I completely forgot, in the past I have wanted a Warframe that could place genuine portals.

Not wormholes the way Nova works, but genuine, fully functional. Portals.

Allowing you and your allies to warp between different points of a Tileset or Map in the blink of an eye. I think there is genuine potential for it.

I mean, imagine having a Portal on a Railjack and another Portal on a Hijacked crewship or on a Grineer/Corpus station.

Of course, certain restrictions would have to be put in place so players aren't purposefully bugging missions, such as automatically closing portals when you transition to an area that unloads part of the map or makes it inaccessible.

Considering the Janus Key and Warframes are made from the same people, the same ones who tried to make a Warframe able to control the void but ended up destroying its body and wears the remnants of fallen frames, Haku. I could picture if the Orokin created a frame that was designed to be able to do things that the Janus Key was capable of. A Warframe capable of leading others to conquer worlds. Nova was basically a stepping stone on their way to perfecting a Warframe capable of opening portals to other planets and the void.

In doing so, I picture a Warframe capable of just more than just opening a wormhole. Like imaging a frame that can create portals anywhere it looked. Then can create another that shoots the enemies out. Similar to Undertow, they get sucked in and fired out of another. Like a combination of Nova and Vauban. Or like Grendel. Maybe they’re inflicted with magnetic status effect. And if fired into other enemies, they become afflicted with the status as well.

Maybe creates and sort of vortex/black hole that enemy nearby bullets are pulled into and redirected in multiple directions. If Umbra sent an exalted blade slash into it, it will cause multiple to fire in all directions. Power strength boosts the multiplier.

Can create a vortex in its hand that can draw in enemy fire. Drains energy to keep. Then tap again and it will reopen it and fire all those bullets back into the enemies. Can be run with but can use weapons. If a melee user runs up, they get pulled into it like Vauban’s vortex but can’t hold too many, cancel to basically throw the enemies away.

Maybe can create a portal to the void itself and cause void lightning to rain down upon the enemies. Causes overguard on enemies to be completely removed leaving them vulnerable to other abilities.

Maybe could target enemy weak spots on their bodies and cause the bullets to be pulled towards them. Basically this frame could control portals to the point of opening and closing on an enemy’s body and instant kill. Obviously DE wouldn’t make it that op, so figured this would be an alternative.

Basically this is a Warframe with such control over the ability to open portals he is capable of doing a lot more. Create small ones that pulls enemies in and inflicts damage as the pull is strong. Like breaking open a window while in space. With such control the frame can do many different things. But it’s main thing is opening one to a certain space which causes the pull effect.

I’m using nova, vauban, and Grendel to help with the visuals. Part of me pictures him being the source that brings Vor back from the void. Leading to a new set of grineer equipped with orokin enhanced gear. Leading to a bit of a rebellion against Vay Hek therefor creating not so much as a new faction but definitely a new group to deal with. Have Corrupted Vor become an official boss. And maybe at some point we are able to use the Janus Key as a weapon if DE doesn’t find an alternative use.

But other than that, I can’t think of much off the top of my head.

Idea for new Fame: A Gambler.

Uses Dice, Cards, coins, maybe slots as abilitie, most of which could be buffs or debuffs.

and how well it rolls/draws etc changes how the ability works.

ex: Coin flip, Heads does X to foes tails does Y

other stuff may affect strength and/or range of abelites.

Don’t think DE will be willing to make such a frame. As a gambling frame that means good and bad abilities and a lot of luck. Don’t see DE making a frame that relies heavily on luck. “Well the options don’t have to be negative…” then it wouldn’t be a “Gambling” warframe.

But basically it sounds like a frame that has multiple abilities for each type that are picked at random. Percentage based on options, obviously. 4 options means 25% chance of landing on the one you want. Maybe has augment mods that are like cheats where you can switch between the options. His passive seems like something like doubling credit pick up. However if you take fatal damage all the credit is dropped/lost.

As a first ability he would probably have something like rolling a 6 sided dice and it causes either 3 buffs or debuffs. Like an increase or decrease a certain weapon stat. Like damage, status chance, or critical chance. Can be recasted immediately but at the cost of health as well as energy.

As a second ability he would probably have something like flicking orokin designed coins at enemies that either slows their fire rate/melee swings or speeds them up but with reduced accuracy.

As a third ability he would probably throw like 2 4 sided dices. Enemies become distracted by them and run towards them. If they land on the same number, the enemies become paralyzed and  stripped of their weapons. If not, they become irritated and charge after you with increased speed but also vulnerability.

As a fourth ability, he applies a buff to himself based on what your last 3 abilities landed on. First ability determines if he gains increased health, armor, or shields. If negative, that buff is increased by +100%. Second ability determines whether he draws out exalted dual primaries similar to the Grataka or gains damage reduction. And finally the third ability either increases his spring speed or his ammo capacity.

And his Augment mods for his 3 abilities are simply designed to basically allow him to cheat where it removes the negative and gives you the option to choose what it lands on. Loaded dices, double sided coin, that sort of thing.

Granted this kind of ability set-up is complex and kind of messy. DE would have to figure out how to balance them out to where they aren’t too much. I chose based on the nature of gambling. Wild West style the guys had to be quick on their draw when someone tried to back stab them and that can lead to reduce accuracy. If you double crossed someone they chase after you and you better run. As a master gambler who always has a trick up your sleeve, you have a backup plan increase your other attempts fail and take advantage of the situation. Part of gambling is giving up things to go another round which is why health and energy is sacrificed. Confidence and fear can overwhelm you and cause you to mess up.

That’s what the abilities above reflect. I’m not very good at figure out the best combination or stats. So that’s something for DE to organize if they ever take this concept into consideration.

Kind of picture him being the source of riven mods. His appearance is hard to decide on as we already got frames that could fit the description. Both limbo and mesa kind of got that mystery gambling man vibes with their appearances.

