The Corinth Prime doesn't exist, in the same way that the Opticor Vandal doesn't exist.

Again, inverted comparison. Opticor Vandal is actually the better weapon now because in place of raw damage, it gave us increased reload, mag, CC, CD and fire rate. Thats several things for the price of one. While Corinth prime on the other hand after getting rid of its single pellet reload, only gave us increased raw damage of the alt-fire that STILL doesn't do much in endgame content as compared to the regular buckshot fire. (which again has unchanged stats from the vanilla version)

I've also been seeing plenty of folks argue that this gun doesn't NEED any further buffs towards being primed, saying that it would be considered "too much" or "redundant" in the spirit of keeping things balanced.........but is that REALLY a valid notion to have at this point in the game where explosive bows, beam sprayers and rapid-fire rocket launchers already exist with zero drawbacks?

Would a classic pump-action shotgun REALLY be that upsetting to this hierarchy of weapons we have and will continue to have?

I was never a fan of this particular weapon but I can't help but agree with the people that lament this change. It alters the character of the weapon quite a lot.

That said, I wonder if it would have killed them to put a negative-edge trigger on it? Negative edge is used in fighting games where a certain action only happens on the release of a button.

    To illustrate my point better:

Press-and-release quickly for the previous functionality. Detonates automatically after a set distance.

    -Or-

Press-and-hold for longer distance shots which are detonated when the button is released. If the button is held indefinitely, the shot explodes on impact or whatever.

You mean Duplex trigger type. Its already a thing with Tigris prime, but so far no other weapon has it.

  3. Yeah the animation doesn't look nearly as smooth now. The increased mag size as welll is actually a facade of a buff in compensating the slow reload, coz the alt-fire eats 4 ammo per shot which results in it still being a total of 5 like the original.

Overall I find this to be quite reminiscent to the Opticor vs Vandal thing we had ages back, but inverted. Regular Corinth having potentially faster DPS despite the niche alt-fire, while the Prime cranks up said alt-fire to bigger numbers but kills the QoL aspect for which the gun was originally praised. That aside, the buckshot's stats are literally the same and that doesn't leave much tangible incentive to switch to Prime.

At best, this prime is currently a side-grade rather than a full-on upgrade that most (if not all) primes are known to have been.

    P.S: Fellow Corinth main here:

Let me tell you something: one day you too will strike out on your own, and you'll no longer have pa and ma paying all the bills: you too will have to put your own food on the table, pay the rent, pay off your student loan, deal with health insurance. When that happens, you will no longer say stuff like this, I assure you.

    Username checks out.

Really though, why a VPN for just this game and why does it happen at all? Its been years now already 😕

I contacted my ISP and this is what he said

    'Dear Customer,

With reference to your email, this is to inform you that as per observation your link is up and connected with threshold power level. Further we would like to update you that Stormfiber [Name of the company] doesn't own this Warframe.com platform and the owner of this platform restrict you to download from their end so you can contact domain provider to resolve your issue'

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that you're from South Asia as well? 😛

Coz if so, then yeah this is typically something that happens every once in a while during the year with WF servers on our end. Just gotta wait it out is what I'd say, or as some folks tend to suggest: Try a VPN. (personally I believe that option defeats the whole purpose of fixing the innate problem)

  7. So its been almost 6 months now since this came into being:

Many hotfixes later, this ended up never being addressed. (among some other oversights I'd assume)

But yeah, reviving the topic now and hoping that more folks are aware of it aside from just the handful bunch who "main" the weapon.

  8. ^ Title.

It seems Wukong's Cloud Walker doesn't just blind the enemies, but the players themselves too.....

    Case in point:

Soooo yeah, is this REALLY intentional?? x______x

For something thats supposed to make ya hop around the tileset all super fast, this is quite the self-contradicting trade off.

Poor Valkitty has lost all of her emissives. That's probably the other Tennogen helmet you were referring to, Maganar.

I tried looking through a lot of Tennogen skins to find any other ones with missing emissions, but I'm not very familiar with most of the skins, so I couldn't really find anything else.

Well, glad to see that my one drop of a post actually caused some form of a proverbial ripple here towards the issue.

Normally with smaller insignificant bugs like these, my default stance has often been just waiting it out knowing that EVENTUALLY things will get fixed. But in this case, when the problem is more spread out and affecting several pieces of work that involve ACTUAL money (not in-game currency/plat), then yeah I'd definitely feel concerned over any form of delay towards it being resolved.

(Aside ya know, fashion frame quite literally being the endgame here. 😛 )

  10. Updated tags to include PSA, coz unlike some visual bugs this one is apparent enough to put off a lot of folks from buying the helmet and those who already did. (seeing as how its LITERALLY missing a key feature thats advertised)

  11. No idea if this is the case with other platforms, but on PC at least this particular helmet for Valkyr has an odd visual bug:

The original stock appearance of said helmet on the otherhand:

Oh and I can confirm that this bug appeared way before today's hotfix.

  12. So if in general Hildryn can draw energy from shields and likewise the dropped orbs convert into her shields, then why is Melee Channeling in particular disabled for her?

Seems a rather hard handicap for a frame, even if the mechanic is currently one of a kind here. And in particular, this breaks weapons like Vaykor Sydon that have their passive triggers tied to the new Melee Channel toggle button.

Any chance you can rectify this?

  13. Oh waaaaai....

Yeah my bad, should've paid more closer attention to the notes. 😛

But it still turns out that Hildryn can't use the Melee Channel toggle. Like sure, its one thing if she doesn't have the energy to perform Channeling in general but this is a weapon's passive. Nothing to do with the frame herself.

  14. So uhhh....dunno if anyone else noticed this, but the weapon kinda broke with the melee revisit here.

The new auto block feature still charges up the radial blind, but it can't trigger anymore with Hildryn in particular because the Channeling Toggle is now tied with the weapon's passive.
