Phew, barely made it in time! That was worth it though, I'm particularly proud of this one. Hopefully I managed to one-up my last year's entry 😄

[The Sacrifice: Update 23]

I was excited when I saw the new Orokin puzzle mechanics, I thought this will now be a thing with new Orokin content. I was really excited when I saw Umbra fighting on his own when transferring outside, I thought now all our warframes would "wake up" and be able to do this. And oh how I was disappointed when I realized that none of those things were introduced in the game itself.

Don't get me wrong, the quest was epic, maybe even the best one so far IMO, and seeing the Lotus back as a Sentient really hit the feels. But ending on an even bigger cliffhanger than we started from and realizing that the continuation is likely at least several months (likely more than half a year) away is kind of sad, not to mention the basically throwaway new mechanics that would be so cool if they could be used in the actual game.

Who knows, maybe all I said here will be rendered irrelevant on TennoCon, but so far I don't really know how to think about all this. I love it, but also kind of sad at the same time.

P.S. Umbra's eye. Wow. That's something I won't be able to unsee, nor stop thinking about all my other warframes in that way.

I've listend to most of the songs.   Disappointed I havent see the following two things....

A track that ENDS with Lotus saying wake up (and not also littered all throughout)

A track that uses the quote from Lotus "Change of plans Tenno, Kill them all!!:

You really can piece together stories form all the quotes from the game(other stories not, THE story)  I would have fun just doing that lol.   

I also wanted a song that makes you feel like the Tenno is in a fight and LOSES and the song goes quite but then "insert whatever quote" is said and the Tenno gets back up and the song gets even more intense. 

OOoo how about a Heavy rock/metal/industrial track that uses "Wake up Tenno"  but you are not dreaming,  your lost in a blood frenzy and Lotus is trying to pull you back.....dope...  obviously a tribute to Valkyr and the more evil operators out there.  

That second to last one is literally what I did! And the last one is quite close also - I just finished my Eidolon-based epic metal song that I've been working on for 2 weeks, and will start mixing & mastering it tomorrow, and then hopefully have time to record & edit a video for it. I've got very high hopes for this one 😄

Also a question that I'm still waiting an answer for, I may even submit a ticket because no one here seems willing to answer it - am I or am I not allowed to upload the song to iTunes and other stores (as I usually do with all my releases), or does the song for this contest have to be as "free-download"?

A quick question to DE, before I start writing some epic metal - since using samples from the game is literally a requirement, am I still allowed to upload the song to iTunes & stuff, or will you guys be not okay with this? I don't want to run into any copyright issues 😄