    But that’s just my opinion.

    just like that

    we got gyre-volt /nezha-ember /yareli-hydroid

come on give us frosty vibe here with female version

and for sure i do not mean only frost but each frame that got element type too

The concept I always pictured was a female ice skater theme. Basically she skates instead of the typical walking/sprinting. I’m not sure how DE would/should do her stats but for the most part I picture her being pretty quick. Like her usual speed is 1 but jumps to 1.2 if she has been “sprinting” for certain period.

Passive - she’s immune to frosted floors or ice status in general. Ice status makes them slow down, but for her she moves faster instead. Can skate on water as it turns to ice beneath her feet.

First Ability - she does an ice dash that leaves a lingering frost trail that slows enemies down. She forms ice blades and slashes enemies with frost damage. Damage is also increased by speed stat buffs.

Second Ability - she creates a ring of frost status that freezes the ground within range which not only boosts her speed, but it slows enemies down around her. The ring follows her.

Third Ability - she performs an ice skating spin that deals frost and slash damage towards enemies. While spinning she is not able to travel as fast but she can still build up momentum. It becomes more difficult to stop and turn so it can’t be used 24/7. A percentage of bullets either miss or get deflected.

Fourth Ability - she creates blades of ice on her legs and arms. She has her own martial arts/sparring melee style that utilizes more acrobatic moves and spins. Her first and third ability deal more damage if used while this ability is activated.

So far this is the concept I pictured for her. I pictured her having a whip/dual whip like signature melee kind of like those dancers that wave those tape like strings around during their dances.

As for her appearance, that would be hard to describe considering we are talking about a complex detailed Warframe. But for the most part I picture her being a bit on the thin side. Somewhere between Wisp and Titania. Knowing DE, they’d probably give her thick legs considering most of her moves involves leg strength. Her appearance would be somewhere between a dress and a ballerina skirt. Maybe shows her with an ice crown like helmet to represent her as a sort of frost queen. But there are many different dancer type style appearance so it’s hard to choose. Her colors would obviously involve blue and white. But I picture her leaning more towards light blue as her most dominant default color.

Anyways, this to me is the best/most unique way for DE to create an female frost themed frame.

  4. What I would like to see is:

First Ability: hold to build up damage while consuming more energy then release to unleash greater bolts of damage. Maybe can be held while running which reduces the energy consumption by channeling the friction/static.

Second Ability: tap for oneself or hold to include nearby teammates. So some people won’t complain about being buffed. Also during the speed buff, enemy accuracy is reduced. Similar to like what Baruuk does but on a much lower scale. To represent volt be so fast and dodging the bullets.

Third Ability: press and hold to cast the shield already equipped, holding the first ability and casting it onto the shields allows more electric damage when enemies touch it.

Fourth ability: hold to create an electric explosion that not only damages enemies but damages cameras and crates. Maybe even short circuits the locked caches to where they can be unlocked. While holding(R1 for PlayStation), if you press the first ability button(X for PlayStation) then all that energy is channeled into a single large electric beam.

Something like that. I wish water element does a splash status that makes enemies more vulnerable to electricity and frost damage/status. Wet enemies are frozen solid by frost status or become huge conductors if hit with electric damage that can effect nearby enemies. Would make Hydroid way more useful.

    But that’s just my opinion.

It got a fair bit off attention over reddit

    https://www.reddit.com/r/Warframe/comments/11l2kfb/regina_bee_warframe_art_by_carl_tabora/

It even landed a spot on prime time so I know both Rebecca and megam at least saw the art. The art is from Carl tabora, quite talented artist

I used Artist.ai app along with an image of wisp and Titania to create this concept. Had to make multiple adjustments and repeat over and over a few dozen times before I got this image which is the closest to what I pictured for a Bee Frame. The head could be changed to where it looks less like a deluxe skin and more like an original frame. Maybe that glow line on her leg could be removed. And those bees could look more robotic. Like Maybe she has a long stinger like melee that she can throw like a spear with her heavy melee attack that draws in these robotic looking bees that inflict toxic and puncture damage towards surrounding enemies.

But for the most part this is like 90% what I pictured for a Bee Frame. Maybe you can use it to create an alternative appearance that’s more Warframe accurate. Also, no offense but yours give off yellow jacket vibes. Not quite “bee” vibes. Just my opinion.

Anyways this is the image I was able generate after dozens of repeats and adjustments. x3AfMXt.jpg

I have been thinking about the idea of a Warframe with a disability like Blindness or Deafness...but gain empowered senses somewhere else.

Like a Blind Warframe that can echolocate.

We sorta have our Deaf Warframe, Banshee in the sense that silence ironically renders you deaf as well during it's time.

A mute Warframe would probably use ASL to cast abilities.

maybe their sign words would have more power than normal words.

what do you think? is the idea too jarring? I of course don't mean to offend any people with disabilities.

Basically a Baruuk Limbo hybrid? Somebody that uses more magic like abilities mixed with martial arts that go hand in hand with his sign language. Where we see him perform sign language during ability casts. Maybe show like magic circles.

I picture a frame that has other senses enhanced. He can see enemy footprints, or something like steam/smoke that shows an enemy is nearby. Due to this, he is good at masking his own scent and such so the ability to be detected is reduced. Dogs and such can’t sense him and enemies take longer to notice him.

As for blind, considering Warframes have no eyes, it would appear they are already blind. But then how do they detect people? No eyes, no ears, no nose. I think it’s just a flaw in the design. People taking way too literally. Umbra has a visible infested eye when his mask was damaged. Definitely signs they still have their senses. I picture such a blind frame having a unique view of the map. For starters they can “see” the entire map from the start as they are able to receive sounds bouncing off all the walls. Maybe this blind frame has an origin of being really good at “chess” so he’s good at pinpointing enemy locations and creating a map inside his head.

So I was thinking how cool it could be to get an insect/bug themed frame, and I managed to come up with an idea for how a Bee themed warframe would work.

