  1. If they made a previous founder weapon viable they should do for the melee as well. This has been posted before and the majority who weren't even founders didn't care and actually agreed they should make it useful to founders and not just fodder considering the state of the game now to how it was back then. But its DE's game and if they do it then they do,  what are you going to stop playing because they buff a weapon you don't have when you have many others to choose from?

  2. i'd suggest radial javelin turns into a energy wave instead of javelins. Knocks enemies down when it is cast and for every enemy hit by the blast proc he gets a percentage of armor. Affected by strength, duration, mods etc...

  3. I hope they don't use the nerf to EB energy waves as an excuse to create a mod that restores them to previous as a trade off. 

    They need to make EB combos give bonus damage like normal stances do. Make some combos create waves every slash.  Restore the energy waves how they previously were at cost of channeling. Give him more defensive options and before someone say "he has radial blind", you shouldn't have to sacrifice energy to get in close to enemy if that is direction they are trying to push the frame into. He should be able to get close without radial blind, as i see radial blind as crowd control not a means to get in to do what they are forcing us to do. Also get rid of mini slide blind, while it was ok, i don't think it was so important that now is should cost energy replace it with a slide attack that emits a radial energy wave similar to ground slam with EB active.

    While your at it and in the mood to "make his kit less overshadowed by EB" how about doing something worthwhile to Radial Javelin. Give it a bleed effect for enemies impaled or make the skanas explode after so many seconds if they are still alive. Or just get rid of the whole skana's impale enemies and make it create a radial shock wave since were sticking with the ethreal skana theme when concerning his abilities. 

  4. Exal's mini blind costing energy now... so wait i don't have the choice to expend additional energy should i choose to slide while i'm using EB? You guys are forcing me to be in closer melee range now with this recent range decrease on EB so now i need to close distance faster to be more effective, if i choose to slide then your going to hit my energy? Please reconsider this as this invokes an involuntary use of energy that limits me from sliding while using EB. It now will cost me energy and is not as effective as standard radial blind in functionality and usage. I can't perform finishers or do finisher damage, range and duration is extremely limited. It seems this change was not fully thought out and saying you wanted to keep his other ability from being overshadowed but didn't mention any useful changes to radial javelin.

  5. Its not as good requiring you to get in close...which means you'll die alot as Excal doesn't have armor or defense to be in melee range like other melee centric frames. Also the slide attack with EB active will cost you energy so closing the distance to get in close will cost you, which DE is forcing you to do if you want to be effective with EB.. DE didn't really think this through.

  7. Just some of my thoughts

    Ember's passive would not be functional for majority of the content, why not make it were enemies that suffer a fire proc from ember either increase her power strength and regenerate energy?

    Loki's passive i don't know many that really use wall latch furthermore would use it to just hang on a wall for the entire increased duration.  I think if your sticking with a theme here then loki's passive could perhaps be something along the lines of stealth, like give him banshee's passive

    I think Oberon's should be able to be applied to more than just a few situations to avoid a 75% useless passive. Perhaps Oberon increases the health of all allies on team and it increase by the number of team members.

    Mags passive is kinda redundant if using a certain sentinel. Should make Mag's passive have a 25-30% chance to stop bullets/projectiles fired at her.

    Nova knocking down enemies, i'm not sure about this one will this continue to occur the entire time she's down or just when she initially falls? If the later then she could use something that works constantly, like enemies within x amount of feet from Nova are slowed down by x percent and attacking her will cause a blast proc

    Hydroids passive would be useful if it was on all melee attacks and just reduce the % chance i suppose

    Limbos could be he drains health from enemies that are present with him in the rift 

    Nyx passive i'd think enemies kill by Nyx have a chance to emit a radiation proc to nearby enemies that will cause them to attack each other or drop their weapons.

     

    On Mesa's Peacemaker ability why not add the ability to walk which if you do will increase energy drain without trying to turn this which should be a base power ability into an augment? Of course if you do the energy drain on peacemaker would need to be adjusted.

    I like both of these ideas, people saying remove the energy waves and increase the dmg, what will you do about survival in higher tower missions? Reason for waves now is because him being in melee range now will get him killed quick. He does not have a ton of armor or invulnerability like valk to constantly be in melee. Think of this before suggesting such augments that could potentially be useless without considering why he isn't a full scale melee frame.

