  1. ->All problems have been solved ->Here's this problem that hasn't been solved with some hyperbole mixed as an attempt to discredit it I didn't know 1=0. Although, that wasn't the only problem some people actually had with it. Different people had different issues, and I didn't agree with them all, but they were still issues people had regardless. Refer to the last part of my initial post.
  2. It really depends on content and Warframe. Primaries I've used the last year: K-Karak, Tigris-P, Rubico-P, Daikyu, Mutalist Cernos, Cedo, Supra-V, and Battacor. Seconaries I don't really use many to the point Sunpoint Plasma Drill shows on my in-game profile. I only started using them as 'stat sticks' lately, but sometimes will actually use Euphona-P, and tried Fusilai. Melee: Nikana-P, Silva/A-P, Twin Krohkur, Okina, Redeemer-P, Karyst-P until the a-speed nerf made it unusable for me without buffs and Praedos as a 'stat stick' as I don't actually like Tonfas but when not using melee it at least does something useful. Archgun: Imp-V, Mausolon, and sometimes Morgha.
  3. Some of the complaints surrounding the system hasn't been solved, and DE has more or less said it never would be. There's also the issue that they have a tendency of merging threads, which sometimes later gets deleted, that are criticizing the same thing but for completely different reasons and are seeking completely different outcomes. At times discussing contents in a patch but completely different 'content' has resulted in mass merges. Which just results in a thread containing different topics that have nothing to do with each other, and this may as well be the same as deleting the initial threads. If you personally don't care about an issue, that's great, but everyone has different view points, are bothered by different things and play the game in varying ways that expose them to different problems and even bugs.
  4. Their lack of direct damage is why I don't see why we can't just get companions that can't be targeted and ensure each type has their own useful utility that supports different playstyles/weapon uses. There isn't anything wrong with them being used for basic things like radar and loot pickup, as it means the few who are against having that on by default have the option to not equip the mods. It's only a problem currently because without using specific options that make them unkillable or specific playstyles that make them never targetable in the first place they die instantly and then you lose said basic feature or are stuck wasting time repeatedly picking one up. The way they function also encourage playing in a manner DE claims to be against, as playing the afk in a corner deleting everything they're never going down to begin with. Where as actually moving means your Sentinel randomly dies or the other options are suddenly across the map dying because DE wouldn't even give them a tighter leash.
  5. Where did he say that? The no universal vacuum isn't Duviri specific, it's something people have been asking to be changed for ages. During a recent stream [~39:30] they said things we normally mod our companions for would be enabled by default in Duviri, such as vacuum and radar, while survivability would be increased through Intrinsics. Having a companion with the mod doesn't prevent loot from falling through the ground anyways.
  6. Bullet sponge, or sandbag, is just a term for an enemy with unreasonably high health. It has nothing to do with difficulty. The existence of long fights in other games are irrelevant and you're omitting important context. A lot of them have similar health to standard end-game bosses but get dragged on by the fact you're dealing with either multiple enemies or a series of mechanics that have to be dealt with or you'll fail. To equate archon fights to any of that is beyond silly. The archon fights are just cheat DE's mitigation mechanic or be punished with a drawn out extremely dull boss. The fights have no legitimate mechanic, you're just slapping the enemy around without caring about anything. There's no side objective or anything else you are required to focus on. If DE doesn't want people instantly killing these standard enemies cosplaying as bosses, I would prefer phases with alternate objectives between them, you know, making it so having their health reaching 0 isn't the only goal.
  7. That's how it was before, they changed it so each variant had their own and they later changed it so new variants started at minimum which is why you see complaints over existing variants being stronger than some new variants that have extremely minor stat increases.
  8. Primary 006 and secondary 009, with blend at 0.47; although bugged skin color.
  9. Chasing after trends is fairly normal, the issue with the way it is on Warframe is that some of the new stuff DE implements isn't usable in the 'main' game. Warframe at this point may as well be multiple different smaller games attached to the bigger game called Warframe. Archwing, Railjack, Necramechs and now the Drifter combat all play differently to 'Warframe' and the progress made in these types of content don't transition. It's where the 'content island' complaints come from, and Duviri is unfortunately more of that.
  10. The game or event being 'free' isn't a valid reason for lack luster rewards or has anything to do with being lazy. There are games that require a purchase with events that are just as unrewarding or worse. Look at New World for an example of a game that requires a purchase but contains events that have subpar rewards. Then you have some games with insanely greedy battle pass like systems, such as LoL where they make you pay for the privilege to no life the game if you want both primary rewards throughout their copy/pasted events. The reality of it is most games now a days do not have very rewarding events regardless of whether it's 'free' or not. This is one aspect of games that in my opinion has actually gotten worse with time.