Name: Apis (Scientific name for a honeybee, this is placeholder for the concept but i kind of like it.)

Passive: Apis has omnidirectional aimglide, meaning that you can automatically switch directions while aimgliding really easily, allowing you to "fly". Apis can automatically collect hp orbs which she stores in a "Honey meter." Honey is slowly converted into energy for Apis, while high amounts of honey will cause Apis to gain an attack speed buff.

Ability 1: Apis uses honey from the meter to create a trap on the ground. Enemies are lured towards the honey trap and become stuck on it, slowing down until they are unable to move while their guns are jammed by the honey. Holding the ability creates a beneficial honey aoe that gives allies hp and a little bit of energy regen.

Ability 2: Apis marks enemies with bee pheromones, readying her for nectar harvest. Enemies will become confused by this, causing them to stop attacking and take extra damage. Enemies that are marked will drop extra health orbs, allowing Apis to collect honey.

Ability 3: Apis creates a swarm of bees which target nearby enemies, stacking Corrosive procs along with toxin procs that are a % of enemy hp. Enemies in honey are priority targeted by bees making them take double damage and drop extra health orbs. Damage caused will increase the honey in the meter, while having a mostly full honey meter will cause the bees to become "excited," making them attack more quickly.

Ability 4: Apis uses her stinger, doing high damage to enemies. Swarms of bees, honey traps, and pheromones will each increase the damage enemies take from the stinger.  Surviving enemies lose their armor.

So I used an AI “artwork” app to try and create a bee frame. I used a picture of wisp as a model and put “bee” in the prompt section. Which created this:AJNMVRG.png

Then I clicked “regenerate” then used the picture of Titania. I did it twice, which gave these 2 images:7ckkC3V.jpg

    x3AfMXt.jpg

Just goofing around. But I feel the third image is more accurate and unique. Maybe make the bees look more robotic and reduce the head features a little.

The app I use is Artist.ai take a picture of a couple of frames you feel have the right model shape then use a keyword or 2… or 3… for the AI to add or change to the image. It can be done infinite number of times for different results. Click regenerate to create a “new art” that sort of merges the new “art” with the original image and make more adjustments. For the regenerate you can change the words for the prompt and replace the image you used for a different one to create a more hybrid like version. As you can see with third pic I posted, she shares features from both wisp and Titania.

You’d have to try many times to get as close as you can. If you have any drawing skills, you could use the new image as a default if indecision was your issue. I can’t draw very well and there’s too many options to choose from. The third pic is like 95% close to what I pictured for a bee frame.

Anyways, I just had a semi fun moment just messing with the app. Can definitely come in handy for both artists and non-artists when it comes to randomly choosing ideas for models.

Aii is what I've started writing when I'm talking about AI generated images (AI image). I should have specified. When I wrote this I was pretty tired. Normally I wouldn't have used an acronym.

In any case, I use Midjourney to create AI generated images. A crab themed frame has been kind of a pain with the AI generator, but its had some interesting results like the one that inspired this silly concept.

It would be awesome to have more submersible/underwater content. I'm not sure why we get penalized for going in the water in the current open worlds considering there are a number of submersible mission types...

    OWToZ9T.jpg

This is the image the app made when I simply said Green Crab, and added the unfinished 3D model of my volcanic frame concept. The app is actually kind of fun to use. Just wish there was more diversity of ideas instead of trying to make so many of my images into over sexualized females. But at least this one kind of came out decent to me.

    This is the 3D model I used:1ywp4Jr.jpg

First off, appreciate the info, I’ll definitely look into Midjourney.

As for the water penalty, DE just simply didn’t make them submersible. Kind of like if you fall in the water on certain earth missions. While Uranus was specifically designed for underwater experience. Basically their coding of the map ends at the water. Basically the water is nothing more than a digital mirage.

However, if they start getting more into submersible missions, they could expand that to other areas. Maybe get into making an underwater open world on Uranus. Create gear that allows Warframes to travel underwater without the arch wing and give more freedom of movement. Arching could still be used for faster long distance travel.

As of right now those water areas are like if you glitch out of the map and respond back on land. You’re basically falling into some digital void. DE doesn’t have any other purpose for them other than giving us a view.

The Duviri Paradox is almost exactly what I’ve been suggesting DE create but for all maps/planets. Doing the same exact objective every single time gets really boring. So I tried suggesting missions be something more random kind of like the Bounty stages but with more options, less distance traveling, and a lot of side objectives that don’t have a time limit before they can be active. So I’ve been trying to make concepts that are mostly about adding additional objectives to existing missions. Had dudes try to mock me for it too. Even tried making suggestions that make the Tenno more useful and have their own melees. Shooting void energy get boring as well.

But now that Duviri is here first thing I want to say to all the narrowminded trolls is “IN YOUR FACE!”. But now I can’t stop picturing more exploration. Being able to travel in lots of different places with lots of different side objectives. Kept picturing more desert landscapes with “Maw” like creatures lurking underneath the sand. To bring back that moment when you had to travel across a cave with a Maw traveling underneath the ground. With corpus and grimmer both occupying Mars, I also pictured an open world that goes from super icy to sandy and the syndicate faction there is comprised of both grineer and corpus defectors. And the main person who speaks to you is the leader of Steel Meridian.

Right now that’s all I’ve been constantly focusing on. And water creature related theme concepts for Warframes opens the door to more exciting underwater open world exploration. So I’m very supportive of such concepts so long as they are Warframe material. This could even be the first time DE released multiple frames at the same time. Much like giving you an option on multiple weapons in duviri. Could be like the 3 sea kings or something. But after they “disappeared”, the enemy factions took over the 3 underwater areas.

Here's a 10sec concept of a hermit crab frame based on an Aii I generated earlier today.

