    You also weren't offered a better Excal. At launch Primes were skins. Increased performance for Primes came later. So barring psychic powers You weren't paying for that.     And Umbra isn't any better than Prime. While the death orb energy passive is situationally useful, so is howl (Sentients are in about 0.00001% of the game), and Specter mode is a hindrance in any high level content where his stupid AI gets him shot to hell.

    You wanted a unique aesthetic variant. You paid for it. You got it. You still have it. And from what the devs have said, you'll probably be able to paste it onto Umbra if you have some inexplicable desire to see your frame get itself killed mid-mission. So even if you believe Umbra is better, you'll likely be able to use that exclusive aesthetic you paid for on it.

    You need to stop pretending you speak for DE. None of those came from them. 

    Secondly just taking excal prime and making a different and slightly better version for free is not fair for those who paid for excal prime.

  2. So, it's no surprise ember is not the best right now. Some of you will disagree but it's the bitter truth.

    Long ago DE said ember was a dps frame, so let's make her one. 

    To begin with remove fireblast. Small aoe skills have no place in this game. Replace it with accelerant and move everything over.

    Fireball charge time reduced by 1.5 seconds. Range and damage increased by 1.5x.

    Give her a heat meter. The hotter ember gets the more damage she does. The more abilities she uses the hotter she gets. At max heat her range is increased by 1.5 x and damage is increased by 3x.  It has 3 stages. Stage 1, stage 2, stage 3. It decays after 3 seconds.

    Reduce her world on fire energy drain by 1 energy.

    Her new passive. When an enemy is on fire, he will explode in flames when shot doing 2% of their total max hp for 10 seconds. You cannot refresh this until it is done. 

    Her new ultimate will be charged burst.  Ember enters a super hot state and starts shooting flames from her hands. These flames do 4000 damage and a dot of 2.5 % of max hp over 10 seconds. Energy drain of 2.5 at base.

    In this state fireball gets 1.5x damage increase and looks enhanced.

    When at level 3  heat enemies start to burst from the heat setting a chain reaction off. The chain reaction gets stronger the longer it goes on.

    That is my idea to fix this warframe. I think it's perfect honestly. Although numbers might need to be adjusted for balance.

    I won't stay quiet, but I'm on the other side of the argument, because I don't want to keep reading "unvault excal prime" threads over and over again.

    My question is why make the frame that saved your game the worse version? Why make their frame the weaker one?  Just respect their purchase.

Umbra is just a way for everyone to be able to use a better Excalibur since that hasn’t been the case since this game’s release in 2013; now everyone can shut up about Excalibur Prime, founders can be at ease, everyone’s happy. I don’t mean to come across as rude or hostile. I’m just sort of annoyed to see that founders, of all people, would now be the ones with issues with either prime and/or umbra. Just had to let this out.

    Now your idea is interesting but I think a 50% innate buff is a bit much. Since Excalibur already has a 10% buff in speed and damage to certain swords, prime can have 15% buff to the weapons you mentioned while umbra gets a 15% buff to the others. 

    Why would founders be at ease when they essentially made a better prime? Why would I have paid good money if they were going to release a better version for free?

    Umbra should be an upgrade not a separate warframe.

  6. I see so many people with the misconception that their idea of fun is the only way one can play warframe.

    It's kinda sad to see people agreeing with subjective ideas as facts.

    There are many different ways to enjoy warframe. Some enjoy fashion frame, others like the rewards and like collect loot, some have a power fantasy. The point is, you can't be telling people how they should be playing.

    Playing just for mindless fun isn't everyone's cup of tea. Some people need rewards or an incentive and nothing is wrong with that. Some of you need to cut it out.

    Second point was changed for balance purposes to correspond to how easily spammed it was before, which is another cornerstone to why it was a problem. The current cost is scalable to the usage, costing less for limited uses but more when at maximum while invisible and deciding to join in.

