  1. Current situation:

We have to farm requiem relics, to farm requiem mods, to farm the larva, to farm thralls, to farm the lich. All this should take at least a few hours for a single lich to get a single weapon.

    Problem:

Relics and mods are tradable, so if RNG screws you, you can always resort to trading, which is good.

Lich weapons are not tradeable. So once u kill the larva, you find yourself stuck with a lich that is highly likely to have a weapon you dont want. There is no way to get rid of the lich, except spending hours to farm his thralls and spending your hard earned mods, only to get a weapon you dont want and cant do anything with it. What happens once you have say half the weapons? Half your time will be getting those same weapons! Imagine the horror if one ever manages to get 12/13 weapons or if a new kuva weapon is ever released!

    Proposed solution 1:

What if, once we meet our kuva lich for the first time, a new option unlocked on the lich personal page allowing us to bribe him to go away? He would take the resources he stole from us, plus the bribe and simply leave. This could have an increasing price till it eventually resets daily or weekly.

This way we could hunt down untill the end only those that we are interested in, making the whole proccess a lot more exciting, but still RNG dependent.

    Proposed solution 2:

Another possible concomitant solution is to make converting more interesting. Currently there is no reason to convert a lich after you have done it once.

For example, the lich would feel grateful for us sparing his life and could give us random rewards like kuva, chance for requiem mods and whispers and such. So even if we dont want to pay the bribe, we could still hunt down the lich and actually get something in the end.

What everyone thinks? Do you have other possible solutions?

P.S.: this was originally posted on feedback, but now posting here as it seems more appropriate as dully noted by a noble gentleman over there

  4. Old player here and new melee feels great, maybe even stronger than before. A lot more diversity on viable builds too.

Lichs however still need some adjustments. My biggest issue is the fact that u simply have to hunt down the random dude that appears, even if it has, say a 10th seer u definitely have no interest on, forcing u to waste lots of time and resources on something u already know u dont care about. If we could for example pay a bribe to let him go once a day or with an increasing price, than the system would be great

  5. Came here just to say melee feels great. Overall the changes were great. Usually the 5% of the ppl that didnt like the changes cause they have to adapt, come here to complain and the 95% that enjoyed dont come here at all, so it might give a wrong impression.

The range balance feels great for example. Now weapons with small range can be useful again and thats a LOT of weapons, while those with good range are still great

The new combo multiplier feels great too. At first it might seem like a nerf to blood rush and stuff, but b4  we used to get stuck at 2.5x 3x for hundreds of hits and now u can go past 12x which feels a lot more exciting.

The list goes on on. All great stuff, well thought, feels great once u get used and stuff

  6. So at first I felt there was way too much grind involved and too little challenge with kuva lich hunting, but later I realized I might have felt that way because I started by farming all relics and them all possible runes. Once I started actually farming the liches, it felt bareable I guess.

However, after a few hunts, my main concern has become the fact that right at the start of a hunt u know the weapon u will get and if this weapon is something u deffinetely dont want, then the whole process feels like a big chore just to get rid of the lich so u can farm next.

My suggestion: have some way to get rid of the lich earlier. Lets say for example after your first encounter with the lich, in the lich panel would open up an option to bribe it for 1m credits of 5k kuva for example and he would leave taking the bribe and what he stole so we could start farming another that might interest us. Maybe put a limit on how many times we can do this daily, say 1-5 times, so softcores wont have to grind through everything just get some trash he aint interested, while hardcores will have the option to keep trying, but will have to go through the whole process.

Secondly, based on what everyone is saying, converting feels like a big let down. Havent tried tbh, but since u can only have 1, it barely spawns and barely does anything....maybe it could be improved, like if u convert it would have a chance for him to give small rewards like relics, kuva etc, so it would still be an option if u dont want the weapon

  7. So I killed my first lich. Equipped its weapon. And as I was fighting the second lich...the first came to aid!? I thought they would come back only if we didnt vanquish them, so it seems like a bug. No complaining though

Another more relevant bug: if u are on a multiplayer mission and someone kills their lich, thralls stop spawning for everyone. This is really annoying and forces ppl to play solo which aint as much fun

This system is meant to be challenging. It’s meant to be a threat. It’s meant to posit a vengeful and immortal enemy against you until you can decipher how to defeat them. It will demand your best gear and game knowledge!

    Challenging? Nopety nope.

Endless grind like there is no tomorrow? Yeap

  9. So I got 2 mow them down NW quests and they both keep resetting whenever I swap to operator. Not sure if it has anything to do with the fact i got 2 of the same quest.

Also when I kill with amp it starts counting from 0 and them resets again when I swap back to warframe.

  10. I go to communication -> Inbox -> delete all read messages -> yes.

I get the message "You have no messages in your inbox". I hit the close or esc button.

I go back to inbox: BOOM! all messages are back there.

And here is some context: I left k-board and soon after pressed "X' in one of those 4 guys u need to find in a bounty. Probably because of lag or something, it moved the camera back to the k-drive, which I could ride freely, but warframe stayed there draining the soul of that poor fella. Couldnt fix it till some guyes showed up and killed my body back there.

  12. Equipped ephemera in 1 loadout, now it shows on all the others. Also cant change its colour, its always white which was the color of my energy at first.

First Vox bounty, doesnt show the option to investigate (there was a nora broadcast right after I killled 6, not sure if related):
Tried reseting on water and stuff, nothing. Had to abandon mission

During PT fight, was with Archgun equipped but when I tried to unequip it, got the message saying it was on cooldown, so I couldnt equip it or rather unequip it (missed the ss for this one).

During War Within quest to defend the target this guy kept spawning locked in here:

The animation showing me running stayed while on Dragyn:

Last, but not least. Endless loading screen. This one is happening way too often when u alt+tab during loading after recent patches. Always alt+tabbed b4, but never had this issue, since nightwave or something:

It just stays like that forever, until u close the app 30min later