    Aii that inspired the idea:

      Hide contents

    leqesai_Full-figure_Female_Crab_Warframe

So first off, what is “Aii”? And how did you do this exactly? Only asking cause I’ve been picturing a lot of Warframe but I can’t draw very well. Took me a while to get an unfinished Volcanic Frame concept drawn. One guy did an unfinished 3D model of my concept as well. But I want to be able to have a lot more concepts. If I’m able to do so, I’d probably go around making artworks for every frame concept I see just so that DE could be a little faster at deciding what frames they want to make and introduce into the game.

But this hermit crab concept got me picturing a new open world that’s located on a very large beach. Able to go under the water so long as you have an arch wing. And this Frame acts as the guardian of the open world. Leaving all sorts of creatures to deal with, both on land and in the water, including infested variants during certain cycles. With dudes talking about shark frame concepts, I’m picturing a few amphibian/fish/crustacean concepts that could be released all at once. Like how DE intended for Gauss and Grendel to be released at the same time.

    S S A shark based frame.

    Skills:
Bite (chomps foes reducing armor and inflecting a bleed like status effect

Submerge (like hydriod but with shark fin sticking up

Rough Skin  - buffs self with minor armor deals damage to foes who hit/ or are too close

? maybe a rage based thing?

Multiple people have made a shark theme concept as a joke. And the concept I’ve tried to make was basically mocked by narrowminded trolls.

The Concept I had in mind was a predatory fish themed. Basically a frame that can summon predatory fish to aid it. Basically summoning land sharks and piranhas, or has a water like effect where it creates pools that such fish jump out of.

This frame has the extra passive ability to basically run on water almost like a K drive or Gauss Mach Rush. Extra as in not the main passive. The main passive is difficult for me to decide on.

So the first ability it charges at the enemies with an energy shark teeth projection that inflicts puncture damage. The ability can also drag the enemies forward and launch them away. Range determines how wide the “bite” is while duration determine how far the travel is.

Second ability I figured summons an army of flying Piranhas that latch onto the enemies, reducing their armor, and causes them to panic trying to shake them off. Sometimes I figured it can switch between different types of sea creatures to deal corrosive, electric, or puncture.

Third I pictured either summoning something like a land shark or creates one that swims in the ground like Hydroids undertow and tidal surge. Chomping on all that’s in its path. Following the frame like a companion or sentinel before charging at nearby enemies, almost forming a circle around the frame.

Fourth ability I was thinking basically exalted dual swords summoned that turns out to be sword fish types. Can summon either ones for puncture or ones for slash. The puncture ones would have a unique jousting like fighting style while the slash damage ones would look like saw blades. Can cancel the ability to throw them at the enemy inflicting damage equal to the base damage multiplied by the combo multiplier. Can do lunch through to pierce through multiple enemies, almost like throwing a dual spear type primary.

But that’s about all I can really think of that isn’t too similar to existing frames. Won’t stop dudes from trolling and being disrespectful either way. Acting like there’s some rule in DE rule book stating there can’t be a frame that shares any similarities with existing frames despite DE already creating dozens. They’ll find the tiniest, most smallest trait and say they oppose the concept cause it is shared with another frame. At this point it’s impossible to make a frame that isn’t similar to another. Even their latest frame Kullervo is similar to several frames.

But that’s my concept of a Predatory Fish Theme. I use the more broad term so that it opens the door to more options besides just one like shark.

I was using lich as an umbrella term and Orokin to really just drive the prime frame thing home, I was tired when I wrote that so forgive my brain trying and failing to word things in a way that made my thoughts clear. I could refer to them as a nemesis, I suppose.

as for reasons. It could be related to Varzia and aya. “New” mission type called aya capture or something and there’s some dimp who stole a bunch of regal aya, you find them, capture them and return the aya, but if you slap the guy with operator form, he gets a little void magicked and ends up using the aya to meld with an old version of your frame. it’s not perfect, and it’s probably not gonna happen anyway, but it’s just what was going on up in the old noggin

Well the Archons are Warframes so something tells me DE already has plans on making more enemy Warframes.

  14. 3 hours ago, (PSN)CptCombustanut said:

So, as I’ve been smashing my head against valencing my Kuva Hek to 60% on its progenitor bonus and farming ephemeras, Ive been thinking about liches a lot lately, how the system could be improved etc. but that’s not what this is about.

Recently, I was reminded that Infested (and I believe sentient? I’m unsure on this one) liches would be added in eventually. This of course got me thinking about what weapons they would get, and then that got me thinking about those potential sentient weapons, which was a pretty short list of current weapons that could be given lich variants, so I got to thinking maybe they’d give Venato a variant.

Then that sparked my little pea brain into thinking about a whole system about going into the void, spawning a lich variant of your current Warframe, which would of course be orokin-esque gilded variants resembling the prime forms but not exactly so there’s still some design wiggle room for non prime frames. Or just limit it to prime frames, but eh.

The lich weapons would the frames signature weapons, instead of focusing on tweaking stats around too much to offset the 60% bonus damage, it could instead add a small like 5% bonus of void damage with no way to increase it and an increased signature weapon bonus (Lich Fulmin has an even faster mode switch on wisp, or mode switch has a charged chamber effect on the first shot after switching firing modes. Stuff like that)

This gives them a way to go back and assign signature weapons to old frames. Also, as someone who actually enjoys the role play aspect of the game (as little as there is) it feels like it’d be a way to go an extra mile to really solidify myself as a Tenno who has bonded with the frame so much their void abilities are seeping through the frame.

ephemera’s would still be a by progenitor element, so there doesn’t have to be a unique one for every frame, but there could be a much rarer void ephemera as well.

Also if you really want, you could add a “incarnon” mechanic for your frames, but I feel that’s a bit too much potential power creep, a lot of design work (much more so than it already is, basically designing a new kit for every frame) and overall not really what I was going for. I figure the most would be probably a new void touched skin.

I couldn’t find anything on this, but I’m sure I’m not the only person to think of this, so if this is already a thread that has either died out or is currently active let me know and I’ll take this down, no need to have two.

if not, what do y’all think? I know a lot of people don’t care for liches, so I’m curious to hear all manners of thought on this.

