much like Iron Skin, but they didn’t. The purpose of the channeling option is to replace self damage. And even if DE were to bring it back, they could choose to keep this addition for players who don’t want to rush their vex armor at the risk of being self downed. And I can already tell you, most people will not wait if self damage is ever brought back. Be nice if DE added self damage back exclusively to chroma, but I doubt they will. DE was able to remove self radiation status. Because dudes were doing that and killing their teammates. If DE can target specific statuses or what damage can affect certain abilities, they could easily fix Chroma. But they haven’t done so. Everybody else wants chroma to be changed into some nuking Frame, I’m suggesting a way to keep him as he has always been. And nobody else is providing an alternative. Some enemies take too long to build up the Vex Armor while others are one shooting me and I’m not the only one having this issue. I stopped using chroma because of that. And every chroma I stumble across either have very low vex armor or they go down way too much. That is why I’m suggesting this addition. Channeling health and shield would be no different than you throwing explosive kunai at the ground. Except for the fact this addition stops at 1 health point. While the self damage can down you. But most people using chroma know when to stop the self damage, heal themselves, then continue. So your argument against this suggestion would be no different than arguing against chroma’s self damage option. DE fixed chroma before the self damage removal and they never removed the self damage option from chroma’s vex armor. So at this point I don’t comprehend your argument. Instead of quoting a couple of sentences and sending paragraphs for each quote, can you just skip straight to the point? “Adding this option to Chroma’s Vex Armor would take away the risk for rewards aspect…” and self damage used to do the same for most people. The examples of teamwork I used were actually used when self damage was a thing. So if you are arguing that Chroma Vex Armor should have always been the way it is now, where only direct damage from enemies can build it, then just say that. That’s what I mean when I say your arguments are irrelevant. As they could easily have been said back before self damage was removed. And at that point we would have to agree to disagree. And when I said you’re arguments be assuming some sort of implications, such as using the word “immediately” which literally means instantly, then yeah, I never said such buffs would be immediate or instant. It would take time to build up and most people aren’t gonna wait that long. And some times they will still go down and their vex armor cancels which could lead to them having to start over while in an inconvenient situation like that already did before the self damage. I already did the math and this option being added to Vex Armor would be no different to most players who were Chroma mains before self damage. This option would help the newbies who just started playing with chroma. Preparation also equals rewards too which even self damaged was prepared for before it was removed.
  24. I never said it would be “immediately”. I called it a channeling ability as it channels health and shields into the vex armor. It would take time to charge it up. Wouldn’t be anything like roar as everything about it is different other than it being a damage type buff. Roar is maxed instantly at what ever power strength you currently have and can’t be increased until it runs out. While this suggestion would require some time to build, slowly, not quickly. I feel like you didn’t fully read and comprehend my suggestion. You made multiple arguments that seem either irrelevant or made false implications. Not once did I mention the ability being immediate or instant. Tapping the button activates Vex Armor normally as it already currently does. But the addition would mean holding it would cause Chroma to slowly give up his health and shields to build up the buff. Much like Inaros and his scarab armor. Sometimes you don’t got time to wait for someone to inflict damage on you, especially if you’re in a squad who kill everything before they can inflict even the most minor of damage. Which is why people used the self damage option as it was way quicker and less risky. Dudes would buff their chroma in like 3 seconds at risk of downing themselves. This channeling have similar results except it would stop at 1 health point, which would leave you vulnerable if done in a very inconvenient moment, and it would take longer than 3 seconds. Like channeling 10 points per second for 30 seconds total, maxed. Maybe increased efficiency or casting speed would speed up the process. Idk, I leave those numbers up to DE to ultimately decide. Didn’t think I had to break down every single measurement. Most of that is up to DE to decide so there’s no point in given a number as some will say it’s too long despite the current situation which doesn’t provide an alternative option at all, while others will say is too quick, much like you’re doing now even though I called it a channeling ability that channels health and shields into the vex armor and even tried to describe a scenario where if you took damage while channeling. Figured y’all would have encountered Inaros and understood. It wouldn’t be like Garuda or Harrow who sacrifices their health/shields instantly. How else could you spend 50% of your health and shields while taking damage to the rest in the example that I gave? You’re talking to a guy who uses chroma a lot, a lot more than you did considering I know like 100+ teamwork combos that he can used for besides just simply buffing up his allies. Using the channeling option wouldn’t be much different than self damage except for the fact you have to restore your health and would take longer to build up to max, plus not risk downing yourself. If some don’t have the patience, they can do it the old fashion way. If they do and would rather the mission, not to mention teamwork, go smoothly, this would be a nice alternative option. Again, just my opinion, but I would appreciate it if assumptions weren’t made when debating about someone’s concept or suggestions.
  25. That simple. His Vex Armor requires damage to health and shields to work. But since self damage has been removed and there debates about bringing it back, channeling is the only alternative option. Simply, if you tap the third ability, it activates Vex Armor. But you must hold the ability in order to channel both health and shields in the buffs. If DE doesn’t want it to be too easy, then maybe as a secondary option, the channeling uses more health and shields where the default stats only build both buffs like 25%. But the channeling has no duration limit except for the vex armor duration itself. So you can wait, rebuild health and shields then hold the ability again to continue raising the buffs till they reach 100% maxed buffs. As a secondary option, if you take damage you will still gain the buffs at a normal speed. Let’s say a full default health of 300 builds 100% if damaged. While that same amount only builds 25% of channeled. If you managed to channel 150, you’d gain 12.5% of the increase, if the other 150 is damaged, then you would gain another 50% of the increase, making the full Fury buff increase to 62.5% of max buff. So if your Fury can buff damage by 500%, then you’d gain 312.5% damage buff until you recover and can continue building. Tapping the ability again would refresh the duration like it usually does. At least this ADDITION to the Vex Armor would be very convenient and reduce unnecessary risks. Even if self damage was to return, this second option could still remain for those who don’t want to take such risks with self damage. This secondary option wouldn’t affect anybody else. Only benefit certain others. It’s not a complete change to the ability, just an alternative option. With the right teamwork this alternative option can easily be tolerated. 2 chromas with fire and electric to buff both health and shields could easily fix the health and shield channeling limit. A Trinity could restore both over and over. Multiple teamwork options and isn’t teamwork the main thing DE tries to encourage in public games? Just my opinion. Others I’ve spoken to agree but we obviously don’t speak for everybody.
