  1. You forgot about the SP version duviri orowyrm. That's actually my favorite WF boss atm. The mechanics are very fun. I just don't play it more because having to do all the bounties before fighting him is extremely boring for me. I used to love eidolons when they first launched and encouraged squad play, but they became so trivialized over the years with all the power creep, like helminth and focus rework. They're still fun for an occasional nightwave tho. But regardless, even tho styanax can trivialize the Fragmented I still like the fight in the 60 eye and EDA versions. Sure it's a bullet sponge, but with other frames (I played frost when I did 60 eyes and Lavos this week) it requires more awareness and parkour and you can't just stand still with immortal frames like other bosses. It's more more engaging and chaotic in a good way.
  2. Not the best boss fight in the game, but I had fun as well. Reminded me of the 60 eye version, lots of parkour and shooting, good stuff.
  3. Skip the x50 vosfor and you get to choose any weapon, that's what I did 🤷‍♂️ The x50 vosfor is there as a bad reward exactly for this reason, to give us some breathing room for the research. You don't need to check all the boxes just because they're there.
  4. The last reward is x50 vosfor. It's meaningless. It's there to give us some leeway and be able to skip one research. It's just an optional for ppl that want to go all in for the challenge and get a bit extra. But the meaningful rewards (shards and arcanes) are before that. In my case I just picked a strong favorite weapon that could handle everything and that was it. (Initially I tried the gear wheel to summon specters but that appears to be bugged)
  5. Same for me. Except I noticed I could use the gear wheel when I was host, but not when I was client (both times I left the gear modifier unchecked to be able to use it).
  6. LOL you guys need to get over yourselves and touch grass Are you all new? Is this the first time you experience a nerf? They're still iterating on it. Give it a few more hotfixes, things will be fine in the end. Has happened countless times in the past. That's how game development works for live services. The LoS still sucks atm, but they'll iron it out and the game will be better for it in the long run.
  7. I personally don't think LoS by itself is the problem, it works perfectly fine in other games. The problem is how buggy and wonky LoS in WF has always been. Dante's LoS is still bugged after the hotfixes and not working properly. If DE manages to fix it and make it feel smooth and fair he'll be a great frame. And then they can fix the LoS of other frames as well.
  8. I think Dante is very fun to play and pretty strong too, BUT you absolutely need to do more tweaks and fixes to the LoS. It's still bugged as others have pointed out. I'm not impatient and I think the game will be better as a whole when you guys finish addressing the historically bad LoS and apply it to other frames. It's for the better in the long run, these map wiping nukes that go across rooms and floors shouldn't exist and really dumb down gameplay. But LoS is not quite there right now, still very clunky.
  9. I disagree with you as someone who actually enjoyed this game mode. Sure, not every weapon is serviceable, but any frame can be as long as you're willing to change your build for the situation. Any frame can be built to survive well enough, and helminth can give you CC, dmg buff and/or even more survivability if needed. Plus your point about the last reward being bad just means you dont need to check every research point. It gives you leeway to pick at least one strong weapon of your choice. This game mode is actually pretty fun for tinkering with loadouts that can handle the modifiers and missions given the limitations.
  10. Exactly this. You can safely skip the last reward in elite and always have at least one weapon of your choice to make sure you succeed. This week I got 2 shards (one was tau), 2 melee duplicates and an adapter. It was very worth it for two netracell keys.
  11. I just posted a thread of my own saying how much I loved it for the exact same reasons as you, didn't see yours before I posted mine, but I entirely agree!
  12. I'm not a huge fan of Sortie-format missions and never cared much for random loadouts either, so I didn't expect to like deep/elite archimedea. But I actually ended up enjoying it quite a lot. The combination of high level enemies, random loadouts (even though it's optional) and modifiers made the experience of theory crafting a loadout that could handle the missions very fun and interesting. How to handle energy econ and health regen due to the restrictions, focus on ehp since shields were at slow recharge, etc. Not being able to use operator is what closed the deal for me, it was such a throwback to 2017, back when I first started playing WF and before the PoE operator rework gave everyone endless invulnerability on demand. Having to worry more about positioning and CC when you need to rez a fallen tenno or activate a life support capsule is just so much more engaging. That's exactly what I love WF for, trying out different builds and loadouts and putting them to the test. I know it's not going to be popular because people just want to spam what is more comfortable and effortless for them, but I thought it was brilliant. Not my favorite mission, but a very solid addition. Maybe I'll be frustrated if I ever get a horrible roll that is absolutely unusable for the missions at hand, but even then from what I can see at Elite you could always unmark one of the weapons research to pick one of your choice and skip the last reward since it's just vosfor anyways. Any warframe can be built to survive lvl 400, and with one weapon of your choice you should be ready to go. Helminth solves any possible need for CC. Pablo has been killing it in my opinion, when compared to the old team. Between elite archimedea, archon hunts, SP fissures and now omni fissures as well, WF's "evergreen" endgame has never been this robust before (people can argue about trials, but frankly they were lackluster IMO with very little combat sections).
  13. You didnt have those weapons in your arsenal? Because amprex and euphona could most certainly handle those missions. Maybe I was lucky, but for both rolls I got (the first was that one that bugged and reset) I had at least one weapon with a high percentage of usage time.