Tl;dr spawn a lich based off your Warframe and get sweet void based signature gear to really flex on the Mr 1 players who’s just finished crafting wukong that you’re just that much better.

Lich refers to “dead body” which explains why killing them is what starts their evolution. The Kuva lich were dead/near dead grineer that were revived and enhanced by the kuva which is old/dried orokin blood. So in a way, it’s like the grineer became orokin themselves. Their experience with the Warframe that killed/nearly killed them allowed them to adapt to that Warframe.

The Sisters of Parvos are given enhanced technology that makes them tougher to beat. Rather than evolve physically or genetically like the grineer, they evolve more intelligently and technologically.

So the concept of a Lich is that they evolve/adapt. Considering that sentient already adapt, you’d think that there would have already been a sentient Lich. Which brings us to Alad V. He is a FORMER corpus but gave that up when he became infested and later joined the sentiments. So a sentient Lich would probably be something he creates. Using a certain amalgam larvaling in a sense. Like one that has had sentient technology injected into them like some sort of nanites that made them tough. But after a near death experience with a Warframe, they recovered and evolved into an Amalgam Lich.

Infested Lich would have to be something either related to the Zealots who started off as followers of a false priest/savior then slowly became enhanced infested. Or some completely new infested. With the zealots they could just start off as followers who have been infected with the infestation virus that adapted to the near death experience with the Warframe to become new Zealot Lich. Or somehow the infested created a new kind of mutation that allows them to evolve after their encounter with the Warframe. Like a mosquito mixed with a butterfly.

Fir the orokin, there is no version of a Lich that could really be done that isn’t some complete copycat of previous liches. In the void they are just enemy factions being control by the orokin security. They aren’t a specific race like the others. There is no main boss or anything. The closest I can picture would be if Corrupted Vor was involved. Like if the grineer figured out a way to bring him back from the void and with it not only does Vor enhance some of their weapons with orokin technology like his Seer pistol, but also creates a new device that he places on certain grineers that enhances them both physically and technologically. Much like how Vor was cut in half but the void brought him back, he gives certain members a device that repeats that effect for them, causing them to be revived with the power of the void and depending on the frame, they have a unique weak spot like Corrupted Vor does. They would become a sort of Corrupted Lich. Maybe he even recruits some corpus and an Ancient infested to also be a part of his new army. So basically picture the enemies with a void core located somewhere on their bodies with orokin enhance armor and weapons.

The Incarnon involves void angels. People who were turned by the void. Like if the void was some sort of radiation that mutated them. I honestly picture a new open world with a dark creepy forest vibe but the trees are actually people from different factions who have been changed. Some of the “trees” are actually dormant void angels waiting to pounce. For a Lich to be involved, some sort of unique way to resist the “song” would have to be invented and the enemies killed would weaken it enough for the “song” to take over but not completely, causing them to become enhanced but with their minds still mostly intact, allowing them to utilize the void Angel abilities with much more deadly potential.

That’s about all I could picture being possible for such liches that follow the current story/plot/lore. Otherwise DE would have to do something completely new. Something that would change the direction of the lore.

That was a valid point until yareli is water frame but magical girl , and protea is vauban 2 as far as theme is concerned

And? There’s dozens of abilities and tricks one can use a single element for. So why must we settle with only 4 and that’s just it? We got people wanting such abilities to be completely changed when DE could just create another frame who uses the same element for a different purpose.

Y’all act like there was some rule saying that DE will not use the same element. No such rule exists so you need to stop acting like it does. Protea is not “vauban 2.0) and Yareli is not hydroid. They are 2 completely different frames with completely different abilities. If DE makes another ice user, the frame will not be another Frost, it would be a completely different ice using frame with completely different abilities.

Nobody has ever made such stupid narrowminded claims about any other game that involves using the same element for alternative purposes. Excalibur Umbra is literally Excalibur 2.0. These other frames are not the 2.0 version of any existing frame.

    Couple of things.

1: Isn't Sevagoth pretty much the "grim reaper" frame? He literally has an ability called "reap" that reaps enemies... He also has a theme built around death/spirits and sharp things.

2: Why would a grim reaper frame have a "3 headed hellhound"?

3: He uses a chain to "reach down and pull a random warframe"? What? So he has a passive pet and an active pet summon?

I don't really see much "Grim Reaper" in this idea outside the 4 and possibly the 2. An exalted scythe would be pretty cool. Though it makes no sense to me why it would do fire damage. The Grim Reaper isn't really known to burn people. I think you're combining Grim Reaper with Ghost Rider, or something...

I made a similar concept but mine was basically like a bone manipulating frame that’s has a very grimreapish appearance. Many people made phantom frame concepts and each one I tried to describe literally Sevagoth. I said he would have a pretty sickly appearance almost like Nekros, thin limbs and such. Has a form that floats and such. Dudes mocked me by bringing up nekros even though I used nekros as an example.

But for the bone concept I tried to describe a frame that can gather bone materials to use for his other abilities. He can cause enemies to become crippled and drain their health, once it hits zero he can cause their bones to shoot out like spikes or bullets and damage nearby enemies. If enough bone fragments are gathered, he can coat himself in a bone armor that reduces damage and prevents status effects, a literal exoskeleton. But cast again to send shrapnel at nearby enemies. His appearance in that form would probably look closer towards Ichigo Vasto Lorde. His next one can summon skeleton minions with either claws for slash or single long spikes for puncture damage. And his final can be where he forges a bone Sythe.

But when I tried to introduce the concept, dudes wouldn’t stop bringing up Nekros who is not the same. Every Warframe has an ability, appearance, or animation that is similar to another. But not identical.

Part of the lore I had in mind was basically grineer found out how to bring Vor back from the void. When they opened the portal he bursts out in complete terror while demanding they close the portal. Which the screen switches to first person charging at the grineer and you just hear their screams. Basically this frame can sense those who are near death or should’ve died. Vor being one of them. Plus I figured it was about time Vor returned and becomes a new boss with the power of the void and void enhance technology at his disposal. Creating new variant weapons.

