  1. Thanks, I'm buying them now. I'm really happy with the direction the game has been going since Zariman, and more than willing to support DE. But maybe next time add some more package options with less fluff (like when you guys finally started selling prime accessories separately). The exclusivity though I think is perfectly fine and even kinda nice.
  2. I'll probably end up buying it because I've been pretty happy with the game's direction recently and the skins look gorgeous. I love Frost and play him a lot, but Mag has been collecting dust for a while in my arsenal, I got bored of the bubble playstyle. Maybe the skin will get me inspired to play her more again. I'll wait to see if DE budges to all the complaints first though. The price is indeed steep atm.
  3. I'll probably end up buying it anyways because I've been pretty satisfied with WF's direction recently and the skins look gorgeous, but I agree I would definitely prefer a package option that has ONLY the skins and no regal aya or platinum, since I don't particularly need those and they inflate the price. Also it helps that the price isn't as horrible in my own region.. it's still very steep and more than what I normally spend on WF at once, but it's not a direct dollar conversion, so it ends up being a little cheaper than buying a brand new game here.
  4. I'm cautiously optimistic. The gameplay is ok, although it does need some work for suuure. The last boss fight, despite the epic and amazing music, had me cringing a bit with the limited boss movements and wonky hit registration. But the gameplay is decent enough as long as the RPG progression and the story/world are amazing. That story part worries me a bit, since the whole good nature vs evil tech seems a bit cliched for my own tastes and very tame compared to WF's lore. But I'll wait and see, just not holding my breath that lightning can strike twice in the same place. EDIT: The atmopshere, art style and environments were GORGEOUS though. Still DE's strongest asset.
  5. That pretty much explains the rest of what you wrote. Expecting a full gameplay balance rework of Warframe 10 years in is completely unrealistic and a forum pipe dream for the 6 years I've been on these forums. In terms of core gameplay they also showed a new warframe, an entirely new tileset and a new weapon class. Personally, I'm hyped for 1999. Duviri was pretty cool for me and the lovecraftian vibes of this upcoming update are amazing.
  6. Funny, because what I remember of Steve and Scott were different things: multiple years lost in Railjack development before realizing it couldn't be done in the way they wanted and announced; the bitesize content mentality that took over the game for years until they realized people loved Arbitrations and they were headed in the wrong direction; the absolute refusal to give us high level enemies even though we could already one shot them in Simulacrum; being shocked when eidolons started getting one shot on day one (goes to show how much he knew his own game) then proceeding to nerf all other subsequent world bosses like the orbs and making combat more and more irrelevant for them (just puzzle bosses). I mean, what direction was that? You're delusional. WF is still the same game. On the other hand with Rebb/Pablo we have a TON of new game modes including the best one this game has ever had (void cascade), zero fear of giving us high level enemies with super fast scaling. I clearly see the direction they are going for here, and it's one I actually enjoy a lot more than back in the days of PoE when Steve was too afraid to let us fight high level enemies.
  7. I mean, maybe it was done on purpose with the forethought it'd allow them to sell future weapons for plat 🤷‍♂️ Not that I care much either way, personally. I play WF more casually nowadays, so waiting 1-5 weeks before I can farm the new weapons doesn't change much for me. There'll be other stuff to do.
  8. Do you remember which island/cave this was on? I've been searching around, but no luck.
  9. Nice find! Which island is this grave on? I do believe more in the albrecht theory than ballas. It makes sense with the duviri codex and deimos story.
  10. I really like this deluxe, it's pretty cool. But I also loved baruuk's as well. Only one I disliked and thought was weak was wisp.