  14. Nezha absolutely needed that nerf. A 50m+ no LoS, going through walls, all around nuke that required 2 button presses was just stupid. Blows my mind that even made it to the Live game. Every single youtuber commented on how that was going to be nerfed. Anyone who's been around for a while knew it was going to be nerfed. It was just dumb. I used it once in an archon hunt defense and effortlessly hoarded 90% of the kills without even trying hard or seeing most of the enemies. I didnt play Dante yet, but from the videos I watched he seemed very overtuned as well. I do agree Saryn has similar problems, although at least Saryn requires a bit more engagement with the enemies to maintain the map wide nukes. Mesa and Octavia require direct interaction with the enemies (as in at least seeing them) so I disagree on them being the same. Octavia is just a boring lazy afk frame. Kullervo I haven't played enough to comment. But frankly I think all warframes and weapons should require LoS. Blowing things up in a 30-50m radius across rooms and floors is just dumb and waters down the gameplay. Frankly if it was up to you guys you'd just press one button at the start of the mission to nuke all the enemies instantaneously and jump to the rewards screen. I actually like playing the game. There's more than enough power creep already.
  15. I agree with OP, please don't gut Zenurik for fighting the spectral forms in Cascade.
  16. Better is relative or at least up for debate. Since WF is so easy and so many weapons can comfortably reach level cap damage. But there's some extremely powerful prime weapons that can at least compete with incarnons in certain scenarios. Like nagantaka prime for single target dmg and glaive prime for AoE. But incarnons are certainly the meta atm.
  17. They said they'll add new regions to the SP fissures (and incursions as well) and mention Zariman and Labs as examples. They dont mention new game modes specifically, like void cascade, but I'm really hoping for that. It's around 26:40 min on the devstream:
  18. The biggest thing for me by far was the SP fissure expansion. Being able to play axi fissures in Zariman, Entrati Labs and hopefully all the new mission types DE has been adding over the last couple years is what I wanted the most.
  19. Simon says? I mean, that's just how bosses work in the vast majority of action games. You react to their attacks 🤷‍♂️ That's how certain WF bosses used to work in the past before power creep and ridiculous cheese power started to allow us to bypass all game mechanics with button presses. Take Kela in Sedna for example before operator gave us on demand invulnerability. The Fragmented boss can still be cheesed as well, you just need to move a tiny bit more than usual. This boss is fun as heck, but it's not meant to replace normal content, it's just, as you said, a hard mode secret boss to give players that have everything a little extra difficulty. Blows my mind how people love to praise WF parkour and movement, but seem to hate any combat that requires you to parkour a tiny bit more instead of just standing still.
  20. Sadly my PC can't handle Warframe anymore. I was solo halfway through the final health bar of the boss when too many eximus and particles started spawning and filling the screen and the PC just restarted by itself. Before, that used to happen only when I spent several hours inside an endurance mission, but then with Zariman it started happening if I went inside the angel arena while in a squad (solo it's ok) but now in Whispers it's happened a few times already, even with all graphics on low. Guess it's time to upgrade if I ever want to finish this boss.
  21. Warframe community has always been entitled af. DE will just release more halos down the line now that they're in the game and turn them into rewards. Sooner or later everyone will have access to some form of it, I'm sure.
  22. I don't mean to detract from your achievement, I personally think it's quite impressive, but it's not a world's first since someone else already did and recorded it about one year ago: I agree in parts. It was certainly WAY more impressive reaching a level cap before (or even just reaching enemy level in the thousands), when enemies weren't paper thin like nowadays and there wasn't as much power creep. Unless you were doing solo Ivara covert lethality or solo Octavia vs corpus cheese, the only way to do level cap it was actually in a squad with good synergy and a strategy. However the reason I said "agree in parts" was because this synergy and strategy usually involved a lot of cheese and boring stuff like camping behind shields, walls and other map obstacles. But I still remember very fondly when Disruption first launched with that operation hostile mergers (I think that was the name) and killing a level 500-800 demolyst solo with actual weapon damage (as opposed to other methods like oberon smite) was actually a much more difficult and rewarding feat. Nowadays you can kill a level cap demolyst/demolisher in a few seconds with dozens of different weapons.
  23. I bought mine this week and they're gorgeous. Among the most beautiful skins in the game for sure. The price was steep, but I got dozens if not hundreds of hours of entertainment out of WF in the past couple years, so for me it's money well spent to support the game. And I can use the aya to get some of the prime accessories that I want and never bought before, like the targis armor this rotation. Frankly going out twice for a couple drinks and some food would amount to the same sum. People asking for these skins to be available for plat are too far off the mark, the game needs to make money with premium cosmetics. I just hope they make smaller bundles available next time to offer more purchase options for those with a more limited budget.
  24. Thanks, I'm buying them now. I'm really happy with the direction the game has been going since Zariman, and more than willing to support DE. But maybe next time add some more package options with less fluff (like when you guys finally started selling prime accessories separately). The exclusivity though I think is perfectly fine and even kinda nice.
  25. I'll probably end up buying it because I've been pretty happy with the game's direction recently and the skins look gorgeous. I love Frost and play him a lot, but Mag has been collecting dust for a while in my arsenal, I got bored of the bubble playstyle. Maybe the skin will get me inspired to play her more again. I'll wait to see if DE budges to all the complaints first though. The price is indeed steep atm.