Part of his background origin was basically he was a type of executioner/interrogator. He knew how to bring fear out of someone, keep them alive despite their injuries. Get them to talk. And occasionally, he performs the execution of those the orokin deemed guilty.

It doesn't mean NOTHING. It just doesn't indicate mastery. Infact, I'm generally dissapointed by the majority of MR30+ appear to be just as effective as MR18s. Doesn't make any sense.

Don’t have to tell me. Every time I see a legendary rank person doing something stupid I’m like “how do they not know this by now? Did someone play for them?” But then I’ll encounter those on the pure opposite side of the mastery rank spectrum debate who tell me that me being LR3 means nothing when I tell them that’s my rank in response to how much I know the game.

That’s like someone asking me if I knew how life works and my response was “I’m an adult”, which they counter with saying “being an adult means nothing”. Then proceed to give examples of like people on the autism spectrum or something.

Again, it’s called an expectation. To achieve such a rank requires playing the game a lot, unlocking everything or almost everything. Therefor should have some knowledge. But unlike most games, this one has a short cut for those with money to throw away. They can just buy all their equipment or at least most of them, buy a lot of affinity boosters, then just level each thing one time to 30.

That’s like if you paid a teacher in some way or another to let you skip class and such and give you a passing grade. Of course you would be an adult with a very low IQ.

But the main debate over this MR level is whether someone is considered a veteran. Which refers to someone who has had a long experience in something. You don’t become a veteran over night. There are people who have a long experience but never learn their lesson.

edit: also yes ik this is a week old im bored and searching for conversations on forums

I had Euphona Prime when they became a thing and I just one shotted them all. Lol. But for the most part, excalibur blind, mag magnetize, and Volt Shields were easy methods. By the time you reach Frost, you should have so many mods and better weapons. Granted I chose to complete every mission and achieve the best weapons. Took a lot of bonus platinum and selling prime sets to obtain slots. Rhino was my first frame I obtained and made sure to buff his roar so I just went in with a roar and a single bullet.

Sure there's high MR people that are bad/lazy at the game, but the odds of a high MR player playing decently are way better than someone who is like, below MR15 or so.

Lmao, gotta love when they make these ignorant claims that MR means nothing. That’s like saying being an adult doesn’t mean maturity. It’s called an expectation. Someone who has reached MR30, SHOULD know a lot about the game. The fact that some don’t only shows they took short cuts, a lot of short cuts.

Know how many players I see daily asking for “lifts” to a location? When I started playing the game I chose to complete every single mission in the solar system while the dudes I was playing with felt doing so was pointless. But after getting close to done, they decided they didn’t want to be left behind by someone of a much lower level.

I encountered dudes crying about “taking all the kills” which I didn’t see the problem cause those players were leveling me up faster. I played most missions solo so I joined public games knowing some players will get most of the kills. So I couldn’t take such entitled ignorant narcissists seriously. One dude claimed my rhino roar was boosting his speed nova into a slow nova… “do you not have a rhino? Have you not actually read the ability description?”

I was so focused on getting missions done I didn’t even know what mods were. Was just flying through them. So used to games that take a lot to build up before receiving an upgrade so it just didn’t cross my mind. Thought dudes saying “mods” were talking about those hacks no lives like to use in call of duty or something. Then I realized they are talking about those cards and were shocked that I was basically using a naked frame and weapons the entire time while keeping up with them. After I learned what “mods” really were in this game, I started modding all my equipment which made things a lot easier.

I knew what Multishot was just by the name, it literally just means firing multiple bullets per round of firing. Instead of one bullet it can be 2-3. Which is basically 2-3x the damage. MR has nothing to do with someone’s ability to read and comprehend.

What so many of these people don’t get is that knowledge of the game is an EXPECTATION that comes with MR30. These dudes are acting like those 10 year old who hate being reminded that they are children, not adults and try to use uncommon low IQ adults as some excuse to claim being an adult means nothing. You can’t choose not to be promoted to a higher ranking officer then demand to treated as an equal to one who is. nor demand to receive the same payment as one either.

Know how many times I’ve seen dudes complain about not having as much standing and such due to their rank and demand that the ranking rewards/rights/promotions be removed just so they themselves feel better about their low rank? Imagine a guy refusing to rank up to your level at your job but demands to receive the same payment as you just cause.

I'd rather they add a prompt that asks the other players if they want to extract with them, accept to teleport to extraction and exit or decline to stay.

FINALLY!!! Either one of those options. Something besides just FORCED solo extraction. All players deserve a chance, a choice. This mechanic takes that away. I had guys extract without waiting even a second, EVERY SINGLE TIME. So this nonsense of “we shouldn’t be forced in endless missions” does not apply here. There’s a difference between solo extraction and FORCED solo extraction. Immediate optional extraction for all would be a better mechanic. Almost like a defense mission. 60 second solo extraction is an option. Maybe it counts as completion like Railjack does. So even a host migration won’t affect their rewards and progress. That could work too. I wouldn’t care about host migrations then.

You dont because its rare that it messes up for me, just got to sit through a loading.

I do however think the need to reomve the forced extraction and make it a timer, say 30 seconds, and then extract anyone at the exit. Because there are those hosts who exit, even if the whole team is moving to the exit anyway.

They need to make the game count as complete before extraction. Like with Kahn’s quests. Something to avoid this bug causing the game to host migrate and not count. I even reloaded back into the game as the new host but I chose to wait for the others/timer. And even after loading back to the Zariman, it still didn’t count.

On 2023-06-16 at 6:56 AM, BroDutt said:

NO. The extraction button is the best thing about Zariman. You don't have to wait for other player who insisted on doing endless mode on bounty. Or stupid enough NOT to go to extraction when near failing on Cascade, Void Flood and Armageddon, because they want to find some voidplume.