  9. he's not even worth that much oppose to just using normal Loki only an increase of 25 to his base power. But people gotta have it i guess me personally i'd never pay that much for anything that is or was farmable in the game.

  10. Questions for Kary the weaponsmith or anyone that can answer.

    Will the entire arsenal get another pass in terms of tweaks? I know you guys are busy but is there any in the plans for a weapon rebalance on out of date weapons that no one uses anymore or are you guys ok tenno just leveling all these weapons and tossing them never to be used again? You have some awesome designs but none of them are viable with the state of the game today especially for veteran players. The direction you guys seem to be going with recently release weapons and such are on a higher scale as it wouldn't make sense to release something that isn't an upgrade to what one is using but what about everything else? Even if its things like increasing the channeling dmg on some weapons, giving some more status chance, crit chance/dmg, etc...

  11. I hope since the skana is pretty much the iconic weapon of warframe when they release Umbra that his weapon is a new version of this weapon. Dragon Skana or something similar with some much improved stats. Seems like alot of the new weapons release have something going for them which each release and it seems DE doesn't have any intentions of making adjustments to old melee weapons would rather just make new ones, which by all means is fine but some of the old designs are really cool. Should every old weapon be improved no, but there are far too many that do nothing special other than increase base damage by some minuscule amount compare to previous with same status chance 10%, channeling damage 1.5, etc...

    A good co-op game allow all players to have a role in the game, not 1 player doing all the job while other 3 jerking off each other to avoid depression from boredom.

    Ash's design by DE was a stealth solo frame and his abilities complement that to a degree. Of course if your need of self gratification comes in the form of having a comparative kill score to someone else you are playing with and this affects your enjoyment of a game then that seems like a personal problem and your losing focus on the reason your playing the game to have fun. You do have a degree of control and co-op its probably better to not do with with randoms or if your that worried about having more kills than people on your team an easy fix for that is kill them all yourself...in solo. I play many frames and wouldn't say i "main" Ash so im not trying to keep my frame from being scrutinized. Simply stating complaining about a game that most would consider a co-op experience when your main objective is to eliminate the enemies as fast as possible is silly. And before someone yells balance, i believe blade storm itself is balanced to a particular playstyle as the developers initially designed.

  13. Every time you make a suggestion for Radial Javelin, keep in mind it is the strongest map clearing AoE nuke in the game currently. You can't just buff it without considering RJ build.

     

    for low levels and draco yes, but Radial javelin as a whole and end game ability is lacking in damage and utility. Later enemies you hit really don't take much damage from this and are still standing. Maybe added impact to it?

    lvl 40 corupted heavy is when it stop being any usefull

     

    old weapons need some buff.. especially really old weapons

     

    Twin bazlock cn be considered as a new weapon

     

    Sad, i want to use skana's too they really need to buff as they are suppose to be iconic 

  15. Agreed i have long said Radial Javelin needs something. Either allow the javelins that don't kill enemies to explode after x seconds for knockdown, applying a bleeding proc, or just turn it into a large aoe shockwave instead of javelins that knockdown and make affected enemies take more damage from his other abilities and melee attacks only. I doubt they would make this ability scale with melee mods

  16. I think its kinda selfish, you love the grind others might not was much and just because you "hate" seeing it, it doesn't necessarily affect your gaming experience. What do you do to players who brought the prime access pack and obtain the frame and weapons without having their original counterparts?  What if these are veterans that just didn't bother to up their mastery rank? Alot of variables to consider without assuming just because their mastery rank is low they maybe new players.

  17. Another nerf thread.....i find it offensive when one is trying to dictate how others should play this game. Simply if these frames bother you so much or seems to take away some of your personal challenge then by all means do not play with players that use these frames or play solo. This seems to be all these forums are consisting of is just more and more complaining, whinning, and nerfing.

  18. If you want to restrict the energy waves to an augment or last hit of combo, how will they counter Excals survivability? As this would promote more up close combat and he doesn't have the stats to stand toe to toe in higher difficult mission like a Valk, Chroma, or Rhino. How will they counteract this if you are suggestion they remove the waves from every attack? I still don't understand people's way of thinking. So because you can't impose your on restrictions to using a skill that you seem to dislike but still play the character and use said skill, you want DE to help you not choose to use such skill by removing the mechanics? "Please i don't like i have to press EEEEEEEE, please take it away so i'm not tempted to do it so much" lol hilarious.
