The metallics have been bugged since that metallic lighting update years ago. the umbra operator accessories are also affected with the same problem.
to me, it almost looks like the vertex normals were messed up in the model, leading to light not bouncing off properly. ofc i dont know for a fact that this is the problem, it could just be the textures.
another bug with the suit is that the apparel doesn't deform with animations, leading to the operator's leg clipping very badly with the big metal hoop thing.