Infact they should add this on any Survival, Excavation and Disruption mission

Thanks for exposing yourself as someone too impatient to others get to the elevator.

And DE better not add this function to other open worlds for you to screw up their games too. Until DE makes the game count as completed without extracting like the do with Railjack missions, this needs to be removed so people like you don’t get to troll everybody.

Funny how you were so quick to assume most people complaining are doing endless missions. DE already added the option for solo extraction where there’s a timer. If players choose to risk it, that’s their choice. But FORCED solo doesn’t give anybody time at all. Y’all be doing it as soon as your foot touches the elevator.

I know what type of people they are who ask for things like this

And what type is that? We get you like wait 0 seconds for others to step in the elevator with you. Heck you probably one of those trolls that like to start elevators in regular missions and make them go up and down non-stop because you couldn’t wait 1 second to let others step on. Doesn’t give you the right to think you deserve to be impatient. DE will not lose anything removing this trolling tactic. Nobody else would be affected, only the trolls too impatient to wait 1 measly second.

It’s quite clear you’re either a troll or you didn’t even bother to read the entire post.  Because you think you’re entitled to rush through missions without giving anybody else a chance to catch up. Especially when this mission is literally all over the place and people end up scattered.

You and other posters above couldn’t even argue that DE should add a 60 second timer to solo extract like before. Or make the mission count as complete with extractions like Railjack missions.

No, instead you want to defend being allowed to mess up other people’s games with forced solo extraction and you can’t even justify it. “Because I like it” is not a justification, just an expression of your narcissism.

Host migration causes problems and it's been like since the very beginning, host migration is a last resort in case of connection problem, NOT a functionality to abuse or use it like it's part of the arsenal.

Now I don't know which influencer or youtuber or what personality abuse this functionality in public and NOW 3 out 5 hosts I encountered in zariman missions are abusing leave squad button, these self-centered inconsiderate kids can't even wait 60 SECONDS for their teammates, IN A CO-OP GAME.

Imaging being selfish and sacrifice 3 other ppl's mission progress so you can skip 30ish seconds of waiting, this is not only happening in zariman, other open world tile sets suffered the same abuse.

    suggestion:

    1. Endless missions on zariman tileset should follow the same philosophy like sanctuary onslaught where inability to complete objectives will simply stop the mission from progressing and ppl can choose to extract or not.
    2. As a host your leave squad functionality should have a cooldown of 45 mins. or "leave squad" need 60 seconds of chant/channeling for it to work (the same duration for extraction).

I never said DE should remove all solo extractions. I said they need to remove the FORCED solo extraction. And I’m gonna assume by these dudes complete ignorance that they think I’m one of those guys who thinks everybody should be forced to stay in endless missions.

Ummm… these dudes… don’t even wait… a single second… I had it host migrate as soon as I stepped into the elevator at the same time with the host. They couldn’t wait 60 seconds. And they think we’re the problem? They couldn’t even justify or defend keeping the Forced solo extraction. They couldn’t even attempt to discuss having a regular 60 second solo extraction. Nope, they want the ability to force solo extract as the host and mess up other people’s games.

Course these dudes are gonna say it’s the best thing. They get be as impatient as they want and have a laugh at making other not be given the choice to stay or go. 60 seconds gives them a choice and if they choose to stay, it’s their fault what happens. Forced solo extract takes that option away. We aren’t given the choice at all before it happens.

And it’s even worse cause these maps are all over the place. Some players are looking for certain resources or others are super quick, or multiple objectives going at once. Had a guy force extract while I was fighting a void Angel. Couldn’t even give me time to finish the Angel off. Another did it while I was dealing with the objective in a location farther from the portal. As soon as the mission was done, he host migrated without giving me a chance.

While as the host myself I have never, NEVER seen anybody choose to stay in the endless ones. They were ready to leave right then. And every single host migration was from somebody who didn’t wait 1 second. Even if DE added the solo 60 second timer, these dudes would still leave immediately. This is not like the actual open worlds. The objective isn’t completed until you extract.

DE would need to make the mission count as completed without needing to extract. Like the Railjack missions.

  22. Had ANOTHER host migration that kicked me out and didn’t count my mission completion. This is like the 100th time this has happened. I’m losing count. I’ve been forced to play solo because people won’t stop force solo extraction while being the host.

Either remove the option entirely from Zaramin missions, or make it a forced extraction FOR ALL, not solo. This is ridiculous and I know for a fact that all these people forcing solo extraction as the host are messing up other people’s games. So at this point it’s very intentional and nobody is gonna convince me otherwise so don’t bother trying.

It’s been way too long since the update release of Zaramin for this BUG/GLITCH to still be around. This needs to end.

  23. As the title suggests, there needs to be an alternative way for us to farm pathos clamps besides just those wyrms. Steep paths gives way too little. Steel path is roughly 3x harder so should reward 30 pathos clamps, not just 15.

But there needs to be an alternative considering the amount of stuff that needs them. Maybe add 1 as a reward for completing objectives in the Steel Path Circuit? Each objective, you gain 1 pathos clamp. Considering the hours spent grinding the circuit for the Incarnon genesis. Maybe we gain an extra after obtaining a certain amount of Decrees each time after the Wyrm defeat. Like if I ran around and completed another 5-10 side objectives.

Just something. I’m not asking for a lot. Just something besides just this one boss fight over and over and over. So much was needed to build the new weapons, now more is needed for the incarnon genesis. Don’t want to think of what extra content might need them. Then resource boosters don’t affect them either, which I can tolerate so long as there is alternative, less boring option. Doing the exact same mission over and over gets boring over time.

Just my opinion. But would be greatly appreciated not just by me.