  11. Although, the OP isn't asking for in increase in frequency to Legendary Cores in general. They are asking to have one added to the reward for reaching MR30 specifically. Unless you bypassed the bypassable grinds through plat purchases, unauthorized RMT, or market manipulation your need for endo/credits by the time you're at MR30 goes down. Endo is an indirectly tradeable resource through multiple items that can either be traded into or broken down into Endo. If you're going to talk about casuals, you should realize some of the expensive mods in the game aren't even going to be leveled by them and they're the ones gravitating towards the same copy/paste playstyle. Many don't care about completing everything in the game [which is why MR requirements are low] and wont max all mods, some of them end up selling their excess endo for plat. If you make endo worthless, they all aren't going to benefit from it. This just leaves Credits as the only issue, but it would make more sense to just increase gains at later stages in order to make it so the dedicated farms don't feel as necessary. Or they could just add it into the Nightwave shop for those that don't care about Kuva and still need Credits once the other stuff no longer matter.
  12. You're way off topic. Did you read the title and assumed a narrative around the limited information? Not sure why so many people even use forums but seem to never actually read the posts beyond the title or first sentence. Maybe this is why multiple alternatives have such short character limits. They are talking about reworking the visual effects for them as they only find one of them to be of sufficient quality. Oddly though, their favorite is my least favorite due to how obnoxious it looks in the brightness department with most colors.
  13. You should have directed that at the op, as they said everyone would like something, where as the person you chose to say it to only said we. They're not saying Duviri has more risk, they're suggesting pvp-invasions to steal rewards as a 'risk reward' system. By now 'we' should know there isn't going to be any meaningful risk, especially not when the content in question has already been stated to be an alternate starting area for someone completely new.
  14. For some reason people don't ever want to look at games as a product. Then we have the issue of us being labeled as "consumers" rather than "customers". We're expected to consume what ever is given by the creators rather than customers that have paid for a product or service. Add on the issue with "free to play", and then you have people who act like anyone working on a service that is "free" is doing it out of charity despite the fact that isn't true and they are being paid. Compromises are inevitable when a studio wants money from a lot of people. If they didn't want that, they could deal with their game only being played by a small number of people and not having a massive studio, as many developers already do.
  15. Forma system is monetized, the limited slots are also monetized. However, two slots end up costing nearly as much as a single forma when you buy the 3x forma bundle. If you care about saving, you may as well go with the slots and your problem is solved as even suggesting a partial forma refund still wouldn't be as good as just buying the slots to begin with. Also, Forma is one of those things where you eventually earn more than you'll even actually use without buying any of them; which is probably why they started adding more weapons that take five of them for max mastery experience. I don't go out of my way to get the 1x craft a day, and I still have an excess of them. This is without farming them during the event and I wasted a few on multiple not so great weapons such as the Fusilai with four Forma wasted on that; or the 5x+ on a non-prime and repeating it for the primed variant. Regarding dismantling, majority of games do not refund their equivalent to Forma. Generally you just get a small amount of resources actually used on crafting while resources spent on enhancing it is just gone for good.
  16. Could be worse... such as going through a wall, then /unstucking and it keeping you in the same place. Then there's cases such as Kela De Thaym fight you can spawn partly in the elevator, then /unstuck and it cause you to be completely inside it.
  17. There should be one Veiled Riven with the result of completing the challenge being based on what it was equipped to upon completion. There's already so many layers of 'randomness' involved with Rivens that at least removing the first layer would be a start.
  18. Humor is subjective. What ever you may like, others may not like. It isn't possible to please everyone, and it is unreasonable for anyone to expect they be the one to be pleased at the expense of most others. I personally do not care for, nor am interested in, 'sexual jokes' but a lot of people are. However, I go with the option of just disregarding them because I am aware the world doesn't revolve around me, and things I do not care for are going to be said and done. I wouldn't say complaining about a non-issue while demanding others behave in their pre-approved manner is "mature". The "mature" thing to do is to realize other people are different and to accept that fact and move on. Complaining only makes sense in instances where the individual is actually being targeted or singled out [harassed]. The OP even acts as if they are superior based on age. Sexualized media was a thing even for their period, just in todays world we get to interact with it, rather than strictly consuming it through tv/radio/paper; and complaining about it today is extremely convenient compared to back then. Although, what do I know, apparently I'm just a "kid" based on being irrelevantly younger than the OP, and we all know the "adults" are never wrong.