  11. I don't mean this in a negative way at all, but quite honestly, what would you suggest? Because personally, I don't see any sort of realistic solution whatsoever for what you're asking. Unless DE redid the game from scratch as Warframe 2 (which quite frankly I think they should). I can buff my damage with quadratic scaling and all sorts of crazy synergies to reach billions of damage in a single hit. We basically have excess of overkill damage for anything up to level 10k. I can be completely immortal and invulnerable to anything by just void dashing every 5s or so in any frame. Or use the other handful of ways to be immortal. CC entire tilesets and disable all enemy AI (so much for the pipe dream of enemy AI as a solution to anything). Eximus barely make a dent in this because some of the CC distract them as well. Frankly, how do you design endgame that puts all of that to the test? I see people asking for this, but WF is just not this game. That boat has sailed several years ago. DE decided to embrace the power fantasy very early on. You can just mod your way out of resource management, aiming, and pretty much anything else. I think Pablo is a hero to design in this spaguetti code mess and come up with cool modes like void cascade that are at least still engaging our brains somehow. WF is hardly a game that should be taken seriously as a main hobby or something you strive to get better at, it's just casual fun. And that's fine.
  12. Basically this ☝️ The only "endgame" in Warframe that withstood the test of time and extreme power creep was endurance runs. And WF is more friendly now to endurance runs than it's ever been in the past, even if we include the days of void keys. You can reach level cap in an hour or so with a competent squad. You can solo level cap in 3 or 4 hours even without being in sweaty tryhard mode, and just chilling in the mission. SP circuit has allowed even pubs to reach level cap runs when the stars align. Disruption, Void Cascade, Circuit, all of these are ideal for level cap runs and that extra dose of challenge. Depending on your loadout choices that challenge can be higher or lower. Trials used to be endgame, but those were all about puzzles and team coordination and almost zero combat. Eidolons were the closest DE got to endgame world bosses, and they were a nice mix of combat and team coordination at first, but power creep progressed to such a point, that eidolons are almost unrecognizable now compared to how they were at launch. Plus DE clearly backtracked after eidolons, making each new world boss easier than before, with less gear checks and more focused on puzzle mechanics. It's very hard for DE to design raids and world bosses as endgame with the extreme level of power creep we have. We can be immortal nonstop, CC the entire tile and deal billions of capped damage. Pablo has been doing a good job IMO designing game modes with these limitations, such as void cascade that has a lot to do with reaction time and movement in between frame and operator combat sections, managing to maintain a good level of challenge despite our power creep because of that. But there's only so much he can do. It's mostly Void Cascade and Void Flood. They both reach level cap very fast if you're speedrunning it with a good squad. Armaggedon is a lot slower (but still not as slow as the classic 8 hour survival).
  13. Fun: Komorex, vectis prime, trumna, nataruk, Paris and dread incarnon, phenmor
  14. Agreed, phenmor is still among my top favorites. Incredibly fun (and powerful) weapon, without being too cheesy.
  15. I don't know, I like so many of them. Paris, dread, Boltor, soma, torid, latron... I don't have ceramic dagger yet, but I imagine it'll join the list once I get it.
  16. I do, yes. It's a little more annoying to use in wider open tilesets like Circuit, since you'd be better off funneling enemies through corridors or narrow passages. But still pretty good. As for the windup, use some fire rate mod and it should take care of that.
  17. Baro brought the beacons this weekend, I did around x30 stalkers, got despair on the second run but Hate never dropped 😑
  18. I'm pretty sure this was edited in afterwards. Still happy to see it though.
  19. Please look into the zylok as well, the AoE component is very bugged.
  20. While the normal dread is mostly slash, the dread incarnon is actually 50% heat, not so much slash. That said, I'm still loving it with my crit riven. The projectile is bigger than the nataruk and the dispo is just so high. It's insanely fun. I mean, sure, it's a bit weird that both dread and Paris are so similar, but I won't complain. I'm loving these bows. I wonder if split flights working on them but not on nataruk is intended or not though.
  21. Out of curiosity which one would you consider the best and why? As for the zylok, the reason I'm considering picking one up is because I already have one built in my arsenal. I was really hoping the sibear would be amazing to warrant the 30k cryotic price but it looks so underwhelming.