    Fourth was entirely opinion. Annoyance is not a universal truth applicable to everyone just because it is applicable to you, it is a personal thing in its very nature. What one finds as annoying is entirely unique to them.

    Fifth is reliant on every one of your attacks with the original being counted, regardless if they were useful or not. In a large mass of enemies yes its total damage from the skill itself alone could be higher, but with the skill now, you can multitask and make up for that damage. In a small group you were locked in the animation regardless if your damage was actually usefully applying to a target, reducing your total damage contribution to the team because you are wasting time in a slideshow instead of running to the next room to kill things. Now you can trigger the attack while marking as you are shooting, killing any enemy that wasn't killed in the sweep while you move along to the next area. Over all, its very subjective to the distinct combat scenarios and conditions in them on if they are comparable. Both have times when they would have made for better damage overall for the team.

    So you had two points that were true but didn't matter since they were the root of why it was changed to begin with, and wouldn't really fit for arguing for the skill to return to its original form, one fact, one opinion, and one arguable under specific combat situations. So people can disagree with most of them just fine.

    I'll give you the fourth option ( though objectively speaking 1 button to activate vs now). But 4 others you agreed were true. How you going to say you can disagree with half??

    Ahh, so it's other people that's the problem and not the ability. Stop playing PUBS and the rest of us will enjoy a much better nova. No one wants to be punished because of your personal problems.

    I was wrong about the energy numbers, but dont get ahead of yourself. I know enough about warframe and have been playing for 5 years. 

    75 used to be a common 3rd ability number.

    You haven't refuted my argument at all. It's like you just say random things without putting any context to them. lmao.

    A) Your scenario is you are low health and you need to use it to get behind cover. How will you do that with it's terrible range? And B) You have to be in a situation where things got dicey. So the enemies have to be able to damage you past your 2 and your healing from your passive. So, how exactly are you going to survive the moment you step out of your 3?

    Just wow.

    With the amount of damage people can do, shrug. Nyx does nothing but create minions and by using Arcane Guardian + Grace she will have plenty of survivability and self heals, but people still use her Absorb + Augment for a reason.

    Regardless, it's really far too early to be questioning things like ''does he need an escape''. We'll know when we play him.

    When it heals you as well? You're suggesting the ability is bad because the moment it's deactivated your full health frame will instantly die...

    If enemies are dealing that much damage then you're playing content you shouldn't be in, and that's rather irrelevant to the conversation. You should know better.

    First off all you need to actually hit the target that is shooting you to heal, you don't just heal for no reason. So, if you are being shot from a distance, because of this skills abysmal range you will die when you step out of it.

    Second, if you are doing lower level content why would you need it? You have a damage soaking ability and the passive ability to ability regen.

    Easy to see how bad it is if you really think.

    I must have missed the part where he gives energy. I haven't seen that anywhere. Sorry health + shields regen is useless when he has a passive that heals him and another ability that gives him a shield. 

  14. So many warframes are plagued with abilities that just don't do anything. Those skills are not fun and they don't do anything. Please don't ship him to have one of those skills.

    His 3 needs to go DE. I've come up with some alternatives that make him closer to the eidolon theme and still keep him relevant.

    1. Eidolon Frame releases a bolt of lightning that shocks everyone in your control and instantly reduces them to a crisp. 1 shot might be op but you get the deal, change the damage on it if needed.

    2 My personal favourite suggestion. Eidolon Frame has three Eidolon Vomvalysts that fire lasers that stun enemies. One increases your teams crit damage and crit chance, another one could provide heals to the team, and a third would fire enhanced lasers of some sort.

    3. On the topic of more lasers, Eidolon Frame fires a laser beam at a single target, this target explodes blinding everyone around him and does 4 % of their max hp for 10 seconds.

    I'm sure anyone reading this has a brilliant idea now that would give Eidolon Frame something more interesting than a wukong dash that brings nothing to the table. Please DE.