  19. Given DE nerfed other things regarding shield gate, I don't even see how this hasn't been changed at all. Rakta Dark Dagger required you give up your melee slot while lowering your dps drastically when using it, and then you had to be in melee range hitting an enemy to even benefit from it, and that got nerfed to no longer benefit you if your shields dropped. The key does not come with any tradeoff or risk and it functioning as is contradicts DE's previous 'balancing' attempts. If DE wants to go with yet another lazy fix, just make it so it acts like a no shield mode. Shield gate in general was poorly thought out and was clearly rushed. It took them a while fix Hildryn being able to just equip Energy Siphon and being able to afk without ever dying unless an enemy dealt toxin damage to her. Shield gate didn't do anything to make shields better, as they're still inherently made of paper which is why people go out of their way to have less of it, as the damage immunity matters more. Shield gate doesn't prevent all one shots either, which was the purpose of shield gate to begin with.
  20. Crossplay isn't a feature of trendiness; not everyone on pc has people that play games exclusively on pc. Some people I know play games on console, so until crossplay is a standard we don't get to play games together. The issues with Warframe isn't crossplay itself, but having no way of ensuring who ever the host is happens to be an optimal one. I've had terrible hosts before crossplay was even a thing, and even after crossplay I have mostly experienced host migrations from PC hosts. Yeah, there definitely aren't anyone on PC that falls under this category.
  21. There is a difference between required and preferred. "Explosive" weapons aren't required for anything. Explosive weapons are also meant to have a drawback and PSF bypassing the drawback is likely one of DE's oversights initially; it was even said they considered changing this... You could just use 3 mods or play specific Warframes like people had to before in order to not be instantly killed by their own shots.
  22. You are meant to position yourself to hit multiple targets with Pillage+Haven, not mindlessly cast the ability and then blame Hildryn for being inferior. On this account, she is my most used Warframe; I have used her across multiple level ranges throughout multiple Infested content. Shield generation is only a problem earlier on, which is also when the Infested aren't even of a concern. She would have the same problem in situations with very low amounts of enemies; especially if hit at all. Neither of you two seem to actually play Hildryn a whole lot in comparison to how much I have. Her forced synergy on first and fourth abilities are more problematic than requiring properly positioning to make use of her augment against one faction. I never said she shouldn't, or should, have a base value to shield generation per target. All I did was point out misinformation and disagree with your reasoning on why you claim she 'needs' this. Saying Hildryn and Mag are shield restoration Warframes is an extreme oversimplification. They are two Warframes that play differently and support different playstyles. They even have different means of utilizing abilities with their own pros and cons. Mag is tied to energy and all the drawbacks that it comes with in various content. Misinformation and criticizing design choices aren't the same thing. If your shield dropped to zero due to massive amounts of damage, then the suggestion of granting Pillage the augment effect as a base function doesn't solve your issue of not having an active Pillage when your shields dropped to zero. These situations would ideally be noticeably less common against Infested anyways... It is other factions that have ranged attacks that are able to 100-0 her shields without sitting in an endless mission; although this more so is a problem of her being a shield based Warframe that was given no %DR as part of her base kit, resulting in her shields being of low value against burst or very high dps... which again, your suggestion does absolutely nothing at all to solve this. There's multiple methods of generating her shields back to full without utilizing abilities or transference if you are truly that desperate for additional emergency shield generation. You don't have to use the same 'equipment' for all Warframes, maybe switch things around and you might figure something out, or not, I'm just some random person.
  23. The augment generates shields in addition to the damage... the augment solves the problem for Hildryn against Infested in higher level missions; it's just subpar in low level content due to the low enemy count. If we're going to mention her surviving, I find the fact some enemies can straight up delete her entire shield instantly [without doing endless] to be far more problematic than being forced into using an augment against Infested. Shields are made of paper and she only survives because she has a spammable and delayed method of fully recovering to max overshield and even then, is reliant on having multiple enemies around her. She is not the only Warframe where base survivability is impacted by enemy either, nor is she the only Warframe where an augment feels mandatory.
  24. Yeah, I also wish we could have additional options for customizing; although I'm not that good with faces in general. Still waiting for hair accessory energy color to be changeable too.
  25. Cross-Save comes after Cross-Play is actually completed. You not finding information on the matter is because there is none. You just have to wait who knows how much longer, and you can mostly thank Sony for being the most anti-anything not them in recent years.