This is just a few possible kuva weapons we could get in the future, that's about it. Here we go-

Sobek: I think everyone can agree the Sobek has earned some kind of variant. Ideally an Incarnon, but you know what a Kuva variant could do? Twin Sobek! Grakatas already set the precedent for turning a primary into a dual secondary, and I think the Kuva Hek's existence already gave us an answer for Twin Hek. So, how about some Twin Sobek action? Even gives DE an excuse to exclude the augment mod... Granted I would much rather we have a version that can use it. But all that said, I just want some proper twin shotguns that don't have awful range/abysmal ammo economy!

Kohmak: Literally just needs better ammo economy, that's about it.. Wouldn't complain about more damage and crit, though!

Kulstar: I know they're gonna butcher the ammo, but I want my pocket cluster-bombs without needing a secondary trigger! Plus the Bramma gets another little brother-

Twin Rogga: Better range, better falloff, and an actual magazine size. 4-6, minimum! It's already pretty beastly in stats, but 15-20% crit and 7-8% status would top this off to a real Pyrana Contender!

Quatz: Not sure if this one really needs the Kuva glowup, but some number-bumps would be nice to have an excuse to have this baddie's style keep its place in the meta. Plus, the reload discharge could be made into a proper grenade, like another certain infested weapon!

Stug: Gonna be honest, if there's a weapon that deserves the Incarnon treatment? It's this record-holding underachiever. That said, A kuva version could be nice to redo the primary fire mechanics into something really useable. Come on DE, turn the Stug into a pocket launcher to make the Nox blush!

Nox Gun: Speaking of the Nox, just give us their gun in kuva form... I wanna hurl sticky blobs at enemies with inexplicable cold procs to slow them down!

Marelok: You know how the Kuva Shield Lancer has a Marelok that fires rockets? Yeah, just give us that. Or just give it a real crit multiplier, that'd be pretty nice too.

Arm Cannon: Just strap an enlarged Gorgon barrel to our arm with metal bands, throw on a chunky drum mag, and saddle a rocket platform to our shoulder with ammo belts. Arm-mounted Maxim Gun with some heat-seeking shoulder-mounted rockets, I'm still shocked this isn't a thing yet!

Wrist Secondary: Tell me you haven't wanted to strap a rocket to your wrist and fire it off, I know you can't.

Twin Gremlin: Think Prisma Twin Gremlin, but with an alternate fire that over-pressures the chamber and shoots out a shotgun-spread of a fractured nail. Simple, right?

Argonak: Make the fire modes toggle-able, and make it feel like the Gorgon's older cousin with a nice big drum mag. I really wanna use this thing, without feeling like I'm barely contributing to the mission...

Twin Viper: This one is another that's more deserving of an Incarnon, but a better ammo-economy and some hefty mags would be very-much appreciated!

Javlok: This is the only speargun (aside from Styanax's, but that will get a Prime eventually) that hasn't gotten a variant upgrade yet, just needs bigger range and more damage. Boom, every speargun has a variant (Again, minus Styanx's until his Prime comes around)!

That's about it, lemme know what you think/what ideas you have!

For starters twin Rogga is already a kuva weapon used by the kuva guardians. Asking for a kuva variant would be like asking for a prime variant of the Paracesis(which is already of orokin tech and original). So I don’t see them making some superior kuva variant of a weapon that was already built using kuva related technology.

Twin Hek is already a thing, kind of. One of the grineer enemies wields 2 of them. But as dual shotguns go, the power would be a bit too much. I could see a heavy arsenal frame capable of wielding dual primaries. The grakata is like a sub machine gun so seeing dual version isn’t that surprising to me. Shotguns have a lot of power behind them and the grineer that wields 2 is a very chunky type of enemy. So I can’t say that DE would make a twin version of any shotgun for Tenno to use. Otherwise they would have done it already after that grineer with dual heks.

Honeslty for the arm cannon, I pictured us ripping off the arm of Ruk and having a giant, long range flame thrower. That or maybe the grineer tried to build their own version of a Necramech that is piloted and after damaging them, we get the little arm cannon it came with. Maybe the “Father” even feels insulted by their design and ends up building a “perfected” version of a grineer and corpus styled necramech.

Me personally, I feel the assassins needs the biggest upgrade. They’ve gotten boring and annoying more than anything. With kuva technology being so popular, what if they finally upgraded the Grustrag 3 with kuva weapons and possibly added a fourth member, calling them the Kuva Grustrag 4. They get summoned whenever you complete kuva missions for which the lotus warns how they are more dangerous than before. Maybe the fourth member is a lot like a Nox and wields a kuva variant of the sludge bomb weapon that we obtain after defeating them.

The other assassins like the syndicates should have a new level, or maybe at a certain master rank, where they send their own elite members at you instead of some random horde of eximus. They don’t do it often so people would still experience the eximus horde if they want/need. Maybe killing them counts as killing eximuses. And they drop a fourth syndicate weapon variant as a result that can be traded. For Zanuka Hunter there’s 2 options, infested Zanuka modeled after discovering the Warframes are infested, or sentient/amalgam Zanuka upgraded using sentient technology like the Amalgams. Maybe the infested version comes after you if you complete infested invasions while the sentient one appears after doing disruptions. The infested need their own legit assassin which is a whole new topic altogether.

Imagine if a lot of grineer bosses have been upgraded to Kuva level. Maybe as part of the Steel Path to encourage more people to play steel path, and along with them, new kuva weapons. Imagine Kril using the Kuva hammer. Just feels like there’s no much to do on the game and fighting bosses for Warframe parts you already have is boring. Least this method you’re rewarded something new that could also be tradable to those who don’t have the tolerance to endure steel path. DE changed how the open worlds look after the new war, so changing how some enemies look after a certain point or quest shouldn’t be that complicated. Tying it to MR would encourage more players to level up and gives them somewhat control over whether or not they feel like dealing with it.

I wouldn’t object to new variants of weapons. Just be nice if we got more than just weapons. For kuva they should make new kuva melees. The Perrin Sequence leader has 5 tenet melees. Maybe the Steel Meridian could give us 5 new kuva weapons.

    But that’s just my opinion.
